I pray this for the United States and for the whole world! ONE of the MANY reasons we love to introduce our friends and acquaintances to the people of the Middle East. Our USA media portrays mostly fighting and hatred among those of Arab and Jewish descent. Our TransforMissional Tours to Israel always include our Jewish guide and our Muslim bus driver. Both are good friends of ours… and each other. In addition to the amazing historic places we visit, one of the most transformational experiences for our mostly Christian travelers, is to be in oneness, unity, friendship and close proximity with Muslims and Jews day after day.

This video and song, was done a couple years ago by Matthew Paul Miller, known by his Hebrew and stage name Matisyahu. He is an American Jewish reggae singer. This orchestration took place in Haifa, Israel on Valentine’s Day 2018. Incredibly, 3,000 Muslims and Jews (none of whom had met before) were invited to come together and learn the song “One Day” by Matisyahu. They learned the song in under an hour. Not only that, but they learned how to sing and harmonize the lyrics in 3 different languages. The resulting concert, which was made in collaboration with Beit HaGefen, the Haifa Municipality, and the Port of Haifa, is a breathtaking display of unity and beauty. This is our prayer for our world!

Blind Man and His Service Dog Kicked Out of Restaurant: ‘You Don’t Look Blind’

A legally blind man and his service dog were threatened with arrest when they tried to go into a Seattle restaurant

A legally blind TikToker has shared that he and his guide dog were kicked out of a Seattle restaurant when a staff member didn’t believe he was blind.

“I walked in with my guide dog, Mr. Maple, and immediately somebody rushed up to me and said, ‘No pets allowed, only service dogs,'” said Paul, who chronicles his adventures with his partner on the popular TikTok account MatthewandPaul , which has more than 2.1 million followers.

In his TikTok , posted yesterday, Paul said he explained, “‘It's OK, he's a service dog.’ He looked at me, he looked at Maple, he said, ‘ Emotional support dog ?’ ‘No, like a guide dog for the blind .’”

“I literally had this harness attached to him,” Paul continued, referring to the words “Guide Dogs for the Blind” on Mr. Maple’s harness. 

“I showed this to him, I said ‘I'm blind.’”

“He said, ‘You don't look blind,’ and I said, ‘A lot of people in the blind community still have some functional vision.’”

As Paul has previously explained in another TikTok , he has Retinitis pigmentosa, which the National Eye Institute says causes the “cells in the retina break down slowly over time, causing vision loss.”

He can see a small tunnel of vision, surrounded by “moving light, popping random colors, almost like fireworks.”

Paul shared that he tried to explain this at the restaurant. 

“He said, ‘You're looking right at me.’ I said, ‘Yes, but it's like I have a pinhole of vision — that's all I can see.’

"He said, ‘Listen, this isn't my first rodeo’ — he literally said that — he said, ‘This isn't my first rodeo.’”

Paul continued, ‘’He said, ‘Do you see any other dogs in this restaurant?’ I said, ‘Honestly, no. I'm blind. There could be.’”

When Paul offered to come back with his dog’s paperwork, he says he was told, “If you step foot back in this restaurant with that dog I will call the police.”

“I'm speechless,” he concluded his video, which at press time had 5.1 million views.

“Service animals must be allowed into all areas of a place of public accommodation where the general public is allowed,” says the Washington State Human Rights Commission , which adds, “this includes dining and eating areas, restrooms, and areas where food is sold.” 

While Paul declined to name the restaurant, commenters offered their support, saying, “Pretty sure if you name the restaurant all the Seattle baddies with service dogs will congregate.”

And another commenter added, “We ride at dawn for Mr. Maple,” prompting Matthew and Paul to reply, “Thank you❤️❤️❤️.”

Kyzyl Kum Desert, Uzbekistan

The Kyzyl Kum – meaning red sands in Turkic languages – is the 15th largest desert in the world. Divided between central Uzbekistan, northern Turkmenistan, and southern Kazakhstan, the desert is located in an Italy-sized depression and bookended by the Amu Darya and the Syr Darya rivers.  Click here  to see more photos of the Kyzyl Kum Desert.

