BELIZE CITY TOUR

Not only is Belize City your gate way to mystic Mayan Sites (only found in Central America), adventurous caves, rivers, flora, fauna and relaxing breathing beaches, but is also filled with history. Belize City has the only manual swing bridge in the world and is still being swung daily. The oldest Anglican Cathedral Church in Central America, St. John’s Cathedral, was built in 1812 from brick brought as ballast from European sailing ships. Over the years, Government House (now a Museum) was used as an administrative office and living quarters for the governors of Belize. This was built in the early 1800 with a combination of Caribbean Vernacular and English Urban architecture. The Lighthouse monument at the Fort George Point towers over the harbor entrance. This was built from money donated to the country by Belize’s greatest benefactor – Baron Bliss, the 4th Baron of Portugal. At his request, he was entombed in front of the lighthouse which he designed himself prior to his death.

At Ski.com, the staff lives and breathes ski culture. Our more than 65 Mountain Travel Experts are ski and snowboard enthusiasts who average 28 years of experience in the ski industry. They know the intimate details about each resort because they’ve skied the mountains, stayed at the properties and eaten at the restaurants.

These experiences allow them to accurately determine which resort(s) and accommodation(s) is perfect for each customer, based on their interests and budget.

In 1971, Barry Lefkowitz and Skip Strasbourger started S&L Travel Partners in Aspen, Colorado. According to legend, Barry and Skip began their business out of a two-bedroom hotel suite in the Continental Inn, where they used a makeshift pinboard map of North America to keep track of clients’ travel plans.

After quickly gaining ground as a leader in the burgeoning ski travel industry, the two savvy ski-town entrepreneurs changed the brand name to Aspen Ski Tours in 1974, which would remain the company title for the next two-plus decades. Then in 1999, after purchasing the highly sought-after domain name, Ski.com, Aspen Ski Tours assumed a technology-focused, 21st century brand identity to better showcase its diverse product offerings.

In September 2004, Ski.com acquired Lynx Vacations, GoWest Tours, Adventures on Skis, Sportours, and AnyMountain Tours in order to expand its domestic operations and to provide international and group travel. In June of 2010, Ski.com acquired Rocky Mountain Tours to further solidify its position as the leader in the industry. 2021 marks the 50th anniversary since Skip and Barry founded S&L Travel Partners and to this day, our Mountain Travel Experts remain deeply committed to passing along unforgettable mountain experiences to all of our beloved customers.

Planning an international trip to the Caribbean can be a daunting task. L+S personally travels to every resort to vet it and can make excellent suggestions based off your needs. Wow, Shawna is AMAZING! We used her to book a trip to Mexico at an all-inclusive for a friend’s birthday party and everything about the trip was phenomenal! The resort was excellent, and Shawna was able to get a great price and organized all of the necessary transfers to and from the airport. One of the people in our party had to delay their arrival and Shawna was able to quickly setup a new transfer. She briefed us with a Zoom call to go over everything the resort has to offer and what to expect while traveling during COVID-19. We were able to bypass hoards of people at the airport because Shawna let us know which forms to fill out online ahead of time. Absolutely will be using Shawna and the L+S Travel team for future trips!
