Taylor Swift gives her all onstage.

“So I guess all the rumors are true.”

Everybody remain calm —  Taylor Swift just officially announced a second North American leg of her ‘Eras Tour’ with special guest Gracie Abrams in October and November 2024.

This time around, she’ll swing into Miami , New Orleans , Indianapolis and Toronto for 15 additional gigs.

Lo and behold they were correct.

Best of all, you can swiftly pick up tickets as soon as today .

Although inventory isn’t available on Ticketmaster until Thursday, Aug. 10, fans who want to ensure they have tickets ahead of time can purchase on sites like Vivid Seats before tickets are officially on sale.

What you need to know about the second North American leg of the ‘Eras Tour’

The rumors began swirling when popular gossip blog DeuxMoi tweeted “A list singer will be doing a second US leg of her very popular tour.” Fans were quick to assume Ms.Swift was the A-lister in reference and to no surprise the buzz spread like wildfire.

Now that the prophecy is official, here’s the scoop on everything we know so far:

  • Who? For the international tour, Taylor announced Sabrina Carpenter will serve as the opening act. When she returns to North America, Gracie Abrams will return to the stage as Swift’s opener. It should be said that Gracie Abrams is a star in her own right. Her song “I miss you, I’m sorry” has upwards of 100 million streams on Spotify and she headlined her own tour this spring as well.
  • What? Pre-sale registration is live now. You can register for verified presale ASAP with the sale happening next week. Fans will find out whether they’ve been chosen for presale on August 8. Fans that don’t want to wait can grab tix on Vivid Seats ASAP.
  • When? Taylor’s second leg of her U.S. tour starts on Oct. 18, 2024 in Miami, FL.
  • Where? As of now, Swift will be hitting the following cities: Miami, FL, New Orleans (LA), and Indianapolis (IN). Plus, we can’t forget to mention what fans knew had to be coming: Taylor will also be stopping in Toronto, ON, CA for six (!) nights.

For Swifties both who have and haven’t seen Taylor’s bejeweling ‘Eras Tour’ yet this announcement is BIG. Don’t wait on looking at the added dates as tickets are expected to move fast (per usual).

Huge stars on tour in 2023

she is unstoppable. Diva admires her longevity and being passionate for her career, She is extremely hardworking unlike other popstars, they would have starting a family and getting pregnant all the times at their peaks. When they came back, their popularity never be the same. She is smart and with huge ambition, we love these role model artists.

There’s no denying her ambition. She’s dedicated to giving the fans content after content. I can’t think of another musician who has re-recorded their past albums with this much success. Still waiting for her to lose control and go off the rails, then flop and come back. But she’s managed to stay successful and not go this route so more power to her.

Beyoncé now holds the top 4 highest grossing tours by black artist of all time:

MAYONNAISE.

Taylor is not Beyonces peer. Beyonce is nearly a decade older than her. Beyonce was breaking records and changing the game at Taylor’s age. And she’s still breaking records and changing the game at 42 years old. Her actual peers could never. Let’s see where Taylor is in another 10 years.

Taylor is at a higher level in her career 17 years in than Beyoncé was 17 years in.

Taylor can push more than a million first week in pure sales in the STREAMING era. Beyoncé couldn’t push more than a million first week in pure sales in the PURE SALES era lmaoooooooooooo 🤣 Clowns.

Do not denounce Taylor’s success due to the majority or most music consumers being white….

…because the dominant music genre in sales is Hip-Hop. Which makes your argument null and void 💋

RENAISSANCE World Tour” concerts at the Rogers Centre in Toronto now break the record as the highest-grossing concerts by a female act in Canadian history, with $9.149 million each night.

Nothing you say is true. Lies, smoke and mirrors. Just like your flop fave 💋

NOTHING Trailer has achieved isn’t due to a jar of MAYONNAISE so it is all INVALID & UNINPRESSIVE…

The TWEEN KPOP crowd is INVALID.

Because Appealing to that crowd is EASY.

They don’t even like TALENT or MUSICALITY.

Hip-Hop is the biggest selling music genre. Your point is null and void 💋

Hip hop is actually the 2nd biggest you dimwit.

White folk music is #1 (K-POP, BlackPink, TRAILER SWIFT, ADELE, HARRY STYLES)

White folk music? lmaoooooooooooo 🤣 Name a huge white folk artist right now 👀 I’ll wait… 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Morgan Wallen is Country so he’s not included lol.

Taylor is huge because of her talent and her amazing pen game.

Or all white artists would be just as big.

TRAILER Swift pengame is good but Bohemian Rhapsody she is NOT.

And even TRAILOR knows she’s NOT talented which is why she’s so extra gracious and genuinely SHOCKED everytime she wins an award 😆

TRAILER SWIFT is only big due to 3 things:

IMAGE, MARKETING, & POLITICS.

