Complete Guide to Disney Wish Restaurants + Dining

Disney Wish Restaurants - The Bayou

When you’re planning a cruise, one of the things you may look forward to the most is the seemingly endless amount of dining you can do. And the Disney Wish restaurants definitely know how to treat you to some vacation meals! So here’s our full guide to dining on the Disney Wish , helping you parse out the different dining options and understand how Disney’s rotational dining works.

How Does Dining Work on a Disney Cruise?

Let’s start with how dining works on Disney Cruise Line.

For breakfast and lunch, there are casual dining options you can choose from. Or you can choose to eat at a sit-down restaurant. For dinner though, you will be assigned a restaurant and a dining time as part of Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining.

Disney Cruise Line Rotational Dining

Disney Cruise Line uses a rotational dining system for dinner. So, when you get on the ship, you’ll find your party assigned to a specific restaurant each night.

Each Disney Cruise ships has three main restaurants. On the Disney Wish these are 1923, Worlds of Marvel, and Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure.

One of my favorite things about rotational dining (besides getting to experience all the restaurants on the ship) is that your servers rotate with you . This means that you really get to know them and they get to know you. And as your time on the ship goes on, they’ll start to have things ready for you, like already having kids’ drinks at their places or knowing you’ll want to order coffee after dinner.

Planning a cruise on a different ship? Here’s our full guide to dining on the Disney Magic !

Assigned Seating Time

There are two assigned seating times on Disney Cruises, the early dinner at 5:45 and the late dinner at 8:00.

Of course, most families with kids choose the earlier time, while parties of adults and older children often choose the later time.

And it’s set so that your evening entertainment is opposite your dinner seating . So, if you have the early dinner time, you’ll go to a show after dinner. And if you have the later dinner time, you’ll see your show first.

When you book your cruise, you can choose your dinner seating time. However, if you get on the ship and aren’t happy with your dinner time and need to change it, you can go and talk to guest services.

What Disney Wish Restaurants Are Included in the Price of Your Cruise?

The price of your cruise will include all of the dining you need on your cruise, however it won’t necessarily include all the dining you might want.

Here’s what’s included:

  • Dining at the three main rotational dinner restaurants
  • Breakfast at either Marceline Market or the sit-down restaurant (usually on the Wish it’s 1923)
  • Lunch & snacks at either Marceline Market, Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods, or the sit-down restaurant
  • Room Service (be sure to tip though!)

What’s not included:

  • Palo Steakhouse

Olaf’s Royal Picnic

  • Specialty Drinks and Alcoholic Drinks (even at rotational dining restaurants)
  • Specialty Coffees
  • Treats at Inside Out: Joyful Sweets
  • Food or drinks at any of the lounges

Disney Wish Restaurants: Rotational Dining

There are three rotational dining restaurants on the Disney Wish: 1923, Worlds of Marvel, and Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure.

They all have unique menus, and two of the three of them also include an entertainment aspect.

Location: Deck 3 Included in Cruise Price: Yes

1923 is named for the year that the Walt Disney Company was founded. Inside you’ll find all kinds of memorabilia and animation art from the history of Disney movies. So definitely take some time to stroll around the restaurant and look at the display!

It’s also meant to be themed for 1920s glamour, so they have plush seats and gold accents.

The menu evokes California fine-dining, with fresh foods and and a bit of fusion.

The bread service is Fig and Olive Bread with Honey Butter Dip , which I thought was fantastic. I had a hard time choosing an appetizer, but landed on the Hyperion Four-Cheese Tri-Color Tortelloni which I thought were great. For my meal, I had the 1923 Peppered Filet Mignon . The steak and sauce were both perfect, but the green beans left a lot to be desired.

Filet Mignon at 1923

My favorite part may have been the dessert though! I had the Hollywood Hills Hot Chocolate Fudge Sundae , which was so fun and made me feel like a kid, while also being classy enough for the space.

The whole restaurant was a great experience! And this is definitely more of the “fine dining” experience on the ship, because, as you’ll see, the other two restaurants are more character driven.

Worlds of Marvel

Location: Deck 4 Included in Cruise Price: Yes

Worlds of Marvel is such a unique dining experience! Not only is the food super imaginative, but the entertainment is so fun, especially for super-hero loving kids (and adults).

Let start with the food. Many of the menu items are based off of Marvel superheroes and movies, but really this is mostly in the title. What you’ll find in practicality, is fusion dishes from cuisine around the world, including Italian, Asian, and Latin.

And it starts with the funky bread service, a Marble Loaf with Red Bell Pepper Dipping Sauce . For my appetizer I had the Sauteed Crimini and Oyster Mushrooms , which were fine, but I felt like they needed a crostini or something.

My main dish the Chicken Schnitzel which I loved, but my mother-in-law had the Ricotta Gnocchi (one of the vegetarian options) and we all agreed it was the best dish at the table.

Chicken Schnitzel at Worlds of Marvel

For dessert I had the Nano Dobos Torta , because I will always order the chocolate option. It was good, but not particularly memorable.

Then we have to talk about the entertainment! Throughout dinner, the screens around the restaurant will have different segments with Ant Man and the Wasp , who are trying to test out a new Quantum Core to shrink objects. There are various mishaps, which you’ll participate in by pressing the buttons on the Quantum Cores on your table, until it ends in a super hero battle.

The show is fun, and kids will especially love it. But I did feel like the time we waited between show segments were awkward. And it was also VERY loud. So be prepared for that if you’re sensitive to noise.

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

Location: Deck 5 Included in Cruise Price: Yes

Arendelle may have been my favorite dining experience of all three of the rotational options! It’s a restaurant themed after Frozen , and includes a center stage where the entertainment is pretty constant throughout dinner. Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, and Olaf visit of course. But mainly there are Arendelle musicians performing various hits from the movies.

I also thought the food here was excellent. Most of it has a Nordic twist , and I loved it.

Pro Tip: Always listen to your servers and the dishes they recommend! They really know what dish is best at each restaurant!

The bread service here is Six-Grain Viking Loaf with Roasted Onion Dip , which was good. And for my appetizer, I got the Jarlsberg Cheese & Rosemary Ham Tart which had good flavor, although did feel like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a little long. However, the dish they are especially known for is Elsa’s Royal Baked Scallops .

