Billie Eilish has added another leg to her ‘Happier Than Ever’ world tour, announcing six Asian dates this August.

The shows, announced today will mark Eilish’s first-ever headlining shows in the continent. The singer had previously performed in Singapore, Tokyo and Osaka in 2018 as part of the Laneway and Summer Sonic festivals respectively.

The new dates will take Eilish to cities across the Philippines, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Japan. A full list of dates is available below.

A pre-sale for Eilish’s fan-club will go live tomorrow morning from 10am local time. A second pre-sale, held by tour promoter Live Nation, will follow the next day on Saturday June 25. The general sale will begin this coming Monday, June 27 – also at 10am local time. Find more info at Live Nation Asia .

The tour dates take place a month before Eilish’s previously announced tour of Australia and New Zealand. Eilish is currently on tour through Europe and the UK, which will include a performance at Glastonbury Festival’s Pyramid Stage this weekend.

“It’s a serious once in a lifetime opportunity to be asked to go to and to do,” Eilish said of her Glastonbury performance in an interview with Apple Music 1’s Matt Wilkinson . “And I’m constantly feeling like I’m undeserving of everything, and I think that’s a good thing. I would say that that’s a good thing for the most part. But first of all, it makes you doubt everybody because you’re like, ‘Why would you choose me?’”

She added: “But with that being said, that’s why I’m even more excited about it and stoked and to be the youngest headliner ever. And I’m a woman and that’s really cool. And it makes me excited for the future. And unfortunately, there’s not a lot of female headliners constantly. So I feel really honored and really excited.”

Billie Eilish’s Asian dates on her ‘Happier Than Ever’ tour are as follows:

Saturday, August 13 – Manila, SM Mall Of Asia Arena Sunday, August 15 – Seoul, Gocheok Sky Dome Wednesday, August 18 – Kuala Lumpur, National Stadium Saturday, August 21 – Singapore, National Stadium Wednesday, August 24 – Bangkok, Impact Arena Friday, August 26 – Tokyo, Ariake Arena.

In 2019, Billie Eilish earned her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with ‘bad guy,’ taken from her multi-platinum global smash debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?   [Darkroom/Interscope Records].

Billie Eilish is officially the first artist born this millennium to achieve both a No. 1 album and single, and is now the third female solo artist in the 31-year history with multiple songs topping the Billboard Alternative Songs airplay chart (alongside Alanis Morrissette and Sinead O’Connor). "bad guy” also hit #1 in the Pop Songs airplay chart after leading the Alternative Songs airplay. Her album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? -- released on March 29 [Darkroom/Interscope Records] -- debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200 album chart, has since returned to the top spot two additional times last year, and is currently 2019’s best-selling album in North America. Recently, Billie Eilish graced the cover of Rolling Stone, V, Billboard, Variety and ELLE, and has amassed more that 17-billion combined global streams to date.

Billie Eilish will embark on a sold-out North American tour in March 2020 and will tour South America and the UK before heading to Asia.

Billie Eilish Happier Than Ever Tours Asia By Mary J Marwan 27 July, 2022 7:37am GMT+8 / MYT Billie Eilish: Guitar Songs EP review – engulfed in the horror and hope of 2022

Billie Eilish Debuts New Song Glastonbury 2022. Music Press Asia

In the midst of a world tour, Billie Eilish released a pair of guitar-rich songs that did not receive any pageantry that usually accompanies a major-label pop release.

On the last leg of her world tour this year, Billie Eilish’s Happier Than Ever tour is about to slam into Asia’s largest region covering six cities – Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand, Seoul and Singapore. It’s hard to avoid this region for many reasons, but considering a maximum seating capacity of 203,269 all combined, Eilish is making her first pit stop at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay, Philippines.

Earlier last month, the mould-breaking 20-year-old pop phenomenon made an intimate appearance in front of a vast crowd of 21,000 — a show magnifying both arena awe and appetizing detail — at AO Arena in Manchester.

A few weeks later, she became the youngest ever solo Glastonbury headliner.

The digital age sets a new precedence in testing new tracks before release. At the live shows, Eilish and her producer brother, Finneas, debuted a brand new song titled TV – one that was immediately edited to release with its official lyric video on YouTube recently. Fittingly, the melody of each line seems to tumble, each one a crumbling empire delivered in her tremulous, feather-light voice. “Maybe I’m the problem,” she sings endlessly, which might feel a bit self-flagellating at first.

