Great trip, Allie has been wonderful, if you are looking for great photos she's your girl. Finally saw the Chichen Itza and that was the goal of my trip, so the goal was achieved! We got fortunate with the weather too.

Recently I had the chance to experience my first solo trip. The trip to Tarvisio and Sappada with Windy was very relaxing and enjoyable. Windy made sure that we had all we needed for a memorable skiing experience. Katharina organized a perfect long-weekend trip in Tallinn (Estonia) for us. It was a perfect mixture between sightseeing the Tallinn city and exploring the nature of Estonia. Kathy is well organized trip leader and has a trait to listen to anyones wishes, which made the trip easy going and nice. I had so much fun with the whole group, we never stopped laughing. Thanks to Kathy I had a perfect weekend and there is no doubt I will join her in  some future trip again. Highly recommend you to join her trips as well!

The Sicily trip was a good experience. Monica is a very friendly and communicative person who created a good mood during the trip. The trip itself was well organized and included relaxing on beautiful beaches as well as various local experiences (making typical Sicilian food, chocolate tasting) and sightseeing.

The trip was Amazing!! Marie is very friendly and was trying to make the best of all the time. As a suggestion would be nice to have a place near to the city center, to avoid spending time commuting, and also make sure all restaurant suggestion matches what everyone likes to eat.

Maria is a great person. The trip was perfectly planned and we saw a lot during the week. It was a very good mix of adventure, hiking and road trip. We also had a lot of fun and laughed a lot. 😂 I would do another trip with Maria in a heartbeat.

Great group of people with whom I spent very good evenings. During the day I was working remotely, so I didn't have the opportunity to take part in the trips, but Ewelina was able to accomodate with flexibility every needs we had. The accommodation was a bit too expensive given the kitchen, equipments, toilets and rooms

It was my first JoinMyTrip experience and it was wonderful. Katharina was very sweet and energetic trip leader. From the start she was good in answering all the questions and doubts I had. Communication was good and well organized. There was enough freedom to do own things and also good group activities.

Der Trip mit Olaf durch Südafrika war eine der besten Reisen die ich bisher gemacht habe. Ich glaube die wenigsten dürfen Südafrika so erleben wie wir dies mit Olaf getan haben. Menschenleere Strände, abgelegene Passstraßen, Wandertouren mit local Guides (durch Olaf organisiert), Klippenspringen an fast geheimen Orten, Delphine hautnahe erleben, Paragliding, frühstücken im Elephantenpark nachdem man die wilden Tiere beobachten konnte und abendliche Grillrunden bei dennen man über alles reden kann.

This trip exceeded my expectations! Serena is a great guide, knows so much about the region as well as other regions so gave so many tips/recommendations for future travel/dining. It was very well organised and showed us the best parts on lake Como, the Langhe wine region and Turin. It was very flexible so we were able to change things up depending on our needs. I highly recommend and would love to attend another trip in the future!

Well, well, well. This is now my second trip with Alannah and what a gal. I hate camping but she made me love it, pushed me out my comfort zone and made camping super fun! Going on this trip with Eleazar was amazing and would 100% go on another trip with him as the leader! Well organized itinerary that was thought out and executed with great communication prior and during the trip. Felt as is I knew him as long lost friends reconnecting for an amazing vacation. Iceland was a beautiful country and Eleazar was even willing to take photographs and videos with his camera and drone. If you have the opportunity to take a trip with him I highly recommended it!

This was one of the best trips I have ever had! Everything was so well organised, so many great activities with good vibes all the way! This might not be the trip for passive people who love lying on the beach only. This is an active vacation and that's exactly what I needed. Filippo is an amazing guy, with smile on his face all the time :) He introduced us with the local life of Ericeira and vibes of the city! I'll join Filippo's trips in the future for sure!

The trip was excellent, the places were beautiful and everyone enjoyed the slopes in Sestriere !!! All trip mates were very interesting and special personalities with a big variety of interestings. Serena is a very nice and experienced guide and which offers to you a plenty of things to do on your trip. Also, with this girl as your guide you will eat a lot of good food and you will try different local flavours👌👌. So, in this reason you have to join a trip with this girl, when you are hungry !😁👌

Sarah was a great host! Lots of communication between her and the group of girls I went with, so when we all met up it felt like we were already friends. She was super knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions before and during the adventure! Everyone was able to break off and do whatever we wanted in our down time, some went out for nightlife while others stayed back in and relaxed at the super nice hostels she picked out. Met some awesome girls during my travels with Sarah and I would love to visit Costa Rica again with the knowledge she shared! 🏝️🏝️

THE BEST TRIP EVEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!! ❤️🥰Before I booked a trip I haven't had any expectations. Moreover, it was my first trip booked on this platform! I was positively surprised with all the activities, accommodation and people themselves! ❤️ Everything was well organised, flexible and all the activities were adjusted to the weather. Carina and Kayo are the most positive people I've met, which also influenced entire trip itself to be even better!!! As a bonus we did additional surfing activity which wasn't included to the trip, but they were willing to help with organising it! ❤️☺️ I can highly recommend them and if anyone is hesitating about booking the trip, just do it!!! 🤍🤍🤍🤍