Baked Scallops from Arendelle

The main dish to get here is the Arendelle Kjottkake . These are meatballs with a rosemary sauce and lingonberry chutney that are served on top of egg noodles. It was fantastic, and definitely the best dish at our table!

The Signature Dessert here is The Troll Family Rock Chocolate Bar, which I thought was the best chocolate dessert I had on the cruise.

So overall, this was my favorite restaurant, and I definitely wouldn’t skip dining here!

Troll Family Rock Chocolate Bar

Special Menu Nights

Often, Disney Cruise Line offers special menu nights on the ship, depending on your itinerary. These are often themed to go along with the entertainment.

However, the Disney Wish only offers special menus on their 4-night sailings, which is a Pirate Night menu. While 3-night sailing also have a Pirate Night, the restaurants don’t join in and instead offer their regular menus.

If you are on a 4-night sailing with a Pirate Night menu, all three rotational dining restaurants will offer the same menu.

The menu is called “Pirates in the Caribbean” so you’ll mostly find Caribbean dishes like jerk chicken and seafood. The bread service is a Johnny Cake (cornbread) with Mango Dip .

My favorite thing to get is usually the slow-roasted option, and on the Wish that’s Chevalle’s Lamb Shank , which is served with green beans (which unfortunately suffered from the same problems as the 1923 green beans did) and a parsnip mash.

For dessert I definitely recommend getting the Rum Soaked Chocolate Cake !

While most 4-night cruises will have a Pirate Night menu, you may also find something different, especially if you are cruising around the holidays. For instance, on Christmas week sailings, you’ll find a Christmas dinner instead of a Pirate Night menu.

Casual Dining on the Disney Wish

Casual Dining on the Wish is where you can go for lunch or dinner or other treats.

Marceline Market

Location: Deck 11 Included in Cruise Price: Yes

Marceline Market is the buffet restaurant on the Disney Wish. It replaces Cabanas, which you’ll find on other earlier Disney Cruise Line ships.

When you go in, note that there are two sides to the restaurant, and both have an identical buffet.

The restaurant is named after Marceline, Missouri, Walt Disney’s childhood hometown. So it has a homey feel with modern twists.

Marceline Market is open for breakfast and lunch , and there will be a huge variety of food to choose from.

Breakfast plate of Mickey Waffles and pancakes overlooking water on aft deck at Marceline Market

At breakfast you’ll find everything from Mickey Waffles to made-to-order omelets to pastries to yogurt parfaits . And at lunch they might have prime rib, seafood, turkey, pasta , and all kinds of other dishes.

One of my favorite things about Marceline Market is specific kids counter they have. There, you’ll find kid favorites like chicken tenders, fries, and mac and cheese . Of course, adults can get food from here too.

Overall, I thought the food at Marceline Market was fine. It was nothing particularly special, but it also wasn’t bad.

Really my only complaint was about breakfast! There were NO Mickey Churro Waffles to be found (which I first discovered on the Disney Magic and are a staple on some of the cruise ships), and they only had the Ham and Cheese Croissants (one of my other favorite items!) one day.

Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods

Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods is where you’ll find meal and snack options out on the pool deck. It’s themed after a county fair and there are several different stations you can choose from:

  • Mickey’s Smokestack Barbecue
  • Sweet Minnie’s Ice Cream
  • Donald’s Cantina
  • Daisy’s Pizza Pies
  • Goofy’s Grill

Sign for Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods

It’s a great set-up for food, because every member of the family can get something they really love. However, the lines were often very long (ESPECIALLY for the ice cream!).

I also had issue with out it was laid out. I’m not sure why they have it facing the doors to the elevators, because it sometimes created another traffic flow problem (which I discuss in detail in my Wish review ), especially when the restaurants first open and people are lining up.

But overall, the food was good and it’s perfect for grabbing something to eat when you are spending the day out by the pool.

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets

Location: Deck 11 Included in Cruise Price: No

Inside Out: Joyful Sweets is an adorable Inside Out themed candy and sweets shop just outside of Marceline Market.

They service specialty cupcakes and ice cream, but note that everything here is an extra cost!

Disgust at Inside Out Joyful Sweets on the Wish

Wheezie’s Freezies

Location: Deck 12 Included in Cruise Price: No

Wheezie’s Freezies is a smoothie bar located on the pool deck next to the Toy Story Splash Zone. They offer smoothies, snow cones, and other specialty drinks (some in souvenir cups).

This is also a location where your treats will cost you extra money.

Bars & Lounges on the Disney Wish

The Disney Wish really changed it up with how they offer bars and lounges. Instead of having one section of the ship cordoned off for bars (like on the older ships), there are lots of bars and lounges scattered throughout the ship.

Do note that ALL of these will be an extra cost! They are not included in the price of your cruise.

We’re going to go through these from the lowest level of the ship to the top.

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge

Location: Deck 3 Included in Cruise Price: No

Star Wars: Hyperspace Lounge was maybe the most hyped-up of all the Disney Wish restaurants when the ship debuted! And I have to say, I thought the experience lived up to the hype.

This Star Wars themed bar is located on Deck 3 right next to The Bayou. It’s a small bar, and it can sometimes get crowded and require a wait. Sometimes they will also implement reservations. However, we didn’t have any problem going after our show one night.

The coolest thing about this bar is the giant screen behind the bar that makes it look like you are floating in space , occasionally jumping into hyperspace to arrive at a new location. And when you pair that with the natural movements of the ship, plus the way the whole bar rumbles during a hyperspace jump, it really is a fully immersive experience!

The drinks here are also super fun! Disney really made a point to create drinks that are creative and unique, incorporating things like glitter dust and smoke bubbles . All of the drinks we tired tasted great too.

Also this is a space the whole family can enjoy! During the day, kids can experience the Star Wars magic. However, at night it is only for adults.

Hyperspace Lounge

The Bayou is located on Deck 3 behind the Grand Hall. It’s right in the middle of the two hallways, so you can’t miss it.

This is a Tiana themed space , with a beautiful floral ceiling and fun touches from The Princess and the Frog. And it’s also a place where you’ll often find events, including trivia and live music.

You’ll find a variety of cocktails and drinks here. They also serve beignets. But I’ll be honest: the beignets aren’t good. So don’t waste your money on them.

Nightingale’s

Nightingale’s is the piano bar on the Disney Wish. It’s subtly themed after Cinderella (to match the Grand Hall). They serve a variety of drinks and have live music.

