Road Trip To Kumaon Uttarakhand – Our 8 Day Tour to Kumaon Region of Uttarakhand

It was with much excitement and expectation that 7 travel bloggers clambered into the bus from Delhi that would be taking them across the Kumaon region of Uttarakhand. It was a Kumaon road trip that would cover over 1200 kilometers in a span of 7 days and would criss-cross the 6 districts of Kumaon Uttarakhand. The excitement increased palpably as we left the state of Uttar Pradesh and entered Uttarakhand – The Land of Gods .

The entire Kumaon odyssey was a revelation as we traveled across some of the lesser known places of the region in the Uttarakhand Bloggers Bus which was an initiative of Uttarakhand Tourism.

Kumaon made famous by Jim Corbett with his, “ Man Eaters of Kumaon “, has much more to it than Bengal Tigers of Corbett National Park. Kumaon Uttarakhand was like an unread book and as we traveled across the region, it revealed itself page by page. Our interest and excitement mounting as we turned each page. Some pages revealed the magnificence of the Kumaon Himalayas while others brought forth the beauty of the Deodhar and Pine forests that stretched across the Kumaon hills. Some chapters talked about adventure and trekking in Kumaon Uttarakhand while others talked about the spirituality that envelops the region in a mystical aura.

We bring you some pages of the wonderful book of Kumaon through some of our photos. These are sure to leave you asking for more. Kumaon is indeed a book that one needs to read at leisure, reading and re-reading each chapter, enjoying each and every word of every line.

Places To Visit In Kumaon Uttarakhand

Places to visit in Uttarakhand like Nainital, Dehradun, Rishikesh, Mussoorie, Badrinath, Kedarnath, Mukteshwar, Binsar, Joshimath, etc., are well-known places of interest in Uttarakhand, but our exploration focused on the lesser known jewels of Kumaon Uttarakhand. The places we visited were spread across the Kumaon districts of Almora, Bageshwar, Champawat, Nainital, Pithoragarh, and Udham Singh Nagar.

The places that we visited during our Kumaon trip were an exotic mix of experiences, each one of them unique in some way or the other.

Naukuchiatal – Naukuchiatal is a picture perfect place with an ethereal nine-cornered lake.

Sitlakhet – Sitlakhet is a beautiful hill station nestled high up in the hills with some great nature trails.

Kausani – Kausani is known as the Switzerland of India, a place with amazing views of the Himalayan ranges.

Abbott Mount –  Abbott Mount is a pristine getaway high above in the hills in the midst of Pine and Deodhar forests and with the spectre of a haunted hospital.

Chaukori – Chaukori is a serene hamlet with a lovely view of the Himalayan ranges of Kumaon Uttarakhand.

Nanakmatta – Nankmatta is a village with a serene Gurudwara that was blessed with the presence of Guru Nanak.

Patal Bhuvaneshwar – Patal Bhuvaneshwar is an ancient cave temple that offers a thrilling as well as mystical experience.

Tanakpur – Tanakpur is the last town on the Indo-Nepal border.

Lohaghat – Lohaghat is a beautiful town and the gateway to many of the wonders of Kumaon.

Ranikhet – Ranikhet , the enchanting hill station with one of the highest golf courses in Asia.

Bhimtal – Bhimtal is an enchanting place with a shimmering lake.

Katarmal –  Where stands a unique and rare Sun Temple.

Baijnath –  Famous for its ancient Shiva temple.

Mayavati – Advaita Ashrama –  The place where the Advaita Ashram which was visited by Swami Vivekananda stands.

Shyamalatal –  A beautiful lake with dark green waters and serenity that endears.

Our sojourn in Kumaon covered these places and the surrounding sights which created memories for a lifetime. We left Kumaon with lots of pictures to relive those magical moments again and again.

The Flowers of Kumaon

The Rhododendron is the state flower of Uttarakhand and one is welcomed by red carpets of these beautiful flowers during the summer months.

We, unfortunately, missed the flowering period of the rhododendrons, but the other flowers that bloomed everywhere in myriad colors more than made up for it.

The Hospitality of Kumaon

The simple and pristine way of life of the people and their warmth and hospitality brought a smile to our lips and is engraved permanently in our hearts.

The hospitality and warmth of Kumaon are not restricted only to its people, it goes much beyond as proved by some of the cute friends that we made on the trip.

