XG announced the details of its highly anticipated first world tour kicking off in May, entitled XG 1st WORLD TOUR “The first HOWL.” 

The seven-member girl group that recently celebrated its second anniversary on Mar. 18 is set to launch its global trek in Japan two months later on May 18 and 19 at the Osaka-jo Hall. The group will then perform at K Arena Yokohama on May 25 and 26 and go on to do shows in a number of Asian cities and regions including Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Seoul, Taipei, Bangkok, and Manila.

XG announce North American and European dates for 2024 ‘The First Howl’ world tour

South Korean-based Japanese girl group XG have added new dates to their 2024 ‘The First Howl’ world tour, featuring concerts in Asia, North America, Europe and more.

In March, XG announced that they would be embarking on their first-ever world tour, titled ‘The First Howl’. It kicked off with a two-date show at the Osaka-Jo Hall in Osaka, Japan on May 18 and 19. In the same month, they will also play concerts in the Japanese city of Yokohama.

On May 20, the girl group have revealed the dates and venues for the Asia leg of the tour. It’ll begin in July, with concerts in South Korea, Taiwan and Singapore. In August, XG will also perform shows in the Philippines, Thailand and Malaysia.

On June 7, XG announced the North American leg of their 2024 ‘The First Howl’ world tour. It’ll take place this October, with eight shows across the US, including concerts in the states of California, Texas, New York, Nevada and more.

The girl group revealed the dates and venues for their Europe tour on June 10. It’ll feature 7 shows across the month of November, including concerts in the cities of London, Berlin, Paris and more.

The girl group have also revealed upcoming legs in Australia, Greater China, South America in the future. Tickets to the North American leg of XG’s 2024 ‘The First Howl’ world tour will go on sale June 11 at 10am local time via Ticketmaster .

Meanwhile, tickets for the European leg will go on pre-sale June 12 for ALPHAZ members, normal pre-sale will begin on June 13, with general sale starting on June 14, all at 10am BST via the tour’s official website .

Wildly popular pop group XG  have announced the US leg of their debut world tour “ XG 1st WORLD TOUR The first HOWL. ” This marks their first performance in the States since their lights-out show at Head in the Clouds Music and Arts Festival New York 2023. 

XG will play 8 shows across the US, starting with The Theater at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas on October 4, with stops including the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, Texas Trust CU Theatre in Grand Prairie, Gas South Arena in Atlanta, and Theater at MSG in New York before closing at Wintrust Arena in Chicago October 21. 

An abbreviation of the aspirational name “Xtraordinary Power” – XG strives to empower young people all over the world with their fresh, inventive music and performance. The group consists of 7 members: Jurin, Chisa, Hinata, Juria, Cocona, Maya, and Harvey. XG debuted in March 2022 with their 1st Single ‘ Tippy Toes. ’ Since then, they have performed on numerous international stages and media outlets, in countries including the United States, Japan, Korea, Australia, Singapore, the UAE, Malaysia and China.

Xtradordinary Power, or as we all know them as, XG , are bringing their XG The First Howl Tour to eight cities across the U.S. this year. Are you ready, American Alphaz? Having already charted on Billboard and gained global recognition, the seven-member girl group has the world at its fingertips.

As the U.S. leg of their debut world tour, XG 1st World Tour: The First Howl, marks their first performance back in the States since their set at Head In The Clouds Music and Arts Festival in 2023 , it got us thinking about how to prepare for the show. That’s why we’re here to make it as easy as possible for our THP hive to know all the details, including where and when the shows are, how to get tickets (with pre-sales listed), outfit inspiration, songs to add to your playlist in the lead-up, and how to connect with other Alphaz at the show.

TikTok also has a presale for the XG The First Howl Tour , which begins on Wednesday, June 12th at 10 a.m. local time.

The First How Tour Fit

K-Pop concerts should be official fashion shows at this point. We love seeing fans take inspiration from their favorite era, song, or member and show elements of this in their outfit. It could be something as small as a symbol representing a member on a badge attached to your jacket or a whole recreation fit! So, Alphaz, what’s the vibe? Either way, these girls exude confidence, so we’re excited to see everyone channel these bold themes in their concert outfits.

What To Listen To Between Ticket Sale And Show Day

XG is taking over the globe! The global girl group announced their first world tour in 2024 and we couldn’t be more excited to see what’s in store for them. Keep reading for everything we know, details on XG, members and more.

XG Announces World Tour: Dates, Tickets

Back in March 2023, the members of XG exclusively told J-14 that one of their future goals that they “definitely” wanted to make happen was a world tour — and it’s finally happening.

On November 26, 2023, XG revealed they would be embarking on a worldwide tour via X, writing, “XG’s 1st WORLD TOUR is confirmed! Details will be announced soon!”

So far, they have yet to release details on dates, locations and ticket sales.

“We have many goals, but it’s like running a marathon!” they told J-14 at the time. “So, one of our major goals is to win awards and become artists who everyone can truly call ‘Xtraordinary girls.’”

Who Are XG?

XG, which stands for Xtraordinary Girls, consists of members Jurin ,  Chisa ,  Hinata ,  Juria ,  Cocona ,  Maya  and  Harvey . While all of XG’s members are Japanese, all of their songs are in English and sometimes Korean. They’ve been preparing for their debut since 2017, and finally released their debut single “Tippy Toes” on March 18, 2022.

“We’re Japanese and we also sing in both English and Korean,” Jurin explained in an interview with  NME  in January 2023. “We have also been invited to participate in Korean music programs, so I think we’re a unique group. Taking on these new challenges can sometimes lead to anxiety, but we’ve had a lot of positive feedback from people around ‘GALZ XYPHER’ and  ‘Mascara’ , which has given us a lot of confidence and made us happy.”

On top of being extremely talented, the girls are also also super close to one another — jokingly calling their sister-like friendship an “umbilical cord” during an interview with Contrast Magazine .

“It’s a strong bond between us,” Jurin explained. “We call it our ‘umbilical cord’ in XG, which means that the seven of us are connected to each other as if we are all sisters.”
