No. Our cruise package does not include a tour guide. However, if you want to book a tour guide, send us your request and we will assist you with the service.

Are all meals included in the package?

Cruise packages include hotel accommodation with daily breakfast and all meals on the cruise (1 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner for 2 day 1 night cruise and 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, 2 dinners for 3 day 2 night cruise). The surcharge will be applied if you want to book lunch and dinner in the hotel. Please contact our consultant for the quote and detailed information.

Can we book the combo for cruise first and hotel later? We would like to go directly from the airport to the cruise pier.

Yes. You can book the combo with cruise first and hotel later. However, there is no direct cruise bus from the airport to the cruise pier. If you go from the airport, we can arrange a private car from there to the cruise port and you can use the cruise bus on the way back to Hanoi. The fee will be adjusted a bit so don't hesitate to get in touch with our consultant for the best support.

Can we stay only 1 night in the hotel and 2 nights on the cruise? Do you drop us off at Noi Bai Airport after the cruise?

Sure. You can adjust your stay in the hotel and on the cruise. However, the price of hotel and cruise are different, so there will be a change in the total cost. For the drop-off service, all shuttle buses just drop guests off in the center of Hanoi which is around 30 km from the airport. Therefore, if you want to be dropped off at Noi Bai Airport after the cruise, you can book a private car or come back to central Hanoi by bus and then transfer to another vehicle to go to the airport.

Do i need a visa to travel to the halong bay.

You do need a visa to enter Vietnam. Subject to your nationality and having the requisite forms filled in in advance and “approval letter” issued, you may be able to obtain an e-Visa or visa on arrival. Your passport will need to have more than 6 months to expiry date left in order to get a visa.

Please note that the e-Visa and visa on arrival are not valid if you are entering the country by river cruise from Cambodia – in this case you need to have the visa stamped in your passport before travel.

Do I Need To Get Any Vaccinations Or Malaria Tablets Ahead Of Travel?

You should be vaccinated against typhoid and hepatitis A. Depending on where you are staying, you may also need to be vaccinated against Japanese encephalitis, hepatitis B, or rabies. Be sure to see your doctor about a month before your trip for the latest recommendations and requirements.

Some doctors recommend that visitors start taking malaria tablets before entering Vietnam, but it is not a very common practice.

Day 2: Hanoi - Bai Binh - Trang An Scenic Complex - Cycling tour (B, L, D)

7:30 - 8:00:  The tour guide will pick you up at the hotel to move to Ninh Binh province which is around 110km to the south.

10:00: Arrive in Bai Dinh pagoda. This pagoda possesses the two biggest bells in Southeast Asia which are 36 and 27 tons.

12:00: You will have lunch at a restaurant, sampling goat meat.

13:30: The driver will transfer you to the new Trang An Scenic Complex with wonderful natural scenery. You will get on a rowing boat passing mysterious caves namely Lam cave, Vang cave, and Thanh Truot cave.

15:15: Continue to transfer to Mua cave.

15:30: You will climb hundreds of steps to the top of Mua cave and Ngoa Long peak to admire the panoramic view of the paddy fields and Ninh Binh city.

17:00: Return to Hanoi.

19:30: Arrive in Hanoi. You will check in at the hotel and then have free time to walk around the streets. Overnight in Hanoi Old Quarter.

Day 3: Hanoi - Halong Bay - Halong Day Cruise (B, L)

8:00 - 9:00: After breakfast at the hotel, you will be picked up to transfer to Halong following 5B Highway Hai Phong - Halong.

12:00: Arrive in Tuan Chau Harbor. The day boat will take you on a 6-hour itinerary exploring Halong Bay. You will have a chance to take photos of beautiful limestone karts and rock formations like Fighting Cock Islet, Cho Da Islet. Lunch is served on the boat.

14:00: You approach Bo Hon Island where you will discover Sung Sot cave - one of the most beautiful caves in Halong Bay. Next, you will do kayaking in Luon Cave for 30 minutes before returning back to the boat.

- It takes about 2-4 hours from Hanoi city to cruise dock in Halong Bay( depends on traffic or shuttle bus services) . Basically, travelers always stay one night in Hanoi before then get pick up in the next morning.

- Stay in Hanoi's old quarter area , we supply free shuttle bus around this area and pick up time estimate 08:00am-09:30am. You have to pay fees for luxurious limousine services if you book some luxurious cruises. If you do not stay  in Hanoi's old quarter area , we always give you tips to get to the right place to this area and get pick up easily.

- If you stay in Hai Phong city , Tam Coc - Ninh Binh ,  Sapa ,  please text us via WhatsApp/Telegram/Zalo+84-353-432-432 to book extra service for transfer to cruise dock in Halong city.

- If you stay in Da Nang , Hoi An , Nha Trang , Ho Chi Minh city or others in the south of Vietnam, please book your flight/train because these places are quite far from Halong city. You can book your flights to Noi Bai airport - Hanoi , or Cat Bi airport - Hai phong city (It is only 30-40mins from Cat Bi airport - Hai phong city to cruise dock) and we can arrange car for you from airport to cruise dock.
