This release celebrated 50 years of his songwriting partnership with Bernie Taupin. August 2018 saw Elton named as the most successful male solo artist in Billboard Hot 100 chart history, having logged 67 entries, including nine No. 1s and 27 Top 10s.

Elton announced the ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour at New York’s Gotham Hall in January 2018. Encompassing 5 continents and over 350 dates, this 3-year-long tour started in September 2018 and marks his retirement from touring after more than 50 years on the road. In May 2019, it was named Billboard's Top Rock Tour. To date, Elton has delivered more than 4,000 performances in more than 80 countries since launching his first tour in 1970.

Elton John became one of only 65 people who can hold this honor at one time.

In 1992, Elton established the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which today is one of the leading non-profit HIV/AIDS organizations and has raised over $450 million to date in the global fight against HIV/AIDS. In June 2019, President Emmanuel Macron presented Elton the Légion d’Honneur, France’s highest award, for his lifetime contribution to the arts and the fight against HIV/AIDS.

John’s ‘Farewell Yellow Brick Road’ tour has faced multiple postponements since kicking off in 2018, due to the pandemic as well as the singer’s hip injury. Last month, he announced fresh dates for North America after resuming the tour in New York back in January .

John was due to play  a run of rescheduled UK headline dates  between October and December 2021. However,  he was forced to postpone the shows to 2023  after sustaining a hip injury from an “awkward” fall.

Speaking to  NME  as part of  a Big Read cover interview in October , Elton John said he was determined to finish the tour, but confirmed that it will also certainly be his last.

“It’s something I wanna finish,” he told  NME . “I’m looking forward to doing it and going out on the high that we were on – we were an express train that hit the buffers. At the moment I finish supposedly in 2023, in the summer, by which time I’ll be 76 – and that’s it, baby.”

Sir Elton John, is a singer, composer, pianist and all round British national treasure who has been blessing the world with his talents for decades.

Born in 1947 as Reginald Kenneth Dwight, Elton experienced a fairly restrictive childhood growing up in Middlesex. His musical talents were clear from an early age, taking up the piano aged 3 and getting a scholarship to the Royal Academy of music at 11.

After a turbulent relationship with Elton’s father, who expressed very little interest in the young musician, Elton’s mother divorced and remarried. The new couple helped Elton secure a job as a pub pianist where he worked until he formed a now legendary partnership with Bernie Taupin in 1967, following an advert in the NME,.

With Bernie writing the lyrics and Elton the music (a tried and tested method that still works today), the duo began writing popular works for other artists such as ‘LuLu’ before beginning on Elton’s solo material. The release of Elton’s self-titled second album saw him take the first leap towards stardom. It spawned the hit single ‘Your Song’ and landed the album at number 4 and 5 on the US charts respectively.

1972’s ‘Honky Chateau’ became Elton’s first number one album and would be followed by 6 more consecutively, most famously ‘Goodbye Yellow Brick Road’ which stayed at the top spot for two months.

Outside of music, Elton has been a important figure for LGBT rights around the world. He publicly came out in 1988 and has since been a vocal figure for important social causes such as the AIDS crisis and gay marriage in the UK.

Live reviews

Elton John is an amazing singer but lastnight at Cardiff City Stadium was such a disappointment. The sound quality was absolutely dreadful. The sound Tech staff should hang their heads in shame. Our night was ruined from the minute the music started.

The speakers in the centre of the stadium were about 1-2 seconds delayed so there was a constant echo. If you didn’t know the words to the songs then you wouldn’t know what the hell he was singing because of the poor quality. I don’t expect to pay the money we did to see a mega star on his Farewell tour to listen to it like we had to. Everyone we spoke to was disappointed.