This is also a space that is exclusively for adults .

Every Disney Cruise Line ship has a Preludes, which is the snack bar right outside the Walt Disney theater where you can get popcorn and drinks for during the shows.

There is a Preludes next to both doors to the theater. And you can purchase drinks, cocktails, popcorn, and candy.

Hook’s Barbery

Location: Deck 4 Included in Cruise Price: No

While Hook’s Barbery is meant as a place for haircuts and a shave, there is also a small bar inside. This bar focuses on whiskey and Old Fashioneds . Perfect for the bourbon afficionados!

Wishing Star Cafe

Wishing Star Cafe is located just outside Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, and it’s out in the open of the hallway. It’s a small bar where you can get a cocktail or a glass of wine , but they also serve specialty coffees (so you don’t have to go all the way up to Cove Café!).

Luna & Luna Libations

Luna is a lounge that has all kinds of family-friendly entertainment during the day. In the evening though, it becomes an adults-only lounge that serves a variety of cocktails, wines, and beers .

Enchanted Sword Cafe

Location: Deck 5 Included in Cruise Price: No

Enchanted Sword Cafe is just like Wishing Star Cafe, only a deck higher. You’ll find coffees, cocktails, wine , and other drinks here.

Enchanted Sword Cafe

Keg & Compass

Keg & Compass is the pub and sports bar on the Disney Wish. So if there’s a sporting event you don’t want to miss during your sailing, you can head here! It’s also themed after seafaring adventures, so it has all kinds of fun decor details to spot.

You’ll find all kinds of beers, cocktails, and wines here as well as a few British pub food items . This is also one of the spots where they do some of the tasting experiences you can sign up for.

Triton Lounge

Triton Lounge is a small lounge that usually hosts events like family games and trivia. They do have a small drinks menu though, including kid-friendly mocktails.

The Lookout is the pool deck bar that offers beer, cocktails, wine, coffee, and juices. It’s located near Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods.

The Rose is such a hidden gem on the Disney Wish! It’s located on Deck 12 right before you arrive at Enchanté or Palo, so it’s where you wait when you arrive for your meals there.

It’s a beautiful bar subtly themed after Beauty and the Beast , and because it’s pretty tucked away from the rest of the ship, it’s usually not very crowded. It also has a full wall of windows looking out onto the water with comfy chairs for great views while you sip your drink!

Bar Seating at The Rose

Location: Deck 13 Included in Cruise Price: No

Cove Cafe is located on Deck 13 in the adults-only area . During the day they serve coffee and tea , while at night they also offer cocktails and wine .

Currents Bar

Locations: Deck 13 and 14 Included in Cruise Price: No

Currents Bar is another bar on the pool deck . There are actually two locations: o ne on the adults-only pool deck, and another overlooking the Toy Story Splash Zone . You’ll find a variety of drinks at each one.

Specialty Dining Options on the Disney Wish

Aside from the standard dining options and the bars & lounges located throughout the Disney Wish, there are also other dining options.

Palo Steakhouse (Adults Only)

Every ship on Disney Cruise Line has a Palo Steakhouse, and it’s a super popular reservation to get. While I haven’t dined at Palo on the Wish, I did dine at Palo on the Disney Magic and thought it was excellent!

Palo on the Wish is subtly themed after Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast. They offer an Italian menu for brunch and dinner.

Brunch is super popular at Palo, and they have an incredible menu of frittatas, waffles, pizzas, entrees, and desserts.

For dinner you can either do a fixed-price meal when you choose from a limited selection of dishes, or an a la carte menu. I will say, the Dover Sole on the a la carte menu when I dined at Palo on the Magic was maybe the best fish I’ve ever had in my life. And Palo is especially known for their chocolate souffle , so don’t miss that!

Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement (Adults Only)

Enchanté is a new concept on the Wish, and it offers French cuisine and is subtly themed after Lumiere from Beauty and the Beast.

We had brunch here during our cruise and thought it was a FANTASTIC experience! Like Palo, you can dine at Enchanté for either brunch or dinner.

First, the restaurant is beautiful. While Palo is full of warm woods and and old-world feel, Enchanté is bright and airy with light blue, modern decor.

Booths and Decor at Enchante

The menu is also fantastic. We did the fixed-price brunch, and were blown away with the whole experience. It’s a multi-course brunch , and every dish they bring out to you is full of surprises and amazing flavors. My favorite part though may have been the bread they fly in from France . But every dish was so carefully composed and I’m so glad we had the experience of dining here.

Enchante Lemon Foam Brunch Dish in a bowl

Location: Deck 5 (at Arendelle) Included in Cruise Price: No

Olaf’s Royal Picnic may be one of the hardest events for families to book on the Wish! This is a special Frozen character event that takes place on a certain day of your sailing.

This is an exclusive and small event and is meant for families with children ages 3-12 . In fact, you can ONLY go if you are accompanying a child ages 3-12, and only children ages 3-12 get the special souvenirs that come with the event.

At the picnic you’ll meet Frozen characters, see performances, and enjoy small finger foods and tea . Kids will also leave with a bag of souvenirs and activities , that I honestly think almost makes the hefty price tag worth it if you have a big Frozen fan in your house. They’ll get things like a rock troll plush, a mandolin guitar, an activity book, a blanket, and more.

Room Service

Location: Your room! Included in Cruise Price: Yes

Room Service is such an amazing perk of Disney Cruises! These meals and/or snacks are included in the price of your cruise, but you should have a few dollars to tip the server.

You can get breakfast, lunch, or dinner from room service. And it’s the only place on the ship to get Mickey Premium Bars during the day. (Which, I highly recommend ordering a Mickey bar and sitting on your balcony to eat it!)

Embarkation Day Dining Options

When your first get on the ship, you will likely be directed to lunch. (And I highly recommend getting on the ship early enough that you get to go to lunch and then explore the ship before it leaves port!)

For lunch, you can go to either Marceline Market, whatever sit-down restaurant is open for lunch (usually 1923), or get food at Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods .

Debarkation Day Dining Options

Debarkation is the worst part of a Disney Cruise. Besides the fact that it’s a bummer to get off the ship, you also have to get up incredibly early to leave your stateroom (they have to turn it over fast for the next guests!) and go to breakfast.

