Taylor Swift is bringing her acclaimed Eras Tour to Sydney this February. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the mega concerts in Sydney.

Ria Lawrence

Calling all Swifties! Taylor Swift’s mega stadium tour is finally coming to Australia this February . The massive Eras Tour has already enchanted Melbourne and now heads to Sydney for an impressive 4 consecutive nights respectively. Whether you were one of The Lucky Ones to get tickets or you got snubbed by the Ticketek debacle, here’s everything you need to know ahead of the tour including outfit ideas , where to score merchandise and other fun activities taking over the city.

Table Of Contents

Dates and timings

Eras tour merch, what to wear, things to do around sydney for taylor swift fans.

Swift has concluded her Melbourne dates, so now it’s Sydney ‘s turn (she’s already in town, having been spotted at Surry Hills restaurant Pellegrino 2000 ). The tour is open to all age groups but attendees below the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. The dates and timings are as follows:

Friday, February 23 Saturday, February 24 Sunday, February 25 and Monday, February 26 at the Accor Stadium . Take a peek at the venue map here .

The pop star is set to dazzle with a huge 3-hour, 44-song setlist and even the most diehard Swiftie will likely need to brush up on their lyrics ahead of the show. The Cruel Summer singer will perform songs from all her albums across her career including Lover, Fearless, Evermore, Reputation, Speak Now, Red, Folklore, 1989 and her latest Midnights , she will be supported by Sabrina Carpenter in Australia.

While the setlist remains fairly certain, the singer is known to throw in a surprise song during her show. So far these have included Mirrorball ,  State of Grace, Dear John  and  Snow on the Beach.

Regular fixtures on the setlist include Cruel Summer, Champagne Problems, Look What You Made Me Do, Enchanted, All Too Well, Cardigan, Shake it Off and Bejeweled .

Check out the full setlist here .

The tour promises a once-in-a-lifetime experience so it’s only fair to have a souvenir to remember it by, whether you managed to score some tickets or unfortunately missed out.

Luckily for fans, there are multiple opportunities to score some exclusive Tay-Tay merch and take your concert experience to new heights. Sydney’s Accor Stadium merchandise sales will happen from on February 21 and 22 from 10am to 6pm, then from 12pm during the show dates. No reservation is needed to pick up merchandise from Accor Stadium or the MCG.

If you’ve already spent hundreds trying to nab tickets, you won’t want to attend the concert in your basic beige outfit. Cowboy boots, sequins, and head-to-toe glitter are all staples. Here are some outfit ideas for the big day. (Spoiler: You can’t go wrong with the Lover outfits.)

If you’re a fan of the Speak Now or Fearless era , you’ll want to dig out your cowboy boots and frilly dress, princessy flowy gowns, gold sequins, fringe and cutesy babydoll dresses. You can’t go wrong with the colour purple and tulle for Speak Now. For Folklore and Evermore lovers (It’s me, hi), plaid check clothes, oversized flannel, earthy colours and whimsical, flowy dresses are the way to go.

Reputation fans will want to lean into the all-black aesthetic with snakes, leather and mesh details, graphic tees and a little bit of punk, a smokey eye won’t hurt. The Lover era might be the most fun in terms of outfit ideas with candy colours, pink sparkly outfits and bedazzled sunglasses. Don’t forget the face glitter and heart shaped earrings. Shake it Off with your prettiest sequins and skirts for 1989 and bling out for Midnights to your heart’s content.

Well, your prayers may have been answered, with even more tickets to the Melbourne leg of the Eras Tour available at 4pm, Thursday 15 February. For those who miss out, there’s also resale opportunities to secure tickets to one of the Eras Tour shows in Australia. But, as we saw overseas, getting Eras Tour tickets has been a bit of a struggle for everyone. Issues with ticketing sites, opportunistic scalpers and the sheer competition among fans meant many missed out, so there’s a lot of people holding onto hope for resale tickets.

So, as we anxiously wait for more tickets to be offered up, we’re trying to be as prepped as possible. Here’s some precious intel that will help you get tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour .

When Will Resale Tickets For The Eras Tour Be Available?

If you didn’t manage to get tickets the first time round then there’s still a chance you might secure those seats. Resale is now available for anyone with a Ticketek account through TMarketplace.

