Our guide Sid was excellent – amusing and very informative. All the staff we came across were enthusiastic and friendly.
We had a lovely time, our guide Daniel was brilliant, very informative about the show past and present. We loved our time there had plenty of opportunities for photos, I enjoyed the exhibition at the end seeing all the outfits from characters and the rovers and Roy’s rolls set up. Fantastic would highly recommend.
The Coronation Street tour is great for fans of the show. You get to walk along the famous cobbles and see the outside sets. We chose to go on a star tour and met Andy Whyment who plays Kirk. It was good to see some peices from the set too. Our tour guide Callum was very knowledgeable and made our tour enjoyable. We would definitely recommend this tour.

CALLING on all Coronation Street fans out there - you now have the chance to walk along the iconic Cobbles of your favourite soap street while taking a trip down memory lane.
And if you're a local you can even get your hands on reduced price tickets. We've got the lowdown on everything you need to know...
How do I get tickets to the Coronation Street tour?
You can get tickets to the tour at the official website here.
Tickets start at £25 for Adult Resident's Admission which is between August and October and is available to local residents with an M postcode.
However, if you aren't from the Manchester area you can still enjoy what's on offer with a Coronation Street The Tour Admission.
The ticket which includes a fully guided tour of the famous set will set you back £35 - and children between 5-15 years can enjoy the festivities too with a half price ticket at £17.50.
And you're in luck because tours run between 9am-6pm on the weekends that the cast aren't filming - so there's ample opportunity to enjoy what's on offer.
What's included in the tour?
Be prepared to take a little trip down memory lane on the iconic Cobbles .
In an 80-minute tour you'll be guided through some of Corrie's famous landmarks - including Weatherfield's very own Rosamund Street and the never-before-seen Victoria Street.
Oh and you can even window shop at Preston's Petals and Roy's Rolls while you're at it.
During the guided tour you'll be reminded of some of the show's most gripping storylines as well as let in on a few inside secrets too if you're lucky.
And of course it's the perfect location for an Instagram-worthy selfie.
The tour takes place at Manchester's MediaCityUK in Salford, Manchester - and it's advised that you take the tram from Manchester City if you want the fastest route to the set.

Will I meet the cast?
Unfortunately it's highly unlikely that you'll get to meet any of your favourite characters as the tour takes place when the cast and crew aren't filming.
So unless you happen to be lucky enough to chance across a cast member who's decided to pop in on their day off, you might have to accept that the set is the only part of the show that you'll be able to enjoy in the flesh.
However, fret not, there's a whole host of other things to do and bundles of entertainment included in the fun day out!

Coronation Street tour: Review, pictures and secrets from the set
The first tours kicked off this weekend, but ahead of the official launch, Digital Spy was among the first to get a sneak peek at what to expect as the organisers held an official press preview earlier this week.
Here at DS , we've been lucky enough to visit the Street on previous occasions, but even for us this was a completely new experience as the tour proved to be much more than just a simple walk down the cobbles.
With the help of trained tour guides, visitors to the attraction almost become members of the crew themselves as they get an access-all-areas pass to sets, production rooms, wardrobe as well as the Street itself.
Next stop is the 'Corridor of Stars', which housed the dressing rooms of some of the show's original cast members including Bill Roache and Philip Lowrie. While some remain closed and locked, a couple have been opened up to the public for the first time to give fans an insight into the other main place where the cast relaxed in between scenes.
Interestingly, the tour guides explain that no two dressing rooms were the same, as each cast member used their rooms slightly differently. Some treated them as a 'home away from home' and even brought in beds for naps during breaks from filming, while others preferred to keep things as basic as possible.
After a quick trip into wardrobe and make-up, visitors are then guided into one of the tour's main highlights - Stage One, which housed the sets for the show's interior scenes.
Carla's former flat, the Platt family's home and the Dobbs house are among those on display, and they have been fully dressed for the tour in exactly the same way they would for a scene.
While it's often been said by those who have been lucky enough to see the sets, fans really will be struck by how small they seem in real life. For example, seeing how tiny the Platt kitchen is, it's difficult to imagine how the cast all fit in for those awkward family meals we often see!
Just like the dressing rooms, no two sets are the same. Set designers always made sure that Carla's kitchen was spotless - reflecting how infrequently she ever cooked in there - while the messier Platt house illustrates the chaotic reality of family life with David, Kylie and the kids.
Of course, no trip to Corrie would be complete without a trip to the Rovers Return, where fans have the chance to have a picture taken while pulling a pint behind the bar. This can be purchased later on in the tour, though fans are free to take their own photos once they move onto the exterior Street set.
While other sets on Stage One could be moved as filming required, The Rovers was the most important set of them all - always staying in the same place as it's required for almost every episode.
Elsewhere in the studio, there are plenty of props and memorabilia to be found from storylines old and new - from Deirdre Barlow's glasses to the tram crash rubble and Roy Cropper's train set.
Fans are also guided into the production suites for an insight into the responsibilities of the behind-the-scenes team who bring Corrie to our screens for five episodes each week.
Unsurprisingly, the highlight of the tour is the 'grand reveal' of the Street itself. Emerging from the door to Nick's Bistro, visitors are brought onto the cobbles and given free reign to explore Coronation Street and the surrounding area.
The Rovers, The Kabin, the Corner Shop, Roy's Rolls and the rest are all still standing at Quay Street as they were last year, so there are plenty of photo opportunities before the tour reaches its conclusion with a visit to the medical centre on Rosamund Street, which has now been transformed into a gift shop.
With so much covered in the 45-minute tour, it's difficult to see how any fans wouldn't be impressed by the experience. As well as the obvious excitement of touring the show's famous locations, the attraction really does offer a strong insight into what life was like for the cast and crew as they worked on some of soapland's most memorable storylines at Quay Street.
Just don't let your visit spoil the illusion too much!
The Coronation Street tour runs until October 4 and tickets are available via Ticketmaster.

