Let’s hunt for some sunrise photos before starting your second day tripping. After breakfast, wind up the mountain to Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark. Stop over in Quan Ba and Yen Minh to lay your eyes on the spectacular natural scenes before dining in an exotic tasty lunch in Yen Minh town and heading to Dong Van afterwards.

Treating yourself with a pleasant 1.5-hour walk on secret mountain trails crossing some local Hmong villages before paying a visit to the ancient Palace of Hmong King in Sa Phin Valley. Arrive Dong Van at 4.30PM. If time permits, are you down for an easy walk up the vacant French Fortress where the stunning panoramic of the town at sunset gets into your eyes.

The third day begins with a visit to Dong Van Market. If it’s Sunday, a unique weekly market fair of Hmong people would be displayed. You can also enjoy a typically morning Vietnamese coffee sip in Dong Van Old Quarter. After the market, a 20-min drive transfers you to a hiking point set at Ma Pi Leng Pass. A later 2-hour walk takes you to the top of the pass after winding through the local Hmong tribes, their corn fields, a strolling via the high corridor path on the edge of the mountain looking down to Nho Que River and Tu San Canyon. Hit the road again and prepare for an absolute panoramic view above Ban Gioc Waterfall, the fourth biggest border waterfall in the world between Vietnam and China. Day 5: Quang Uyen – Ba Be Lake

Day five starts with a 3-hour drive to Ba Be Lake through 5 different spectacular passes around the mountain roads. First, arrive at Cho Ra Town at lunch time before getting ready to reach your homestay in Pac Ngoi Village where you start a 8-km biking on a local path to Hua Ma Cave, known as the most beautiful limestone cave in the Northeast face Vietnam.

Spend 1 hour hiking to observe the cave and admire the beauty of stalactites and stalagmites before getting back to Ba Be Lake at Pac Ngoi Village. For those who are new, Pac Ngoi is an original Tay village situated by the lake.

After keeping your baggage at the homestay, walk further to Pac Ngoi Wharf from which you can join in kayaking or cooling off in the fresh water.

Enjoy the last breakfast in this rural paradise before a 3-hour boating around the lake. The boat takes you to Cam Village filled with the greenish nature, smiley people and native schools located by the bank of the Nang River. There enjoy a short walk to meet and discover the daily life of Tay people. Continue to Puong Cave, home to the stunning limestone stalactites, stalagmites and millions of bats. End at Buoc Lom Wharf where you make a farewell to Ba Be and return to Hanoi.

Sáng: 05h30 Xe và hướng dẫn viên tour du lịch Đông Bắc đón quý khách tại điểm hẹn trong thành phố khởi hành đi Hà Giang, trên đường đoàn dừng chân nghỉ ngơi ăn sáng ( tự túc), sau đó tiếp tục hành trình đi Hà Giang. 12h30 Đoàn nghỉ ăn trưa tại Tp Hà Giang Chiều: Sau bữa trưa. HDV tour du lịch Đông Bắc đưa Quý khách đi Hà Giang khởi hành đi Cổng Trời Quản Bạ – Núi Đôi Cô Tiên. Trên đường đi đoàn chinh phục và ngắm dốc Bắc Xum dài 7km, đứng từ trên đỉnh núi ngắm toàn cảnh cung đường của Dốc vô cũng kỳ vỹ. Mắm Châu Đốc

Những hàng cá khô xếp dài, những “núi” mắm là đặc sản An Giang - Châu Đốc mà bất cứ vị khách nào tới đâu đều mua về làm quà. Mắm Châu Đốc ngon có tiếng với bạt ngàn loại khác nhau với hương vị đặc biệt riêng không loại nào giống loại nào. Từ mắm cá lóc, cá trèn cho tới mắm cá linh, cá sặc… tất cả đều nguyên chất, thơm ngon và đảm bảo nguồn dinh dưỡng dồi dào.

Mắm ở Châu Đốc không giống nước mắm bạn thường hay ăn đã chắt thành nước mà mắm Châu Đốc vẫn còn nguyên hình dạng của các loại cá. Vì từng loại cá mà cách thức chế biến cũng sẽ khác nhau, có loại để nguyên con, loại xé nhỏ, loại thì lóc lấy phi lê hoặc để cả xương. Điểm đặc biệt ở xứ mắm Châu Đốc là đường dùng làm mắm là đường thốt nốt – đặc sản An giang chứ không phải đường mía như nhiều nơi khác. Chút mắm, thêm ít đường thốt nốt, chút đường trắng vào nêm là được bát mắm có vị ngọt mặn thanh thanh, ăn kèm rau sống, chuối chát và chút thịt ba rọi (thịt ba chỉ) luộc là ngon quên lối về.

Nơi bán mắm nhiều nhất xứ mắm phải kể đến chợ Châu Đốc. Đến An Giang đừng quên mua mắm về làm quà cho người nhà. Bạn có thể mua thử loại mắm thái ngon nhất nhì nơi này. Đó là mắm lóc ngon được bỏ da, bỏ xương, xé nhỏ trộn với đủ đủ xắt sợi cùng với thịt ba chỉ ram trộn với thính, đường, ớt cực mê. Hãy nhờ người bán hàng gói lại cẩn thận để chúng không nặng mùi khi mang đi tàu, xe nhé!