Great trip, 5 out of 5 thumbs up! Communication with Figo is straightforward and direct. Many beautiful hiking tours "lie" ready to be discovered. The beauty of it - everything can, nothing must! Accordingly, there is a relaxed, open atmosphere in the villa as well as a good balance of community and individuality. Everyone can bring in their own ideas or "just do it" (e.g. move tables aside - turn up the music - party ;). Kikki is just a cool sock, with which the time is fun; spontaneous haircut as well as surprising reception with cool beer after a long hiking tour - hammer! The only drawback: to drink them under the table, no way.

This trip with Miglė was my first JMT trip. Miglė was very responsive before and during the trip, giving personalized ideas of activities to do in her hometown as well as in Lithuania. It was wonderful to see some hidden gems of Druskininkai and its surroundings ! Miglė always adjusted to the group, and stayed flexible in terms of planning. She would suggest activities, but never impose. I never got bored, there were always things to do and Miglė sometimes improvised to make sure we would have the best and most complete experience. But there were also some slower, self-focusing moments with her yoga classes. If you want a trip with a good balance of active and relaxing, then I think traveling with Miglė is a perfect choice :)

10/10 would repeat with Monica as the Sicily trip really swept me of my feet :) Thanks to Monica's good planification, coordination and organization of the trip, we had many amazing and authentic adventures from local towns to big cities, we discovered new places and had many amazing new experiences and most of all, built new connections and friendships all around the world. Monica had organized this trip really well and we had so much fun activities outdoors, from relaxing in the most beautiful beaches in Sicily to making typical Sicilian food in the middle of a vineyard for barbeque+wine experience. I would definitely going to join future trips with Monica and definitely would recommend.

I spend a wonderful trip with Alex. I never would have discovered Athens on my own the way I did on the trip. Alex showed us many beautiful places in and around Athens and took us to places with amazing food and music. The trip was also well balanced in respect to sightseeing vs. nature and relaxing vs. activities. Other than that Alex was happy to change the plans based on wishes or suggestions from the participants and really focused on making everyone happy. It was also noticable that she took us to her favorite restaurants/spots in the city and not random places. This made the experience even more authentic and enjoyable. All in all I can highly recommend booking a trip with Alex. Thank you so much for the great time!

It was a great place to live during my first solo trip. Kat & Emilio are wonderful hosts who will welcome you into their beautiful home and make you part of the community. Cooking delicious and healthy meals together, keeping the house clean, nice conversations during meals and the opportunity to improve your knowledge of the Spanish language. There you can have a conversation in English, German or Spanish. Also, all the necessary information will be provided (what places to visit, restaurants for every taste, etc.) For fans of an active lifestyle, various options are available on site in Almuñekár, as well as when visiting the nearest cities, there are wide hiking opportunities with different terrain and difficulty levels. I definitely recommend checking out this place and visiting the wonderful hosts. A great time is guaranteed.

Katharina is nice. However, the trip wasn't really what I expected organization-wise. In my opinion, the choice of activities could have been better, especially the day trip to Hatta was one I wouldn't have done if I had all the information from Katharina. But one thing I loved was the yacht afternoon, which is something you can't do when you travel alone. The hotel wasn't the best choice either. I found it a pity that she wasn't there for, for example, the group's last night - indeed, I often haven't seen her. I loved the destination and everything I chose to do besides Katharina's program, but there was a lot of planning and research to do when you did want to experience a lot more (and the most important things in this city, in my opinion) even though this should have been her part. Altogether, I felt the group wasn't being informed properly and I would have wished for a better organization.

I recently had the pleasure of joining an organized trip to Tenerife with Carina, and I have to say, it was an unforgettable experience! These 3 weeks were filled with the most incredible memories, and I have Carina and Kayo to thank for that. They went above and beyond to make the trip stress-free and enjoyable. One of the highlights of the trip was the diverse range of activities and experiences they arranged for us. Whether it was exploring the island, trying new local cuisines, or simply relaxing on the beach, they made sure that every day was filled with new and exciting things to do. Their passion for travel and love for Tenerife was evident in everything they did, and it made the trip even more special. I can’t wait to go on another trip with them in the future ( see you in Portugal 😛 ) and create even more memories. Thank you, Carina and Kayo, for such an amazing experience!

The title "Vacation with Pleasure" is not a farce. Fabian takes into account the concerns and responds to his fellow travelers in the best possible way. Even small details are not bypassed or ignored. The different impressions of the island with deep valleys, high cliffs, lush vegetation, black beaches and dark tunnels, hewn through the mountains of Madeira, are literally laid in front of one's feet on this trip. Fabian's knowledge of the island and his organizational skills are spot-on and outstanding. For people who want to escape the package tourism, the ideal opportunity to travel with Fabian. A positive group dynamic is quickly established. For breakfast we shop together, in the evening we visit a restaurant in the group, and for the hiking tours we bring our own provisions. Suitable footwear and moderate head for heights I would definitely "pack" in your suitcase. The 7 days feel at least twice as long, because the adventures experienced and perspectives offered Madeira are brilliant. Don't think long with Fabian, just travel with us.