It will allow anyone with tickets to list theirs on the platform, available to be sold at up to 10 per cent more to someone else. When they’re resold, a new barcode is issued so that the original owner of the tickets can no longer attend the Eras Tour.

There are other third-party sites that will be selling tickets, but Ticketek warns any ticket not sold through TMarketplace could be at risk of cancellation, with the ticket price refunded to the original seller.

The resale platform will be open from now until closer to the concert, allowing fans lots of time to list their tickets if their plans change.

How To Get Tickets To Taylor Swift

Tickets for the Eras Tour went on sale across a series of drops.

AMEX Presale

The first pre-sale tickets were offered to American Express credit card holders, who could purchase tickets from June 26.

Frontier Touring Presale

The pre-sale, courtesy of Taylor’s Australian tour promoters, Frontier Touring was available on June 28.

General Sale

The general sale of tickets started on June 30.

The resale date for the Eras Tour ticket resale was moved back from September 4 to November 24.

From November 24, tickets are on sale from 10am on the TMarketplace. This is the only official place to buy tickets and any tickets purchased on other platforms are at risk of being cancelled by the ticketing company – in an effort to avoid scalping.

Tickets will not be able to be sold for more than 10 per cent of their value.

Additional tickets, including partially obstructed side-view seats have already been released, so it’s unlikely we’ll see another round of additional seating.

What Are The Best & Worst Seats For Taylor Swift’s Australian Eras Tour?

Swifties know everything (fact) and some beautifully generous fans are sharing some precious first-hand info about the best seats on the Eras Tour.

Those who have attended shows along Swift’s US tour have taken to TikTok to share the view from their respective seats, providing precious insight into what kind of view you’ll get, from where.

Both Australian arenas — like her international shows — have a similar layout and stage design, with an aisle and diamond-shaped platform protruding into the floor section.

You can also see where sound stages or other potential obstructions are on the floor (those are the greyed or blacked-out sections).

The Best Seats For Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Let’s take this per section…

Floor Seating, A-Reserve

Floor seating is, of course, allocated. There will be no rushing the stage or camping out for a front row position. You’ll have to duke it out with everyone else online.

If you’re towards the front of the floor sections (closer to the stage) you’ll be winning… But not all floor seating is created equal (more on that below).

It should be said, that floor seating is often about the vibe more than anything else.

The ‘lower bowl’ sections, i.e. the elevated seating around the sides is reportedly stellar, and superior to many floor section seats.

if you can get to the sides of the ‘diamond stage’ section, you will be loving life!

Here’s one such view …

The Worst Seats For Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour

Floor Seating

We’ve been through the pros of floor seating at the Eras Tour, but there have been many reports that you can’t see anything from the back of the floor sections. This could potentially include parts of B, C (outer), D & E floor sections, which is something to be mindful of for the cost.

Views can be obscured by people standing in front of you, and may be particularly tricky if you’re bringing along kids or anyone with a height disadvantage in the context.

Obstructed view

Of course, it’s wise to be wary of any tickets that come with an ‘obstructed view’ warning. However, here ‘s one such example from the US tour and, as you can see, the view wasn’t really ‘obstructed’ at all. (Watch below)

Nosebleed section

Again, this depends on how you define ‘bad’. It’s long been known that the nosebleed section is the furthest away from the action, and it’s the reason why it’s so cheap. However, for many, the price will be unbeatable (G-Reserve starts from $79.90, compared to $379.90 for A-Reserve). You’ll still be there at Taylor Swift’s record-breaking Eras Tour — enjoy the ride!

As they say, there are no bad seats at the Eras Tour.

The singer’s highly-anticipated Eras Tour proved itself beyond worthy of the hype. By Dani Maher

eras tour sydney seat map

THOUGH WARNINGS OF “inclement weather” threatened, there was no stopping Taylor Swift as she embarked on the Eras Tour’s latest stop, taking to Sydney’s Accor Stadium for the first of a record-breaking four-show stint last night.

At this point — 60-plus concerts in, and counting — everyone knows of the Eras Tour : It’s a global phenomenon. We’ve seen clips on Instagram and TikTok ; seen photos of each dazzling custom look Swift wears throughout the performances and the ways those have been replicated by dedicated fans ; and heard rave reviews from critics, audiences and celebrity attendees alike. There’s not much mystery to the show — aside from the surprise section, in which Swift chooses two (or more) additional songs from her discography at each show to play in an acoustic set. Yet each time Swift takes to the stage, fans are captivated, gripped with fervour, enthralled by every move and note.

