Justin Timberlake Confirms *NSYNC Reunion on Forthcoming Album

Justin Timberlake has revealed the reunion of *NSYNC. Hitting TikTok, Timberlake showed off the vinyl packaging for his forthcoming album, Everything I Thought It Was . During the video, fans noticed a track titled “Paradise,” which will bring the boy band back together.

Last week, Justin Timberlake has released his latest track, “Drown,” via RCA Records. Co-written by Timberlake, Louis Bell, Henry Walter, Amy Allen, and Kenyon Dixon, and produced by Louis Bell and Cirkut, the song promises a fresh musical direction for the artist.

In addition to the new release, Timberlake has announced the European and UK leg of his highly anticipated The Forget Tomorrow World Tour . Produced by Live Nation, the tour will feature thirteen new shows across eight countries, including Poland, Germany, Belgium, the UK, Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden, and France.

Timberlake’s recent single and music video, “ Selfish ,” amassed over 57 million streams worldwide and garnered over 14 million views on YouTube. The artist also made a special musical guest appearance on NBC’s Saturday Night Live, performing “ Selfish ” and “ Sanctified ” feat. Tobe Nwigwe.

Fans can look forward to Timberlake’s sixth album, Everything I Thought It Was , scheduled for release on March 15th, promising an exciting new chapter in his musical journey.

Inside reports that Colburn’s father, an exec at America On line, hired the group to visit the Beth Sholom synagogue on Sunday to provide one hell of a bat mitzvah gift in the form of a personal concert complete with a performance with the young girl. But before you start bugging your parent about getting the group to play your 4th of July cook-out, keep this in mind: Inside speculates that Colburn’s family shelled out more than $1 million to land the boys for the day.

10 – Britney Spears and ‘NSYNC made a quick trip to Vancouver last weekend to shoot a McDonald’s commercial, much to the delight of about 200 unsuspecting schoolkids who had been chosen as extras. According to production manager Christian Allen, the casting call went out shrouded in secrecy, and most of the extras, aged six to 14, did not know they’d be seeing the performers until the curtain dropped to reveal Spears at the start of the shoot. The production had originally been scheduled for Los Angeles, but last-minute union issues saw it move to a suburban Vancouver location. A McDonald’s franchise in Surrey, British Columbia, was shut down from Thursday to Sunday as crews built a stage behind the restaurant in the shadow of its golden arches. During the mock performance, which was staged on Saturday, Spears lip-synced her current hit, “Oops!… I Did It Again,” while ‘NSYNC did the same to its previous single, “Bye, Bye, Bye.” A spokesperson for the production company Flying Tiger Films told MTV News that the performers were flown in to Vancouver via private planes on Friday following ‘NSYNC’s performance in Pasadena. Security at the shoot was extremely tight, and the few members of the media who managed to find the set were kept at arms’ length. Freelance photographer Jeff Vinnick told MTV News that he paid the resident of a house next door to the restaurant $300 to allow him to shoot from the balcony, which overlooked the high fences that had been erected around the set. He was soon spotted by the production crew, and according to Vinnick, the crew suspended the operation until a crew member could be dispatched to offer the home owner more money to ask the photographer to leave.

21 – ‘NSYNC Inks Deal For New Line Of Flavored Lip Balms: Just exactly what flavor is ‘NSYNC’s Joey Fatone? Well, according to a licensing deal the Orlando boy band has just struck with Famous Fixins for a line of Lip Balms, Fatone’s flavor is Green Apple – or, at least that’s what his Lip Balm will taste like. The ‘NSYNC brand of Lip Balms are expected to his store shelves in mid-summer, and will be available as a five-pack as well as separately. In addition to Fatone’s Green Apple balm, the other respective members of ‘N SYNC will also get their own flavors: JC Chasez – Watermelon, Lance Bass – Blue Raspberry, Chris Kirkpatrick – Strawberry, and Justin Timberlake – Vanilla.

25 – ‘NSYNC Show Derailed By Weather: Only an act of God can come between ‘NSYNC and its fans. The heartthrobs were slated to play the Route 66 Speedway in Joliet, Illinois on Sunday, but extreme weather conditions ripped through the venue two days earlier leaving behind structural damage. The group was nowhere near Joliet when a mini-tornado (venue spokespeople referred to it as a “micro-burst”) ripped through the speedway, tearing a scaffolding away from the stage and prompting the show’s cancellation. The venue notes that no one was injured in the incident. The group is expected to reschedule the show for August 2, which would then make it the last date of the current leg of ‘NSYNC’s U.S. tour.

NSync's reunion at the MTV VMAs has left fans wanting more. The good news is, they're going to get it — but just how much more remains to be seen.

The boy band — consisting of Joey Fatone, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Justin Timberlake — was onstage together Tuesday for the first time in 10 years. While fans speculated they would perform, the reunion was to present Best Pop Video to Taylor Swift. While Swift tried to get details about a possible reunion, it was two more days until Timberlake confirmed they're releasing their first single in 22 years. "Better Place" will be featured in Trolls Band Together, the franchise Timberlake loans his voice to.

