mike epps tour 2023 lineup

MIKE EPPS is generating an extraordinary amount of buzz among his peers for being not only one of the funniest comic actors in town, but also for his burgeoning dramatic talent.

Mike can be seen in season three of the Netflix comedy “The UpShaws” which he stars in and produces. The show is set in his hometown of Indiana about a working class family. The show has been nominated for two NAACP Image Awards and a 2021 People’s Choice Award. In May of 2023 he can be seen starring in the Amazon Prime show “I am a Virgo” which will premiere at the SXSW festival. In 2022 his sixth stand up special “Indiana Mike” premiered on Netflix shot in his hometown of Indianapolis . He can currently be seen in the HBO Max series “Winning Time” ; the Netflix comedy special “Snoop Dogg’s F*cn Around” and in “The Come Up” for director Sanaa Lathan on Paramount+. He recently wrapped the Sony / Marvel film “Black Madam” which will premiere in February 2024.

In the last couple years he has been seen in the Amazon feature “Troup Zero” starring opposite Viola Davis, Allison Janney, and Jim Gaffigan; and in the A24 film “The Last Black Man in San Francisco” which both premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival. In 2019, his fifth stand up special “Just One Mike” premiered on Netflixs and he starred opposite Eddie Murphy in the comedy “Dolemite is my Name” which was nominated for Golden Globe, Broadcast Film Critic Awards and a NAACP Image Award. In 2017 Harper Collins published his first book, Unsuccessful Thug about his life growing up around violence and how comedy gave him a better life.

Mike was seen in the HBO-Emmy Winning biopic “Bessie” based on Bessie Smith, played by Queen Latifah. The film chronicles how Smith overcame her tempestuous personal life to become one of the most acclaimed performing and recording artists of the 1920s and ’30s, earning the nickname Empress of the Blues. Mike plays Richard Morgan, a bootlegger and romantic interest to Bessie Smith. The film also won a Critics Choice Award for “best mini- series/ movie” as well as a Primetime Emmy for “Television Movie or Limited Series.” Mike was seen in three seasons of the Starz series “Survivor’s Remorse” produced LeBron James and Mike O’Malley which he won a 2016 NAACP Image award for “Best Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series” for his portrayal as Uncle Julius.

In 2011, he was awarded an NAACP Image Award for “Best Supporting Actor” for his role in the Sony Pictures film, “Jumping the Broom.” He continued to receive critical praise for his dramatic turn in 2012 with “Sparkle,” opposite Whitney Houston and Jordan Sparks. In 2016 he further pursued his dramatic side with two important roles: starring opposite Forest Whitaker and Anthony Mackie in the Lionsgate thriller, “Repentance,” being released through Lionsgate/Codeblack Entertainment., followed by the independent Nina Simone biopic, “Nina,” starring Zoe Saldana. In “Nina,” he plays the legendary Richard Pryor, who opened for the singer in the early 60’s.

He is also currently on a national stand up tour and since 2000, Epps steadily climbed his way up the stand-up comedy ranks when he was recognized by a national audience in 1995 for appearing on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam (which, years later, he would go on to host). During a performance at LA’s Comedy Store, Epps caught the attention of Ice Cube. This led to the first of three feature films they would do together: the cult hits “Next Friday,” “Friday after Next,” and “All About the Benjamins.”

Other features include the Hangover franchise, “Girls Trip” “Faster,” “Hancock,” “Lottery Ticket,” “Next Day Air,” “Roll Bounce,” “The Fighting Temptations”, the Resident Evil franchise, “Bait”, “How High,” “Dr.Dolittle 2”, “Talk to Me”, and “Guess Who?”

Epps has been seen in over 40 cities and 3 continents live doing standup.

