LE SSERAFIM announce first batch of dates for their world tour, 'Flame Rises'

Girl group LE SSERAFIM will be embarking on their first ever world tour, ' Flame Rises ', beginning this August.

On June 28 KST, LE SSERAFIM unveiled the first batch of dates for their 2023 tour, which will kick off from August 12-13 in Seoul. The girls will then stop in Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Bangkok from August through October, with more dates and cities being announced very soon. 

No worries fans, HYBE Labels  confirmed early on that LE SSERAFIM will be greeting their fans with a world tour across various regions across Asia, North America, Latin America, and Europe in 2023.

LE SSERAFIM To Take Their Music Worldwide with Debut International Tour in August

K-pop sensation LE SSERAFIM has officially announced their highly-anticipated global tour, titled “Flame Rises,” during a recent press conference. The tour will kick off with a thrilling two-day concert in Seoul on August 12-13, followed by captivating performances in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka in Japan.

Fans can also look forward to the group’s upcoming visits to Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Bangkok in September and October.

In addition to their tour announcement, the gir group revealed that they will be releasing their second single in Japan, titled “Unforgiven,” on August 23. The single will feature the Japanese-language version of the group’s hit track “ Unforgiven,” originally from their debut studio album.

The album has achieved significant success , reaching No. 166 on the prestigious Billboard 200 chart and maintaining its presence for an impressive seven consecutive weeks since its debut at No. 6.

LE SSERAFIM has dropped the dates for their upcoming tour “FLAME RISES”!

After revealing the motion logo for their tour, LE SSERAFIM dropped the dates and locations for their upcoming concerts. LE SSERAFIM will kick off the tour in Seoul from August 12 to 13, then head to Nagoya, followed by Osaka, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Bangkok.

On June 28 at midnight KST, the rookie girl group officially announced that they would soon be embarking on their first-ever tour.

The group made the announcement with a dramatic logo motion teaser for “FLAME RISES,” an anagram of “LE SSERAFIM” (which is already famously an anagram of “IM FEARLESS”).

LE SSERAFIM is the latest artist in Billboard Japan ’s monthly feature interview series which presents various artists and works that have caught its eye. Making its debut in May 2022,  they are  the first girl group produced by SOURCE MUSIC and HYBE, the label behind BTS and countless other global artists.

It’s been roughly a year since your debut. Could you tell us where each of you thinks you’ve achieved the most personal growth over the course of this year?

KAZUHA: My greatest growth has been in how much my Korean has improved.

What about you, KIM CHAEWON?

KIM CHAEWON: Before our debut, and right after our debut, I wasn’t yet in the right frame of mind to enjoy myself while I was performing on stage. Now, though, I’ve become comfortable enough to have fun on stage. I think that’s an area where I’ve grown a lot.

Could you talk a bit about what makes LE SSERAFIM unique and what your strengths are?

SAKURA: A lot of our lyrics are based on our actual life experiences, so I think our songs can encourage and resonate with people who are going through similar experiences. I think our strength lies in the fact that we sing about our philosophy of how you can live your life.

What about your live performances?

In May, you released your first studio album, UNFORGIVEN . I’ve heard that you recorded several of the songs in Japan. Did you have any insights or discoveries during the recording process?

SAKURA: On this album, there were a lot of songs in genres that I didn’t have much experience with, for example, “Fire in the belly” which has a lot of Latin-influenced sounds. So when we were recording, I discovered new voices I didn’t know I had. Sometimes it was hard, but I think with UNFORGIVEN , listeners will be able to enjoy all kinds of genres through the entire album.

What did you do to prepare for recording?

KAZUHA: We began recording “UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers)” in Japan, and my approach was to sing the opening words “Unforgiven, I’m a villain, I’m a” in a kind of dark, cool way. But I got some advice to try singing it with a bit of a lighter tone, and when I tried it out, the producer was also like, “right there, that’s it.” That part sticks with you, and the producer said he wanted to make it an addictive hook, so I’m glad I was able to pull off that part so well. I think the recording of this album allowed me to experience the best possible recording process, despite the time limitations we were under.

KIM CHAEWON: We didn’t have that much time for recording, so I took a lot of care to make sure my voice was in its best condition.

