The yearly 99.5 WYCD Hoedown is around the corner. Since 1983, this annual concert has continuously offered an avenue for good music celebration by featuring household-name musicians and rising artists. The Pine Knob Music Theatre will be the venue for this wild night of country music this May 20. This year, this event will be headlining Tim McGraw. With his vast array of country genre subspecialties, there is so much to look forward on his performance. More so that he has a reputation for being one of the biggest touring acts in music history. His last "SoulIISoul" tour with his country superstar wife, Faith Hill, was a huge hit and made history. It was named one of the highest-grossing country tours. Tim Mcgraw is a household name in the country music scene due to his vast array of country genre subspecialties, such as country rock and contemporary country. The country scene was enamored when Tim McGraw took a wild turn in his life and pursued a music career in the genre. From his breakout in 1994 with his debut album, "Not a Moment Too Soon," he already made an indelible mark in the industry. He has recorded 16 albums in his long career, most of which were positively received and were bestsellers. Out of those 16, 10 are Top Country Albums chart-toppers. He has also received 45 number-one songs. Due to his great knack for country music, he has received three Grammy Awards, multiple Academy of Country Music wins, and a handful of Billboard Awards.

Chris Janson, also a country singer-songwriter, is today's charmer of the scene. With his captivating tunes that are reminiscent of both bro and rock country. He has released three albums, that includes "Buy Me a Boat," "Everybody," and "Real Friends." Many of his singles received multi-platinum certifications. Also, he is currently a Grand Ole Opry member.

Completing this concert is Kassi Ashton, who made a buzz with her blend of country roots and soul/rock compliments. She has released 11 albums, of which Violins is the most recent.

Tim McGraw Announces 'Standing Room Only' Tour: See The Dates

Tim McGraw is going on tour!

On Friday (July 28), the country superstar announced he is hitting the road next year for his "Standing Room Only" tour , a 33-city tour featuring special guest Carly Pearce that kicks off March 2024 with a few shows in Florida before he travels around the country to wrap up in June in Arizona.

"Can't wait to see you out there....," he captioned the announcement on Instagram .

In his Instagram Stories, McGraw tagged Pearce and said he is "excited to have you on this tour," while the "What He Didn't Do" singer herself couldn't contain her excitement in her own Instagram post , writing, "My '90s country music heart is SO excited to be joining [McGraw] on the #StandingRoomOnly Tour next year!"

Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, August 4, at 10 a.m. local time. Here are all the dates currently announced:

Long proven as a titan of touring across a career spanning more than three decades, the Standing Room Only Tour promises more unparalleled, high energy live shows from McGraw. Featuring a huge production, his biggest hits and songs from his forthcoming 17th studio album Standing Room Only , the tour promises the most fun and memories of a lifetime.

On Aug. 25, McGraw will release his new album Standing Room Only via Big Machine Records and McGraw Music. The album’s title track, “ Standing Room Only ,” is currently top 15 at Country Radio and climbing the charts. It also marks McGraw’s 92nd career chart entry. An acoustic version of the song was released on July 14.

On Standing Room Only , fans can expect an album full of McGraw’s enduring Country sound, distinguished vocals and meaningful songs – as evidenced on previously released tracks “ Hey Whiskey ,” and, most recently, “ Remember Me Well ,” which was released on July 21. Standing Room Only marks McGraw’s first new record since 2020’s Here On Earth , which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Country Chart.

One of the unofficial openers of summer is almost here.

Pine Knob will kick off its 2023 concert slate Saturday, May 20, at 3 p.m. with Tim McGraw headlining the “ 99.5 WYCD Hoedown ”

Stubhub has lawn tickets starting around $45 while pavilion tickets are around $100 with general admission pit tickets around $150.

Vivid Seats has lawn seats starting around $60 with pavilion tickets starting around $65.

The concert will feature live music on two different stages with McGraw performing on the main stage along with Chris Janson and Kassi Ashton . Dalton Dover, Jordan Harvey and Tigirlily Gold will perform on the festival stage.

The Soul 2 Soul Concert with Tim & Faith was the most awesome experience I have ever had in my life. The singing was superb and he is absolutely gorgeous. The love shown between Tim & Faith is so fantastic. I think every man should look at their wife the way he looks at Faith. I wish I could go to another concert of Tim's in the near future. I will be watching for any upcoming dates. I had a wonderful time!

