Reba McEntire Tickets on Country Music On Tour

Reba McEntire is currently booked for a limited engagement of concerts at The Colosseum in Las Vegas’s Ceasar’s Palace with the legendary Brooks & Dunn , as well as a short run of concerts in summer 2021

“I can’t wait to see everybody when we know it’s safe to gather again,” McEntire added in a statement. “We’ve worked so hard on this new show and I’ll be ready to go as soon as we get the green light!” In addition to her arena tour, the country star has also canceled a number of her Las Vegas residency dates with Brooks & Dunn this year including the residency’s April and June shows. Reba, Brooks & Dunn: Together in Vegas is currently scheduled to return in October.

Reba McEntire Biography

Reba Nell McEntire , known simply as Reba, is more than just an American country music singer and actress; she’s a living legend, the embodiment of the heart and soul of country music. With tour dates that have resonated with fans around the world, Reba has proven time and again why she’s hailed as “the Queen of Country.” Her journey from a humble Oklahoma upbringing to the bright lights of Nashville is a story of passion, perseverance, and profound talent.

Tour Dates That Tell a Tale:

  • Reba’s music has touched the hearts of millions, with over 100 singles gracing the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart since the 1970s, and an astounding 25 of those singles reaching the coveted number one spot.
  • Her live shows are legendary, where fans experience the magic of her timeless hits. From the moment she steps on stage, Reba weaves a musical tapestry that captivates her audience.

Awards and Achievements:

  • Grammy Award Winner for the iconic “Whoever’s in New England.”
  • An unstoppable force in country music, Reba has sold over 75 million records worldwide, solidifying her status as a true country icon.

Born and raised in Oklahoma, Reba’s journey began as a young girl, singing harmonies with her siblings as “The Singing McEntires.” They performed at local events, planting the seeds of what would become an extraordinary career. Her path led her to Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she studied to be a teacher while continuing to pursue her musical dreams.

Nashville Calling:

The turning point came when the talented Red Steagall discovered Reba’s enchanting voice at a rodeo event. Steagall’s belief in her potential led to a life-changing moment. With Steagall’s help, she secured a recording contract with PolyGram/Mercury Records in 1975, embarking on her journey to Nashville.

A Musical Evolution:

While her early years with PolyGram/Mercury Records saw moderate success, it was her transition to MCA Records in 1984 that marked a new chapter. “My Kind of Country” was a game-changer, bringing two number one Billboard country singles and a shift towards a more traditional musical style.

In 1991, tragedy struck when Reba lost eight of her band members in a plane crash, leading to her critically acclaimed album, “For My Broken Heart.” This profound experience inspired her highest-selling album to date.

The Artistic Chameleon:

Reba’s career isn’t limited to music; her versatility shines in the world of acting. From her film debut in “Tremors” to her role as Annie Oakley in the Broadway musical “Annie Get Your Gun,” she’s left an indelible mark.

In 2001, “Reba,” the TV series where she starred, graced our screens, and her recent venture as a coach on “The Voice” from 2023 onwards is a testament to her timeless appeal.

Reba’s life is a true embodiment of the American dream, a tale of family, love, and unwavering dedication. Her journey from the heart of Oklahoma to the epicenter of country music in Nashville is a testament to the power of dreams and the ability to transcend boundaries.

More than 250 artists, including Billie Eilish, Green Day, Sia and Cyndi Lauper, signed a letter Thursday urging the Senate Commerce Committee to support a bill that would reform the ticketing system for live events.

Missy elliott to launch first-ever headlining tour this summer, live nation loses bid to dismiss investor class action lawsuit over antitrust scrutiny.

“As artists and members of the music community, we rely on touring for our livelihood, and we value music fans above all else,” the letter said in part . “We are joining together to say that the current system is broken: predatory resellers and secondary platforms engage in deceptive ticketing practices to inflate ticket prices and deprive fans of the chance to see their favorite artists at a fair price.”