HONG EUNCHAE: I sang a somewhat long part in “UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers).” It was my first time doing that, and I wanted to do really well, so I practiced to show the best version of myself.     

KIM CHAEWON: Our goal wasn’t breaking into the charts when we were preparing for the recording. We just wanted to do what we could and to express ourselves through music. That’s what we were focused on when we made the album. We figured that people would see what we accomplished and recognition would follow.

SAKURA: UNFORGIVEN dropped the day before we celebrated our first anniversary, and you can see the hard work we put in over the course of that year. A lot of people discovered us through “ANTIFRAGILE,” and I think the expectations people had for us had a good impact on us. The real test will be where we go from here. I want us to continue making the kind of music that only we can.

HUH YUNJIN: I can feel the love that so many people have for our songs and performances, and I’m so happy that the message we’re trying to share is reaching people. I want us to be a team that has a positive influence on people who see us perform, helping them courageously join hands and keep pushing forward.

Could you talk a bit about your second Japanese single, “UNFORGIVEN?” One of the songs on the single is a Japan-exclusive produced by imase titled “Jewelry (Prod. imase)” What are the highlights of this song?

KIM CHAEWON: The lyrics are beautiful. A lot of LE SSERAFIM songs have a cool, sophisticated atmosphere, but “Jewelry (Prod. imase)” is a bright, cheery song.

SAKURA: I think it’s a real ear-pleaser, perfect for listening to on late-night drives. A lot of LE SSERAFIM songs are rap-oriented songs, but when we recorded this song we tried to make our voices really shine.

HONG EUNCHAE: The word “sparkling” appears a few times in the lyrics, and when I sang the song I envisioned beautiful, sparkling scenes and vibed as I sang.

HUH YUNJIN: I love the city pop genre, and both the music and lyrics are wonderful.

The title song, “UNFORGIVEN (feat. Nile Rodgers, Ado) -Japanese ver.-” features the Japanese singer Ado. How did you feel when the decision was made to collaborate with her?

HONG EUNCHAE:  I knew that Ado was a very well-known artist, so I couldn’t believe it when I found out she’d be collaborating on one of our songs.

KAZUHA: Ado has a truly unique singing voice, so I was excited to hear how she’d sound on her collaboration with us.

HUH YUNJIN: It was so unexpected, I couldn’t believe it. I remember being impressed with what a wonderful artist Ado was the first time I heard her. I never expected to be able to work with her.

You started your first solo tour, 2023 LE SSERAFIM TOUR ‘FLAME RISES,’ with a performance in Seoul on August 12. In Japan, you played in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Osaka. Where did the “FLAME RISES” in the tour name come from?

SAKURA: It refers to us burning the path we walked behind us so there would be no going back, our only choice would be to keep going forward. It’s also because we wanted to put on a blazing hot show.

What has the response been like?

KIM CHAEWON: Even before we debuted, we had our eyes set on putting on concerts. I was so glad to be able to put on our first LE SSERAFIM tour. I’ve had a hard time even believing it. We’re making sure to take good care of our health, and hopefully we can bring the tour to a successful conclusion.

HUH YUNJIN: It’s been so fun. I’m so grateful that people have taken time out of their busy schedules to come see us. I want us to keep enjoying ourselves in our shows, staying healthy and putting on impressive performances.

Do you have any final message for our readers or your fans?

KIM CHAEWON:   I hope you put our second Japanese single, “UNFORGIVEN,” on heavy rotation, and if you come to one of our shows, I hope you have the time of your life.

SAKURA:  I’m so glad to be able to experience first-hand the love people feel for our music. We’re going to keep putting on great shows for the rest of this tour, and then achieve even further growth in preparation for our next tour, so we look forward to your ongoing support.

LE SSERAFIM's global tour, "Flame Rises," have been announced

Beginning in August, the girl group LE SSERAFIM will set out on their first-ever world tour, dubbed "Flame Rises."

LE SSERAFIM released the initial schedule for their 2023 tour on June 28 KST. The tour will begin on August 12 and 13 in Seoul. From August through October, the girls will make stops in Nagoya, Tokyo, Osaka, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Bangkok. Additional dates and cities will be revealed very soon.