To listen to Eilish’s new song TV, click the image below.

But then, maybe, the point of it all emerges: the acoustic recording blends with the sound of the crowd from the Manchester show, an echo bounced back from the crowd, who wasted little time sending the internet in a wild frenzy. Building from sympathy to a sort of staunch communion, their shared helplessness gets louder and louder.

This song blends with some of the sonority from the Happier Than Ever album featuring conventional themes — such as heartbreak and glamour — than its 2019’s gothic, carnivalesque creation of When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

What you want to see at the concert wouldn’t be just the big bulldozing sound system of her considerable realist remarks typical of Eilish, but for the ummph in bass and bonhomie. Most pop concerts don’t give you this level of sonority.

On Billie Eilish’s recent European tour she has said she was struck by the dissonance between the euphoric crowds and the desolate news coming from her native US.

“I would mention some stuff about the state of home and it was just so weird to be in a place where they weren’t having to deal with that,” she told Apple Music. “Then I was thinking back to everyone at home and just being like, ‘Wow, what the fuck? What’s going on?’”

With her black tears, Tourette syndrome and green roots, the U.S pop superstar Billie Eilish is an uncommon star. The mainstream culture anchors on the stuff of nightmares and therapy sessions. Now 20, Eilish has bagged seven major Grammys and an Oscar.

She’ll start off the asian leg of her world tour in manila on august 13, followed by seoul, kuala lumpur, singapore, bangkok, and tokyo, respectively..

Music fans are obviously ‘happier than ever’ after this was announced through the singer’s official Twitter account on June 23:

The Bad Guy hitmaker’s previous tour WHERE DO WE GO? World Tour, where Asian dates were originally scheduled in 2020, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Known for her unique and hauntingly beautiful voice, the multi-awarded artist started creating waves in the music industry after receiving lots of positive reviews of her 2015 song Ocean Eyes, written and produced by his brother, FINNEAS, after it was originally released on the music platform Soundcloud. After gaining the public attention, it was re-released a year after, as a single through Darkroom and Interscope Records.

Aside from Bad Guy and Ocean Eyes, Billie’s other hits include when the party’s over, idontwannabeyouanymore, everything i wanted and Happier Than Ever. She has also done collaborations with other artists including Khalid, Rosalia, and Justin Bieber.

Billie Eilish exudes love and confidence at Manila stop of Happier Than Ever tour – gig report

Billie Eilish exudes love and confidence at Manila stop of Happier Than Ever tour – gig report

It may have been raining outside, but thousands of fans were happier than ever, lighting up the walls of Mall of Asia Arena on 13 August . Even the local music scene also came to the show to support. The likes of Myrene Academia of Sandwich , Chi Resurreccion of Typecast , and  Paolo Valenciano of Salamin  were spotted in the audience, thrilled for the night to come.

Billie Eilish 's first visit to the Philippines was way overdue. Because of the pandemic, the 2020 Where Do We Go? World Tour was postponed then canceled and inevitably shifted with the times as the 'Therefore I Am' singer released her sophomore album Happier Than Ever . With a brand-new record to promote, a different show had to be made.

But why fix what isn't broken? Just as Billie did during her previous tour, she opened the show with 'bury a friend' , a sure crowd-pleaser, appearing centerstage in her signature oversize shirt, bike shorts, kinesiology tape, and running shoes. The entire arena was drenched in red lights. Energy levels were high, and despite the crowd wearing their facemasks, you could tell everyone was smiling.

billie eilish tour asia

BANDWAGON TV

She then performed 'I Didn't Change My Number' and dodged cars that sped past her onscreen with 'NDA' , before stepping back to her older catalog with 'my strange addiction' . Apart from her bubbly and hyperactive self, Billie also displayed a more sensual side, as she gyrated onto the floor of the stage. The silhouette of a giant black arachnid made an appearance during 'you should see me in a crown' , later to be replaced by an underwater setting with sharks for 'ilomilo' .

Billie had two rules for the crowd: 1) Don't be an asshole and 2) have fun. While she had these important rules implemented, the engaging 'Lost Cause' singer made sure to spread the love and make her audience feel loved. "Turn to the person next to you and tell them you love them," she told them, urging friends to hug each other and hold hands.