NOT talent/music.

*EATS MAYONNAISE* 🥄

@LaShantae August 9, 2023 Renaissance sold in a year (SPS) what Midnights sold in the first week (PURE SALES).”

^^^ AND????

WHATS YUR ENTIRE POINT?

Beyoncé also does not make WHITE FOLK music either…

Nor is she WHITE.

Thus yur argument is 100% INVALID

BMS definitely sounds like music white folks usually buy into 🤣

Renaissance = NO VISUAL/PROMO

Unlike MID-nights.

Beyoncé – Video for every song and surprise released

Lemonade – video for every song and released as a movie

Neither came close to Midnights first week PURE sales 🤣

Actually they DID come close.

Beyoncé 10 day sells were 1 million.

Also we are comparing…

BLACK SKIN VS WHITE SKIN.

Black music vs MAYO MUSIC 🎶

Let’s call a spade a spade ♠️ Taylor keeps adding shows to her already tour to keep up with Beyoncé or to surpass her if possible. She haven’t released any numbers yet

Taylor Swift fans convinced star is adding more Eras Tour dates after cryptic post

Many Taylor Swift fans couldn't get tickets for the first US leg of the Eras Tour, but new rumours of a potential second US leg have given them renewed hope

us tour leg 2

  • 19:37, 20 Jul 2023
  • Updated 19:57, 20 Jul 2023

Rumours have began to circulate that suggest Taylor Swift may just be bringing her Eras Tour back to the United States for another leg of the tour. Right now, she's set to wrap up the first leg of the tour on August 9 in Los Angeles. The Eras Tour then continues on August 24 in Mexico City.

Popular gossip blog, Deuxmoi, posted on Twitter : "A list singer will be doing a second US leg of her very popular tour."

While Taylor isn't the only A-lister currently on tour, therefore the blog could be referring to someone else, fans are already excited and speculating the rumours pertain to Ms Swift.

The replies to Deuxmoi's tweet are flooded with optimistic claims that the star in question is Taylor. In fact, practically no other fan base is attempting to weigh in on the conversation.

One fan wrote: "Only Taylor has the demand for this. honestly I see no other artist having a huge demand which would require them to do a second US show."

Ticketmaster has previously said that ticket "demand drastically exceeds supply" for Beyonce's Renaissance Tour. Taylor's Eras Tour, "broke records" though in terms of demand for tickets, according to Ticketmaster . It is unclear at this time which tour outsold the other.

Other fans are hopeful that another leg of the Eras Tour in North America will include Canada this time. The country was notably overlooked in Taylor's first round of touring.

A fan wrote: "I told people to trust Taylor in regard to Canadian dates and that she’ll go on a second US leg."

In June, a report from Pollstar revealed that Taylor Swift was ranked number one of "highest-grossing tours at the halfway mark of what looks to be a record-setting year for the live industry". The tour had grossed $300,804,808 (£233,000) with over 1million tickets sold. This is something fans are proud of.

On Twitter, a fan said: "Mother making sure nobody’s ever breaking The Eras Tour’s record for highest grossing tour EVER."

Mother is what Swifties affectionately call Taylor.

Yet, some fans worry that another US leg could bring with it more anxiety since the tickets were so hard to get the first time around. After all, the first round of ticket purchases caused what some fans refer to as "The Great War". After the ticket sale continuously crashed Ticketmaster, Senators even asked the Justice Department to investigation Ticketmaster's policies.

HOUSTON (AP) — Time marches on and all good things must come to an end. But don’t tell that to The Rolling Stones .

What many believe to be the greatest rock ’n’ roll band in the world showed no signs of slowing down anytime soon as they kicked off their latest tour Sunday night at Houston’s NRG Stadium.

The Stones have been touring for more than 60 years. Frontman Mick Jagger and lead guitarist Keith Richards are both 80, with guitarist Ronnie Wood not far behind at 76. Their tour is being sponsored in part by AARP.

But during a vibrant two-hour show, the Stones played with the energy of band that was on tour for the first time.

“It’s great to be back in the Lone Star State,” Jagger told the packed stadium, filled with longtime fans, many wearing faded concert shirts from previous tours.

Jagger often strutted up and down the stage with seemingly boundless energy while Richards and Wood played many familiar guitar riffs beloved by fans. Jagger often led the audience in sing-alongs.

“The energy level is up and it’s always up with them. The age doesn’t show,” Dale Skjerseth, the Stones’ production director, said Friday before the concert.

The Stones have hit the road to support the release of their latest album, “Hackney Diamonds,” the band’s first record of original music since 2005.