Then there was the security....or should I say lack of...? We entered via gate 9, I had a tag put on my bag saying it had been checked. The guy never even looked inside. No personal searches were done & no one was scanned either. DISGUSTING. In this day and age where terrorism & knife crime is at its worst in the Uk, I would expect more....ALOT more. May I remind the event organisers/security team of The Manchester Arena bombing....seriously. People were entering with rucksacks, large shopping bags, golf umbrellas that could be used as weapons had there been fights etc. Then we witnessed the stewards on the pitch chatting to each other, texting, filming Elton John & basically doing everything BUT supervise the crowds. An Absolute shambles from start to end.

I will certainly remember this concert but NOT for the right reasons.

Everyone who stepped into that stadium lastnight was FAILED & LET DOWN.

There aren’t many artists who have sold more then 300 million records worldwide, but Elton John is one of these superstar legends. His single ‘Candle in the Wind’ selling 33 million copies alone, there are few who could even dream of topping that. The scope of his work is remarkable, from singer-songwriter music through to songs for feature films. And a knighthood from the Queen? Goodness me Elton!

Part of the magic of his performances is seeing him sit alone at his piano, accompanying himself and improvising to his own score. Over the years of course, his voice has grown weaker, but the magic remains and his performances do not lose their power, as he is backed up by a stellar band. One man holding the attention of an arena audience seems like an incredible feat, but Elton John at home on the stage, has this down to a tee. Aiming to please the audience, he always provides a selection of his great hits as well as some of the lesser known tracks from his older albums for some variation, something that usually pleases the hungry crowd.

50 years of performances, and Elton John’s stamina remains incredibly impressive, and if you are lucky enough to get your hands on a ticket, you can expect to watch a performance of anything up to 2 hours, and I promise, it will fly by!

I have been an Elton John fan since the 70s and this concert in Roanoke was the first chance I have had to see him and The Elton John Band perform live. It exceeded any possible expectations!! The sound live is so all encompassing, the piano so mesmerizing and so many of my favorite EJ songs! To hear 'Your Song' done in concert is just the most beautiful experience! Other numbers especially noteworthy in this concert were 'Philadelphia Freedom', 'I Guess That's Why They Call It The Blues', 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' and one of his newest songs 'Good Heart'. The encore finale number of 'Crocodile Rock' just blows away any recording of it I have ever heard, phenomenal concert!! No other performer I have ever seen went the whole concert the way Elton John did, just amazing, I am so thankful I went and I would see him again if he tours anywhere I can reasonably get to. AMAZING, you will regret it if you miss the opportunity to hear this iconic performer and his band! Nigel Olsson on Drums with EJ since 1969, Scottish guitarist Davey Johnstone since 1972 (crazy talented, must see live to fully appreciate!) Thanks for coming to Roanoke, VA, Elton!! <3 A fan forever here <3

The concert was AWESOME! It was the first time I saw Elton in Concert. I have every album he has made and grew up with his music. The concert was one I will never forget. Even though I enjoy all the instruments and artists in his band I could listen to just him alone playing his piano. He puts his heart and soul in his music and I find myself remembering my life and feeling all the feelings I have over the last 45 years. He thanked his fans and was so gracious but I felt like I needed to thank him. He is blessed with his music and I felt I was Thankful to have him share his gift with me. He did something I have never seen in a concert before which warmed my heart. He not only went from side to side thanking his fans and shaking their hands. He also bent down and signed autographs. He was amazing. He took his time with his fans. So few times have I seen other artists take a second of their time to do the same. But Elton with his magnitude of success did far more than I have ever seen. I felt lucky and blessed to finally see the one concert I wanted to see for the last 45 years. Thank you Sir Elton John for sharing your heavenly talent! I am in Awe!

The SHOW was great, as a whole--I think. Video productions, etc. were awesome. Musicians looked to be performing well. The sound SUCKED! The sound in the Dallas American Airlines Center was so loud--especially the lower frequencies--that the mix was unintelligible. It was literally too loud to understand. We could distinguish not one word that was sung by Elton John--NOT ONE! Of course, we knew most of the words to the songs, but the only place we could distinguish those words was in our memories. If we EVER go to another rock/pop concert at AAC, it will be with earplugs, although even those probably wouldn't have helped at this concert. Covering my ears with my hands failed to significantly reduce the bass. I feel as though I paid $500 for two tickets to a video with an undecipherable soundtrack. While the SHOW was great, in general it was a disappointment. I have seen/heard Eric Clapton three previous times at AAC, and, while the sound was loud at those concerts, it was nothing like the Elton John concert. I suspect the fault lies with Elton John's engineers, so maybe this will be a problem elsewhere too.