Fix the Tix, a national advocacy coalition of live event industry organizations, spearheaded by the National Independent Venue Association and Eventbrite, organized the letter, which was also signed by Finneas, Dave Matthews, Lorde, Train, Fall Out Boy, Graham Nash, Duran Duran, Nile Rodgers, Becky G, Julia Michaels, Major Lazer, Julien Baker, Chappell Roan, Ben Folds, Diplo and more.

“It is clear that everyone in the live event ecosystem, from artists, to venues, to fans, demand comprehensive ticketing reform and consumer protection against the predatory ticket resale practices that have deeply afflicted live entertainment in the United States,” Stephen Parker, executive director of the National Independent Venue Association, wrote in a statement.

“Fix the Tix is proud to deliver this critical call to action from artists whose fans experience the injustices of the resale market every show,” he continued. “We hope their message resonates with Congress, as officials elected to protect their constituents and as Americans who simply love music. The time for comprehensive ticketing reform is now.”

Frustrations with the ticketing industry have recently grown, notably after consumers experienced errors and long wait times when trying to purchase tickets for Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour in 2022, leading to an investigation by the Department of Justice and a lawsuit from fans .

On an earnings call in May last year, Joe Berchtold, CFO of Live Nation , which owns Ticketmaster , said the company was supportive of the bills and viewed the legislation as helpful to the ticketing business.

Reba McEntire Will Host the 2024 ACM Awards

  • By Kory Grow

Nobody has hosted more Academy of Country Music Awards telecasts than Reba McEntire , who first hoisted a microphone to read folksy jokes off a teleprompter in 1986. Her determination to hold onto that rare statistic has led her to agree to host the show yet again next month, marking her record 17th appearance.

The ceremony will be the 59th ACMs, so if Rolling Stone’s math editors and research department are correct, that means McEntire will have emceed a whopping 28.8 percent of all ACMs. (That’s a larger percentage than Bob Hope, the Oscars’ most omnipresent host, who led the show 19 times, or only 19.8 precent of all Academy Awards. Billy Crystal, incidentally, accounts for only 9.4 percent.)

And if you miss the livestream, Prime will make it available the next day for free via Amazon Freevee and the Amazon Music app. And if you miss it altogether, there’s always an outside chance McEntire will host again.

Luke Combs, Megan Moroney, and Morgan Wallen are the leading nominees . The 2024 ACMs also marks the return of the New Duo or Group of the Year award — with nods for Neon Union, Restless Road, and Tigirlily Gold — for the first time since 2018.

Reba McEntire Announces 17-Date Fall Arena Tour with Terri Clark: 'Ready to Get Back Out There'

The country superstar wrapped the first leg of Reba: Live in Concert in March

Reba McEntire is hitting the road — again!

The country singer announced a second leg of her Reba: Live in Concert arena tour on Monday, which will kick off in October in Lafayette, Louisiana.

"I can't wait to see everyone out on the road again this fall," the star, 67, said in a statement. "We had so much fun in the spring and I'm ready to get back out there with my buddy Terri Clark !"

Clark, 53, a longtime friend, will join McEntire through November on the 17-date tour, the first leg of which wrapped in March.

Because of COVID-related delays, the three-time Grammy Award winner waited two long years to get Reba: Live in Concert up and running, all while grappling with the loss of her mother Jacqueline , who died in March 2020 during initial rehearsals.

"I was in Oklahoma helping my brother and sisters take care of Momma, flying back and forth to Nashville (for) rehearsals," McEntire recalled to USA Today . "She passed in the middle of March and I went back home for the funeral. That's when COVID broke out. We didn't even get to have a funeral."

She continued: "You talk about tailspin? Everybody was like, 'What's going on? What's COVID?' And here we are, two years later, getting to do a show that everybody was really excited about. It was better than any of us could've imagined."