Of course, it wouldn't be a Billie Eilish show without her brother-producer FINNEAS and drummer Andrew Marshall backing her up onstage. Their presence was mesmerizing, perfectly synchronized with the visuals displayed on the massive video walls that built the stage.

As a special number for her Filipino fans, Billie performed the Guitar Songs track 'The 30th' live for the first time. She quipped it was a really difficult song to sing, but she pulled it off beautifully with FINNEAS by her side. The emotional moment was later followed with the heartbreaking single 'when the party's over' , before Billie turned the Mall of Asia Arena into one spectacular party with 'bad guy' . Just like the torrential rains that poured outside, the power of 'Happier Than Ever' brought chills to everyone in the audience. It's simply just one of those songs you have to catch live at least once in your life.

We were happier than ever at #BillieEilishMNL last night! 💚 Check out our recap of the concert soon on Bandwagon ✨ pic.twitter.com/EIs8S2rP3z — Bandwagon PH (@bandwagonPH) August 14, 2022

Seeing the 20-year-old rule the stage felt like watching and cheering on a friend-turned-superstar, who can't and won't stop jumping. She's a natural, born to make people happy with her music. This generation is lucky to have someone like Billie to look up to and realize the countless possibilities life could take you on your own journey to greatness.

Billie Eilish continues the Asia leg of her Happier Than Ever tour in Seoul , Kuala Lumpur , Singapore , Bangkok , and Tokyo through the rest of August.

Billie Eilish announces Kuala Lumpur stop on World Tour

7 x GRAMMY winner, US pop sensation Billie Eilish will headline arenas and stadiums throughout Asia in August. Eilish brings her hotly anticipated Happier Than Ever, The World Tour to Manila, Seoul, Kuala Lumpur , Singapore, Bangkok and Tokyo this August.

It will be the singer’s first live dates in Asia, and the shows come off the back of her #1, critically acclaimed sophomore record Happier Than Ever – out now via Universal Music. Eilish’s tour dates in North America, the UK and Europe sold out in record time back in May 2021.

Happier Than Ever, The World Tour is set to take place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at the National Stadium on 18 August 2022 .

Fan club pre-sale starts on 24 June at 10am, followed by Live Nation Members pre-sale on 25 June at 10am. Visit livenation.my for membership signup and pre-sale access. General public tickets will go on sale 27 June at 10am via golive-asia.com or GoLive Ticketing App.

On September 3 2021 Eilish made her Disney+ debut with Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles – a cinematic concert experience, filmed on the stage of the legendary Hollywood Bowl and featuring an intimate performance of every song on Happier Than Ever in sequential order, performed for the first and only time.

On her Happier Than Ever, The World Tour, Eilish will continue her work with sustainability partner REVERB, which focuses on climate action and climate justice, hosting and supporting local and global environmental organizations as well as a comprehensive program via REVERB’s Music Climate Revolution campaign. In addition to reducing the tour’s environmental footprint, the initiative will support projects that directly and measurably eliminate greenhouse gases. These collective efforts will make the tour Climate Positive; eliminating significantly more emissions than the tour creates.

Tickets are priced at RM308, RM408, RM508, RM598 and will be available as a fan club pre sale on June 24, 2022 (Friday) from 10AM, Live Nation member's pre sale on June 25, 2022 (Saturday) from 10AM and finally general sale on June 27, 2022 (Monday) 10AM onwards at   www.golive-asia.com

Event Details

Global, chart-topping Interscope/Darkroom Records artist Billie Eilish is bringing her highly anticipated WHERE DO WE GO? WORLD TOUR to Hong Kong, performing her first-ever live in the city at AsiaWorld-Expo, Arena on August 30, 2020 (Sunday ).

In 2019, Billie Eilish earned her first No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with ‘ bad guy,’ taken from her multi-platinum global smash debut album, WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? [Darkroom/Interscope Records].

Billie Eilish is officially the first artist born this millennium to achieve both a No. 1 album and single, and is now the third female solo artist in the 31-year history with multiple songs topping the Billboard Alternative Songs airplay chart (alongside Alanis Morrissette and Sinead O’Connor). " bad guy ” also hit #1 in the Pop Songs airplay chart after leading the Alternative Songs airplay. Recently, Billie Eilish graced the cover of Rolling Stone , V, Billboard, Variety and ELLE , and has amassed more that 17-billion combined global streams to date.