You will be assigned a breakfast restaurant and time for debarkation day . It will be same restaurant you had dinner at the night before, and you’ll have the same servers you’ve had for dinner. The menu, however, isn’t quite as good as the sit-down menu is for breakfast on the other days because they are trying to move a lot more people through the restaurant a lot more quickly.

The other option is to go to Marceline Market for breakfast. Some people prefer to go to the buffet because it can be less rushed, but the menu is also usually pretty limited on the last morning.

Disney Pulled Out the Wagyu for Its First New Cruise Ship in a Decade

Share All sharing options for: Disney Pulled Out the Wagyu for Its First New Cruise Ship in a Decade

Full ballroom turned into a dining room bathed in blue light with snowflake patterns on the floor.

Let’s face it: No one is boarding a Disney Cruise Line vessel simply for the food. But if you do find yourself wrapped in the arms of the mouse while traipsing through the Bahamas on the company’s brand-new Disney Wish ocean liner, you’ll eat surprisingly well.

If you’re unfamiliar with Disney’s voyages at sea, here, Captain Minnie takes the helm. There is no casino or ice-skating rink on board like you’d expect from a standard cruise ship, but instead first-run theatrical releases playing inside a Peter Pan -inspired cinema and a waterslide outfitted with animated Mickey Mouse clips. Kids clubs let young ones embark on Resistance missions beside Chewbacca in a gritty, porg poop-lined Star Wars cargo bay, learn skills alongside Black Panther in a Marvel hero academy, and even playfully train for gainful employment at Walt Disney Imagineering, the creative outfit that develops all of Disney’s high-flying attractions, restaurants and, yes, cruise ships. (Don’t be too jealous — adults can visit, even via the twisty entry slide, during open house hours.) It’s all Disney, all the time, but less in-your-face than you might expect, even when everything — from the Avengers charger plates to dinner’s amuse-bouche — honors the company’s films. Carpets on the Disney Wish celebrate Cinderella with an insignia that’s only recognizable upon second glance; the horn blaring seven notes of “When You Wish Upon a Star” is charming, not maddening.

Fifth in a fleet of seven — two more are on the way — the Disney Wish is far and away Disney’s nicest vessel, not to mention its first in a decade. From beignets at the Princess and the Frog Bayou bar to Jiminy Cricket’s likeness printed on soy cappuccinos, each dining experience remains an attraction of its own. It’s Disney, so there’s plenty for the kids — chicken fingers, Mickey waffles, scoops of colorful yet bland gelato within an Inside Out ice cream shop — but the food is far from a tragic mess of sweaty pizza slices and rubbery chicken breasts. The best thing I ate was foie gras and squab pigeon layered inside a puff pastry at the elegant high-end French restaurant, with the impeccable miso congee served daily at Marceline Market’s daily breakfast buffet right behind it. One day, you’ll find yourself chowing down on kjottkake, or Danish meatballs with egg noodles and lingonberry chutney, as a fully articulated Olaf rolls past on a trolley of dishes; the next, you’re eating Snake River Farms’ American wagyu tenderloin in an Italian restaurant that’s built a cult following on its impeccable pasta and souffles.

A white and gold dining room with large windows showing a view of the water.

Not every location requires you to pay your respects to Mickey Mouse prior to dining, as there are a pair of adults-only restaurants that dim the levels of Disney theming in favor of the world-class service and immense kindness their staffers are known for. Palo, whose name resonates deep in the heart of Disney Cruise Line die-hards in the same tenor that one recalls a once-in-a-lifetime meal at, say, the French Laundry, saw their go-to Italian escape reinvented as a steakhouse for this ship, offering cowboy rib-eye, Angus porterhouse, and yes, Japanese A5 wagyu (for a surcharge of just $45). Palo’s dinner prix-fixe menu ($45) is a small but worthwhile fee, as is the massively popular brunch, which books up regularly. Then there’s Enchanté, irrefutably the best dining experience aboard. In a refined space with marble tabletops, gold accents, and blue swirled carpet mimicking the seas outside, chef Arnaud Lallemant’s menu of wild halibut with vermouth sauce and a stewed tomato, cooked for 12 hours and served four ways, could very well rival that of L’Assiette Champenoise — if only his three-Michelin-starred Reims gastronomic getaway offered seatings between showings of The Little Mermaid . From Maine lobster with caviar to a glazed chocolate mousse plated with silver leaf, the dishes on Enchanté’s tasting menus transport you to a universe beyond the inflatable Incredibles obstacle course, despite being just next door.

But still, the way most folks chow down aboard the Disney Wish is within its thematic dining halls. Disney Cruise Line pioneered “rotational dining” when it launched in 1998, where in lieu of a grand ballroom filled with families eating mediocre steaks in tandem, guests and their pre-assigned waitstaff move between a trio of restaurant concepts each night. And with Disney, restaurants are never just restaurants; everything is a tactile, physical venue for storytelling. While the interiors play off the movies as we know them, menus instead honor the cuisine of real-world locations that inspired the filmmakers.

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure was an absolute highlight. In this Nordic eatery developed as a theater in the round, guests attend an engagement party for Queen Anna and Kristoff thrown by Oaken, the burly small business owner from the films, seen here in the flesh for the very first time. Guests enter through a lengthy hallway flocked with ornate details and are sat in wooden chairs with colorful insignias around the stage, where storytellers provide inventive acoustic reinterpretations of popular Frozen songs that won’t give you flashbacks to 2011 inside your family minivan, guaranteed. The koldtbord platter was a favorite, as were the scallops, cooked in a shrimp-tarragon bisque and housed within a towering puff pastry. (I won’t lie — I took a bite and immediately ordered seconds.) And the desserts: a Norwegian pancake roulade and a twist on the traditional Kvæfjordkake butter cake with baked meringue and, naturally, a sugar snowflake.

Disney’s rolled out plenty of Avengers-y dining experiences already, but Worlds of Marvel is their first true sit-down joint, and my hopes weren’t high for this one, considering the only food really eaten on-screen during the course of the series was a post-battle round of shawarma. But Worlds of Marvel remained full of surprises. Namely, that I never anticipated the first thing to happen at a Marvel-themed dinner would be a video of Paul Rudd acknowledging the “Thanus” fan theory over bread baskets and beer orders, or of Brie Larson and Anthony Mackie reprising their roles as captains Marvel and America. Worlds of Marvel brings us our first taste of Sokovian food — the Eastern European region Scarlet Witch (nee Wanda Maximoff) hails from — as well as flavors of Wakanda. To build a flavor profile that honors both Africa and the fictional, vibranium-rich region Black Panther calls home , the culinary team utilized berbere for their pork chops, rounding out a global menu of pork bao buns, vegan udon and, of course, lamb shawarma salad, served tableside as sizzle reels of Marvel Cinematic Universe films and television shows — available on Disney+ ! — play on oversized television screens.