Thốt nốt

Thổ nhưỡng An Giang quá phù hợp với loài cây thân thẳng có thể chịu ngập mặn chịu khô hạn tốt như thốt nốt. Loài này được trồng không chỉ vì hợp thổ nhưỡng mà còn vì công năng đa dạng: nước giải khát, làm đường, làm bánh. Nếu làm nước giải khát thì vị thốt nốt tươi mát hơn dừa, làm đường thì vị ngọt thanh hơn mía, làm bánh thì thơm bùi hơn cả hương liệu.

Vì là đặc sản hạng nhất nên thốt nốt tươi dễ dàng mua được khi đặt chân đến An Giang, nhưng để đảm bảo dinh dưỡng, vệ sinh và bảo quản tốt cho mục đích làm quà thì nên mua loại ngâm sẵn trong hũ. Kinh nghiệm của người dân cho biết, những hũ thốt nốt như vậy có thể để được một năm, còn loại tươi thì chỉ sử dụng trong ngày không để được lâu.

Các loại cá khô

Ngoài các loại cá tôm tươi sống như mắm Châu Đốc, An giang còn có các loại đồ khô đã được người dân làm sạch sẽ và tẩm ướp gia vị vừa ăn. Đây cũng là một lựa chọn không tồi nếu bạn muốn mua đặc sản làm quà An Giang cho bạn bè và người thân. Các bạn có thể tham khảo một số loại đồ khô như: khô cá basa, khô cá sặc, khô bò, khô rắn…

Đường thốt nốt

Châu Đốc là cái nôi của xứ đường thốt nốt vì thế mua đặc sản này về làm quà rất phù hợp. Khác với mía lấy đường từ thân, củ cải đường cho đường từ củ, cây thốt nốt cho đường ngọt từ nước mật được chắt chiu từ buồng hoa của cây. Người dân vào mùa làm đường thốt nốt từ tháng 11 đến tháng 5 năm sau. Loại đường này có vị thơm, béo, ngọt thanh được cắt thành khoang tròn, to, màu vàng nhạt, ăn thanh mát.

Đường thốt nốt dùng để nấu chè đậu xanh sẽ rất thơm ngon. Chúng không chỉ mang đến tác dụng tốt cho sức khỏe mà để giải nhiệt mùa hè cũng rất phù hợp. Thế nên khách du lịch trong nước và khách du lịch quốc tế đều rất yêu thích loại đặc sản này. Ghé An Giang đừng quên mua chút đường thốt nốt.

Thực ra, An Giang không có thổ nhưỡng phù hợp để trồng mây gai. Tuy nhiên, nhờ vị trí biên giới giáp Campuchia nên loài quả này khá phổ biến ở An Giang. Và vì độ hiếm, ngay cả thành phố lớn cũng ít khi có mà mây gai hay được mọi người lựa chọn đặc sản An Giang làm quà.

Quả mây cam khi xanh hoặc đen khi chín, xung quanh vỏ có gai nhỏ, khi bóc lớp vỏ ngoài lộ ra múi nhỏ bên trong thường từ 2 đến 3 múi. Vị ngọt chua khá dễ ăn, mang mùi thơm của mít và một chút mùi quả dại của rừng núi.

Bánh phồng Phú Mỹ

Loại bánh này được chế biến từ loại nếp ngon ở vùng đồng bằng phù sa được bồi đắp quanh năm, có màu trắng trong mà khó có nơi nào sánh được. Nhờ vậy mà bánh có hương vị rất đặc trưng, độ thơm, ngọt, béo rất khác so với những nơi khác.

Bánh phồng Phú Mỹ khi phồng to sẽ như hình cái quạt nan, có độ giòn, xốp, mềm tan trong miệng khi thưởng thức. Đây là một đặc sản truyền thống An Giang mà bạn không bỏ qua nếu muốn mua quà về cho bạn bè.

Tung lò mò (lạp xưởng bò) là đặc sản An Giang làm quà chế biến từ thịt bò với vị thơm ngon được nhiều du khách mua về cho người thân. Đây cũng là một trong số những món ăn đặc biệt ấn tượng mà người Chăm ở An Giang đặc biệt yêu thích. Món ăn này hấp dẫn người ta ở cả công đoạn lựa chọn nguyên liệu cho tới khâu chế biến.

Để làm được món tung lò mò ngon đúng điệu, người ta cần lựa chọn thịt bò nạc (loại thịt được lọc xương hoặc thịt đùi). Sau đó người ta sẽ lọc bỏ sạch gân, mỡ, rửa sạch, thái mỏng, ướp nguyên liệu đường, muối tinh, thính và phụ gia.

Lớp vỏ bọc của tung lò mò được làm từ lòng bò. Người chế biến sẽ cạo sạch, rửa nước và lộn lại mặt phải, phơi khô lớp mặt rồi đem nhồi thịt đã ướp vào. Công đoạn cuối cùng là người ta sẽ dùng dây mềm thắt thành từng khúc và đem phơi nắng. Cứ khoảng 3 nắng là cho ra một mẻ tung lò mò ngon. Tuy vậy, thơm ngon nhất vẫn là tung lò mò phơi được 1 – 2 tháng. Lúc này món đặc sản khô, thịt kết chặt, khi chế biến nướng hay chiên cũng đều cho ra một món ăn không nơi nào sánh kịp.

Khi ăn tung lò mò, bạn phải ăn kèm chuối chát, rau sống và chấm muối tiêu vắt chanh. Món đặc sản từ đó mới dậy mùi, thơm hương và đậm vị. Đương nhiên với sức hấp dẫn không thể chối từ này, bạn sẽ không bỏ lỡ món đặc sản An Giang làm quà này cho gia đình, bạn bè đúng không nào?