Mt. Damavand, Iran

Iran’s Mt. Damavand is the highest peak in the Middle East and also Asia’s highest volcano. East Kazakhstan, Kazakhstan

Slightly smaller in size than Italy, and with a population of fewer than 1.5 million people, this far eastern corner of Kazakhstan is an ideal place for solitude-seeking visitors. Bayan-Ölgii, Mongolia

Mongolia’s western province of Bayan-Ölgii is famous for its hunters who use trained eagles for capturing prey. Tuva Republic, Russia

Tuva is a semi-autonomous republic in southern Siberia and borders Mongolia. It’s home to the geographical centre of Asia and also the Yenisei – Russia’s longest river. It’s a landscape of wild forests and steppe dotted with villages, semi-nomadic settlements and a vibrant throat singing and artisanal crafts making culture. Altai Republic, Russia

Local Altaians and Russians practising Tengrisim, Pagan Slavic religions, or Burkhanism, consider the Altai Republic as Siberia’s spiritual heart. The landlocked republic shares its borders with Kazakhstan and Mongolia and is home to Mt Belukha (4,506m), Siberia’s highest peak. Pamir Mountains, Tajikistan

Saryesik-Atyrau, Kazakhstan

Ust-Yurt, Kazakhstan

The Ust-Yurt — meaning plateau in Kazakh — is a coastal desert region on the edge of the Caspian Sea, covering an area this size of Kyrgyzstan. The region sprawls out across Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and is characterised by vast salt pans and impressive sedimentary rock towers, escarpments and pinnacles. Danakil Depression, Ethiopia

Over one hundred metres below sea level, northeast Ethiopia’s Danakil Depression is an otherworldly landscape of sulphur springs, smoking volcanoes and salt pans. Despite its inhospitable nature, it’s home to the Afar — an ethnic Cushitic group spanning northern Ethiopia and parts of Djibouti and Eritrea. Caucasus Mountains, Georgia

Bordering Russia to the north and lying on the Black Sea coast, Georgia bridges a cultural and continental divide between Europe and Asia. Similar in size to Ireland, it’s a country with a diverse range of landscapes from 5000m+ alpine peaks, Samtskhe-Javakheti and Kvemo Kartli province’s rolling expanses of verdant grassland, and the Mediterranean climate of Kakheti’s wine-growing region near Azerbaijan’s border. Wakhan Corridor, Afghanistan

Northeast Afghanistan’s Wakhan region — which also includes parts of eastern Tajikistan — is one of the country’s remotest areas. Unlike other provinces, the Wakhan has remained untouched by conflict. Its quiet mountain valleys, picturesque villages and infrequently visited network of trails makes it one of Central and South Asia’s outstanding travel destinations. Jennifer Lopez is becoming super relatable amid her marital woes with Ben Affleck ... getting back to her Jenny From The Block roots with some commercial air travel.

Check out these photos/video, obtained by TMZ, showing J Lo's mode of transportation over in Europe ... and no, this ain't a private jet -- it's a regular old airplane full of a bunch of normies, on which she flew Saturday going from Naples to Paris.

The singer/actress was in the cabin with everyone else, and had a bodyguard sitting next to her ... taking up aisle duty while she occupied the window seat, minding her business.

As you can see ... she didn't seem to be getting bothered much -- still ... she was kinda packed in like a sardine ... and even before the flight, she was spotted in the terminal along with everyone else, going through the motions of customs, etc. Like we said, relatable.

Of course, J Lo popped up in Italy just last week for a solo trip without Ben ... getting some R&R with friends along the beautiful Positano coast, where she was beaming.

While J Lo wined and dined in Italy and flew to France for Paris Fashion Week, Ben's been in L.A. ... where he's spending time with his son and hitting the marital home . Of course, he ran into a little drama there with paps ... but the bigger point is, he and Jen are apart.

As you know ... Ben and Jen appear to be hurtling towards divorce, and are living separately as they quietly try to unload the $60 million Beverly Hills home they purchased together just last year.

We've seen Jen and Ben hang out together here and there over the past several weeks -- mostly for family events -- but on this occasion ... it looks like she needs some me-time.

A Euro flight up in the air is the perfect place for that ... just a superstar and her thoughts.