This show was completely misrepresented by ALL promoters! The vast majority of concert goers thought we were going to witness a live concert with Elton backed by the Orchestra. What we received was a grossly overpriced movie showing of “Rocketman” with the Orchestra playing in the background during certain scenes.

A piano was brought out on stage during the movie intermission. At the tail end the film director introduced Elton, Bernie & the Actors. One song was performed with Elton on piano & Taron singing. That was a 5 minute nicety after a 3 hour let down.

I met two nice ladies who flew in from Canada dressed up and super excited only to be completely disappointed.

They gave out free concert posters at the end of show as we were exiting, that didn’t even represent what was real. I contemplate if I even want to hang on my wall as I do not wish to remember this experience because it was not a true representation of the night or what the poster implies.

We should ALL be refunded!!!!

Elton, were you aware of this advertising scam?

The production was first class by Baby Boomer standards; however, I would grade the performance as a B. Elton doesn't have the voice anymore, so he doesn't try for the real high notes and resorts to screaming some of the lyrics. The music was pretty tight, though he took liberties with the melody sometimes. Overall, it was a great show but it wasn't the best. I understand he will be performing over 300 concerts throughout this farewell tour, lasting into the Fall of 2021. That's a lot. He's not getting any younger and, in fact, he's seems to have some difficulty with mobility.

You can Google his play list but it doesn't include some of his bigger hits (Honky Cat or Harmony). He did go for nearly 2 hours straight and came back for a 2-song encore. I had comp tickets, but probably wouldn't pay the $300+ if I had to buy them. Glad I went, though. He is a legend!

Great concert. I was six rolls up from the Floor. There was two screens one on each side of the stage over the seats. Started at 8/7c. I live in Al. so I like the hour time difference. It was a sold out concert. Everybody was standing up dancing by their seats. Elton left the stage after just guessing 20 songs. After he left the stage. Everybody was hooping and hollowing, clapping like crazy. He came back and sang one more song before the show ending at around 10:40/9:40c. This was the 3rd E.J. concert. 1st was in 1999 in Chattanooga Tn. He was there alone. Then Sept. 12, 2012 in Huntsville, Al. with the band. And this time with the band. I didn't go to the 2013 Chattanooga concert because it hasn't been that long since I saw him in Huntsville. Now I'm waiting for Rod Stewart to come to Chattanooga. I saw him in Tampa Fl. when I lived near by for a short time.

The concert was fantastic. This was my 6th Elton John concert that I have been to and he never fails to please the crowd. Sadly the wind effected the sound though. Elton's tribute to Jonah Lomu was really heartfelt and beautiful. It was so lovely to see the whole audience swaying and holding up their cel phones and singing along with Elton to Don't let the sun go down on me. The same thing was done to one of my favourite songs, Candle in the wind which was written about Marilyn Monroe and later changed for Princess Diana it to was really emotional I will never forget that. The thing about Elton John is that you could tell that he really wanted to be there and that he truly loves what he does. He is a proffesional polished act. The other thing that was so good was that there were people of all ages at the concert. Elton John's music is timeless and ageless.

Well Elton has the sense to understand that his won't hit all the high notes he used to do. So he has adapted the songs to sung writhing his band, and he sings them comfortably. But they are not exactly as you may remember hearing them. After all you are listening to the original artist, but a different variant of the song. Some of them worked really well, like Bennie and the Jets, Saturday nights alright for fighting, others not so, like Tiny Dancer. Overall a credit to a master performer, plays for over 2 and a half hours. The thank you towards the fans of Australia was quite emotional, for him and us. All unscripted, he went deep into all the years of support and encouragement he received from Aus.