Houston was the first stop on the band’s 16-city tour across the U.S. and Canada. Other cities on the tour include New Orleans, Philadelphia and Vancouver, British Columbia. The tour ends on July 17 in Santa Clara, California.

During Sunday’s 18-song concert set list, the Stones played several tracks off the new record, including lead single “Angry.” They also played classics including “Sympathy for the Devil,” “Gimme Shelter,” Honky Tonk Women” and “Start Me Up.”

After playing “Beast of Burden,” Jagger said that concertgoers in Houston had voted to include it on the set list.

“You can’t go wrong with that,” one man in the audience could be heard screaming.

The Stones also played some unexpected choices, including “Rocks Off,” from their 1972 double album “Exile on Main St.” and “Out of Time,” a 1966 song that Jagger said during the concert had not ever been played by the band in the U.S.

With the 2021 death of drummer Charlie Watts , the Stones are now comprised of the core trio of Jagger, Richards and Wood. On Sunday, they were backed by various musicians including two keyboardists, a new drummer, backup singers and a brass section.

While the stage was surrounded by a large collection of video screens projecting images throughout the show, the main focus of the concert was the band and their songs

Before Sunday’s concert, Jagger spent time on Friday touring NASA’s Johnson Space Center in suburban Houston, posting photos on his Instagram account of him with astronauts inside Mission Control.

“I had an amazing trip to the space center,” Jagger said.

When asked if the band might be thinking about retiring, Skjerseth said he doubts that will happen.

“This is not the end. They’re very enthused,” he said.

This story has been updated to correct a song title to “Gimme Shelter,” not “Gimmer Shelter.”

adidas' Three-Stripes Trademark Lawsuit Against Thom Browne Will Not Go Back to Court

The u.s. court of appeals ruled against adidas’ appeal to overturn the jury’s verdict, and judge jed rakoff ruled against a motion for a new trial..

Thom Browne Takes Two More Wins in Legal Battle Over Stripes With adidas

On Friday, Thom Browne again won the court’s favor in his ongoing legal battle with adidas over his usage of stripes on his designs, according to WWD .

The United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled against adidas’ appeal to overturn an eight-person jury’s verdict in Manhattan’s Southern District Court in January of last year. At the time, the jury declared that the American luxury designer did not infringe on adidas’ Three Stripes trademark and therefore was not liable for damages or profits from selling products with four stripes or its trademark grosgrain ribbon.

Tiger Woods accepts special exemption into 124th U.S. Open

Nine-time usga champion to make his 23rd u.s. open appearance at pinehurst.

Change Text Size

Tiger Woods has accepted a special exemption to play the 124th U.S. Open, the United States Golf Association (USGA) announced Thursday.

Woods will make his 23rd start at the U.S. Open, third at Pinehurst No. 2 and first since 2020 at Winged Foot Golf Club. It's the first time in Woods' career that he didn't qualify for the U.S. Open on his own merit. Woods' five-year major championship exemption for winning the 2019 Masters ran out earlier this year.

Woods, 48, has won the 2000, 2002 and 2008 U.S. Open Championships in addition to 12 other major championships and 82 total PGA TOUR victories in his Hall of Fame career. His nine USGA titles, matched only by Bobby Jones, include three consecutive U.S. Junior Amateurs (1991-1993) followed by three straight U.S. Amateurs (1994-1996) and an overall USGA match play record of 42-3.

“The U.S. Open, our national championship, is a truly special event for our game and one that has helped define my career,” said Woods. “I’m honored to receive this exemption and could not be more excited for the opportunity to compete in this year’s U.S. Open, especially at Pinehurst, a venue that means so much to the game.”

One of golf’s five Grand Slam winners, Woods’ incredible 15 major championship victories are second all-time to only Jack Nicklaus (18) and include three wins at The Open, four at the PGA Championship and five at the Masters. Most recently, he triumphed at Augusta National in 2019 to bookend an 11-year stretch between major championships.

“The story of the U.S. Open could not be written without Tiger Woods,” said USGA Chief Championships Officer John Bodenhamer. “From his 15-stroke victory at Pebble Beach in 2000 to his inspiring win on a broken leg at Torrey Pines in 2008, this championship is simply better when Tiger is in the field, and his accomplishments in the game undoubtedly made this an easy decision for our special exemption committee.”

As an amateur, Woods was a member of the 1995 USA Walker Cup Team and 1994 USA World Amateur Team. A seven-time member of the U.S. Ryder Cup Team, he served as assistant captain for the 2016 matches, and he has competed in nine Presidents Cups, including as a playing captain in 2019.

The U.S. Open will be contested June 13-16 on Pinehurst Resort & Country Club’s Course No. 2, in the village of Pinehurst, North Carolina.