One of the WORST-sounding concerts that I have ever experienced. We had great floor seats but the drums and bass guitar were so loud that no one in my group could understand any of the words from Tim or Faith. 90% of the concert just sounded like a lot of loud white noise.

Too bad that the artist probably have no idea.

Country Music Fans Call Tim McGraw the "Greatest Of All Time" After Recent Concert

Tim McGraw has been a fixture on the country music scene for more than three decades, and he's known for his high-energy performances and magnetic stage presence. So it should come as no surprise that his fans are heaping him with praise after a recent concert at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

The "Don't Take the Girl" singer has been criss-crossing the country with performances for his Standing Room Only tour, which wraps up this month. He shared a video on Instagram that showed him wearing a custom sleeveless Phillies shirt, paying homage to Tug McGraw, his late-father and former Phillies pitcher. The shirt, which reads "Ya Gotta Believe" on the front and "McGraw 45" on the back, is available for sale in Tim's online shop .

He captioned the post, "Only one way to show up in Philly..."

• “Operation Fortune-Ruse de Guerre” (R): Elite spy Orson Fortune (Jason Statham) must track down and stop the sale of a deadly new weapons technology wielded by billionaire arms broker Greg Simmonds (Hugh Grant). Also starring Aubrey Plaza and Josh Hartnett.

• “Magic Mike’s Last Dance” (R): Mike Lane (Channing Tatum) reprises his role as Magic Mike in this third installment of the franchise. He takes to the stage again when a business deal that went bad leaves him broke and bartending in Florida. Then he is lured to London with a wealthy socialite. Also starring Salma Hayek, Juliette Motamed and Matthew McConaughey.

• “M3GAN” (PG-13): Sci-fi horror film about a life-like doll programmed to be a child’s companion. Equipped with artificial intelligence, the doll can listen, watch and learn as she becomes playmate, teacher and protector for a child. When the creator of the doll becomes the unexpected caretaker of her 8-year-old niece, she gives the girl a M3GAN prototype. Starring Allison Williams, Violet McGraw, Ronny Chieng and Brian Jordan Alvarez.

• “Knock at the Cabin” (R): While vacationing at a remote cabin, a young girl and her parents are taken hostage by four armed strangers. Starring Dave Bautista, Jonathan Groff, Ben Aldridge and Nikki Amuka-Bird.

• “A Man Called Otto” (PG-13): A grumpy widower named Otto (Tom Hanks), has his life turned around when a lively young family moves in next door. Based on the New York Times bestseller, “A Man Called Ove”. Also starring Mariana Treviño, Manuel Garcia‑Rulfo and Rachel Keller.

• “Puss in Boots-The Last Wish” (PG): DreamWorks Animation new adventure in the Shrek universe where daring outlaw Puss in Boots discovers that he has burned through eight of his nine lives and sets out to restore his nine lives. Featuring the voices of Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek and Olivia Colman.

• “Missing” (PG-13): When her mother disappears while on vacation in Colombia with her new boyfriend, June searches for answers from her home in Los Angeles. Starring Storm Reid, Nia Long, Megan Suri and Ken Leung.

• “The Whale” (R): A reclusive English teacher tries to reconnect with his estranged teenage daughter. Starring Brendan Fraser, Sadie Sink, Ty Simpkins and Hong Chau.

• “Plane” (R): Pilot Brodie Torrance (Gerard Butler) saves his passengers from a lightning strike by making a risky landing on a war-torn island. When most of the passengers are taken hostage by dangerous rebels, the only person Torrance can count on for help is Louis Gaspare (Mike Colter), an accused murderer who was being transported by the FBI.

• “Shin Ultraman”: Japanese superhero Kaiju film starring Masami Nagasawa, Akari Hayami, Takumi Saitoh and Hideaki Anno.

• “Of an Age” (R): Set in the summer of 1999 as a 17-year-old Serbian born, Australian amateur ballroom dancer experiences an unexpected and intense 24-hour romance with a friend’s older brother. Starring Thom Green, Toby Derrick, Hattie Hook and Elias Anton.

• “The Amazing Maurice” (PG): Maurice is a streetwise ginger cat who comes up with a money-making scam by befriending a group of talking rats. Animated film with voices of Emilia Clarke, Hugh Bonneville, Gemma Arterton and Himesh Patel.

• “Black Panther- Wakanda Forever” (PG-13): Marvel Studios’ new superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Black Panther with the Wakandans fighting to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death.