The Food of Kumaon

The food of the Kumaon region much like its people is simple, authentic, natural, and rich in taste. Some of the dishes that we relished were Kumauni Raita, Bhatt Ki Dal, and Bal Mithai.

The entire road trip across the region of Kumaon Uttarakhand was a complete indulgence for the senses.

The entire trip was a smorgasbord of diverse experiences, some on the road and some at the destinations.

I have travelled by road to Kaushani once and had a good experience with the Kumauni food and nature. The first picture that comes to mind while thinking about the trip was lovely step-cultivation farms on the slope of the hill. A beautiful place with beautiful people and fantastic natural beauty.

Day 1 : Delhi – Corbett (300kms / 7hrs)

You will be welcomed at the Delhi railway station/airport by our Namaste India Trip representative who will drive you safely to the Corbett National Park. You can stop at the Garjia Devi temple for blessings to move onward safely into the Park. You will check into the hotel here for overnight stay.

Day 2 : In Corbett

Early next morning soon after breakfast you will be provided with jeep-safari at the Corbett National Park. Spend the evening taking rest and the night will be spent at the hotel.

Day 3 : Corbett – Ranikhet

Post breakfast you will drive to Ranikhet or the ‘The Queens Field’ where you will check into a hotel and spend the entire day taking leisurely walks through the town. Overnight stay will be at the hotel here.

Day 4 : Ranikhet – Kausani

After your breakfast is over you can proceed for sight-seeing which will include Jhoola Devi, Chaubatia, Kalika and Upat (golf courses) and Ram Mandir. Later on, you can drive up to Kausani, nature’s own reserve, to spend some quiet time with nature capturing the exotic view of the Himalayas. Spend the night at a hotel in Kausani.

Day 5 : Kausani – Baijnath

Start the day with the sunrise view through the Himalayas. Return to the hotel and after breakfast, you can visit the Bajinath Temple and the small, ancient town famed for magnificent Parvati (Hindu Goddess) stone idol. Get back to Kausani for spending the night here.

Day 6 : Kausani – Nainital

Post breakfast on day 6 you will leave for Nainital. Spend the entire day strolling across the Mall Road and shopping for wax candles which are pretty famous here. You can also consider a Naini Lake boat ride at your expense here. Spend the night in the hotel here.

Day 7 : In Nainital

Finish your breakfast and spend day 7 in exploring the hills of Nainital. The scenic beauty of various natural resources is worth the watch. Visit the various lakes like Sat Tal, Bhim Tal, and Naukuchia among others. You are to stay overnight at the hotel in Nainital.

Day 8 : Nainital – Delhi (330 Kms/7hrs)

On the final day, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast after which Namaste India Trip representative will drop you to Delhi railway station/airport through a comfortable drive. Take unforgettable memories back home with you.

117 kilometers from Nainital, Kausani is located at a height of 1890 meters in the Bageshwar district of Uttarakhand. Because of its exceptional natural splendor, Mahatma Gandhi named Kausani as the “Switzerland of India”. Kausani provides an exceptional vista of various Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi and Panchchuli. Moreover, it stands on the top the ridge amidst dense Pine trees overlooking Someshwar valley on one side and Garur and Baijnath Katyuri valley on the other on Almora-Bageshwar-Didihat Highway.

Early in the morning after breakfast, we will take you to the cultural heart of Kumaon, Almora. On reaching, check into a hotel. Later, you can visit some local areas to experience the exquisiteness of Almora. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Almora is a municipal board, a cantonment town in the Almora district in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Situated at a height of 1638 meters (5,500 feet) on a ridge at the southern edge of the Kumaon Hills, it is famous for cosseting the beauty of nature. Further, it is also recognized for its cultural richness, unique handicrafts, tempting delicacies and fascinating wildlife. All this is quite enough to entice tourists from far and wide.

Almora – Binsar

After breakfast, we will drive towards Binsar. Upon arrival, transfer to a hill resort. Later, we will take you to the Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary. Herein you can bask in the wilderness of the woods. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Binsar is a steep hamlet, located on the top of the Jhandi Dhar Hills. This entire region is enveloped by dense woods of Oak, Rhododendron, Pine and Deodar. The place is popular for having the splendid Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary.