Possibly one of the best entertainers of his era, certainly the most flamboyant. We thank you and Bernie for your contribution of classic songs. Leon

One of the most successful singers ever, Sir Elton John will be performing at the BST Festival in Hyde Park this Friday, June 24, as part of his Yellow Brick Road Farewell tour. The Rocket Man officially kicked off the tour in 2018, however many of the dates were cancelled due to Covid restrictions and the star’s hip injury. Much to fans’ delight, he is now back.

The singer, who has recently collaborated with the likes of Dua Lipa and Ed Sheeran, resumed performing the tour, which began on 15th June and ends in March next year. It includes 51 shows for the UK, Ireland and Scotland leg, with ticket prices ranging from £49 to a whopping £1,199.

Elton will hit the stage of Hyde Park this Friday for the first British Summertime music event in three years. And it is set to be an emotional and unforgettable night, spotlighting the efforts of the NHS and frontline workers. Here’s everything you need to know about the sold out gig.

Starting in 2013, BST has become Hyde Park’s biggest live music event. It is a 10 day festival, now taking place across three weekends once a year in the Royal Park, with nine incredible concert days featuring legendary headliners and support from rising stars, plus delicious food and drink. In past years, headliners have included Celine Dion, Taylor Swift, Blur, Kylie Minogue, The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Lionel Richie, Barbara Streisand and Black Sabbath. It is a standing only event and has a capacity of 65,000 fans.

Nearest stations

The nearest Tube stations are Hyde Park Corner, Marble Arch, Bond Street, Knightsbridge, Green Park and Lancaster Gate. There are strikes the following day on Saturday, June 25, so you may find there are disruptions or a reduced schedule. You can also get to the park by catching a bus to:

Marble Arch on the 26, 7, 10, 16, 23, 36, 73, 74, 82, 94, 98, 137, 148, 159, 274, 390, 414, 436, C2

Knightsbridge on the 9, 10, 14, 19, 22, 52, 74, 137, 414, 452

All TFL buses have level access and can accommodate one wheelchair user. If you wish to cycle, you can bring your own lock and take advantage of the temporary bike rack at Albert Gate Entrance to Hyde Park, near Knightsbridge. Be sure to collect it at the end of the concert as it may be removed if left behind. Also, do not attach your bike to park railings.

Drop off/Pick up and parking

There is no official drop off or pick up location at the event due to congestion, so it is best to plan a location away from the park. Please note Park Lane may be closed for a short time after the concert ends. If you are driving down yourself, you can pre book parking to guarantee a space at Q-Park Park Lane and Q-Park Marble Arch car parks.

Support acts

The line up has been handpicked by Elton himself and showcases the hottest up-and-coming talent.

Rina Sawayama: The Brit Award nominee rose to fame following the release of her critically acclaimed debut album Sawayama in 2020. She collaborated with Elton last year on the duet Chosen Family, and she has since been in the studio with Charlie XCX collaborating on her hit single Beg For You.

The Gabriels: This LA soul trio’s 2021 album Love and Hate was hailed by Elton as “one of the most seminal records I’ve ever heard in the past 10 years”.

Let’s Eat Grandma: These two Norwich girls are an alternative, indie duo who are challenging gender stereotypes in the industry. They released their first album I, Gemini in 2016 when they were still at school. Their second album I’m All Ears was nominated for an Ivor Novello award for best album and their latest release is meant to be the best yet.

Berwyn: The Trinidad born rapper, producer and songwriter, who now lives in East London, has survived immigration issues and homelessness. He is now one of the artists to watch in the UK.

Thomas Headon: Born in England and now based in London, the 21 year old Australian singer songwriter has garnered millions of streams on Spotify with his singles including Grace and Clean Me Up.

Tom A Smith: Emerging Sunderland newcomer Tom A Smith is a talented teenager and he has already performed on national stages such as Glastonbury. His debut EP released this year and is made up of songs the 17 year old penned during lockdown.