I’ve been to a number of seared-into-my-memory, amazing concerts throughout my life, from arena spectacles to sweaty gigs in dingy pubs. I’ve experienced — and yes, been part of — fandoms who treat such concerts as a religious experience. But as prepared as I was for it, the Eras Tour still blew me away.

eras tour sydney seat map

It’s the kind of event which can’t be contained by the confines of a stadium. There’s a palpable energy that spills outwards, as far as the trains coming from all directions in Sydney, carrying tens of thousands of fans dressed in their finest Eras recreations — gold fringed minidresses à la Fearless , bedazzled Lover bodysuits, floaty dresses that recall the cottagecore vibes of Folklore and Evermore , all-black looks in the vein of Reputation . Cowboy boots stomp the floors en masse, in every variety imaginable (Black! Red! Silver! Gold! Bedazzled!).

Inside the stadium, the excitement builds ever higher. As my friend and I find our seats, a young woman sitting behind us with her father, with whom she’s been going to concerts since she was eight, gives us a friendship bracelet each when she sees our bare wrists. A young girl next to her, sitting with her mum, shyly but earnestly offers us one each of hers, too, insisting she doesn’t want anything in return. En route through the stadium, another woman compliments my outfit, and every time my friend walks past someone wearing the same Fearless -inspired dress as her, they point at each other excitedly. Everywhere, there’s strangers swapping bracelets and telling each other they’re beautiful. The whole thing has that same air of uplifting excitement as I felt as a teenager getting ready to go out with my friends, trading clothes, helping each other with our makeup, showering each other with compliments. If that’s not girlhood, what is?

Swift moves on the stage with a CONFIDENCE and CHARISMA that’s as SPELLBINDING as her voice

When Swift takes to the stage — miraculously on time, despite opener Sabrina Carpenter having missed her slot as audiences were told to take shelter amid dangerous weather warnings earlier in the evening — the energy seems to crackle, even in the absence of the lightning that was forecasted.

What follows is surreal for anyone who’s been listening to Swift throughout her career, and mind-blowing even for the tag-along partners and parents. (An elderly man sitting in front of me films on his phone, awed, even making the effort to get on his feet, cane in hand, for as much of the concert as he can.)

eras tour sydney seat map

The Eras Tour is an extravaganza, and Swift our seasoned host. She moves on the stage with a confidence and charisma that’s as spellbinding as her voice is, with its power to belt out catchy bridges as easily as it can soften to a mournful croon. As she moves from era to era, Swift chats to the audience with a casual friendliness, praising us for our enthusiasm, making us feel as though we’re the first crowd treated to such generosity: “We might have a bit of a weather situation, with a bit of rain, but I’ve never seen an Aussie crowd let anything get in the way of having a good time. Sydney , you’re making me feel absolutely phenomenal right now.”

You wouldn’t think she’s dozens of shows in — she approaches each song with as much energy as the audience offers her in return, and with a genuine, heartfelt gratitude and graciousness. She’s in her element on stage, reliving the highlights reel of her career thus far and taking all of us along the journey — at times poignant, joyful, tender, or in the case of the Evermore section, downright witchy. Even in the show’s slower segments, it’s hard to tear yourself away, or convince yourself to take a seat even for a moment.

Swift knows precisely how each song is best appreciated, whether that’s accompanied by a crowd of back-up dancers for the more upbeat tunes, like “22,” or stripped back and nearly bare, allowing the music to shine for what it is. The latter is the case during the 10-minute version of “All Too Well,” which she sings from a raised platform in its entirety, a singular point for us to focus in on for the full emotional journey. It’s just Swift and her guitar on the podium, but every one of us is right there with her for every beat, singing along to the sermon and feeling every gut-wrenching bit of rageful pain.

eras tour sydney seat map

While each era has its moment — no song feeling out of place thanks to Swift’s earnest performances, from the almost-cheesy boppy likes of “You Need to Calm Down” and “Shake It Off” to the hymn-like ballads of “My Tears Ricochet” and “Tolerate It” — there’s an undeniable highlight of the evening. It occurs during the acoustic surprise song section, when Swift sits at her piano and invites her would-be opener Sabrina Carpenter to join her, to rectify the “crime against Sydney” that was her cancelled set.

