We offer guaranteed entry to all marathons including the Abbott World Marathon Majors without the need for a qualifying time.

A new iconic course was set in 2018 and was an instant hit with all! Starting in Prospect Park, in Brooklyn, on Flatbush Avenue, you will head north before crossing over the Manhattan Bridge into lower Manhattan. Next, you will pass through the Lower East Side, before heading north on the FDR drive where you will be greeted with spectacular views of the Brooklyn and Queens skylines.  You will approach the halfway point near East 42nd Street, and pass the United Nations building, before taking a turn towards Grand Central Terminal and Bryant Park.  You will then head up Seventh Avenue before passing by 1000 children running through Times Square.  Finally you will enter Central Park, and head north to 102nd Street Cross Drive. The crowd support will be incredible, as you make your final turn south on West Drive, and finish in style in the heart of the city, Central Park.

The St Patrick’s day parade route:

The 2025 St Patrick day parade will start on 44th Street and Fifth Avenue at 11.00. The spectacle moves on through Fifth Avenue and past St. Patrick’s Cathedral, which is located on 50th Street. It then goes up to the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the American Irish Historical Society, and finally to 86th Street and Fifth Avenue, where the parade concludes at about 16:30 – 17:00.

After check in, you can head to the London Marathon Expo at the London Excel centre. It’s open until 20.00 today. At the Expo you will find all the latest exhibitions from the world of running and fitness. We operate a big stand at the London Marathon Expo. Come and meet us and most importantly, you can meet your fellow runners; with whom you are about to experience a race like no other!

If you didn’t get to the London Marathon Expo yesterday then you have the opportunity today. Please take note that the London Marathon will be busy today and the Expo closes at 17.00 today. Please arrive there before 16.00 to give you plenty of time to check out all the incredible exhibitions.

If you arrived, and visited the Expo yesterday, this afternoon you are free to discover the sights, sounds and exciting vibes of the City!

Today is the day you have spent months waiting and training for. The day of the London Marathon is finally here. After an early breakfast at the hotel, our coach,   for runners only, will leave at 07.00 am. Its destination is the start of the Marathon of a lifetime. Spectators will be able to ask the hotel based representative to recommend all of the best viewing points. After the Marathon, you can head back to the hotel (by your own means) for a well-earned celebratory drink.

Departure day

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and, depending on your onward travel, head out to enjoy the city.

Yes, we cater for solo travellers, we can offer single rooms or twin share rooms

On many of our travel packages we offer our free ‘Twin to Share’ service where you pay to share a room rather than the supplement for a single room. We encourage single travellers to join our tours and rooms for single occupancy are available on all our tours, but we also offer the opportunity to book our ‘Twin to Share’ service. This option which means that we pair you up with another athlete of the same sex so you can enjoy the event without having to pay the single occupancy supplement.

HBCU All-Stars Announce Its First International Tour To Paris With The All-Star Game's Alumni

Travis Williams continues to break new ground for HBCU basketball. Ten HBCU All-Stars alumni will embark on introducing HBCUs to an international audience with the first-ever HBCU All-Stars International Tour to Paris, France. The excursion begins Wednesday, June 19, to June 26, as several of the nation’s top HBCU All-Stars will participate.  

“This is one of the most important and rare moments in history where we get a once in a lifetime opportunity and global platform during the Olympic year in Paris to represent our esteemed HBCUs, four premier Black College conferences, the Best in Black College Basketball, and the United States of America in a part of the world where HBCUs and the HBCU culture do not exist,” Travis L. Williams, Founder and CEO, HBCU All Stars LLC said.

Alums from the 2022, 2023, and 2024 HBCU All-Star Games in New Orleans, Houston, and Phoenix will be partake in the Quai 54 World Streetball Championship at the prestigious Pierre de Coubertin Stadium. Celebrities and even NBA stars will travel overseas to enjoy the annual basketball tournament, which sold out in less than two hours.

“This is history in the making to host the first-ever HBCU All-Stars International Tour in Paris, one month before the 2024 Summer Olympics take place. The very deserving 10 players that have been selected from our 2022, 2023, and 2024 HBCU All-Star Games are playing professionally now in the NBA G-League, internationally overseas, and doing well in pursuing their goals, dreams, and aspirations of playing at the highest level in the NBA. They are truly excited to represent the HBCU All-Stars Basketball Movement, and the best in college basketball from our country’s most esteemed Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The legendary former HBCU coach Cy Alexander will serve as the Head Coach, bringing a wealth of valuable experience, knowledge, expertise, and respect.  