Juanita Euka: The Congolese born vocalist, raised in Buenos Aires, is a familiar face on the vibrant London music scene. Her influences include soukous, son, soul, hip hop and jazz, and she has already fronted some of the top UK Afro-Latin bands. Mabanzo, Euka’s debut album, was recorded in home studios during lockdown.

Event Details

Elton John has today announced that the forthcoming 2021 European and UK tour dates of his Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour have to be rescheduled to 2023.

Elton says:

'It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I am forced to reschedule the 2021 dates of my Farewell Yellow Brick Road tour in Europe and the UK to 2023.

At the end of my summer break I fell awkwardly on a hard surface and have been in considerable pain and discomfort in my hip ever since. Despite intensive physio and specialist treatment, the pain has continued to get worse and is leading to increasing difficulties moving. I have been advised to have an operation as soon as possible to get me back to full fitness and make sure there are no long-term complications. I will be undertaking a program of intensive physiotherapy that will ensure a full recovery and a return to full mobility without pain.

I am going to complete the charitable Global Citizen event on 25th September as I don’t want to let a charity down. Being just five songs it’s a very different physical undertaking to the demands of playing for close to three hours every night on tour and travelling overnight between countries. After this I will be having the operation to ensure the tour can get back on the road in January of 2022 in New Orleans.

I know how patient my incredible fans have been since Covid halted touring last year, and it breaks my heart to keep you waiting any longer. I completely feel your frustrations after the year we’ve had. I promise you this - the shows will return to the road next year and I will make sure they are more than worth the wait.

Elton x'

How to get to Resorts World Arena

If you're driving to the Elton John concert at Resorts World, the postcode you'll need for the Sat Nav is B40 1NT. Resorts World Birmingham is around 14 miles from Birmingham city centre on the M6 and 10 miles if you avoid the motorway and travel there on the A45 Coventry Road. The latter is, however, likely to take longer due to traffic.

Both routes take between 25 to 32 minutes, according to Google Maps, but it is best to leave plenty of time as traffic can be heavy at peak times, particularly when there is a big event at the arena or the NEC.

If you're catching the train, Birmingham International Train Station is less than a ten minute walk away. It is served by national and local services with Virgin Trains as the main operator plus Cross Country, London Midland and Arriva Trains Wales.

Alternatively, you can catch a bus from Birmingham Coach Station to Birmingham Airport , which is within easy reach of Resorts World. There are also buses that go via Birmingham Moor Street Bus/Rail Interchange. The 900 local bus service runs every 20 minutes during the day and takes around 30 mins, but be sure to allow for extra time due to traffic.

Parking at Resorts World Arena

There are more than 16,000 parking spaces on the NEC site. As you arrive, follow electronic directional signage to 'Arena Parking', which will lead you to the nearest available car park for the Elton John concert.

Make sure you don't park in the Resorts World Birmingham car park as this is just for shoppers and diners to use. The car park for Resorts World Arena is on the NEC site. Parking costs £13 on the day or £12 if you pre-pay in advance. You can also choose the NEC Express option which costs £21.50.

Be sure to take a credit card or phone as the venue is cashless so all parking payments must be made via credit/debit card or via your smartphone. There are Blue Badge parking areas for visitors with disabilities. Find out more on the Resorts World Arena Accessibility page.

Any bags brought into the Resorts World Arena must abide by the arena's bag policy. Bags must be no bigger than A4 in size (21cm x 30xm x 19cm), with a maximum of two compartments. Rucksacks are not permitted.

Elton John preformed to over 6 million fans across 330 shows in his farewell tour.

With glitz, glam and golden confetti, Elton John performed on tour for the last time on Saturday.

The final concert was set in Stockholm, Sweden. It wrapped up the British singer's "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour, which spanned over five years, 330 shows and 16 Gucci suits. The tour is considered the highest-grossing in Billboard Boxscore history. Last month, it became the first tour ever to make more than $900 million.