A bowl of congee with cashews, shallots, and cilantro on a table.

But alas, if there’s one thing you’ve heard about on Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship, it’s the Hyperspace Lounge . The tiny, intimate Star Wars bar allows guests to sip drinks like the Baby Yoda-inspired zero-proof Temple Twist (with “frog egg” popping pearls) beside screens projecting ship traffic from across the galaxy between intermittent horizontal jumps into hyperspace. If you’ve heard two things, the other is likely about that $5,000 Kaiburr Crystal cocktail, an instant headline-maker that PR immediately shut down inquiries about, despite its vessel sitting on display during interviews. (What comes in Disney’s four-digit drink, exactly? Individual shots of 23-year Pappy, Taylor’s Kingsman Edition Very Old Tawny Port, and Watenshi gin, along with a yuzu-kumquat cognac cocktail with Grand Marnier Quintessence, all served in a Camtono safe . Purchase also nets the drinker an exclusive invitation to visit Skywalker Ranch in Marin County.)

You can find cheaper thrills throughout the ship, of course. Disney mixologists are really in their foam-and-smoke era, between domed drinks and a bubble-explosion martini . But everything I tasted was well-balanced, from an Old Fashioned served with a chocolate-dunked orange from the Rose, the ship’s high-end cocktail lounge, to slurping a passionfruit concoction with cucumber-rose gin out of a glass bird at Nightingale’s piano bar; I would have tried more if our sailing — full of invited reporters, travel agents, and influencers — didn’t, quite literally, begin drinking multiple bars dry.

Bars and lounges are midship and, in some cases, open onto public walkways, making it easier than ever to obtain a tipple while on family vacation. (Kids are allowed in all of them, including Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge, until they transition to 18-plus at night.) Same with coffee — the adult-centric Cove Café sees a Moana redux on this ship, but even with its siphon, Chemex, and hand-pour V60 brewing techniques, there are even more options at the bars next to the ship’s main atrium, making it easier than ever to opt for a pick-me-up by way of Vietnamese, Thai, or Turkish coffees.

Folding an abundance of adult beverages, like coffee and cocktails, into the most-frequented areas on the ship is proof Disney Cruise Line is doubling down on its promise to offer just as much for adults as it does for kids. Thankfully, eating, drinking, and snacking your way through the Disney+ library never tasted so good.

Rather than a static main dining room, Disney Cruise Line rotates guests between multiple dining options. The schedule is fixed and the wait staff rotates with the guests to build a familiarity. These restaurants are included in the cruise price.

Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure

A restaurant featuring the smash hit  Frozen where guests attend the engagement party for Princess Anna and Kristoff. This interactive experience will feature technology that allows Olaf to visit every table, along with all your favorite  Frozen characters, including Oaken.

disney wish cruise ship food

The food will be inspired by various places including Norway, Germany, and Estonia. Guests can expect a variety of fish and seafood options, some game choices, unique liqueurs, and more. The menu will also be representative of the seasons with lighter dishes representing summer and heavier dishes representing winter.

Disney has also promised a highly interactive kids menu.

Worlds of Marvel: Avengers Quantum Encounter

Disney described Avengers Quantum Encounter as a “Cinematic Dining Experience” and “most ambitious dining experience ever.” Guests will be joined by Ant-Man and The Wasp, who host a special presentation on superhero technology, including holographic models of Captain America’s shield, Iron Man’s arc reactor, and Ant-Man’s Pym Particles.

Each table has a “Quantum Core,” the latest piece of Pym technology that can shrink and grow things remotely — in other words, the ability to shrink or supersize food. Menus are inspired by “African Wakanda, Eastern European Sokovia and the Avengers’ home base of New York City.”

Named for the year the Walt Disney Company was founded, this restaurant displays the full history of Disney animation. It features two different dining spaces, named after Walt and Roy Disney. Guests will be able to see props used for Disney’s animated films, original artwork, and more.

Hook’s Barbery

Hook’s Barbery is out of alphabetical order because it is a hidden lounge of sorts and is technically listed under the spa & salon venue category. Well, it’s along the hallway with glass windows across from the Untangled Salon. so not really hidden.

Disney Wish Hook's Barbery Logo

It is described as a calm refuge tucked away from Senses Spa, Hook’s Barbery is designed for the utmost in relaxation—featuring heavy leather chairs, dark wood tones and deep grays, and drapery evoking Captain Hook’s own style. During treatments and special evening events, this European-style barbery invites Guests 21 and older to unwind even further at our hidden bar offering specialty whiskey tastings.

During our visit, a tactile menu was not available, but the concept is that you can order what you see at the bar with a focus on smoked Old Fashioneds. There are a variety of simple syrup flavors, your choice of spirit, and a selection of wood chips for the smoking of the cocktail. For example, an Old Fashioned made with Blanton’s, cherry simple, and I cannot remember what wood chips I went with. This came to $25.96 with the included 18% auto gratuity.

Disney Wish Hook's Barbery

Oh, the Untangled Salon… Strange, Untangled Salon does not offer wine and Champagne as is common with similar venues on land. Seems like a great idea… hint.. hint… hint…

During the Christening cruise on June 29, 2022, the menus for Preludes and Triton Lounge were not available.

Wow! Thank you so much for posting so many details! The pictures were great!

' src=

So with all those Cafes only one can serve a Chai Tea Latte?

' src=

I like seeing all the specialty coffees, and also All the different brew methods like Chemex. However there seems to be quite the emphasis on cocktails in the $20-$50 range 👎🏼

' src=

Thanks for these. Was hoping for more non alcoholic options.

' src=

Thanks for the info! I noticed a charge for snacks like chicken wings. Last time we sailed in 2019, you could go to the pub and there was no charge. Has charging for bar snacks become the norm across the fleet now?