Early morning after breakfast, we will take you to the famous shrines located in and around Binsar like Bineshwar Mahadev Temple and Jageshwar Temple Complex. Later, come back to the hotel for lunch. Day 2 Mussoorie

In the morning visit Kempty Falls, a popular tourist spot. Afternoon visit The Mall road for a cable ride, and later Surkhanda Devi Temple. The Shrine is reached after a dramatic 3 km climb to the summit, which offers a fantastic panoramic view of never ending stretches of pristine snow. Visit Gandhi Gate (the library). Overnight in Mussorie.

Day 3 Mussoorie - Corbett

Drive to Corbett Park, enroute stopping at Rishikesh, one of the most popular pilgrim centres and gateway to the Himalayan Shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamnotri. The Yoga Centres of Rishikesh have enhanced the significance of the place. On arrival in Corbett, check into your hotel. Overnight in Corbett.

Day 4 Corbett

Morning visit Corbett National Park for Jungle Safari. Corbett is a haven for Tigers as well as their prey, which includes four kinds of deer, wild boar and some lesser known animas. Leopards are mostly found in the hilly areas of the park. Some nocturnal cats found here are the leopard cat, jungle cat and fishing cat. Sloth bear is found in the lower regions of the park while the Himalayan black bear is seen in the higher hiils only. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Corbett.

Day 5 Corbett - Nainital

Morning after breakfast drive to Nainital (4 hrs). Check into the hotel. Within panoramic Kumaon lies the district of Nainital is at an altitude of 1938 meters. Its snow-capped peaks, verdant valleys, rolling meadows and crystal lakes have beckoned lovers of nature since ages. Dotted with lakes, Nainital has earned the epithet of "Lake District" of India. The most prominent of the lakes is Naini Lake ringed by hills and named after the Goddess Naini. The first recorded discovery goes back to the year 1841 when Mr. P. Barron of Shahajahanpur was so moved by the scenic splendor of the place that he had a house constructed by the name "Pilgrim Cottage" and gradually a township sprung up around the lake. Day 6 Nainital

• Tourist can enroll His / Her / their name(s) for the tour by paying a deposit (non-refundable) of INR 3000/- per person for Booking of any class in train and / or by air, additional difference amount is required. The difference should also be paid in advance. The Balance amount should be paid 15 days prior to the date of departure. If the balance amount is not paid before 15 days, it will be deemed as cancelled and the deposit will not be refunded. We reserve the right to cancel the tour, alter the Routes, Carriers, Time-Tables, Itinerary and Accommodation without prior notice.
• Tourist travels at their own risk. Neither the tour operator nor their representatives or staff accept any liabilities or responsibilities for any Damage, Loss, Injury, Accident, Death etc. during the tour howsoever it might have caused.
• It is necessary to book at least 60 days in advance before the schedule departure of the tour. We do not accept any responsibilities and liabilities for the Railway Tickets of the passengers who book with us for less than 60 days from the scheduled departure of the train. If we have to make any alternate arrangement, then the extra cost of making alternate arrangement should be borne by the passengers only.
• Berth Nos. & Coach Nos. of Railway Tickets are allotted by the computer and therefore passengers have to accept as they are given.
• There will be NO SERVICES & MEALS DURING TRAIN / BUS JOURNEYS.
• Any increase in Air / Bus Fares should be borne by the passenger only.
• We have published the names of the Hotels for each tour, even though we reserve the right to change the same, if the accommodation is not available in the Identified / Specified Hotel for the particular package tour due to reasons beyond our control. We shall make all our best efforts to shift the passengers to the Hotel maintaining / having more or less the same standards. No refund will be allowed when we have provided alternative / similar accommodation. The rooms shall be allotted as per the check-in time of the respective Hotels, and they shall have to be vacated as per the check-out time of the Hotel.
• The management reserves the right to take all necessary steps including suspending the passengers who creates trouble for the management or to the other fellow passengers.
• If due to any reason beyond our control like riots, accidents, flood, political unrest, bandh calls or any natural, or man made calamities, the tour programme needs to be changed or extended, then the additional expenditure for the same will be borne by the passengers. If any passenger has to leave the tour mid way due to any reason, then there shall be no refund for the remaining part of the tour and the expenses for returning back shall also be borne by the passengers only.
• If due to any reason beyond our control, we have to cancel some sight seeing places, there shall be no refund for the same. If a tour is cancelled from our part then the cost and responsibility of organising the new tour will be of passengers only.
• Any complain regarding our services like Hotels, Bus, etc, passengers are advised to inform our office immediately by Phone / Fax so that the same can be re-addressed on the spot, no complains or refund for the same be entertained after completion of the tour.
• Any dispute / claims subject to Surat Jurisdiction.
• Any change / additional Govt. Service tax levied must born by the passengers.
• Timings mentioned in the itinerary for the Bus / Flight journey are estimated only. There are frequent chances of delay in arrival / departure at destination due to various reasons.
• Postponement of journey is not allowed. It will be treated as cancellation and accordingly the cancellation charges will be applicable.