"What a journey this tour has been and now we find ourselves at the end of it," John wrote on Instagram before the show.

The show included several of John's signature songs, including Tiny Dancer, Rocket Man and Candle in the Wind.

In heart-shaped pink sunglasses, he thanked his fans for their support throughout the decades.

"You have no idea what it means to me, your kindness. I've had the most wonderful career," he said. "How lucky am I to play music. But I wouldn't be sitting here and talking to you if it wasn't for you."

The worldwide, farewell tour kicked off in 2018, but was forced to pause in 2020 for nearly two-years due to the pandemic. Last month, the 76-year-old gave his final U.K. performance while headlining the Glastonbury Festival.

In 2021, the international pop star told NPR that he looked forward to retiring from tour so that he could spend more time with his children.

"Ten years ago, I was going to just tour and make records. And I had nothing planned for the rest of my life except making music and touring," John said. "And then we had two fabulous little boys. And then David, my husband, said, well, what do you want out of life now? Do you still want to tour? I said, no, I don't."

He later said, "As much as I love playing, I want to be with my boys now. I want to be there for them."

David Beckham, co-owner of Inter Miami CF, looking on prior to a Leagues Cup football match at DRV PNK Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Florida

David Beckham’s alleged extramarital affairs reached a tipping point when he stiffed a hard working server who told his then-squeeze about her date being a cheapskate.

A waitress handed Beckham’s personal assistant and alleged mistress Rebecca Loos – whom he was romantically tied to while playing soccer for Real Madrid in 2004 – a note for him the day after they had eaten at the Hard Rock Cafe Madrid.

The note said she survived on tips and the athlete, who had just made $27m being transferred to Madrid , had stiffed her by leaving no money, Tom Bower reveals in his new scandal packed book, “ House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power ,” which is available in the US on Tuesday.

“After reading the note, Beckham was alarmed,” Bower writes of the soccer star, who was dining with SFX sports agency employees.

“Give her this,’ he said, handing over a thick wodge of euros,” Bower claims in the book.

Seeing Beckham act so poorly was an apparent turning point for Loos, Bower writes, and shortly after she was let go by the SFX agency she decided to sell the story of her alleged affair — which the Beckhams have never acknowledged or denied.

The book also reveals other instances of apparent tightness from the Beckhams, who are worth a combined $575m, according to the 2024 UK Sunday Times Rich List .

David and Victoria once conveniently ‘forgot’ to tip the crew when they were on board Elton John’s yacht — a frugal act that earned them the nickname the “Takums” from the “Tiny Dancer” songwriter.

David Beckham and Victoria Beckham dressed in suits, posing for the cover image of Tom Bower's biography, 'House of Beckham: Money, Sex and Power'.

“Elton would later complain that the ‘Takums’ had forgotten the customary courtesy of tipping the crew. A sum of about $26,733 was expected for one week,” Bower writes.

Bower also reveals on a separate instance, a Beckham staffer once asked for $10 for a taxi — a request which allegedly annoyed the couple.

Posh Spice Victoria also once expensed potato chips during a photo shoot, Bower dishes.

David, meanwhile, had a tendency to be cheap with charity.

David Beckham shirtless, holding hands with his child and a child of Elton John, jumping off a yacht, with Victoria Beckham, Elton John and David Furnish watching, in southern France.

During another instance, David allegedly wanted to serve a cheap bottle of warm wine, German Liebfraumilch, which goes for around $3.80 a bottle during a UNICEF fundraiser, Bower writes.

And, separately, David was on a trip to Cambodia with UNICEF when he made the humanitarian organization upgrade him from his five-star hotel to a more luxurious resort and refused to contribute his personal money to help foot the bill.

Elton John's new documentary to air at Toronto Film Festival

Elton John will debut his new documentary at the Toronto Film Festival in September.

The film, Elton John: Never Too Late, follows the singer through his last tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour, which took place last year.

It was the first-ever tour to gross over $900 million (£708 million).

