Day 1 : Ahmedabad - Kathgodam (By Train) - Almora

On arrival at Kathgodam railway station and then you will be driven to Almora . On arrival at Almora, check-in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day as you wish.

Day 2 : Almora Sightseeing

After breakfast, start your day exploring the wonderful sites of Almora like Nanda Devi Temple and Kasar Devi Temple . Then, visit Katarmal Surya Temple which is a very prominent sun temple in the country after the Konark Sun Temple in Orissa. The history of the temple dates back 800 years old. Day 3 : Almora - Binsar (60 KM)

Post breakfast, you will drive to Binsar just 30kms far away from Almora. It is located at an altitude of 2412mts high above the sea leveland offers fantastic views of the Himalayas. Not only the Himalayas but also other peaks such as Chaukhamba, Kedarnath, Nandakot, Nandadevu,Trishul, and Panchchulican be viewed from Binsar.

Post breakfast, visit Binsar’s famous temples Jageshwar and Kasar Devi temples .

After completing your breakfast, your drive to Kausani will start. It is a wonderful place located Northwest to Almora and it is also called as the “Switzerland of India” for its scenic beauty. Uttarakhand Tourism: उत्तराखंड में पर्यटन और तीर्थाटन को बढ़ावा देने के लिए उत्तराखंड पर्यटन विकास परिषद (UTDB) ने बदरीनाथ, केदारनाथ, कार्तिक स्वामी और योग नगरी ऋषिकेश की यात्रा के लिए विशेष पैकेज की घोषणा की है. इस पहल के तहत मुंबई से तीन अक्टूबर को 'बदरी-केदार, कार्तिक स्वामी एक्सप्रेस' ट्रेन चलाई जाएगी, जिससे श्रद्धालु और पर्यटक इन प्रमुख धार्मिक स्थलों का दर्शन कर सकेंगे.

परिषद के निदेशक सुमित पंत ने जानकारी दी कि पैकेज में श्रद्धालुओं की यात्रा को सुगम और सुविधाजनक बनाने के लिए विभिन्न सेवाएं शामिल की गई हैं. पैकेज में केदारनाथ के लिए हेली सेवा, ठहरने के लिए उचित व्यवस्था, भोजन और बस की सुविधाएं भी सम्मिलित की गई हैं. इस पहल का उद्देश्य अधिक से अधिक पर्यटकों को उत्तराखंड के पवित्र तीर्थ स्थलों की ओर आकर्षित करना है, जिससे राज्य के पर्यटन उद्योग को बढ़ावा मिल सके.

उत्तराखंड में पर्यटन को मिलेगा बढ़ावा इसके लिए विशेष ट्रेन मुंबई से ऋषिकेश तक चलाई जाएगी. जहां से पर्यटकों को बस के माध्यम से उक्त स्थलों तक ले जाएगा. केदारनाथ धाम के दर्शन के लिए पैकेज में केदारनाथ हेली सेवा का किराया शामिल है. स्टैंडर्ड श्रेणी के लिए प्रति यात्री 56,325 रुपये और डीलक्स श्रेणी के लिए 59,730 रुपये लिया जाएगा. 

पर्यटन विभाग की इस पहल को काफी अहम माना जा रहा है. इससे राज्य में पर्यटन और तीर्थाटन को बढ़ावा मिलेगा. बदरीनाथ और केदारनाथ धाम हिंदू धर्म के प्रमुख चार धामों में से हैं. जहां प्रतिवर्ष लाखों श्रद्धालु आते हैं. हालांकि, सरकार द्वारा दी गई इस नई यात्रा योजना के तहत श्रद्धालुओं को और भी सुगम यात्रा का अनुभव मिलेगा। साथ ही, राज्य की धार्मिक और सांस्कृतिक धरोहर को बढ़ावा मिलेगा.
