Luke Grimes Announces Fall Tour

Luke Grimes  announced his fall 2024  Playin’ On The Tracks Tour,  which will kick off in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in November and run through December, ending in Denver, Colorado.

Of course, you probably know Grimes best as his character Kayce Dutton on the hit series  Yellowstone , but he put out his  self-titled debut country album  last year, and it was solid and pretty impressive, especially considering the record was produced by the great Dave Cobb.

Up-and-comer Carter Faith will open for Grimes, and while he did a small tour last year as well, and has played festivals like Stagecoach , he’s still getting his feet wet, so to speak, in terms of playing live music as the headliner, and from videos I’ve seen, it looks like he’s a natural.

If he’ll be anywhere near you on this run, you might be lucky enough to see Luke in person while the second half of Season 5 of Yellowstone is airing on TV… pretty cool:

‘Yellowstone’ Fans Say Luke Grimes "Is on Fire" After Seeing His Latest Music Update

The actor is officially taking his country tunes on the road after releasing a new EP!

Luke Grimes is busy working on his flourishing country music career , and he's officially taking his new tracks on the road.

The Yellowstone star has been vocal about the October 20 debut of his EP Pain Pills or Pews , and he's letting fans hear some of the tunes in celebration of the album release.

Posting a photo on Instagram on September 24, Luke also revealed to his followers that he's embarking on an eight-city tour between November and December, with four of the stops already sold out across the United States. What's more, the actor shared that the final destination of his tour in Boston is getting an upgraded venue to accommodate more concert-goers. "See ya out there," he excitedly captioned the post.

Because Luke's music continues to capture folks' attention, learning the news of him touring across the country left many ecstatic.

'Pain Pills or Pews'

"Selling out like hotcakes!! Congrats!! Entertaining is your superpower ❤️🎶🥰🔥. You are on fire!!" one person wrote on Instagram. "Awesome to see 'sold out.' Congrats," another celebrated. "Best wishes for a successful tour!! 👏 😎🎶," a different follower added.

Amid all the exciting projects the Happiness for Beginners actor is working on lately, he also clued in fans about one of the songs he'll feature on the album.

He posted another Instagram photo two days earlier on September 22 where he passionately announced that the first single off the EP is titled " Burn ". Additionally, folks can already go online and stream it for themselves ahead of the EP's release.

What's more, an official press release from Luke's record label, UMG Nashville, revealed the official track listing for Pain Pills or Pews . Among the songs folks can listen to are " Hold On ," " Playin' on the Tracks " and " No Horse to Ride ," which he debuted earlier this year in a season 5 part 1 episode of Yellowstone .

Needless to say, we need to get ourselves some tickets before they're all sold out ...

Following the release of his second single, “Oh Ohio,” actor Luke Grimes has announced a four-show headlining tour that he’ll be embarking on next month.

Most will recognize Grimes from his role as Kayce Dutton in Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone , which will return with the second half of its fifth season this summer . His first track that was released last year, “No Horse to Ride,” can be heard in the show’s midseason finale .

For the tour, Grimes will be hitting the following locations:

• 4/13 – Billings, MT @ Pub Station
• 4/14 – Laramie, WY @ Cowboy Saloon
• 4/21 – Jackson, WY @ Million Dollar Cowboy Bar
• 4/22 – Mills, WY @ Beacon Club

Universal Music Group Nashville, in association with Range Music, announced Grimes’ record deal back in December. Though we don’t know much else yet about his forthcoming album, Grimes had initially teased an anticipated release sometime at the end of March .

For those unable to catch Grimes at the aforementioned shows above, he’s also on the docket for plenty of music festivals this summer, including Stagecoach , Under the Big Sky , Auburn Rodeo , Pilgrimage Festival , Fairwell Festival , and Bourbon and Beyond .

On the acting front, in addition to the return of Yellowstone in the coming months, Grimes will star alongside Ellie Kemper in  Happiness for Beginners when it hits Netflix  this summer .

The Playin’ on the Tracks Tour kicks runs for one month this fall

Luke Grimes will embark on the ten-city Playin’ On The Tracks Tour this fall. The Mercury Nashville/Range Music recording artist will launch the trek on November 9th in Philadelphia with special guest Carter Faith.

Presales start on Wednesday, September 11th at 10 am local time. Tickets for the tour will go on sale Friday, September 13th.

The Yellowstone actor has also released a live version of his hit song “No Horse To Ride (Live From Boston),”  recorded in December 2023 at Boston’s Roadrunner. The original version debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard Country Songs sales chart in 2022 and accumulated 57.8 million release-to-date global on-demand streams. Spotify highlighted the song on the cover of its Country Hits 2023 playlist, with the song in the No. 1 position. Grimes has amassed 154.7 million total global streams to date of all his music.

It's safe to say that, in 2024, Luke Grimes has been a busy man.