' src=

They’ve always charged for extra bar food you order from them. They do have the free stuff out in the evenings that includes some wings, but if you order any other time I think they’ve always charged. Of course, you can just go order from room service for free if you wish also

' src=

Wondering if you had a chance to check out the Sommelier Bin at either the Rose or the Bayou while you were on the ship? Also by chance do you happen to know what the Momma’s special Beignets is all about? Quite a price difference from just 3 Beignets…. Was wondering what you received for that?

' src=

Did not order from the bin or order the beignets.

Disney Wish Main Dining Room Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Drink Menus

by Prof. Cruise · August 15, 2022

A bunch of menus from the Disney Wish and text that reads: Disney Wish Main Dining Room Menus.

A Brief Introduction to Rotational Dining on the Disney Wish

I’ll keep my hilarious and engaging commentary (said no one, not related to me, ever) to a minimum, because I know you’re just here for the menus. But for those who are new to or curious about cruising on Disney or on the Wish, you should know about “ rotational dining ,” which is unique to the line. Instead of “traditional dining” where you eat at the same restaurant, at the same time, at the same table, with the same table mates, and with the same wait staff each night or “freestyle dining” (also called “my time dining” or “anytime dining”) where you can dine at any time, with anyone you choose, at any available restaurant, with “ rotational dining ,” you’ll have the same dining time each night, the same table mates, and the same wait team, but you’ll rotate to a different restaurant each evening. On the Disney Wish, you’ll rotate among three restaurants: 1923, Arendelle, and Worlds of Marvel.

On three night cruises, you’ll dine at each restaurant once. On four night cruises, you’ll eat at one of the restaurants twice. Your rotation will be assigned in advance based on the deck number of your cabin. So, curious about what you’ll eat (and drink!) as you rotate around the ship, hopefully not becoming so dizzy as to warrant a visit to the medical center where you can finally answer a burning question I’ve had about Disney cruises for years: do the ship doctors and nurses dress up like Doc McStuffins or Baymax? Here are the menus!

How nice of you to post this for us! I should warn vegetarians that our Disney cruise ship dinner menu was absolutely awful. I’m vegetarian, my daughter is vegan, and our two grandsons are vegetarian. Daughter almost starved to death during dinner (she could find food at breakfast and buffet lunch). Every night grandsons got to choose between cheese pizza and macaroni and cheese, neither offerings being very tasty or healthy. Toward the end, I remembered my discovery on Princess that there is an off-menu Indian dinner family offering, which was entirely vegetarian. I asked our waiter if they did that aboard Disney, and they did. We picked out the vegan offerings and dined very well. Much Indian vegetarian food is protein-rich and healthy, and, of course, delicious. I was so surprised that the veg food on the Disney cruise was so awful, as a few years earlier hubby and I spent a week at Walt Disney World and got the nightly specialty dinner offering at each “Land.” It was all incredibible, both veg and non-veg (hubby). We’ve cruised many lines over the years, and Disney had by far the worst for vegetarian and vegan fare. Regarding the Indian off-menu offerings, I’m now thinking that most if not all cruise ships offer this option. Is this true? If so, vegetarians and non-vegetarians should become aware of it. We were not charged extra and could order it wherever we were for dinner. I only found this out when we sat near an Indian family on Princess at the regular dining room and noticed they were eating far better than I was.

' src=

That’s such a great tip for vegetarians (like me!) sailing on Disney! I’ve ordered off the Indian menu on several other lines (Royal Caribbean and Princess) and it’s always fantastic! Excited to try it on Disney!

' src=

That’s great to know! Do you just ask for the “Indian menu?” I feel like there is some sort of heritage-bias in asking like that. I don’t want to be rude or insulting. Looking forward to our cruise in 2 weeks!

I don’t recall exactly what I said , but we had been griping to the waitstaff that there was so little veg and vegan to choose from, and they were less than helpful (not their fault, seems to be the Disney cruise policy to really cut back on good food at dinner for vegs). Ratings on Disney cruises are not good for food, and, for veg they are dismal. I mentioned that we had been on other cruiselines where off-menu meals for Indian vegetarian food were offered, and,did they have that option? One waiter eagerly said yes and listed the meal offerings that are vegan. We ordered several (they are served family style), and they were all delicious. I got the impression that Disney corporate discourages voluntarily mentioning this option to anyone who doesn’t “look” like they might be interested in it since it probably costs them more, but our waitstaff were all delighted by our enthusiastic enjoyment of the wonderful food. We also gave waitstaff extra gratuity. I hope you have a great voyage and enjoy your meals!

Thank you so much for responding with your experience. I see a lot on the menu I would like to try but I don’t like seafood and there was one menu I wasn’t thrilled about. I will bring this up at the table that night. Thanks again!

The Best Things To Eat And Drink On Disney's Wish Cruise

They've got cocktails and cake aplenty.

preview for Ultimate Disney Challenge: Trying All Of The Wish Cruise Line Treats | Delish

If Disney World (or Land... we don't play favorites) is the "happiest place on earth," then Disney's newest cruise liner, the Disney Wish , may just be the happiest place at sea.

There are character sightings galore, magical Cinderella-themed touches throughout the ship, and an adults-only infinity pool that's perfect for whiling the day away. But if we're being honest, we're in it for the food (and booze). It's no secret that we love a mouse-eared treat—so much so that we created a magazine practically devoted to them . And the offerings aboard the Disney Wish run the gamut: familiar dishes you'll recognize from the parks , high-end Wagyu beef bites, Mickey-shaped waffles, and never-before-served cocktails at places like the Star Wars-themed Hyperspace Lounge ( including a $5,000 drink ... yep, you read that right).

I recently spent some time on the ship, and there were countless dining options to choose from. I narrowed down the best dishes, desserts, and cocktails on the Disney Wish so you know where to focus if you set sail.

The Chancellor Cocktail

Image no longer available

There's no shortage of whimsical beverages on the Wish , but if you prefer a more spirit-forward cocktail, this drink, served in the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge—which becomes an adults-only hot spot after 9 p.m.—will take you to the dark side. The cognac and Calvados cocktail is served with a touch of theater, courtesy of a very cool bubble gun that adds a smoky topper.

Candy Explosion Gelato

disney wish joyful sweets ice cream

At Joyful Sweets, the Inside Out- themed treat shop, you can choose from over 14 gelato flavors (plus macarons and cupcakes). We think even Sadness would perk up eating this candy-packed cone.

