Australia’s Murray River is one of the world’s legendary rivers, in fact it is Australia’s most famous river. Mysterious, massive and meandering 2,320 km, it ranks with the Mississippi, the Nile and the Amazon. Boasting some of the most spectacular and rugged Australian landscapes, the Murray River is home to an array of abundant wildlife and birdlife. It is aboard Proud Mary the intimate cruising vessel that you can discover the Murray’s eco-system at its best.

Facilities / Features

Operating 2 & 5 night cruises 365 days of the year, departing from Murray Bridge, just one hour out of Adelaide, The Proud Mary caters for a maximum of only 36 passengers, this boutique product provides the ideal environment for passengers to explore, experience, indulge and discover. The well appointed bar, lounge and dining area provides the perfect location for indulging in the culinary delights of the resident chef, while viewing the passing Australian scenery.

The captains commentary may spark an interest to peruse the vessel’s resource centre and learn more from one of the many books available. You may like to enjoy a cuppa from the continuous tea and coffee available in the dining room or browse the souvenirs available for purchase. Explore at your leisure any of the spectacular mooring locations; enjoy a walk through the bushland or discover the backwaters in one of the available canoes. For those who like a spot of fishing, reels and bait are available, simply ask one of the Proud Mary crew.

The Proud Mary boasts 18 spacious Riverview rooms. With only one room type, each cabin has twin or double beds, individually controlled air conditioning units, private en-suite, tea & coffee making facilities and hair dryers. All rooms offer spectacular river views and open on to balcony areas. Cabins are serviced twice daily

The itinerary and tours offered by the Proud Mary will remain exactly the same as that offered by the former Murray Expedition. Guests will enjoy the ecotourism experience of a lifetime against a backdrop of towering sandstone cliffs, sweeping skies, wildlife-filled lagoons, weeping willows and giant red gums of the Murray River.

Cunard's flagship Queen Mary 2 has returned to Liverpool on Friday to mark her 400th transatlantic crossing. The ship entered service in 2004 and makes regular crossings between the British Isles and New York City.

The ocean liner has stopped for an overnight call in Liverpool - the port where Cunard started passenger services between Europe and North America in 1840. Since then, Cunard ships have crossed the Atlantic every year, beginning with the paddle steamer Britannia, which departed Liverpool on 4 July 1840 bound for Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Boston.

Queen Mary 2 arrived on the Mersey earlier today and will depart at 11.59pm September 7, bound for Cobh, Ireland. Her voyage to Liverpool started in New York on August 23, when she commenced her 400th crossing of the Atlantic.

Large crowds greeted the ship as she made her way onto the Mersey off the coast of Sefton. She passed by Formby and Crosby in the Mersey before swinging in the river and berthing at the city's cruise terminal.

Korolyov or Korolev is an industrial city in Moscow Oblast, Russia, well known as the cradle of Soviet and Russian space exploration. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 183,402, the largest as a science city. As of 2018, the population was more than 222,000 people. It was known as Kaliningrad from 1938 to 1996 and served as the leading Soviet center for production of anti-tank and air-defense guns.