Billie Eilish will embark on a sold-out North American tour in March 2020 and will tour South America and the UK before heading to Asia.

Don’t miss your chance to witness Billie Eilish in action!

Liner Notes: Can we get back to true co-headlining tours?

Olivia Rodrigo, left, and Billie Eilish seem like a natural pairing for a co-headlining tour, sitting in on each other's songs and sharing the spotlight, if that concept made a comeback.

Olivia Rodrigo, left, and Billie Eilish seem like a natural pairing for a co-headlining tour, sitting in on each other's songs and sharing the spotlight, if that concept made a comeback. (AP photos)

Blame it on Kanye. Or, well, kind of.

There was a time, not all that long ago, when true co-headlining tours were all the rage. I’m not talking about a traditional opening act time slot filled by an opening act, only to be followed by a traditional headlining act time slot filled by a headlining act. Instead, I’m talking about tours featuring two headliners that meshed their bands together, sat in on each other’s performances and switched the spotlight back and forth every three or four songs. Nothing was binary.

We can blame Kanye at least partially because it was 2011 when he teamed up with Jay-Z to launch “Watch The Throne,” both a collaborative album and a collaborative tour. The ordeal was novel for its time — it’s not that nothing like it had never been done before because concerts like that can date back decades in many forms, including the old revues Motown or Stax Records would put together, but for the popular culture mainstream in the 2010s, it certainly felt fresh (don’t forget that the Jay-Z/R Kelly package tour came in 2004, but we’re going to put that aside for the sake of this conversation because that felt like an anomaly at the time).

From there, the world saw a weird influx of those types of bills. Jay-Z went on to do a similar jaunt with Justin Timberlake only a couple years later. Sting hit a daily double, first sharing a stage nightly with Peter Gabriel and his band before doing the same with Paul Simon and his band. I was a sucker for those things. The Watch The Throne tour proved to be one of the three best hip-hop shows for which I’ve ever been present while the Sting tours were interesting in their own right (not in a million years did I ever anticipate seeing Sting, in the flesh, sing the chorus to Gabriel’s “Kiss That Frog” alongside the former Genesis frontman).

My biggest question these days: What happened? They came and went and that was about all we got in the 2010s. It was a quick handful of short years and everyone moved on without anyone really reflecting on why artists stopped teaming up like this. Thinking about that way too much recently (as a geek like me would), I started going down the mental rabbit hole of what combination tours in 2024 might make sense. And while it appears the heyday of these mashups is gone, we can dream for another two-to-three years of this concept making a comeback someday ... right?

Either way, here’s some ideas for managers and promoters alike who might want to dip their toes back into the true co-headlining way.

Billie Eilish/Olivia Rodrigo

Of all the possibilities out there, this feels the most natural. Eilish just announced that her next record is coming down the pike next month and Rodrigo is still flying high off 2023’s very good “GUTS.” Imagine the lights go down, Eilish starts things off with “Bad Guy” while Rodrigo sings the harmonies and from there, we get right into a trio of “Driver’s License,” “What Was I Made For?” and “Vampire,” the two trading verses on each song every step of the way. Take all my money.

Morgan Wallen/Hardy

How has this not already happened? The (occasionally problematic) country bros bro-ing out at crowds filled with bros who like to bro-out all night long. Both are poster bros for the latest wave of mainstream country male almost-superstars; why not allow them to grab their respective bottles of Jack Daniels and hit amphitheaters far and wide? Love them or hate them, you wouldn’t be able to deny the drawing power of a tour like that.

Noah Kahan/Ed Sheeran

One’s on the way up. The other ... isn’t necessarily on the way down, but when was the last time Ed Sheeran moved the needle in the seismic way he used to do so regularly? Pairing Kahan with, say, Mumford and Sons might make more sense, but this game can only be played with solo artists, so here we are. The collaborative potential is there and it’s not like these two aren’t some of the most celebrated Pop Guys With Acoustic Guitars in the world. Don’t dismiss it so easily.