Step Mother Cocktail

nightengale cocktail disney wish cruise

Life is da bubbles at Nightengale, the Wish 's piano bar where a Beauty and the Beast serenade comes with a side of bubble-themed drinks. Bourbon, ginger, and vermouth are at play in this showstopping sipper.

Elsa's Royal Baked Scallops

puff pastry arendelle

Over in Arendelle (really, that's the name of the Frozen -themed restaurant), to celebrate the engagement of Princess Anna and Kristoff, you're treated to an interactive dining experience with table-side visits from the bride- and groom-to-be (and Olaf!). Besides the musicians who lead the Frozen sing-a-long, one of the real stars is a flaky puff pastry appetizer filled with shrimp-tarragon bisque, rainbow carrots, and leeks.

Troll Family's Rock Chocolate Bar

disney wish arendelle dessert

No fête of Anna's would be complete without chocolate cake, and this one, which features pistachio cookies, gold flakes, and hibiscus meringue, is almost too pretty to eat.

Sweet Nightengale

crystal slipper cocktail disney wish nightengales bar

How darling is this vessel? Inside, there's gin, passion fruit, rosemary, and mint. If you drink enough of them, you'll think you're Cinderella.

Steamed Bao Buns

marvel dinner buns

Ginger orange pork belly, pickled daikon, and a mirin-soy-honey glaze are just a few of the ingredients that make this appetizer at the Marvel-themed Avengers Technology Showcase dinner out of this world.

Pym Doughnut Sundae

marvel dinner

Dulce de leche ice cream, a pecan brownie, caramel fudge sauce and a doughnut topper made this decadent dessert the perfect way to end an excursion into the Marvel universe.

star wars hyperspace cocktails

Back in a galaxy... on Deck 3, another smoky cocktail is a highly entertaining way to imbibe in the Star Wars Hyperspace Lounge. It starts with sparkly cube and ends with a dazzling display.

Image no longer available

Smokey Old Fashioned

old fashioned on the disney wish

Another dynamite cocktail that gets the smoky treatment, this Old Fashioned is served at a speakeasy inside Hook's Barbery, where you can get grooming services with a dram of whiskey.

King Agnarr's Dry-Rubbed Roasted Pork Tenderloin

pork tenderloin disney wish

I could have eaten the perfectly whipped potatoes that came with this satisfying meat dish in Arendelle by the vat.

rose cocktail disney wish

If the Kaibur Crystal—that $5,000 cocktail—is a little too rich for your blood, the namesake cocktail at The Rose, a bar that pays homage to Beauty and the Beast, will set you back $50. There are a few fancy French ingredients like Grand Mariner Cuvee Louis Alexandre, Perrier-Jouet Belle Epoque Rose, plus Komos Reposado Rosa, and the enchanting presentation involves a dome, a gilded perfume spritzer, and, yes—smoke. It goes down a little too easy.

Temple Twist Mocktail

disney wish joyful sweets ice cream

If you're charmed by all things Baby Yoda , you'll appreciate the cute garnish on this zero-proof drink that contains apple, mint, pineapple, and ginger beer.

But perhaps the best thing to eat on the Disney Wish is the 24/7 room service. French fries and Mickey ice cream bars just hit better at 3 a.m.

I tried everything on the food court menu aboard Disney's newest cruise ship and these are the 9 must-order items

Forget the $5,000 Star Wars -themed cocktail : It was a duck-owned cantina that had myself and many other guests talking — and eating lots of delicious food — aboard the Disney Wish .

As the newest ship to join the Disney Cruise Line (DCL) fleet, the stunning cruise liner arrived at Florida's Port Canaveral with no shortage of dining options. From Scandinavian delights and frozen fractals in the land of Arendelle, to elevated gourmet dishes at an adults-only DCL favorite, Palo, the ship is sure to make mouths water when it embarks on its first public voyage later this month. But Michelin-starred chefs aside, the ship's poolside Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods delivers with satisfying bites that blow other cruise lines' casual eateries out of the water.

Located poolside, this next level food court is a cluster of five quick-service, open-air dining locations that service guests throughout the day. "Quick-service" is Disney-speak for food items already prepared and available to guests by simply walking up to the counter and ordering. Food is continuously cooked, offering a welcomed casual dining experience at your leisure.

The food at Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods is approachable but still high-quality, offering something for every palate in the family with a heaping side of convenience: Each stall is situated within steps of one another. Each restaurant is named for a beloved Disney character, including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and Goofy. (Sorry, Pluto, you'll have to sit this one out!)

This is also where you can find free-flowing, self-service soda, which is an upcharge on nearly every other cruise line. If you've sailed with DCL in the past, the Festival of Foods will look familiar: It's similar to another concept, Flo's V-8 Café, found on both the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy. But, in addition to cruise ship fare like pizza, soft-serve and chicken tenders, the Disney Wish welcomes two new eateries dedicated to barbeque and Mexican-inspired food.

Setting sail on the Disney wish yourself? I tried everything available at Mickey and Friends Festival of Foods and these are the nine can't-miss menu offerings you should absolutely order while relaxing poolside.

1. Fajita Chicken Tacos, Donald's Cantina

Donald's Cantina offers made-to-order tacos, burritos and burrito bowls. Guests can choose from of variety of proteins including fajita chicken, steak or veggies, black beans and refried beans. Impressively, they serve three types of rice: cilantro, brown and poblano cilantro, along with two types of cheese: a shredded cheddar and pepper jack blend or cotija.

Donald's Cantina puts chain Mexican quick-service spots back on land to shame — because here, even guacamole is included. And next to the stall, guests will find a self-serve cart overflowing with twenty different hot sauces and salsas.

Easily a frontrunner for the best items I ate while aboard, their fajita chicken tacos are made-to-order and feature juicy, freshly-prepared chicken. I loved that the tacos were served in taco holders, making them easy to eat poolside.

2. Macaroni and Cheese, Mickey's Smokestack Barbecue

Mickey's Smokestack Barbecue offers a traditional approach to American barbecue, dishing out smoked brisket, chicken and pulled pork, St. Louis-style pork ribs and smoked kielbasa sausage. Sides include baked macaroni and cheese, collard greens, sweet potato fries and Texas jalapeno cornbread. Your order is served on unique wooden plates, further adding to the downhome feel.