As they softly croon a duet rendition of “White Horse,” from Swift’s breakout album Fearless , it’s pure magic: Carpenter’s deep huskiness a warm dose of heady emotion alongside Swift’s sparkling clarity. When the song melts smoothly into a mash-up with Evermore ‘s “Coney Island,” the audience collectively gasps and screams in appreciation. It’s moments like these that work towards that feeling Swift is so adept at evoking in her fans: A sense that it’s just us, here in this space together, feeling these emotions uniquely but collectively as though for the first time.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Harper's BAZAAR Australia (@bazaaraustralia)

The concert comes to a triumphant end with the Midnights era, Swift and her dancers a blur of rainbow tinsel onstage as they take their victory lap with “Karma” — Swift paying homage to a beaming Travis Kelce , who flew into the city a day earlier to join her on tour, when she again switches the lyrics in the bridge to nod to her “ guy on the Chiefs “.

It’s hard to FEEL anything OTHER than ELECTRIFIED and ECSTATIC

As the confetti settles onto the ground and Swift says her goodbyes, the post-concert depression isn’t instant, as it can often be. It’s hard to feel anything other than electrified and ecstatic, a sentiment that’s only heightened as you shuffle out with sore feet alongside other fans, all of whom are still trading friendship bracelets and already reliving their favourite moments, as they likely will for weeks and months and years to come.

It’s the kind of concert you know you’ll remember, not only for the immense prowess of Swift herself, but for the community she has brought together: People of all ages and backgrounds, unified through music, strengthened through the kindness they’ve been encouraged to show each other. It’s a cathartic triumph of girlhood and pure fun, and for that, Swift is worthy of every bit of the praise she has received — and will undoubtedly continue to receive, as she embarks on the tour’s next 90-odd shows.

  • Melbourne MCG: Friday, 16 February 2024
  • Melbourne MCG: Saturday, 17 February 2024
  • Sydney Accor Arena: Friday, 23 February 2024
  • Sydney Accor Arena: Saturday, 24 February 2024
  • Sydney Accor Arena: Sunday, 25 February 2023

At this point, Taylor has only announced concert dates in Melbourne and Sydney. We’ll keep you posted if she announces additional dates in other cities. Fingers crossed!

Yup. You’ll only be able to buy four tickets per purchaser – so if you need more, you might need to go in groups.

Taylor Swift, The Eras Tour - Glendale, Arizona

There’s a high likelihood that tickets will sell out fast, so you’ll need to get in quickly. Here are some tips on how to give yourself the best chance at buying Taylor Swift tickets.

Things to do before tickets go on sale:

  • Create a Ticketek account: Ensure you already have an account with Ticketek .
  • Have your logins ready: Make sure you know your login details (username and password) so you can log in to your Ticketek account as quickly as possible on the day. If you plan to buy tickets via Frontier Touring or AMEX presales , ensure you’ve got those account login details ready too.
  • Have the money ready in your bank account: Make sure you have the right amount of money in your bank account before tickets officially go on sale.
  • Use ApplePay & pre-fill data: If you’re using your own personal (and secure) device to buy the tickets, then it might pay to have your bank details pre-filled on your device or use ApplePay (or a similar alternative like PayPal) to save time at the checkout.
  • Decide where you want to sit: While there’s no guarantee that you’ll get the seats you want, it’s a good idea to work out in advance roughly where you’d like to sit and how much money you’re willing to spend on tickets.

Ticket scalping and purchasing resale tickets

Do not purchase tickets from anywhere other than the official ticketing agency.

Please read the  Live Performance Australia Safe Tix Guide .

We have not allocated any tickets for the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour to unauthorised resellers (which include but are not limited to Viagogo; Stubhub; Ticketfinders; The Ticket Merchant; Worldticketshop; and Tixel).

We cannot guarantee any ticket purchased through unauthorised resellers or via websites such as eBay, Gumtree and social media Buy Swap Sell pages. To make sure you pay the correct ticket price and receive valid tickets, you must purchase via Ticketek Australia.

Frontier and Ticketek are not responsible for unauthorised ticket disputes and are unable to assist you if you purchase outside the official ticketing agency (Ticketek Australia).

What is unethical secondary ticketing and ticket resale?

Unethical secondary ticketing is when people buy tickets at face value and then resell them at inflated prices via unapproved methods and websites, thus denying real fans the chance to buy at face value.

