Welcome to Holiday Trav-l-Park in Virginia Beach! Our sites, amenities and activities offer something for every person in the family along with every type of camper from tent to motorhome. On top of that, getting to the beach is a breeze – we are the closest campground to the resort area with a parking lot 1 block off the beach for our guests, take the seasonal city trolley or ride your bike to the beach.

Holiday Trav-L-Park is located in Virginia

Holiday Trav-L-Park 1075 General Booth Boulevard Virginia Beach, VA 23451 Via i-64 Take Exit 22 (Birdneck Road Exit) Turn right onto Birdneck Road and travel 3 miles to General Booth Blvd. Turn right on General Booth Boulevard. Holiday Trav-L-Park will be 0.2 miles on the right Via Bay Bridge Take the first exit (Route 60, Shore Dr.) at the south end of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel. Turn left to travel east on Shore Dr. Stay on this road for 15 miles - it will take you through residential areas, First Landing State Park and the resort area - changing names from Shore Dr to Atlantic Ave, to Pacific Ave and then after crossing the Rudee Inlet Bridge it will become General Booth Blvd. Continue another 1.5 miles form the bridge to the campground entrance on your right. This route can be congested in summer. For a potentially quicker route, use the cross-town route from an online map site.

Holiday Trav-L-Park Virginia Beach

Description.

Located just 1.5 miles from the oceanfront, the Holiday Trav-L Park offers 1000 campsites - approx. 300 full hook-up, 400 water and electric, 250 tent sites and 34 cabins. Our facilities include our beach parking, located 1 block off the beach with space for 180 vehicles, 6 playgrounds, 4 swimming pools, volleyball and basketball courts and much more. In season we offer entertainment such as music by our front pool, bingo and other family oriented activities. We are within walking distance of Ocean Breeze Festival Park, the Virginia Marine Science Museum and the Owl Creek Tennis Facility. Also nearby is Owl Creek Boat ramp with access out to the ocean.

“Drive slow. There are a ton of people at this campsite. ”

Overall I was pleased. I probably went at the most crowded time of year, Memorial Day Weekend. There are lots of people which could be good or bad. Meet 3 of our neighbors immediately. Very nice We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Travel Trailer.

Tribal Axe was very cool. All brands of restaurants nearby. Wawa gas station just outside the park....

“Great nature tall trees and spacious site! (Supersite)”

Very easy to check in! The gentleman was welcoming and we had selected a super site and it was wonderful! Plenty os space and real matures trees! I was skeptical about the 30amp plu so i called in We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Travel Trailer.

This campground is absolutely placed close to everything! Just one note be prepare to hear the Army Jets landing and flying out of the base near! But we appreciate it !...

I'm over it. They have no control anymore. It's a free-for-all. It used to be great. Time to find another local haunt that doesn't turn into a scene from Escape from New York every weekend. We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Travel Trailer.

“Great price and location”

Tight road network, great nightly rates, lots of trees and standing water. The cafe isnt open until June apparently, and the camp store doesnt have defined hours. The workers come and go as they We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Fifth Wheel.

I stayed here for work this week. Convenient in that regard. Plenty of food options in the area....

“Huge campground with tons of amenities”

There is over 700 campsites, but it feels more like a state park rather than a 'resort' due to all the trees, plants & grass etc. There is so much to do with all the pools, playgrounds & they even We camped at Holiday Trav-L-Park in a Motorhome.