Day 01: delhi to nainital (320 km/8-9hrs journey one way) height: 2,084 mts..

Morning after breakfast, drive to Nainital. Check into the hotel arrival in Nainital. Overnight stay at Nainital.

Nainital - is situated in the Kumaon lower regions of the external Himalayas a ways off of 285 km from the state capital Dehradun and 320 km from New Delhi, the capital of India. Day 03: Nainital Almora Kausani(140kms / 3/4hrs drive one way) Height: 2384 MTS.

Morning after breakfast, drive for Kausani via Almora. Visit GoluDevta Mandir & Nanda Devi Temple in Almora. Later drive for Kausani. Check into the hotel arrival in Kausani. Overnight stay at Kausani.

Almora - Almora is arranged on an edge at the southern edge of the Kumaon Hills of the Central Himalaya run in the state of a pony seat formed hillock. The eastern part of the edge is known as Talifat and the western one is known as Selifat. The Almora Market is arranged at the highest point of the edge, where these two, Talifat and Selifat together end. It is encompassed by thick backwoods of pine and fir trees. Streaming close by the city are waterways of Koshi (Kaushiki) and Suyal (Salmale). The snow-topped Himalayas can be found out of sight.

Day 04: Kausani Height: 2384 MTS.

Kausani - Kausani is situated in Bageshwar region of Uttarakhand, India a good ways off of 40 km (25 mi) from Bageshwar city, the authoritative Headquarter of Bageshwar District. Dublin, we've arrived! Taylor Swift dazzles on Eras Tour

Taylor Swift fans are experiencing the sold-out Eras tour in Dublin this weekend.

The singer has brought her record-breaking tour to the Aviva Stadium in Ireland’s capital for three nights, beginning on Friday, with more than 150,000 Swifties in attendance.

Before Friday, it had been six years since Swift's last show in Dublin.

The 152-date Eras tour has become the most lucrative set of concerts in history.

And its arrival in Dublin is not the only big event in the Irish capital over the weekend - Pride, Latitude Festival, the GAA football All-Ireland quarter-finals and Shania Twain are attracting their own crowds to the city.

What happened on the first night of the Eras Tour in Dublin?

About 50,000 fans filled the Aviva Stadium to see the US musician on Friday evening.

Swift kicked off her time on the Emerald Isle with high praise for Ireland and its culture.

"Dublin, we've arrived!" she said. "You guys are making me feel so good, it's gone straight to my head. I feel very, very powerful."

The concert was filled with elaborate production, multiple costume changes and a setlist that spanned more than three hours and included dozens of songs, taking her fans on a chronological journey through her albums.

"Nobody does it like you. You know that right?" she said, going on to call Irish people "unmatched storytellers", with the "best accents".

In a now viral segment, Swift's dancer took on the Irish language, hollering "póg mo thóin" (which means kiss my butt), during a rendition of We Are Never Getting Back Together.

Before the gig, Swift had received a bouquet of flowers from Irish rock band U2, alongside a welcome note.

It read: "Dear Taylor, Welcome back to our hometown…leave some of it standing?!!!!"

How did dublin prepare for taylor swift.

Taylor Swift concerts are so big that garda (Irish police) management declared the three days as an "extraordinary event".

Special measures are being implemented to ensure that there are enough gardaí (officers) to police the city.

The policing bill for five Garth Brooks concerts in Croke Park in 2022 came to €380,000 (£320,000), and it is expected policing Taylor Swift’s three nights will cost about the same.

In Belfast, about 300 fans were preparing to make their way to Dublin on buses on Friday morning.