The documentary promises to "pull the back the curtain" on the superstar's life, and contains "never-before-seen concert footage of him over the past 50 years, as well as hand-written journals and present-day footage of him and his family".

It will also document his final shows in the US, including "his November performance at Dodger Stadium in his final North American show".

The film is co-directed by R.J. Cutler and Elton's husband, David Furnish.

The Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour kicked off in 2018 and was due to finish in 2021. However, due to Covid, the tour lasted for five years. It finally wrapped in July 2023, with the 76-year-old performing his last-ever show in Stockholm.

"When we set off on my final tour in 2018, I couldn't have foreseen in my wildest dreams the twists and turns and the highs and lows this tour - and the whole world - would have experienced in the next five years," he said afterwards.

"I'm trying to process it, and I don't think it will sink in for a while yet that I've finally finished touring. I can't tell you how much I'm going to miss the fans and how much their support has humbled me - it will stay with me forever."

Since he's finished touring, Elton has been concentrating on working with his charity, the Elton John AIDS Foundation.

After the documentary debuts at Toronto, it will be shown on Disney+ later in the year.

Chappell Roan's 'HOT TO GO!' music video features these Springfield locations

Ozarkian pop star Kayleigh Rose Amstutz, more popularly known by her stage name Chappell Roan, is taking the world by storm. The 26-year-old Willard native opened her "Midwest Princess" tour with a free, sold out concert at the Gillioz Theater back in September, and has been turning heads ever since. Headlining festivals, opening for Olivia Rodrigo, and even garnering praise from pop legend Elton John , Roan's moment has arrived.

Featuring local drag queens and extras, the music video for one of Roan's most popular tracks, "HOT TO GO!", takes viewers back to her old stomping grounds: Springfield, Missouri. From horse murals to frozen custard stops, here's where to visit a few of the filming locations for Chappell Roan's "HOT TO GO!" music video.

The Gillioz Theater in Downtown Springfield

Originally built in 1926 by regional bridge builder M.E. Gillioz on the then-newly announced Route 66, the Gillioz Theater first housed vaudeville and film presentations. As vaudeville faded, the theater leaned heavily on film presentations and eventually closed. The Gillioz was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1991. It reemerged as an event venue after the Springfield community rallied to see it saved in 2006.

Programming at the Gillioz now includes a blend of film, concerts, comedy, theatre, and opera, with a 1,044-seat auditorium.

Fun Acre Miniature Golf Course

Just off the 2500 block of South Campbell Avenue, Fun Acre has been a Springfield mainstay since 1972. The 18-hole miniature golf course is open every day from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. in the summer (when school is out, according to the Fun Acre website).

For more hours and pricing information, visit the Fun Acre website .

Andy's Frozen Custard

Also a Springfield mainstay for decades, Andy's Frozen Custard has six locations across Springfield. Parts of Roan's "HOT TO GO!" music video were filmed at the Andy's on East Sunshine Street.

World's Largest Fork in Chesterfield Village

Behind an office building in Chesterfield Village, you'll find a polished stainless steel fork that is 35 feet tall and weighs in at 11 tons. The fork was originally designed in 1990 by Noble and Associates advertising agency for a restaurant on South Glenstone Avenue.

While still lovingly referred to as "the world's largest fork," there is some debate about which fork is actually the "largest." Springfield's fork was surpassed as the tallest fork by an Oregon sculpture in 2022, but remains the heaviest fork.

More: Chappell Roan is turning heads. Here's what Elton John said of the 'Midwest Princess'

Wild Horses mural on South Campbell Avenue

The wild horses mural featured in Roan's "HOT TO GO!" music video is located on South Campbell Avenue on the back of the Alamo Drafthouse building. It was originally painted over three weeks in 2008 to bring life to the building after complaints that it looked like a prison.

According to previous News-Leader reporting, behind the movie theater is a sinkhole and a stream. The artist, Susan Sommer-Luarca , chose horses because it was once a watering hole for cattle and horses heading to and from Springfield when Campbell Avenue was just a dirt road.