NFL DFS, Week 1: Best DraftKings, FanDuel daily Fantasy football picks include Zamir White, Terry McLaurin

Dfs millionaire mike mcclure shares his top nfl dfs picks for the week 1 nfl schedule on sunday.

mike epps tour 2023 lineup

The Week 1 NFL DFS player pool will be stocked with big names, including Josh Allen, Tyreek Hill, Alvin Kamara and Justin Jefferson. However, those looking for value in your Week 1 NFL DFS lineups on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel should consider rostering Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield. Mayfield eclipsed 4,000 passing yards in a single season for the first time in 2023 and now he'll square off against a Commanders defense that gave up the most Fantasy points per game to opposing QBs last year.

Will Mayfield provide tournament-winning value in Week 1, or should you build your Week 1 NFL DFS lineups around a QB like Tua Tagovailoa, Joe Burrow or Kirk Cousins? Before locking in any NFL DFS lineups for Week 1 on sites like DraftKings and FanDuel, be sure to  check out the NFL DFS advice, strategy, and stacks from SportsLine daily Fantasy expert Mike McClure .

McClure is a legendary professional DFS player with more than $2 million in career winnings. He uses a powerful prediction model that simulates every snap of NFL action, taking factors such as matchups, statistical trends, and injuries into account. This allows him to find the best DFS values that he shares only with members at SportsLine. His methodology has led to enormous cashes on FanDuel and DraftKings, including. Last year, he won the DraftKings Millionaire Maker twice and the FanDuel Million once. Anyone who has followed him is way up.

Now, McClure has turned his attention to the Week 1 NFL schedule on Sunday and just locked in his top daily Fantasy football picks.  You can only see his picks and analysis at SportsLine .

Top NFL DFS picks for Week 1

One of McClure's top NFL DFS picks for Sunday is Raiders running back Zamir White at $5,700 on DraftKings and $6,400 on FanDuel. After letting Josh Jacobs leave via free agency, White looks to be the Raiders' lead running back in Week 1.

With Jacobs sidelined for the final four games of last season, White averaged a whopping 23.3 touches per game. He's expected to see a large workload again in Week 1 and he has a juicy matchup against the Chargers. Los Angeles' defense gave up 362.9 yards per game last season, which ranked 28th in the NFL. Lock White in your NFL DFS lineups and look for a big return on Sunday.

McClure's optimal Week 1 NFL DFS strategy also includes rostering Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin at $5,600 on DraftKings and $6,200 on FanDuel. McLaurin has been the model of consistency in Washington despite playing with a slew of quarterbacks during his tenure.

McLaurin has hauled in at least 75 receptions and recorded more than 1,000 yards in each of his past four seasons. He's never averaged fewer than 12.3 Fantasy points per game and he'll look to take advantage of a Buccaneers secondary that ranked 29th against the pass last season, giving up 248.9 passing yards per game. That level of consistency coupled with his advantageous matchup make McLaurin a reliable option at wide receiver for your Week 1 NFL DFS lineups.  See who else McClure likes right here .

How to set Week 1 NFL DFS lineups, player pools

McClure is also targeting another undervalued player who could explode for huge numbers in Week 1. This pick could be the difference between winning your tournaments and cash games or going home with nothing. You can only see who it is, and the rest of McClure's NFL DFS picks, at SportsLine .

So who is Mike McClure including in his optimal NFL DFS lineups for Week 1, and which under-the-radar NFL DFS picks offer huge value?  Visit SportsLine now to see optimal NFL DFS picks, rankings, advice, and stacks, all from a daily Fantasy expert with more than $2 million in winnings , and find out.

Mets, Jeff McNeil

  • Manny Gómez | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com

NEW YORK — Mets second baseman Jeff McNeil “didn’t think much” after getting hit on the wrist by a 74 mph curveball on Saturday. He wears a wrist guard for that reason and didn’t feel much pain after taking first base.

But as time wore on, his wrist began to swell. Taking practice swings in the batting cages inside the facilities at Citi Field proved difficult, especially when turning his wrist on the backswing.