“Since October 2019, I have been working extremely hard through my sports marketing, events, and media company, HBCU All-Stars, LLC, to provide these amazing national and global opportunities for our proud and prestigious HBCUs, deserving student-athletes, and brilliant coaches across the country. This God-driven vision will provide exposure, access, recognition, and opportunities on a global platform in Paris against some of the top international teams competing in this event and in the friendly exhibition games. There were many outstanding players very deserving of this great honor and opportunity to play at the highest level and on the biggest international stage in Paris. 

“As always, I am just being obedient to this God-driven vision that was founded in 2019, and it has been a long journey and dream come true to get to this point in year three, especially after a very successful, sold-out HBCU All-Star Game in Phoenix during Final Four Weekend at Grand Canyon University.

We will continue honoring and celebrating the rich history, tradition, and contributions of HBCUs to the sport of college basketball. Now, we are taking the movement internationally to show the world that HBCUs have just as much talent, skills, knowledge, and abilities when provided with the same national and global spotlight. All we need is the same access, opportunities, exposure, and recognition,” said Williams.

With a mission to advocate, educate, expose, mentor, and invest in HBCU students, student-athletes, and coaches across the country, the event aims to showcase the “Best in Black College Basketball.”

L’ex-détenu en Iran, Louis Arnaud, est arrivé en France

Le Français était détenu en Iran depuis 2022, alors qu’un tour du monde l’avait emmené jusqu’en Iran.

Il est enfin rentré en France. L’ex-détenu en Iran Louis Arnaud a atterri ce jeudi matin. Après avoir serré la main du ministre des Affaires étrangères Stéphane Séjourné, présent au pied de la passerelle du petit avion qui l’a transporté à l’aéroport du Bourget, près de Paris, il a ensuite longuement serré dans ses bras son père, puis sa mère, venus l’y attendre. L’ex-otage n’est pas monté directement dans l’ambulance mise à disposition. Il s’est dirigé, visiblement fatigué mais souriant, bras dessus bras dessous avec ses proches, vers un salon, hors du champ des caméras.

Le président Emmanuel Macron avait annoncé sa libération mercredi , exhortant Téhéran à libérer « sans délai » les trois autres Français encore détenus dans ce pays. « Louis Arnaud est libre. Il sera demain en France après une trop longue incarcération en Iran », a annoncé le président dans un message posté sur X (anciennement Twitter). « Je remercie nos amis omanais et tous ceux qui ont œuvré à cette issue heureuse », a-t-il écrit.

Le trentenaire avait entamé un tour du monde en juillet 2022 qui l’avait mené jusqu’en Iran, « un pays qu’il rêvait de visiter depuis longtemps pour la richesse de son histoire et l’accueil de ses habitants », avait relaté sa mère Sylvie Arnaud il y a quelques mois.

Une condamnation jugée « inacceptable » par Paris

Le consultant avait été arrêté en septembre 2022 avec d’autres Européens accusés d’avoir participé aux manifestations après la mort de Mahsa Amini, une jeune Kurde iranienne décédée après son arrestation par la police des mœurs.

Ses compagnons de voyage avaient été assez vite libérés mais Louis Arnaud était resté en prison avant d’être condamné, en novembre dernier, à cinq ans de prison pour propagande et atteinte à la sécurité de l’Etat iranien. Sa condamnation avait été jugée « inacceptable » par Paris.

« Les accusations portées à son encontre, à savoir propagande et atteinte à la sécurité de l’Etat iranien, sont totalement infondées », ne cessait de marteler sa mère.

Les trois autres Français encore détenus dans les geôles iraniennes sont le couple Cécile Kohler et Jacques Paris, arrêtés en mai 2022, ainsi qu’un Français prénommé Olivier et dont le nom n’a pas été rendu public.

« Nous allons évidemment continuer nos efforts pour les trois Français qui restent incarcérés en Iran », a indiqué la source diplomatique.

Scottie Scheffler won The Masters, with a four-shot victory over Ludvig Åberg at Augusta National earning the world No 1 his second Green Jacket in three years.

At the PGA Championship in May, Xander Schauffele secured a maiden major victory, his dramatic one-shot win over Bryson DeChambeau creating golfing history as his 21-under score set a new 72-hole record in men's majors.

The next men's major is the US Open, at Pinehurst in North Carolina, from June 13-16.

Korda claimed the first women's major of the year, with victory at The Chevron Championship securing the American her fifth LPGA Tour triumph in a row, matching the records of Annika Sorenstam (2005) and Nancy Lopez (1978).