This includes ticket touts and unauthorised resellers who use multiple payment cards, false identities and sophisticated computer programmes (‘bots’) to buy up large amounts of tickets which they then offer for resale at highly inflated prices.

How do I safely sell my tickets?

The reselling of any Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour ticket is strictly forbidden other than through Ticketek's official resale platform (called Ticketek Marketplace). Ticketek Marketplace is accessible HERE .

Ticketek Marketplace opened for the listing and resale of tickets at 10am AEDT on Friday 24 November 2023 and is available up until12pm AEDT on the show date for all tickets except VIP Packages and Hotel + Ticket Packages.

What else are you doing to combat the secondary market?

Your mobile phone number is linked to your ticket order. Your tickets are linked to both your Ticketek account AND your mobile phone number. This means your ticket and the individual information you gave when you purchased your ticket are linked. If a ticket is resold in any method other than via Ticketek's official resale platform, then the mobile phone number will not be linked to the ticket(s) and you will be refused entry to the venue.

What do I do if I get to the venue and believe I have purchased a fraudulent ticket?

If you have purchased tickets from anywhere other than the authorised ticketing agency, Ticketek, or their resale platform, Ticketek Marketplace, you risk not being granted entry to the venue. If you have any issues with your ticket on show day, please head directly to the venue Box Office. Please note, Box Office staff cannot assist those who may have obtained tickets through channels other than Ticketek or Ticketek Marketplace. You must have valid photo ID which matches the name of the Ticketek account for the Box Office staff to be able to assist you.

Melbourne Cricket Ground’s Box Office can be found at Gate 3 on the Northern side of the ground and at Gate 6 on the Shane Warne Stand side.

Accor Stadium’s Box Office can be found at Gates A/B and Gates J/K.

Please note Frontier and Ticketek are not responsible for unauthorised ticket disputes and are unable to assist you if you have purchased tickets outside the official ticketing agency (Ticketek Australia).

How Many Taylor Swift Tickets Are *Actually* Available In Ticketek’s Eras Tour Second Release?

eras tour sydney seat map

Laura Masia

Ticketek announced the good news on Thursday morning, prompting hoards of Swifties who missed out on the original batch of ticket sales to get ready for battle against the blue line on the Ticketek loading screen. The thing is, in the announcement, Ticketek said that there would be “limited tickets including partially-obstructed side view tickets” available.

Considering how bloody difficult it was to get tix last time due to the high demand — and how many people ended up missing out — fans are wondering how many tickets are actually going to be available and what their chances of basking in Taylor’s glory IRL really are.

We reached out to Frontier Touring — the company responsible for ticket allocation — but sadly a representative said that they were unable to share the exact numbers. So, let’s have a big think about what we’re in for.

Accor Stadium in Sydney seats a maximum of 83,500 people and the MCG in Melbourne seats 100,024. Taylor is performing seven shows during her time Down Under, three in Melbourne and four in Sydney.

It’s unlikely that they’re selling that many tix for the shows but judging by the maps below, it seems like most of the ticket allocation was already gobbled up in the previous sales back in June.

This time around, we only have a teeny-tiny slice of the pie, as shown in the the stadium maps below.

For Accor Stadium, it’s C Reserve View (orange), F Reserve Side View (olive green) and G Reserve Side View (warm yellow).

eras tour sydney seat map

At the MCG, there are four partially obstructed sections: D Reserve Side View (pastel blue), E Reserve Side View (pastel purple), F Reserve Side View Particularly Obstructed (pastel green) and G Reserve Side view (lime green).

So, using my guessing abilities and my terrible math skills, I reckon we’re all going to be clambering over a few thousand tickets so godspeed and good luck to all of my Swiftie pals.

Taylor Swift Eras tour general sale starts today. Here's what you need to know to grab your ticket

Taylor swift in a gold body suit singing into a microphone with a male dancer behind her

It's the final countdown, Swifties.

Today is the day that Eras tour tickets go on general sale.

Two more Australian shows were announced yesterday, one in Sydney and one in Melbourne.

Ticketek reported that more than  4 million people tried to buy a limited amount of tickets on Wednesday's pre-sale.

Both the Sydney and Melbourne pre-sale tickets sold out within hours.

Which is to say, a lot of people from all around Australia and possibly overseas are going to be logging onto Ticketek today to try their chances.