Fans need not worry; HYBE Labels said early on that LE SSERAFIM will welcome them in 2023 with a globe tour that will take them through Asia, North America, Latin America, and Europe.

The world tour of girl group le sserafim will be held from august to october, according to a recent announcement.  .

At midnight on June 28, LE SSERAFIM posted a logo motion video of LE SSERAFIM Tour “FLAME RISES” on their official YouTube channel. 

On the same day, the Source Music girl group also revealed the touring destinations in a newly released poster. According to the poster, LE SSERAFIM will hold concerts in Seoul from August 12 to 13. They will go to meet fans in a total of seven cities, including Nagoya (August 23-24), Tokyo (August 30-31), Osaka (September 6-7), Hong Kong (September 30), Jakarta (October 3), and Bangkok (October 7-8).

In particular, this is LE SSERAFIM’s first world tour since the group’s debut, promising strong performances and positive energy through their stages.

LE SSERAFIM debuted in May last year by releasing their first mini-album “FEARLESS.” Since then, they have been making consecutive hits with their second mini album “ANTIFRAGILE” and first full-length album “UNFORGIVEN.”

LE SSERAFIM’s short dance challenges were particularly trendy on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Through these platforms, the girl group has amassed a considerable global fanbase. Fans are carrying high expectations about the performances LE SSERAFIM will bring to overseas stages. 

LE SSERAFIM will release further details of their first tour “FLAME RISES” on their social media and the fan-communication platform Weverse.

Girl group LE SSERAFIM expressed its thoughts on holding its first solo tour. LESSERAFIM's 2023 LESSERAFIM TOUR "FLAME RISES" IN SEOUL was held at Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium in Songpa-gu, Seoul, on the 13th. All members Sakura , Chaewon , Yunjin , Kazuha , and Eunchae were present for both two days of the concert. After finishing the intro stage, leader Chaewon stated the ment segment, "Welcome to the first tour." Yunjin said, "A lot of fans came today as well. I can't believe it. Thank you for coming," with the brightest smile that fans looked forward to always. Maknae Eunchae said, "Don't you think the cheers are louder than yesterday? As such, I'm looking forward to today's performance more!" Chaewon also expressed, "That's right. I think the cheers are louder than yesterday. We'll wrap up the last concert full of energy for the fans cheering for us. "Are the members ready to overflow with energy?" she stated, hyping up the crowd and members. "I will go to meet many people following yesterday. So I practiced hard for the concert. We prepared a performance full of the colors of LE SSERAFIM. Please look forward to it a lot," Eunchae said confidently. Yunjin added, "I said it yesterday, but I hope this goal will be evaluated as LE SSERAFIM should be seen in real life." The 'FLAME RISES' world tour will have 13 performances in 7 cities worldwide for over one year and three months, starting in Seoul (August 12-13) and ending in Bangkok (October 7-8). In 2022, LE SSERAFIM debuted with " FEARLESS ." Their latest album, " UNFORGIVEN ," was released on May 1, 2023.

Beloved K-pop Group Making U.S. Debut at Coachella—Is a World Tour Next?

Le Sserafim fans have been hoping for a world tour in 2024. The K-pop girl group already hit up several stops during the FLAME RISES tour in 2023, but it was mostly limited to countries in East Asia and Southeast Asia.

FLAME RISES started on August 12, 2023, in Seoul, South Korea, and ended on October 8 in Bangkok, Thailand. Given how limited the tour was in 2023, fans are now manifesting for Le Sserafim to perform in their countries.

Le Sserafim’s recent collaboration with Overwatch in “Perfect Night” currently has more than 60 million streams. Nile Rodgers produced UNFORGIVEN , which has more than 100 million views. Given their Billboard staying power, Le Sserafim is long overdue for a world tour.

Unfortunately, the Le Sserafim World Tour for 2024 hasn’t been announced or confirmed. Fans shouldn’t feel discouraged just yet, since the UNFORGIVEN album was just released and it’s a full-length LP. It’s possible that it will end up on a tracklist for their world tour. But luckily for fans in the U.S., Le Sserafim is performing at Coachella on April 13 and 20, 2024. It’s more than what Le Sserafim fans from the U.S. could ask for, since they will be the second girl group in history to perform at Coachella after Blackpink.