In addition to her tour, McEntire has a busy schedule ahead — she's set to join the cast of the ABC crime drama Big Sky for its upcoming third season, and recently announced that she'll star in and executive producer the Lifetime movie Reba McEntire's The Hammer .

"Everybody knows that I want to have fun doing what I'm doing," she told USA Today . "I want to do work that's fun."

Tickets will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. local time. Fans who sign up for McEntire's email list can access a presale starting Tuesday at 10 a.m. local time, as can Citi cardmembers.

All About Anthony Ramos, Team Reba’s Mega Mentor on The Voice

Anthony Ramos joins  The Voice  Season 25 as the Playoff Mentor for Team Reba.

reba mcentire first tour

Contestants on The Voice are under a lot of pressure to put their best musical foot forward in a high-stakes competition happening in front of a live audience. Fortunately, they have the assistance of a celebrity Coach (or Coaches) in John Legend, Chance the Rapper, Reba McEntire, and The Voice ’s first ever Coaching duo Dan + Shay.

How to Watch

Watch  The Voice Mondays and Tuesdays at 8/7c on NBC and next day on Peacock.

That’s more than a lot of musicians can hope for, but as the competition ramps up it might not be enough. With that in mind, Award-winning Country music star Keith Urban has entered the fray as Season 25’s Mega Mentor , providing some additional guidance to every Artist on every team. Without any loyalty to one Team over another or any Artist over another, Urban can offer a unique perspective the Coaches may not be able to see.

Just in case that isn’t enough, the Coaches are calling in a collection of Playoff Mentors as reinforcements. Unlike Urban, each Playoff Mentor will be dedicated to just one team, and Queen Reba McEntire chose star  Anthony Ramos .

What Does Anthony Ramos Do as a Playoff Mentor?

Maluma Saweetie Meghan Trainor Anthony Ramos

If Reba is the Head Coach of her team, then Ramos will serve as something of an assistant Coach during the Playoff phase of the competition. He and the other Playoff Mentors –– Meghan Trainor (Team Chance), Saweetie (Team Dan + Shay), and Maluma (Team Legend) –– will provide support to their respective Coaches and take the lead when their skills or insight might be more applicable.

They can be a sounding board for both the Coaches and the Artists, they can provide a gut check or be the tiebreaker when the path forward is unclear. The role of Playoff Mentor isn’t well-defined, and that’s by design. Music, like all creative work, is inherently malleable and the best mentors have to be able to know when to redirect and when to go with the flow.

In the end, the Playoff Mentor can be whatever the Coach and the Artist need them to be. What’s important is the unique perspective, talent, and experience they bring to the endeavor. Fortunately for Team Reba, those are just the qualities Ramos brings to the table.

Who Is Anthony Ramos, Playoff Mentor for Team Reba?

You’ve probably heard of Ramos or at least heard his voice, even if you don’t know it. He’s lent a hand and a voice to some of the coolest and most culturally relevant works of the last decade and his star is still rising. “He’s done television, movies, Broadway. He’s a Grammy award winner, and solo performer. He does it all,” said Reba McEntire. “He’s the perfect person to be a Mentor.”

Ramos is perhaps most well-known for originating the dual roles of John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the original cast of Lin Manuel-Miranda’s Broadway hit, Hamilton . The 2020 stage recording of the play (recorded in 2016) earned Ramos an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Supporting Role in a Limited Series or Movie.

Ramos has a voice and a stage presence so powerful that it forged a path all the way from Broadway to Hollywood. In recent years, he has played the lead in the screen adaptation of In the Heights (another Lin Manuel-Miranda joint) and supporting roles in A Star is Born , The Bad Guys , Trolls World Tour , and more. Soon, you’ll see him fleeing whirlwinds in Universal's much-anticipated return to tornado alley,  Twisters .

In the meantime, catch him as a Playoff Mentor on The Voice, Mondays at 8/7c  on NBC and next day on Peacock.