Speaking to BBC News NI, Lucy Glover, 18, said she had been looking forward to the gig “for so long".

"It's been a landmark and now it's here," Ms Glover said.

Lauren Shannon said "it’s like Christmas".

Monique Uprichard, 23, who was wearing a Lover album inspired dress, said: “I had to plan for the outfit, it's Taylor Swift."

'Swiftonomics'

The economic impact of this global superstar is now known as Swiftonomics.

Last year’s US leg of the Eras tour was the first in history to make more than $1bn (£792m). Now, it’s estimated the international tour will increase that figure to as much as $4bn (£3.1bn).

The hugely-anticipated UK leg could generate close to a £1bn boost for the economy and the only Irish city on the tour is expecting to be a beneficiary of a boost too.

The only similar global star who has had a run in Dublin has been Garth Brooks.

An estimated 400,000 fans attended his five-night stint in Croke Park.

Dublin Chamber of Commerce estimates that tourists travelling to those concerts provided a €35m boost to the economy. Could Swift do the same?

Dublin Chamber said the real benefit comes from those travelling from overseas.

Aebhric McGibney, its director of public and international affairs, said tourism will be the biggest beneficiary of the Eras tour.

“You can see people coming from all over the country to visit Dublin, and spend a bit of time here, which is fantastic.

"But the real economic impact comes from those who travelled from overseas and coming from Great Britain, Northern Ireland as far away as United States. And in general, the longer the person has to travel both the more time they'll spend here.”

Mr McGibney added that the 2,000 to 3,000 people who have come from the US “could easily spend a few thousand” euro each during their visit.

There are still hotel rooms available, some reaching more than €500 (£420) for one night, but there are still more pocket-friendly rooms available too.

Businesses around the Aviva and Dublin are planning on a bumper weekend with bottomless brunches, Taylor quizzes, and mug-making among the quirkier offerings.

How 'Swiftonomics' is impacting the music industry

Crowd-pleasers: the art of choosing the perfect setlist, wildest dreams about to come true for ni swifties.

The Bridge, a popular bar near the Aviva Stadium, has developed a Taylor Swift themed menu. The manager, Colm Ryan, said they are used to big events but none as big as Taylor.

“We always have rugby matches, Six Nations, things like that,” he said.

“And obviously a lot of concerts as well. We've had Pink and Rammstein both playing last weekend. But Taylor, she’s something on another level, the amount of people that come to support her is huge.

“She’s probably one of the biggest artists in the world right now.

“We've designed special cocktails this weekend named after a couple of her songs. So we have a Lavender Haze cocktail, and an Enchanted cocktail, along with slushies, you know, frozen daiquiris, I thought to go with the kind of stuff that hopefully weather permitting will fly out.”

Dublin Pottery Studio is running a Taylor-themed mug-making class for two nights, both of which sold out within an hour.

Manager Ciara Fullam said the idea came when most of their customers were painting their own Taylor Swift pottery regardless of the concerts.

“We noticed every weekend, people were painting Taylor Swift themes anyway,” she said.

How to get to the Aviva

If you were lucky enough to have secured tickets, there are some extra public transport services for the Taylor Swift concert.

Additional Dart train services, which operate around the Dublin city area, are available on all three nights.

Also 60 different bus routes from all over the country that have been approved by the National Transport Authority to provide dedicated services to the Aviva.

Translink is also running special return train services from Northern Ireland.

The concerts coincide with a number of other events in the Dublin area such as Pride and Longitude, so public transport will be busy.

Aviva Stadium is relatively close to the centre of Dublin and for those able to do so, it may make more sense to do that part of the journey on foot.

What time do the concerts start and end?

The event promoter MCD has said gates to the Eras Tour open at 17:00 local time, however, some fans with early entry packages may be let into the venue from 15:00.

The shows start at 18:00 with opening act Paramore.

Swift then begins her mammoth three-and-a-half hour set from about 19:00.

MCD has also warned that briefcases, bags, luggage or purses larger than a clutch bag are prohibited.

For those looking for merchandise, it is available at the 3Arena in Dublin's North Wall Quay until Sunday.

U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials 2024 becomes most watched Olympic trials since 2016 with record-breaking average number of viewers on concluding day

T he 2024 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials recorded the highest number of NBC viewers, 7.6 million, and peaked at 8.2 million on the final day. Since the 2016 Rio Olympic Trials, the recently concluded event was the most-watched Olympic Trials.

