My boyfriend and I choose to go over to Turkey, Marmaris during our holiday in Rhodes. We decided to use Faliraki Tours cruise services for our trip and we could not be happier. Our tickets included a transfer from and back to our hotel which was already a great bonus considering that we only payed €35 and €15 for port taxes each. Upon arriving at Marmaris we discovered that our tickets included a 60minute city tour, a stop at a gorgeous lookout point, 1 stop at a luxury jewellery and watch shop included a drink and discount if needed, also a ride to the bazaar with 3,5hrs free time and a ride back to the ferry. We were so so pleased. Our guide Mehmet was amazing. Funny, helful and full of details. I also loved his cute accent. Extra point for the honesty of the Turkish, they wouldn't try and sell their fakes as real brands. Bargaining with them is a must, as it is also good fun.Go for it, it's worth it.

Booked the tickets on line for 4 people whilst sitting by the hotel pool. This company collects you from several hotels in Faliraki and takes you to the port. On line was 35 Euro's each and the tickets are emailed to you. On arrival an extra 15 euro is payable as border charges for Turkey. You can wander around the 3 decks on board and buy drinks and snacks during the journey. We had a pleasant sailing out and a little bit of rolling on the way back, I can imagine when it is rough it can be quite hairy. Once through customs in Turkey you again board a coach where the funny guide takes you to a viewing spot over the old and new town before taking you to a gold shop, which in my opinion is over priced and tacky. After 30 to 40 minutes you again board the coach and taken to the bazaar. The guide takes you into the shop that is to be your meeting point and then you are left for 4 hours to wander around. Please beware that at the sight of new blood every shop keeper will pounce learn to say no in a firm voice and keep looking. We picked up a few genuine fake goods and had an enjoyable time You are then collected and taken back to the ferry port to board and come home. Do tip the driver and guide as they make your day. Enjoyable trip and well worth the money. Marmaris  

I booked this trip in the UK before leaving for Rhodes. I am really happy with the service I received from Faliraki Tours. I had a couple of questions for them before I travelled and they were really speedy to reply to my emails and answered all of my questions with great detail. The ferry trip was really impressive and the ferry itself was very clean and we found ample seating inside for me and my family. There was plenty of food and drink available to buy on the ferry, which I found to be reasonably priced. On arrival in Marmaris you have to go through passport control, this can be a bit time consuming. Once through passport control you get on the bus for a quick 20/30 minute tour of Marmaris with one stop for photos and then off to the gold factory. The gold factory wasn't something that interested me or my family, but we did it as it was part of the package. After that it's your free time to do whatever you like. We chose to visit a couple of shops, the beach, a cafe and dolphin therapy. The only problem I have with this trip is that the free time was only around 4 hours and I felt we had to rush things more than I would have liked to. I would do this trip again, but with no tour or gold factory as I'd like more time to explore the lovely Marmaris.

We has a day trip from Marmaris to Rhodes and it was a good day , but takes longer to get there than they say, and it really takes some time to get through customs so delayed for 45 minutes on return. We had about 4 half hours there which was really nice.

We did a boat trip from Marmaris to Rhodes , which was fairly quick and comfortable although you can only stay on one level. Very Reasonably Priced, but depends who you book through as we were quoted different prices by each so we booked online from the best price. We had plenty of time in the town to look around and there is lots to see and do. I would say you can probably see everything in a day. We had a lovely traditional Greek meal and there are lots of cafes and restaurants about. It was a beautiful island and the locals are very friendly. There are some little shops and stalls to look round and the island has its own individual history to look into. Saw enough in one day but could go back for longer stay and visit surrounding areas.

We booked Marmaris Rhodes Ferry Tickets online from excursionmarmaris.com. Picked up near our hotel and taken to the harbor to catch the Ferry (only takes around 1 hour). With a short walk we were inside the walls of the old town. The old town is magnificent and there are some great places to eat but it is really expensive, cost us 70 euros to eat in Rhodes for a family of 4. But the trip was very nice.

Me and my family were in Marmaris for a week holiday and decided to go and visit on a day trip. So that we can say that i was an in Greece. There were shops and restaurants will many different options and aome beautiful historical sites. It was a nice place to be visited but not as nice as Marmaris.

We choose to book our day trip to Rhodes from Marmaris by Mares Travel. Not only the most reasonable price offer but also they made thing easier for us. They did all the paper work for us, easy to communicate. Really enjoyed the day, it didn’t take long to get there and had plenty of time in Rhodes. While in Rhodes can the open top bus tour which will let you see historical sites at island.

Day trip to Rhodes from Marmaris is a cheap and quick way to visit another country. If you like history you will love your walk through the old town. Just remember it is abit pricer to eat in Rhodes.

To come to Marmaris and not go to the rhodes, it would really be a pity. I did not find a lower price for this trip. Not to mention that for every excursion they come for you by van, by bus or whatever, and they come back naturally. The praise for Cem, a representative of the agency, was there for every one of my questions.

Actually we did have a good time on our trip and the sea was flat calm so it was only 50 minutes to go to Rhodes from Marmaris. Never been to Rhodes before it was quite nice, slightly a bit more expensive then Marmaris. Not sure if I would want to holiday there but good for a day trip

I can say that Rhodes is truly a beautiful city, there is something around every corner. A true medieval castle with stunning cafes and restaurants. We will definitely be back.

Booked a trip with catamaran from Marmaris, a pretty quick 50 minute trip. To be honest Rhodes is a fantastic place. The historical castle and the old town are the best places. There are so many different food options on the island, but prices are slightly more expensive.

Great trip, well worth the money. We booked with Mares Travel online and paid 35 £ only. If you try to book on the street the price is around 40 £. ıf you try to make a deal with the hotel the price is around £45. The price includes all taxes and hotel transfers,ferry ticket (bothways). You start like 7.30 and be back at 18.00.

With the fast catamaran it takes about an hour to arrive to Rhodes, such a lovely place to spend a day. We spent the day in the old town looking at the sights. Warning – did receive hassle to purchase gifts and restaurants in the old town were good but expensive to eat for a family of 5.

If you have time in Marmaris, you can easily take the boat trip to Rhodes!! It is a great day out and only takes fifty minutes to go there! The island is beautiful and the people are absolutely lush.

Rhodes is definitely worth a visit for the castle walls and other historical sites, but other than that the town centre itself can be covered in the day! The boat trip from Marmaris was quick around 50 minutes.

Marmaris rhodes boat trip.

We booked the boat trip across from Marmaris to Rhodes for the day with Marmaris Travel. The tour was well organized, it was nice to visit the old town and walk around the old castle walls of the town. You can buy the hoponhopoff ticket for 12euro but we did not really use it much. Was a good day out all in all.

We have been to Rhodes twice from Marmaris, this is a great trip and well worth money. We paid 34 £ online with Marmaris Travel, on the street its around 40 £ and hotel wanted 45 £. Price was the best, it is an all day tour with hotel transfer. Catamaran takes an hour to arrive to Rhodes. There is always a queue at customs, but a well worth tour.

Well worth a visit We took the hovercraft from Marmaris harbour to Rhodes, only took 1 hour. he catamaran left Marmaris at 9am and left Rhodes at 5pm – sufficent time in Rhodes to visit the Old Town. Rhodes was very beautiful, lots to see in the old town. We wandered around the old walled town with its stone walls and cobbled streets – a photographers paradise. But be aware Rhodes is very expensive, still the duty free is amazingly cheap .