Several self-serve, house-made sauces are available, including barbecue hot sauce, a tangy barbecue mustard sauce and their signature barbecue sauce. But a stand-out favorite was the macaroni and cheese.

The cheesy dish was made with a traditional preparation — similar to many barbecue joints — but I think it was executed better than most. The noodles were al dente, coated in a creamy sauce and topped with perfectly toasted breadcrumbs.

3. Impossible Burger, Goofy's Grill

The focus at Goofy's Grill is comfort food, American-style. Here, you can find made-to-order 100% angus hamburgers, impossible burgers, all-beef hot dogs, grilled bratwurst (with caraway Riesling sauerkraut,) plant-based sausage and, of course, the cruise line's famous chicken tenders. All the fixin's are available, like vine tomatoes, shaved red onion and shredded iceberg lettuce.

Disney has been intentional in recent years to rapidly expand their plant-based options and that was no different aboard the Disney Wish. The impossible burger was a welcomed choice from Goofy's Grill, offering something filling — although lighter than the meat-based variety. The patty was juicy and complemented with fresh veggies and a toasted brioche bun.

4. Fajita Veggie Bowl, Donald's Cantina

With the amount of available ingredients at Donald's Cantina, it's entirely possible to eat a light lunch without sacrificing flavor. The fajita veggie bowl shone with delicious cilantro rice, plenty of fajita-style grilled vegetables and creamy cotija cheese.

5. Chicken Tenders, Goofy's Grill

This beloved DCL favorite is also part of the Wish. I'm not sure how Goofy and his friends continue to do it, but chicken tenders 100% taste better when served at sea. Aboard the Wish, the chicken remains juicy and the coating is wonderfully crunchy with just the right amount of salt.

6. Pulled Pork, Mickey's Smokestack Barbecue

Hands-down some of the best pulled pork I've ever had, the pork at Mickey's Smokestack Barbecue is prepared smoked and not lathered in sauce. The meat was incredibly tender with wonderful flavor from its cooking method. Great on its own, it also paired nicely with the stall's hot barbecue sauce.

7. Vanilla Chocolate Swirl, Sweet Minnie's Ice Cream

Frequent DCL cruisers rejoice! The fleet's iconic soft-serve is indeed found on the new Disney Wish. They keep things sweet and simple at Sweet Minnie's Ice Cream by serving just two flavors: vanilla and chocolate, but it's a Disney Cruise Line favorite for good reason. The vanilla chocolate swirl is one of the best sweet treats on the open sea — utterly creamy and reminiscent of a thick custard. You won't stop at just one on your vacation.

8. All The Sauces, Donald's Cantina

The new ship's commitment to excellence is on full display at Donald's Cantina with their extensive salsa and sauce bar. Fresh salsa flavors like ancho-chili and mango-haberno shine while hot sauces in varieties like, chipotle and jalapeno pack a punch, only amplifying the delicious grilled foods found here.

9. Four Cheese Pizza, Daisy's Pizza Pies

At Daisy's Pizza Pies, five varieties of pizza are continuously being freshly prepared from a state of the art Sveba Dahlen pizza oven. This high-temperature oven bakes the ingredients evenly, resulting in a thin crust pie, similar to Neapolitan-style pizza. They serve a range of pizzas at Daisy's, from classics like margarita or pepperoni and sausage, to a prosciutto-arugula slice and a pie with plant-based sausage, garlic confit and sauteed spinach.

The four-cheese pizza from Daisy's Pizza Pies is straightforward but delicious and quickly found a spot on my favorites list. A zesty San Marzano tomato sauce is topped with gorgonzola, mozzarella, Parmesan and stracchino cheeses. The last added a welcomed creamy texture to its accompanying toppings.

disney wish cruise ship food

In Swiss Meltdown , Mickey and Minnie want to take you on a port adventure where you’ll go sledding down the Matterhorn. But when the bright sun comes out and starts melting the snow, you’ll have to get to the top of the mountain to “ski” your way down before all the snow melts away!

Captain Minnie, the Bow, and the Keel

The Disney Wish’s captain is none other than Minnie Mouse herself ! According to Disney, Captain Minnie has taken the helm to “inspire the next generation of female leaders in the cruise industry.”

Captain Minnie is also featured on the bow of the Disney Wish ! Disney explains that the scroll pattern (which has Hidden Mickeys and Plutos!) is  reminiscent of the classic ocean liners of the 1930s, in keeping with the design of the other ships in the fleet.

Captain Minnie on the Ship’s Bow

P.S. The Disney Wish was built at the Meyer Werft Shipyard, which is located in Papenburg, Germany. MANY THANKS to DFB reader Stephan Schröder , who lives in Germany and sent us the photo above — and more !

In April 2021, Disney performed an important ceremony: the  traditional keel laying ceremony ! When a ship is being built,  a newly minted coin is placed under the ship’s keel when the first section of the ship is lowered into the building dock. (It’s considered a token of good fortune.)

You can spy Captain Minnie charting the course!

On March 31, 2022, the ship departed the Meyer Werft Shipyard in Germany after nearly two years of construction . And in April 2022, the Disney Wish entered open water on the North Sea  after 24 hours traveling down the  River Ems in Germany! The Wish then traveled to Eemshaven, Netherlands for sea trials. Disney shared a video about the voyage :

A Christening Ceremony was held for the ship on June 29th , complete with Disney Cruise Line performers, works of gratitude and celebration from Disney CEO Bob Chapek and Chairman Josh D’Amaro, and — of course — TONS of Disney Characters who are NOW SAILING with passengers aboard the Disney Wish!

Disney cruise ships typically choose a godmother for each new ship, which represents good fortune for the ship’s travels. For the first time ever, all Make-A-Wish children, past, present, and future, have been recognized as godchildren of the Disney Wish .

disney wish cruise ship food

The Make-A-Wish godchildren played a special role in the Christening Ceremony , and join the fleet’s godmothers: Patty Disney, Tinker Bell, Jennifer Hudson, and Mariah Carey. This is the first time in Disney Cruise Line history that children have been honored with this role in the ship’s journey!

A cruise for media and travel experts took place following the Christening. The maiden voyage set sail on July 14th , complete with a water salute!

The Disney Wish Stern

The fifth Disney cruise ship features the beloved Rapunzel — and, of course, her flowing hair — on its stern . (You might also spy Pascal , who lends a helping hand to Rapunzel as she paints!)