But is NSync going to tour? Drop an album? Here's what's official and what's not...

A single? Yes! As mentioned, their first song in over two decades will be released on Sept. 29 — nearly two months before Trolls Band Together comes out on Nov. 17. Timberlake shared a behind-the-scenes look at the studio session featuring the fab five and called it "a love letter to our fans."

An album? No. While Chasez told a paparazzo over the weekend that "anything is possible" in terms of a reunion on the heels of this single, there are no official plans for an album — yet. Their last studio album was 2001's Celebrity. The band paused in 2002 and then two years later Timberlake dropped his first solo album, Justified , and became the breakout megastar, also going on to have a film career. That really spelled the end of NSync.

While there are no official plans for an album, even the band members seem to be dropping teases of what's to come. A video shared by Bass and Fatone on Sunday — with a Christmas theme — has led to speculation there could be a holiday album coming. Their mentions of pie in the clip has others wondering the hypothetical album could be Pi Day release, on March 14. Neither is official, but we'd hope if anything happens, it would be on May 1 , for obvious reasons.

A tour? Not yet. Fatone was at '90s Con in Florida over the weekend and told the eager crowd: "And no, I don’t know if there is a tour!" He went on to say, "If the fans want it that much, yell at the record company, yell at Sony, yell at RCA, yell at them to say that they need an NSync album. Because Justin's gonna be coming out with his album," which Timberlake producer Timbaland already confirmed was completed and ready for release. "So he's probably going to be doing a tour... Then we're going to hopefully — cross our fingers, can't promise — but hopefully do something together."

According to a Page Six report, Timberlake is planning a big U.S. tour for 2024. However, seeing as his image has taken some hits over the last few years , a career reboot with his old pals could be the even better move. And it would bring in big bucks for all: Billboard reported that an NSync tour could bring in up to $100 million.

Band basics: The boy band was formed by Kirkpatrick in Orlando, Fla., in 1995. The five-member group rose to superstardom with hits including "Bye Bye Bye," "It's Gonna Be Me" and "This I Promise You." They put out four studio albums and were nominated for eight Grammys before they went on hiatus in 2002. Timberlake peeled off to do his own thing two years later, with such success, made it a permanent thing. The group members have remained friendly, however, and all reunited for a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2018 before their reunion this month at the VMAs.

Sisqo Confirmed For 'NSYNC Tour

After much speculation, Sisqo has been finally been confirmed as a featured act for 'NSYNC's upcoming North American tour, which is scheduled to kick off on May 9 in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Based on the current top ten status of 'NSYNC's "No Strings Attached" and Sisqo's "Unleash The Dragon," the concert pairing easily becomes one of the premier draws of the summer touring season.

It was “Paradise” for fans of ‘N Sync during Justin Timberlake’s concert in Los Angeles.

Instead of saying “Bye, Bye, Bye” Timberlake welcomed his bandmates in what may have been one of the biggest reunions in recent years.

Variety reported it was the first time Timberlake performed with ‘N Sync since 2013, during the MTV Video Music Awards where JT received the Video Vanguard Award.

Wednesday’s show was part of a series of concerts promoting his new album “Everything I Thought I Was.” The group’s song “Paradise” is part of the album’s release on Friday.

Tickets to the “One Night Only” show at The Wiltern were free, and there had been rumors that something special was going to happen with many fans speculating that ‘N Sync would take the stage.

Fans were not disappointed when the beginning of “Gone” started playing and the rising curtain showed the other four members of the band: JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone. They did what Variety called a “mini-set” of their biggest hits along with “Paradise.”

This isn’t the first collaboration between Timberlake and the rest of his former band. They recorded “Better Place” for the “ Trolls Band Together ” soundtrack. Timberlake provides the voice of one of the main Troll characters, Branch.

Timberlake also shared a photo on Instagram of an empty stage with four empty stools on it, USA Today reported.

Bass responded to the post, “That was fun. Let’s do it again soon.”

‘N Sync started in 1995 and released their self-titled album in 1998. They ended up earning nine Top 10 hits on the Billboard Pop Airplay chart, three multiplatinum albums and eight Grammy nominations, USA Today reported.

Timberlake’s North American tour starts next month before he heads to Europe and returns to North America in the fall.

S ix years between albums is nothing for Justin Timberlake. After years of releasing music only as a feature, the former *NSYNC star is back, releasing his sixth record titled  Everything I Thought It Was .

That's not the only exciting news for Timberlake fans. The singer has embarked on his accompanying tour, performing his first concert in Vancouver in April. The Forget Tomorrow Tour continues with its summer and fall schedule, hitting San Antonio, Texas, on May 29 before heading around North America and Europe until December.

Before his latest tour, Timberlake returned to the big stage in March to reunite the beloved boy band. Members of *NSYNC gave a one-night-only performance in Los Angeles 10 years after their last concert. Nothing is confirmed, but rumor has it this won't be the last time the group says bye, bye, bye.