Pink/Kelly Clarkson

How great would this be? Arguably the two best pure singers in the pop music game today, these two would combine for one hell of a show. I’d pay top dollar just to see how Pink would approach “The Trouble With Love Is.” Ditto for Clarkson and “Just Give Me A Reason.” This could survive in stadiums, right? Just think about the amount of No. 1 songs between the two.

Kendrick Lamar/J. Cole

Welp. Let me get this straight. J. Cole released a diss track aimed at Kendrick Lamar. A couple days later, Cole got up in front of a live crowd and did something nobody in hip-hop has done in the immediate aftermath of going after someone in song: He apologized. Cole is getting roasted. Lamar is still perceived as a king. How could you not want to see a tour like this?

Taylor Swift/Beyoncé

I have to save the most impossible (and most lucrative) idea for last. Practically speaking, Beyoncé is moonlighting as a country artist these days while Swift is the biggest pop star on the planet so somehow these two changed positions right before our eyes and we didn’t even notice it. I don’t know how the logistics of this would work. They are both doing multiple-night runs at stadiums by themselves, so maybe parachute into a city for a week and perform five of those seven nights?

Who knows. All I know is it would break the music industry. And the Internet. And popular culture as we know it. So, someone has to make it happen before Beyoncé releases her pop-punk album and hits the road with Fall Out Boy. “The Tortured Cowboys Department” has a ring to it, don’t you think?

Billie Eilish’s third studio album, "HIT ME HARD AND SOFT", released via Darkroom/Interscope Records is her most daring body of work to date, a diverse yet cohesive collection of songs— ideally listened to in its entirety from beginning to end—does exactly as the album title suggests; hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically, while bending genres and defying trends along the way. With the help of her brother and sole collaborator, FINNEAS, the pair wrote, recorded, and produced the album together in their hometown of Los Angeles. This album comes on the heels of her two massively successful albums “WHEN WE ALL FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO?" and "Happier Than Ever" and works to further develop the world of Billie Eilish.

All the surprise guest appearances at Coachella 2024, from Billie Eilish to Will Smith

  • Coachella's 2024 lineup features huge acts including Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and Sabrina Carpenter.
  • Some of the acts brought out guest performers during their sets.
  • Shakira, Paris Hilton, and Will Smith were just some of the stars who surprised audiences.

It's April and that means one thing: music fans and A-listers are flocking to the Colorado Desert for Coachella .

This weekend was the first of three, with a lineup including Lana Del Rey, No Doubt, and Sabrina Carpenter. In the crowd were stars from Barry Keoghan and Megan Fox to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, while Jeff Bezos was seen waiting to see Del Rey with his fiancé, Lauren Sánchez.

It's easy to see why it's a huge event on the cultural calendar, and things have changed a lot since 25,000 watched Rage Against the Machine in the desert at the first Coachella in 1999. But there's chatter that it's losing its shine, as it shifted tickets at a slower rate than it had done in a decade this year, The Guardian reported.

Those who did make it to the desert were treated to a string of surprise performances, from acts including Billie Eilish and Shakira.

Billie Eilish sang Lana Del Rey's 'Video Games.'

Billie Eilish joined Del Rey during her set, where she performed her own song, "Ocean Eyes," before the pair sang "Video Games" on a balcony together.

Will Smith performed 'Men in Black' during J. Balvin's set, wearing a very appropriate suit.

The actor and rapper also wore black shades, just like his character in the 1997 sci-fi comedy. He was even joined by alien dancers.

Olivia Rodrigo performed with No Doubt.

No Doubt reunited on Saturday at Coachella, where they were joined by Olivia Rodrigo for their 2000 track, "Bathwater." Rodrigo previously told Vogue that No Doubt was a huge musical inspiration to her when growing up.

Shakira performed her song with Bizarrap during his set.

During Bizarrap's set, Shakira came out to perform their new song "La Fuerte," before moving on to "Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53." The "Hips Don't Lie" singer also announced her upcoming tour, called the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour.

Childish Gambino, A$AP Rocky, and Charlie Wilson joined Tyler the Creator.

Tyler the Creator's creative set started with him descending onto the stage on a wire while dressed as a park ranger, and he kept audiences on their toes by bringing out A$AP Rocky, Charlie Wilson, and Childish Gambino.

Gambino, also known as Donald Glover , performed "Running Out of Time" from Tyler's 2019 album, "Igor."

'The L Word' cast introduced Reneé Rapp.