The U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials at Target Center, Minneapolis, was a successful event. Reigning world champion and the most decorated gymnast in history, Simone Biles, claimed the all-around victory with a total of 117.225. Suni Lee trailed in silver with 111.675 and Jordan Chiles followed with 111.425. The top three finishers have punched their tickets to Paris.

Moreover, the fourth and fifth-place finishers, Jade Carey and Hezyl Rivera, have made it to Team USA for the Paris Olympics. Leanne Wong and Joscelyn Roberson will also fly to the Summer Games as alternates.

The viewers recorded across NBC was 7.6 million on the final night of the U.S Olympic Gymnastics Trials. It rose to 8.2 million between 10 p.m. ET and 10:15 p.m. ET when the final rotation of the athletes was reaching the end.

In comparison, the 2020 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials in 2021 amassed only 5.9 million viewers across NBC since it was a COVID-19-delayed event. This year, there was an increase of 24% in average viewers. However, the 2024 Trials couldn't outdo the viewership count of 2016, which averaged 8.6 million viewers.

The track and field trials also saw a significant rise in viewership as 4.5 million viewers watched the athletes vie for Paris qualification across NBC and Peacock.

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics was not a pleasant Olympiad for the US team, since Simone Biles faced 'twisties' and withdrew midway through the team finals. Suni Lee replaced her on the floor but the team missed out on the team gold.

Lee finished on top of the all-around podium and won the bronze in the uneven bars, becoming the first Asian American woman to win the overall title at the Olympics.

Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey, who qualified for the Paris Olympics after a stellar show at the 2024 U.S. Olympic Gymnastics Trials, were a part of the Tokyo Olympics. The fifth qualifier, Hezly Rivera will be making her Olympics debut .

Since the four women couldn't perform their best in Tokyo, they are headed to a 'redemption tour' in Paris, as claimed by Chiles and Lee.

"We have a lot of weight on our shoulders to go out there and prove that we're better athletes," Biles said in a post-event conversation [at 0:20] (via Gymnastics_Now on X).

The gymnastics events will commence on July 27 and conclude on August 5, 2024, at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

PGA TOUR LIVE coverage will begin at 1 p.m. The final pairing of Akshay Bhatia, Aaron Rai and Taylor Montgomery are set to tee off at 3 p.m. off the first tee.

Update, Saturday, 11:00 a.m. ET: Round 3 has been suspended an additional 30 minutes, with the first tee time set to begin at 12:18 p.m. ET. Preferred lies are in effect for the third round.

Update: Saturday, 9:00 a.m. ET: Round 3 has been suspended and tee times are delayed one hour, set to range from 11:48 a.m. ET to 2 p.m. ET.

Saturday's third-round tee times at the Rocket Mortgage Classic were moved up due to anticipated inclement weather, PGA TOUR Communications announced Friday. Rain and thunderstorms are expected to move east of Detroit Golf Club between 9:30-10 a.m. ET. Tee times are set to range from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. off split tees from Nos. 1 and 10.

Here is a look at the day-by-day weather forecast for the final two rounds:

Saturday: An isolated shower or thunderstorm will remain possible into the early afternoon before drier conditions return for the rest of the day. The cold front may produce an isolated t-storm as it passes tonight. Otherwise mostly cloudy, warm and humid conditions can be expected with highs in the mid-80s.

Sunday: It will be a much cooler and breezy day behind the front with temperatures starting in the low 60s and gradually warming to near 70 degrees during the afternoon. An NNW wind of 10-15 gusting to 20 mph will make it feel cooler at times.

Hugh Grant took to social media on Sunday to share his experience of attending Taylor Swift ‘s Eras Tour in London, calling the show “incredible.” The actor also implied that he did tequila shots with Swift’s “excellent if gigantic” boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce.

In a post on X , Grant said: “Dear @taylorswift13, You have an incredible show, an amazing and v hospitable team and excellent if gigantic boyfriend (#tequilashots.). Thanks so much from one ageing London boy, wife and thrilled 8 year old #halfgirlhalfbracelet.”

Sunday night marks the last of three shows at Wembley Stadium, though Swift will return in August for another five dates to end the European leg of the tour.
