PAL releases newest travel protocol for US-bound pax
US-bound passengers are required to be fully vaccinated and must present proof of vaccination, as well as negative RT-PCR test results, the
Philippine Airlines (PAL) said.
PAL said its newest travel protocol for passengers bound for the United States of America, effective Dec. 8, 2021, is based on the US Center of Disease Control Amended order.
To be allowed to board a US flight, passengers must be fully vaccinated and present a recognized proof of vaccination, as well as a negative RT-PCR or Antigen Covid 19 test result taken within one calendar day before departure, PAL said.
They should also download and print the Attestation Form of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
Passengers are required to sign the form upon check-in at the airport.
In addition, passengers should fill up the Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BOI) declaration form, as well as other related forms, such as the Los Angeles Travel form and the Guam E-declaration and vaccination forms of their specific destination states.
On top of these requirements, they should register 24 hours before departure and accomplish the PAL information form.
Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers who are non-US citizens and non-immigrants are not allowed to board PAL's US flights, unless they are exempted under the proclamation and CDC's order.
For US citizens and US immigrants, negative Covid 19 test results should be taken no more than one day before departure.
Travelers recovered from Covid 19 should present a Documentation of Recovery, a positive test result over the past 90 days, plus a signed letter from a licensed health care provider stating that the passenger has been cleared from Covid 19 and met the criteria to end his isolation.