Monica has a nice,positive and friendly personality. She did her best during the trip to make it a good vacation for us. She found really nice restaurants with amazing view for Sunset dinners, showed beautiful beaches, driver the cars really safely Thank you for these memories. The preparation however was not reassuring for me. I applied for a maximum 5 mates trip (for a reason), thought to applied for the last spot, but in the end She extended it to a 9 people group (including She and here boyfriend). The program started on Friday, Finally, she was the last person who arrived at 8 p.m. She let us know, where the accomodation is, and arrange the check in, but the first day went empty. We started every day really late, did the sightseeing ín the hottest hours, however it was not only Monica's fault, it was difficult to meet everyone's needs, and its possible that it was a positive thing for someone who is not a morning person. Corfu with some destination was in the program, however I almost see nothing from it (we arrived there at 6 p.m.) It was planned for the official last day of the program, that was told As a "saying goodbye" day for me prior the trip. Other mates extended their trip with a few days, so it was fine for them to visit Korfu the last day, except me. She changed the conditions before the trip a few times,some of them was a happy change, some of them was not for me, and since the group stood up within a week before the trip, cancellation was not and option. I think these things can easily be solved with communication, and maybe would not bother everyone. She has the motivation to be a great guide and share nice memories with everyone.

Miglė is the best person someone could have for a first JMT experience! She was so welcoming and went above and beyond to make my time in Druskininkai and the rest of Lithuania amazing. I felt at ease and at home from the moment I arrived. The activities she planned for me were a perfect blend of relaxing and exciting - starting every day with yoga in the park was fantastic, but we also stayed active with hikes, bike rides, a night out in Kaunas, and kayaking with friends. Druskininkai itself is a beautiful city with a great history and plenty of interesting stories that Miglė shared. We visited museums, parks, restaurants, spas, and lakes. Even though every day was packed with activity, Miglė never made me feel rushed. Anything I wanted to do, she would take care of the booking and make sure I was able to get there easily and on time. This included rides to and from Vilnius airport. I HIGHLY recommend spending time in Lithuania and trusting Miglė as a trip leader. I hope to have many more experiences with JMT as a result of my experience. Thank you Miglė!

Best decision ever to go on a trip with JMT :)

Go on a trip with them!

Oh my god, go on a trip with them! I did a coworking trip with Anna Dung, had a blast!! We have been to Portugal, the Villa was awesome, we discovered a lots of awesome places and had Anna as the perfect Trip leader! Great concept

The concept is very nice, its a great system for people who want to travel but don't want to do it alone. I have been on one trip so far and really enjoyed it. It was very well organized and made some great friends. I will definitely use the platform again in the future.

Amazing platform to travel with new people

This niche travel platform is providing safe experiences for the lgbtq+ community.

Vacation rental apps like Airbnb have completely reshaped the travel industry. But members of the LGBTQ+ community don’t always enjoy the same experiences as others when traveling. Now, one entrepreneur is serving this community with a platform specifically built for them.

Matthieu Jost is the founder of Misterb&b , a travel platform for members of the LGBTQ+ community. Jost got the idea for this service about a decade ago during a trip to Spain with his partner. They booked a room in a shared home on another travel platform, but it was clear that the host wasn’t comfortable sharing their space with a gay couple. So they left and set out to create a solution to help other members of their community travel safely.

Jost had already launched two successful businesses in France. So he was able to raise $15 million to launch Misterb&b, which originally served gay men. Since then, the platform has expanded to cater to all members of the LGBTQ+ community. Misterb&b now has over a million users and is the largest travel community in this space.

Jost said in a recent interview with Fast Company , “We want people to be able to connect within the community and have safe experiences. We verify all of our users. We also deliver and implement tools to help people connect who are not present on mainstream platforms. For example, you can find places to stay in the gay district of a city. We have a filter for moods. If you’re talkative, you can find a talkative host. If you prefer not to chat, you can find a more introverted host. There’s also a filter for sharing interests with the hosts. About 65% of our users are solo travelers—we’re really in the business of fighting loneliness. We’re building community. It can be isolating to be LGBTQ+.”

Jost’s experience in Spain unfortunately isn’t the only negative experience that members of the LGBTQ+ community have experienced while using mainstream travel apps. As a member of this community, Jost was able to use his personal experience to create something safe and positive for others.

Creating a business that serves a niche community often comes with challenges. For example, Jost acknowledged challenges like verifying users and targeting community members with advertising. But the ability to truly connect with community members and understand their wants and needs can help founders create successful companies and happy customers.