Exclusive le sserafim talks 1st coachella performance, connecting with fans on instagram and teases world tour.

With Coachella weekend one under their belt, LE SSERAFIM really is making it look “EASY.” The K-pop girl group spoke to J-14 exclusively ahead of their performance on Saturday, April 13, where they revealed which song they’re most excited to perform, teased an upcoming world tour and how they’re connecting with fans through Instagram during the music festival. Keep reading for J-14 ‘s exclusive interview with LE SSERAFIM.

LE SSERAFIM, which includes members Kim   Chaewon ,  Sakura ,  Huh Yunjin ,  Kazuha and Hong Eunchae , is the fastest Korean act to ever get a spot on the main Coachella calendar — a feat that the quintet still can’t really believe.

“It was surreal,” Chaewon said of the group’s reactions on first booking the famous festival. “At first, we thought someone was lying to us. Performing at Coachella had always been a big dream of ours, so hearing the news really blew our minds.”

For such an occasion, the girl group teamed up with Instagram to better connect with their fans (also known as FEARNOT) — helping to debut the social media app’s new Frames Sticker feature.

“For our first-ever Coachella performance, we want to bring our fans from all over the world together, so we’re debuting some never-before-seen Coachella content on Instagram using the new Frames Sticker,” Sakura told J-14 . “A big part of K-pop culture is sharing and exchanging photos, which is why we love the Frames Sticker because it turns your photos into a cute Polaroid.”

The band, who first debuted in 2022 under HYBE labels, is known for their high energy performances, girl power confidence and experimental musical style, that it’s hard for them to choose just one song to look forward to on their Coachella setlist. However, Yunjin says their finale song, “Fire in the Belly” from their 2023 UNFORGIVEN album, perfectly encapsulates the festival’s vibe.

“The festive vibe of the song really brings everyone together and is the perfect end to our set,” she explained of the track.

Yunjin, who grew up in upstate New York, has been making waves for her honest songwriting and impressive solo activities — most recently, releasing “Stupid In Love” with American singer-songwriter, MAX , just last month. That being said, can we expect a solo album from the K-pop star anytime soon?

“I’m always working on new music, so it would mean the world to me to be able to drop a solo album in the future,” Yunjin teased. “I’d like to focus on LE SSERAFIM for now though. In fact, our journey as a team is a huge inspiration for my songs.”

Not only that, the girls also revealed they’re excited to explore “diverse genres” for their next album.

“We love to explore diverse genres, so I’m sure we’ll be doing the same for our next album,” Kazuha revealed. “We always deliver our story through our music, and we try to incorporate the best genre to carry that story across. Stay tuned for our next albums!”

Prior to debuting with LE SSERAFIM, Kazuha was a professional ballerina who studied at several European ballet academies.

“There are times I miss ballet, but I am enjoying every day that I get to learn new things I can do in K-pop. We have incorporated some elements from ballet into our choreography which I love,” she explained, before revealing who out of LE SSERAFIM would make the best ballerina, besides herself: “I’d say Eunchae because she’s a quick learner.”

If you’re a FEARNOT (because, why wouldn’t you be?) there’s much to look forward to following the group’s wrap at Coachella — including a potential world tour.

“We are always preparing for the next,” Chaewon revealed of their plans for the next few years. “After Coachella, we are having a fan meet in Korea and Japan this summer, so we’re looking forward to meeting more FEARNOT, which is exciting. In the next year or two, we’ll bring a lot of new music and hopefully a world tour to meet everyone around the world and show who LE SSERAFIM are.”

LE SSERAFIM live at Coachella 2024: K-pop girl group get raw and loose

April 13, Indio, California: With the help of a live band – and a true legend – the five-piece bring out the festival energy in their determined tracks

“Everybody post us on your story,” Kim Chaewon grins. LE SSERAFIM ’s leader stands at the front of the Sahara stage, throwing up peace signs to the front of the crowd while she and her bandmates take a water break. We’re only three songs into the girl group’s debut Coachella appearance, but it’s already clear the festival airwaves are going to be jammed with fans trying to share footage of the moment once the set is over.

