turkish tourist visa requirements for pakistani

If you are a Pakistani citizen planning to visit Turkey in 2022, it’s important to familiarize yourself with the Turkey visit visa requirements. These requirements serve as guidelines to ensure a smooth and hassle-free visa application process. Understanding the necessary documents and procedures can help you make the most of your trip to Turkey. In this article, we will walk you through the essential visit visa requirements specifically for Pakistani citizens traveling to Turkey in 2022.

Eligibility Criteria for Turkey Visit Visa

Passport validity.

To be eligible for a Turkey Visit Visa, the first requirement is that your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your intended stay in Turkey. Make sure to check the expiration date of your passport before applying for the visa.

Travel History

Turkey considers your travel history when evaluating your visa application. It is preferable to have a valid visa or entry stamp from countries with a history of travel, especially if you have previously visited countries in the Schengen Area, the United States, the United Kingdom, or Canada.

Proof of Accommodation

You will need to provide proof of accommodation for your stay in Turkey. This can be in the form of hotel reservations, a letter of invitation from a host in Turkey, or any other document that proves your place of stay during your visit.

Financial Means

The Turkish authorities also require you to demonstrate that you have enough financial means to support your stay in Turkey. This includes funds to cover your accommodation, transportation, meals, and any other expenses. Bank statements, employment letters, or any other evidence of your financial capability can be presented as proof.

Types of Turkey Visit Visa

Single entry visa.

A Single Entry Visa allows you to enter Turkey only once during the validity of the visa. Once you leave Turkey, the visa becomes invalid.

Multiple Entry Visa

A Multiple Entry Visa, on the other hand, allows you to enter Turkey multiple times within the visa’s validity period. This type of visa is suitable for those who plan to enter and exit Turkey more than once during their visit.

Documents Required for Turkey Visit Visa

Application form.

The Turkey Visit Visa application form must be accurately and completely filled out. Make sure to provide all the required information and double-check for any errors before submitting the form.

Passport and Photographs

You will need to submit your original passport along with photocopies of the information page and any other pages that contain valid visa or entry stamps. Additionally, two recent passport-sized photographs with a white background are also required.

Proof of Financial Means

To prove your financial means, you must provide bank statements or any other proof of your financial stability. The documents should clearly show your income, savings, or assets that demonstrate your ability to cover your expenses during your stay in Turkey.

Include documentation that confirms your accommodation arrangements in Turkey. This can be hotel reservations, a letter of invitation from a host in Turkey, or any other suitable proof.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance with medical coverage is mandatory for obtaining a Turkey Visit Visa. The policy should provide coverage for the entire duration of your stay and include a minimum coverage amount set by the Turkish authorities.

Flight Itinerary

Your flight itinerary, including the dates of your arrival and departure, must be submitted along with your visa application. This confirms your travel plans and assists the visa authorities in assessing the duration of your stay.

Letter of Invitation

If you have been invited by a host in Turkey, it is advisable to provide a letter of invitation. This document should include your host’s details, the purpose of your visit, and the duration of your stay.

Educational or Employment Documents

Providing educational or employment documents, such as a letter from your university or employer, can strengthen your visa application. These documents demonstrate your ties to your home country and indicate that you plan to return after your visit to Turkey.

Payment of Visa Fee

The visa fee must be paid at the time of submitting your application. The fee may vary depending on the type of visa, your nationality, and other factors. Ensure that you have the correct amount and method of payment accepted by the Turkish embassy or consulate.

Application Process for Turkey Visit Visa

The first step in the application process is to complete the Turkey Visit Visa application online. Fill out all the required fields accurately and provide the necessary documents as per the instructions provided.

After submitting your online application, you will need to book an appointment for a visa interview at the Turkish embassy or consulate in your country. This is an essential step in the application process, and it is important to schedule the appointment well in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

Validity period.

The validity period of a Turkey Visit Visa varies depending on the visa type and your nationality. Typically, a single-entry visa is valid for 90 days, while a multiple-entry visa can have a validity period of up to 180 days or more.

As we discussed in the very first paragraph that the Turkish embassy in Pakistan does visa services through a third party. Anatolia Travel Services does visa services on behalf of the Turkish embassy. Turkey Visa Process Time

Now, it is time to wait for the Turkish visa. The Turkish visa process takes 15 working days because they receive too many visa applications. Sometimes visa applications can take 3 to 4 weeks depending on numerous factors such as verification from the Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara.

I heard that Anatolia Travel Services send your visa application to Turkey’s Embassy or Consulate General in Pakistan. After that, Turkey Embassy or Consulate sends your visa application to Turkey at the Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Ankara.

I helped one of my friends to apply Turkey visa application who is in China. She submitted the documents to the Turkish Embassy in Beijing and after one month she got approval for a Turkish visa. Beijing embassy sends her document to Turkey she said. She went to Embassy in the morning and submitted her passport and got a visa in the evening on the same day.

Turkish visa fee from Pakistan

A piece of very sad news is sporting that the Turkish Embassy in Pakistan has increased the prices of Turkish visas. I contact here to Anatolia and they told me the Turkish visa fee from Pakistan is in USD but you have to pay in Cash according to that day’s conversion rate.

The new visa fee from Pakistan for a tourist visa is about USD 65 + 60 + 45 = USD 170 (Rs 46,500). Here, the visa fee is USD 65, the Anatolia Service fee is USD 60 and insurance charges USD 45.

This is too ridiculous to increase this such kind of visa fees and Anatolia service fees. Turkish Government should cut off Anatolia and insurance charges. The Canada visa fee is USD 155.