Here's what you need to know.

What time do Taylor Swift tickets go on sale?

Tickets to Sydney will go on sale at 10am AEST today .

Melbourne will go on sale at 2pm AEST today .

When are the new Taylor Swift Australian tour dates?

Melbourne — melbourne cricket ground (mcg):.

Friday, February 16

Saturday, February 17

Sunday, February 18 (new)

Sydney — Accor Stadium:

Friday, February 23

Saturday, February 24

Sunday, February 25

Monday, February 26 (new)

What are the seating maps for Taylor Swift's Sydney and Melbourne shows?

Here are both the seating maps for Taylor Swift's Australian Eras tour.

The small strips of light green in Melbourne and yellow in Sydney are the affordable G reserve tickets while most of the stadiums consist of D reserve tickets ($199.99) and above.

Sydney – Accor Stadium

How much are Taylor Swift tickets?

There are five tiers of tickets for both Sydney and Melbourne, ranging from $79.90 for G reserve tickets to $379.90 for A reserve tickets.

Each ticketing tier also has a corresponding VIP package that contain a ticket ranging from A reserve to E reserve as well as four prints of the artist, a tote bag, a pin, a tour lanyard and a sticker and postcard set.

These VIP packages scale in price from $349.99 to $1249.90 .

How many Taylor Swift tickets are left?

We're don't know exactly how many tickets are still available.

But we can estimate how many tickets there were to begin with.

The Australian Bureau of Statistics estimated on Tuesday there will be about 450,500 tickets sold — that's only enough for 1.7 per cent of Australia's population.

But considering the two extra shows added and that MCG has a capacity of 100,000 people and the Accor Stadium can hold 83,500 people, it's reasonable to assume that over 600,000 tickets will be sold across all dates.

Is it better to get in the queue early?

You might be ready to go hours before the ticket hub opens but Ticketek says there's no reason to log on early.

That's because their queue isn't applied in chronological order, it's random.

"The randomisation starts once the on-sale commences, so there is no advantage for fans to jump on hours before," a Ticketek spokesperson confirmed to ABC News.

"We recommend that fans log on 15 minutes earlier just so they are ready once the on-sale kicks off."

"Everyone in the Ticketek lounge has as equal opportunity to get into the site regardless of when they have arrived.”

What are Ticketek's tips to getting a Taylor Swift ticket?

On Monday afternoon, Ticketek shared the best way to get a golden ticket.

Here's the advice:

  • Have your Frontier Pre-sale code ready
  • Enter the Ticketek Lounge at least 15 minutes before the sale starts
  • Don't refresh your browser
  • Once you're through, keep an eye on the countdown timer and fill out the details within the time frame.

How many tickets can you buy?

There's a limit of four per customer .

If you want to buy more than four, you have to order with a different Ticketek account as well as a different debit card.

The company says it may cancel tickets for people who are detected as buying more than four with the same email address, billing address, credit card number or other information.

Is there going to be an official Taylor Swift resale?

The official Ticketek resale on their secondary platform Tmarketplace is the only place to get a guaranteed resale ticket .

Ticketek has warned that they will be cancelling and refunding tickets sold on illegitimate third party sites.

The Ticketek Taylor Swift resale will open on Monday September 4 .

Eras already a boom to tourism

Sydneysiders and Melburnians aren't the only ones trying to get their hands on Eras tickets.

A major hotel chain reported a 1129 per cent increase in Sydney bookings after the tour was announced.

The same chain reported a 9400 per cent increase in Melbourne hotel bookings after the tour was announced.

And it's not just hotels that are set for a revenue spike.

Earlier in the month Webjet reported a spike in searches for flights around the Eras tour dates, a 282 per cent increase for Sydney and a 151 per cent increase in Melbourne.

Taylor Swift Has Bad Blood With Some Celebs (And They Didn't Get VIP Seating At Eras)

  • Taylor Swift welcomed many celebrities into her VIP tent during the Eras tour, but not everyone made the cut.
  • Celebrities like Karlie Kloss, Meghan Markle, Sydney Sweeney, and Machine Gun Kelly had box seats or even general admission tickets to Eras.
  • Taylor Swift may not have had bad blood with all the celebs who didn't make it into the VIP tent.