Ever since BLACKPINK were first booked to perform at Coachella in 2019, K-pop’s presence on the festival’s stages has slowly become the norm rather than an oddity. This year, LE SSERAFIM have set a new record, becoming the fastest-invited K-pop group to perform here, making their mark in the desert before their two-year anniversary. It’s a reflection of the impact the five-piece have already made on the music scene, carving out a space for themselves as a badass girl gang with a grungy edge.

That feeling shines through from the first moment of their set tonight (April 13). Joined by a live band, the members strut onto stage one by one to the grinding riffs of ‘Good Bones’, taking their individual moment in the spotlight but coming together as one powerful entity. As they launch into ‘Antifragile’, it’s clear they didn’t come to play – and that they get what the energy of a festival performance should be. The chorus lines become chanted boasts of the group’s toughness, their full-bodied shouts matching the crunch of their backing band and getting the crowd hyped up further.

Where K-pop can often be focused on pristine perfection, LE SSERAFIM’s set loosens things up and brings out a new rawness. The viral ‘Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s wife’ feels even more electrifying on this stage, its closing “ girls wanna have fun ” rally a call to arms the group immediately answers with the bright ‘Perfect Night’. ‘Smart’, meanwhile – preceded by Huh Yunjin cheekily asking the crowd: “Are you ready to shake some fucking ass?” – becomes even more irresistible, with pockets of the crowd break into groups performing their own takes on the hip-swinging choreography.

That looseness colours the attitude in LE SSERAFIM’s new song, ‘1-800-Hot-N-Fun’, which receives its premiere on the Sahara stage tonight. “ I like to dance when I party / I like to kiss everybody ,” the group sing over a surging, bass-y riff, the English-language song growing into a contender for the world’s new weekend anthem. It lives up to its title perfectly, its playfulness coming to a peak with the closing refrain “ 1-800-hot-n-fun, that’s my number / Hit my line ” a coquettish invitation.

Although the focus tonight is strictly on the girl group, they bring out one special guest for the performance. As they bring the spaghetti western ‘Unforgiven’ to life, Nile Rodgers – their collaborator on that track – quietly slots into the band behind them. It’s not until the group shout out his presence the crowd picks up on his presence, but when they do, he’s greeted with a roar befitting of such a legend.

It’s just one part of what makes this performance “a dream come true” for LE SSERAFIM, as Sakura describes it towards the end of their time on stage. Watching the group, you get the sense that, for the group, another big part of that feeling comes from being able to conquer Coachella with each other.

As they take a final bow, all stood in a line with hands clasped, they can’t help but show their excitement about what they’ve just done. Torsos still bent towards the floor, the five members giddily shake their still-interlocked hands, an action that wordlessly screams, “We did it”. If “it” is put on a fierce, fun performance that makes the Sahara stage their own, even if just for 40 minutes, then LE SSERAFIM certainly did.

ATEEZ: From Coachella to a World Tour across US and Europe

The group ATEEZ continues to heat up with their world tour in North America and Europe .

On the 23rd, ATEEZ announced through their official SNS that they would extend their 2024 world tour, “TOWARDS THE LIGHT: WILL TO POWER,” with performances in North America and Europe. This tour initially set sail in Seoul back in January.

According to their tour poster, ATEEZ is set to delight fans with performances across ten cities, starting in Tacoma, USA, in July and continuing through Oakland, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Arlington, Duluth, New York, Washington D.C., Toronto, and Rosemont.

Following their groundbreaking performance as the first K-pop boy group at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, ATEEZ hinted at their upcoming tour, promising to return to the U.S. during their Coachella set. Fans eagerly expressed their anticipation for ATEEZ’s imminent world tour, brimming with excitement for what’s to come.

ATEEZ’s North American tour will take them to various iconic venues, starting with the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma on July 14th (local time), followed by the Oakland Arena on the 17th, the Bank of California Stadium in Los Angeles on the 20th, the Footprint Center in Phoenix on the 25th, the Globe Life Field in Arlington on the 28th, and the Gas South Arena in Duluth on the 31st.

Their journey continues into August with stops at Citi Field in New York on the 3rd, Capital One Arena in Washington D.C on the 6th, Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on the 8th, and Allstate Arena in Rosemont on the 10th.