Aside from shooting a new movie with Ari Aster, Eddington , and the last season of the hit neo-Western series, Yellowstone , Grimes somehow found the time to released his debut country album and embark on his first ever headlining tour across the US.

With filming now wrapped for both Eddington and Yellowstone Season Five Part Two, fans are inevitably curious as to when they can expect the multi-hyphenate's sophomore record.

Excitingly, in a new conversation with Holler, the ‘No Horse to Ride’ singer-songwriter has teased that it thankfully won't be too long before he adds to his burgeoning discography.

Luke Grimes shared, “I've been writing ever since we were done recording. You know, I'm kind of always thinking about the next one and ‘What do you want to say now?’ I've definitely been in that mode”.

He went on to reflect on the hectic twelve months he's experienced, which haven't left much room for co-writing link-ups and studio sessions, “I filmed a movie and a season of television this year, so it's been a busy year, and now the tour is coming up. It's just finding the time. But I don't think [new music] will be that far off. I think I'll probably get back in the studio early next year, and then hopefully get it out pretty quick”, before assuring fans, “I don't think it'll be too long at all”.

Since the arrival of Luke Grimes’ lauded 13-song record in March, he's been keeping fans satiated with a couple of live recordings taken from the Boston stop on his previous tour.

Grimes’ trademark rugged, intricate renditions of these tracks, ‘No Horse to Ride’ and a cover of Nirvana's ‘All Apologies’, have led to numerous fans calling for a full live project.

Luke Grimes confirms, “I'm sure we'll do a live album at some point. You know, when the time is right”, before adding with a modest chuckle, “I had my very first live show ever last year as a frontman, so I might wait a little bit before throwing a live album out there...!”

The new - and final - season of Yellowstone , starring Luke Grimes, Kelly Reilly, Cole Hauser and more, is set to air on November 10th, 2024, with Grimes kicking off his Playin’ on the Tracks tour, featuring Carter Faith, the day before in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Luke Bryan's Farm Tour is coming to Smithton tonight. Here's what you need to know.

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Country music star Luke Bryan is bringing his Farm Tour to Smithton Borough in Westmoreland County on Saturday. 

Bryan will perform at the Cunningham Family farm at 355 Fitz Henry Road in Smithton at 6 p.m. It will be the final stop on his Farm Tour after he held shows in North Carolina, Kentucky and Ohio.

Bryan, who is known for hits like "Country Girl," "One Margarita" and "That's My Kind of Night," is set to bring out other acts, including Tucker Wetmore and Conner Smith. Joyce Cunningham said her family farm is preparing for about 20,000 people to crash the party .

"Biggest deal maybe ever for Smithton," she told KDKA-TV in May.

Getting the nearly 20,000 ticket holders onto the farm will take a team of about 100 Pennsylvania State Police troopers, 300 security guards and a parking management team. There are about 7,000 parking spots, so people are asked to carpool.

"Our fields are fairly flat," Josh Cunningham said. "We haven't had a lot of ruts this summer. With the dry weather, we have a really good field condition."

Heavy traffic expected for Luke Bryan concert

In a post on the social media platform X , Pennsylvania State Police said people on Saturday should expect heavy traffic in and around the concert area, including Interstate 70 and State Route 50.

"Please plan accordingly and avoid these areas unless absolutely necessary," the post said. 

All traffic is expected to arrive through Interstate 70, exiting at the Smithton exit. 

There will be three entrances to get people in. Drivers must come off of Interstate 70 and take Fitz Henry Road to the farm. The road will be turned into two lanes of inbound traffic before the concert and two lanes of outbound traffic after the event.

PennDOT said due to construction, Route 51 has a single-lane restriction at the Interstate 70 interchange between McKenery Drive/Snyder Lane and Cobble Lane/Porter Road. 

Luke Bryan concert road closures 

State police said several local roads will be closed due to Saturday's concert. 

Fitz Henry Road will be closed from the concert site to Skyline Drive, which will be closed from its intersection with Fitz Henry Road to State Route 981 in Smithton. Sherbondy Road will be closed at the intersection with Motordome Road, and Painter-Koser Road will be closed. 

The roads will be open to local residents only. 

What times do parking lots open for the Luke Bryan concert?

Parking lots open at 2 p.m. on Saturday, state police said. No vehicles are allowed in the parking area until the opening time of 2 p.m. 

"Vehicles will not be permitted to stop and wait on Fitz Henry Road before the lots open," state police said. 

Everyone entering the parking lot must show proof of a valid concert ticket. During the concert, law enforcement will be on Fitz Henry Road near the farm to make sure people are not stopping to listen. 

"People can't just come and hang out. You have to be here for the Luke Bryan concert," Josh Cunningham said.

Odds and ends

According to Luke Bryan's website , people are encouraged to arrive early to avoid the rush as long lines at the gates form before showtime. Chairs and blankets are allowed inside in designated areas.