Reneé Rapp was one of the biggest names on the bill this year, and she was introduced by the cast of "The L Word," the groundbreaking '00s show about a group of lesbian and bisexual women living in LA.

Stars Leisha Hailey, Jennifer Beals,Katherine Moennig, and the show's creator, Ilene Chaiken all welcomed Rapp to the stage on Sunday.

Kesha also joined Rapp during her set

Rapp then brought out Kesha, and the pair performed Kesha's 2010 hit, "TiK ToK," together.

Peso Pluma surprised the audience with Becky G.

Becky G brought Peso Pluma out during her Coachella set in 2023, and he repaid the favor this year by inviting her to join him during his performance on Friday, where they sang "Chanel."

Paris Hilton played games with Vampire Weekend

Paris Hilton played a game of cornhole with Vampire Weekend in the middle of their set on Saturday. She joked that she hadn't played it since she was on the 2004 E! reality TV show "The Simple Life" with Nicole Richie.

NEW YORK (AP) — Heart — the pioneering band that melds Nancy Wilson’s shredding guitar with her sister Ann’s powerhouse vocals — is hitting the road this spring and fall for a world tour that Nancy Wilson describes as “the full-on rocker size.”

“I’ve been strengthening. I’ve got my trainer,” she says. “You go one day at a time and you strengthen one workout session at a time. It’s a lot of work, but it’s the only job I know how to do.”

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famers who gave us classic tracks like “Magic Man,” “Crazy on You” and “Alone” will be playing all the hits, some tracks from of their solo albums — like Ann Wilson’s “Miss One and Only” and Nancy Wilson’s “Love Mistake” — and a new song called “Roll the Dice.”

“I like to say we have really good problems because the problem we have is to choose between a bunch of different, really cool songs that people love already,” says Nancy Wilson.

Like “Barracuda,” a sonic burst which first appeared on the band’s second album, “Little Queen” and is one of the band’s most memorable songs.

“You can’t mess with ‘Barracuda.’ It’s just the way it is. It is great. You get on the horse and you ride. It’s a galloping steed of a ride to go on. And for everybody, including the band.”

The tour kicks off Saturday at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, and will hit cities including Atlanta, Boston, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Cleveland, Detroit, as well as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival and Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Colorado. International dates include stops in London, Oslo, Berlin, Stockholm, Montreal and Glasgow.

The band’s Royal Flush Tour will have Cheap Trick as the opening act for many stops, but Def Leppard and Journey will join for three stadium dates in Cleveland, Toronto and Boston this summer.

Ann and Nancy Wilson will be filled out by Ryan Wariner (lead and rhythm guitar), Ryan Waters (guitars), Paul Moak (guitars, keyboards and backing vocals), Tony Lucido (bass and backing vocals) and Sean T. Lane (drums).

The tour is the first in several years for Heart, which was rocked by a body blow in 2016 when Ann Wilson’s husband was arrested for assaulting Nancy’s 16-year-old twin sons. Nancy Wilson says that’s all in the past.

“We can take any kind of turbulence, me and Ann, and we’ve always been OK together,” she says. “We’re still steering the ship and happy to do it together. So we’re tight.”

The new tour will take them to Canada, which was warm to the band when they were starting out as what Nancy Wilson calls “a couple of chicks from Seattle.” She recalls Vancouver embracing Heart, and touring in one van across Canada in the dead of winter on two lane highways.

The Wilson sisters broke rock’s glass ceiling in the ‘70s and Nancy Wilson says they only had male influences to look to, like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and the Moody Blues.

Now she says she looks out and loves seeing generations of female rockers. “You have boygenius and you have Billie Eilish and you have Olivia Rodrigo and so many amazing women — Maggie Rogers and Sheryl Crow, who calls us her big influence. And then Billie Eilish might have Sheryl Crow as her influence. So it’s a really nice legacy to pass along. I like to say we’re the OG — the original gangsters — of women and rock.”

Heart has made it into the Rock Hall, won Grammys, sold millions of albums and rocked hundreds of thousands of fans but Nancy Wilson has one place she’d still like to shine.

Next year will mark the 50th anniversary of their debut album, “Dreamboat Annie,” which was the same year that “Saturday Night Live” started. “So we’re actually kind of putting it out there — Heart never played on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ But what about the 50th birthday party with Heart?”
