2023 Historic Waxahachie Christmas Tour of Homes

Immerse yourself in the historic holiday tradition of the year, and celebrate the spirit of the season, as seen through the lens of five beautiful Waxahachie historic architectural marvels. Decorated with unique holiday styles for each home, tour a variety of different architectural styles and learn about what it’s like to live, work, and play in these historic homes.

Trade your advance e-ticket for your collectors guide book at any of the homes- tour them in the order you choose!

Your guide book is a special collectors edition, which will give you a list of all the home addresses, information on the beautfiful homes on the tour and their history, and a community map for your convenience. Each year, the collectors guide book features custom watercolor art of a Waxahachie home from the previous year's tour.

Ticket sales support the mission of Historic Waxahachie, Inc., a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to the education, preservation, and advocacy of Waxahachie heritage. This event serves as the main fundraiser of the year for Historic Waxahachie and all tickets are non-refundable.

April Scarborough Renaissance Festival Embark on an adventure to the 16th century at the Scarborough Renaissance Festival in Waxahachie. Experience the thrill of watching full-armored jousts, interact with hundreds of costumed performers, and watch a variety of entertaining performances on 21 stages. July Crape Myrtle Festival Waxahachie’s Crape Myrtle Festival is a dual two-day celebration of colorful blooming flowers and the birth of the United States. October Texas Country Reporter Festival Celebrate all that makes the Lone Star State Great at the Texas Country Reporter Festival, held in late October in Waxahachie’s picturesque courthouse square. Enjoy great live music, browse display of arts and crafts made by Texas artists, and savor succulent food from all over the state. Veterans Day/WWII Weekend If you’re a World War II history enthusiast, don’t miss Waxahachie’s Veterans Day/WWII Weekend. Walk around the downtown area during Veteran’s Day Weekend and you’ll see reenactors dressed in period military and civilian clothing, more than 60 antique military vehicles, and a variety of static displays.