Taylor Swift 's Eras Tour has been one of the hottest events to get tickets to before the concerts even began. Those who are fans of the woman with a $1+ billion net worth knew how difficult it was to secure a ticket, especially with the scandal from Ticketmaster who sold the tickets for the Eras Tour , making it even harder still to get a seat.

Add in the prices that after-market ticket brokers were charging for tickets, which in some cases turned out to be fraudulent tickets for the Eras Tour , it seemed like a near-impossible feat to be one of the lucky few to see Swift live in concert.

Taylor Swift's Diet And Training For The Eras Tour Wasn't Perfect, According To A Fitness Expert

Even celebrities were not immune to issues with tickets. However, their situation was slightly different. This is because there were a select number of celebrities who were allowed in the VIP tent for the evening. Despite Taylor Swift's Eras Tour attracting many celebrities, not all of them got VIP treatment. Those who wanted to see Swift in action either had to pay for a box seat or, for some, sit among the fans.

Here are those fans whose status was not enough to warrant VIP.

Karlie Kloss Didn't Have A VIP Ticket To Eras

Karlie kloss sat in the upper portion of the stadium with fans.

Karlie Kloss and Swift met after Swift performed at a Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The two got along well and became fast friends.

In the months that followed after their friendship began, Kloss became part of Swift's squad, which also included Gigi Hadid , Selena Gomez , Martha Hunt, and more. Kloss even appeared in Swift's "Bad Blood" video. It looked like there was nothing that could come between the two friends.

While Kloss and Swift have never publicly spoken about their friendship, or lack of it, many speculate that it began to strain after Kloss went on a vacation with Scooter Braun at the height of the feud with Swift over purchasing her master tracks. Some fans even believe that the song, "It's Time to Go" is about Kloss.

Taylor Swift Slams Ex-Boyfriends And Fellow Celebrities In An Album That's Wonderfully Petty

If there is a rift between the two, it would make sense that Kloss would not have been invited to the VIP Tent for the Eras Tour. However, not only was Kloss not invited to the tent, she sat in the stands with fans for the three-and-a-half-hour event.

Meghan Markle Sat In Stadium Seating Instead Of A VIP Slot

Meghan markle sat in the stadium seats rather than in the vip tent.

Meghan Markle and friends attended the Eras Tour. However, they were not spotted by fans in the VIP area or even in a box seat. Instead, Markle and her friends sat among the plebian Swifties and sang along to the songs.

It is unclear what the relationship between Markle and Swift is. The duchess reached out to Swift to have her appear on Markle's now-defunct podcast , Archietypes. According to sources, Markle not only had Swift's people contacted but wrote a "handwritten letter" to the Midnights singer as well.

Unfortunately, Swift's schedule would not allow her to appear on the podcast, which would have been a coup for Markle. However, it does not appear to have soured how Markle feels about Swift, given her appearance at the concert.

Sydney Sweeney Skipped The VIP Treatment, Too

Sydney sweeney sat in box seats at the eras tour.

While Sydney Sweeney and Swift may not be friends, many have compared the two and like to draw parallels to how similar Sweeney and Swift are. The most popular similarity that is commented on is how down-to-earth they both are. With the throng of celebrities who came out for the Eras Tour, it was not surprising for Sweeney to appear.

Clearly a fan of Swift's music, Sweeney posted pictures and videos from her night at the final performance at SoFi Stadium. From her box seat, Sweeney danced and sang along with friends , looking like she had an amazing time.

While she was in the VIP Tent, it did not appear to have phased Sweeney one bit, who captioned her Instagram carousel of pictures, "Had the time of my life."

Machine Gun Kelly Might Have Bought His Own Eras Tour Ticket

Machine gun kelly sat in box seats at the eras tour.

One celebrity that some were surprised to see at the Eras Tour was Machine Gun Kelly. However, this should not be that astounding, given that it appears that Swift and Machine Gun Kelly and Megan Fox are friendly with one another.

This was proven at the Super Bowl after party where pictures were taken of Swift, Travis Kelce, Fox, and MGK chatting and hanging out with each other. When this friendship began is unclear. But the conversation was more than just passing, proving there is some sort of history there.

It is not clear if Megan Fox attended the Eras Tour. While she was not spotted in videos or pictures fans took of Machine Gun Kelly while he attended a SoFi Stadium show, that does not mean Fox was not in attendance. However, if she was, she was enjoying the view with Machine Gun Kelly from a box seat rather than from the VIP Tent.