Coronation Street Tickets
Coronation street show tickets.
You can peek behind the scenes of your favorite show with your purchase of Coronation Street tickets. Beginning in 1960, Coronation Street set the standard for soap operas by drawing people into the fictional world of Weatherfield. Based on the life of creator Tony Warren, its gritty realism and casual humor resonated with fans around the world. After more than 60 years and 10,000 episodes, Coronation Street is the world’s longest-running drama serial. Generations have fallen in love with the characters.
Now, audiences have the chance to meet two of the show’s younger stars, Millie Gibson and Mikey North. They play Kelly Neelan and Gary Windass respectively. North joined the cast in 2008, and Gibson came on board in 2019. Her performance as Kelly Neelan earned her a Best Young Actress award. In a revealing interview with host Neville MacKay, Gibson and North share secrets behind the show’s latest developments. There is never a dull day in Weatherfield, and holding onto family values is harder than you may think. Even lifelong fans will be surprised at what comes to light. With Coronation Street tickets, people of all ages can enjoy seeing their favorite show from an inside perspective. The past and present are intertwined, and this event will show just how much.

A balcony seat will typically run $35-$55 each. Due to the size of the theatres on Broadway, ticket prices in New York can sometimes be 50-75% more than a touring performance.

There's something about stepping into the world of a film or TV show that feels strangely familiar. Perhaps it's the local pub in a soap you've watched since you were a kid, or a grand old hotel that served as the backdrop to your favourite movie. Whatever the location, an immersive tour is a great way to take a trip down memory lane.
You don't have to go very far, either. The UK has its fair share of fascinating movie backdrops. From the cobbled streets of Corrie to Professor Sprout's greenhouse in "Harry Potter", these are some of the best film and TV sets to visit in 2024.
The Making of Harry Potter, London
The gold standard of film tours in the UK is this behind-the-scenes glimpse into the making of Harry Potter at Warner Bros. Studio in Watford (about 20 miles northwest of central London). As the studio where all eight of the iconic films were made, it's home to an array of breathtaking sets spanning everything from the whimsical streets of Diagon Alley to the grand hall at Gringotts Wizarding Bank.

The Friends Experience, London
Fans of the much-loved TV series " Friends " will be pleased to hear they don't need to venture across the pond for this next tour. To celebrate the show's 30th birthday, Warner Bros. has teamed up with Original X Productions to create "The Friends Experience: The One in London" (tickets are currently on sale ahead of the opening in August).
Set within the waterside ExCeL centre in east London, the experience will be packed with full-scale re-created sets, costumes and props. Among the highlights is the chance to play foosball at Joey and Chandler's; take a photo behind Rachel and Monica's purple door; and sink into the orange couch at the show's iconic coffee house, Central Perk.

The Paddington Bear Experience, London
Set across a series of rooms at County Hall on the South Bank in central London, this activity-packed "multi-sensory" experience takes guests on an adventure to help the Brown family prepare for the Marmalade Day Festival.
Written by Katie Lyons and directed by creative collective Immersive Octopus, the experience was crafted to celebrate the 66th anniversary of Michael Bond's first Paddington book.
Kicking off at Paddington Station, you'll jump aboard a "full size train carriage" and journey through the capital to the Brown's house at No. 32 Windsor Gardens. Here, you'll explore multiple rooms before being transported to the jungle of Peru. The experience ends with a party at Windsor Gardens with Paddington himself where you'll be treated to, you guessed it, a delicious marmalade sandwich.

Gillian McKeith rages after being ‘scammed’ out of hundreds of pounds for Taylor Swift tickets

Taylor Swift ’s Eras Tour continues in the UK – but Gillian McKeith ’s bid to get the most coveted tickets in town appears to have ended in disaster.
The American superstar, 34, has packed out stadiums across the country in recent weeks and the former TV nutritionist desperately wanted a piece of the action.
However, after Gillian believed she’d secured a pair of tickets for one of Taylor’s shows at Wembley – the June 22 date – it turned out the exact opposite had sadly occurred.
After handing over hundreds of pounds, it turned out the person she’d paid had never had tickets in the first place, leaving Gillian, 64, significantly out of pocket.
Sharing the news on social media alongside her daughter Afton, 24, Gillian had strong words for the person who ‘scammed’ her out of the precious tickets.
‘I just want to say we have a problem – we got scammed,’ she began, with the pair sitting in the back of a cab having attended a lavish do in the centre of London.
‘We had thought that we bought Taylor Swift tickets and it turned out the person was lying about having the tickets and just took our money,’ she continued.
Gillian then informed her fans that the person who claimed to have the tickets had been avoiding them: ‘And there’s been one excuse after another and they get more fantastic as each day goes on, the excuses.’
Afton then added that she was ‘devastated’ about not being able to go, with the person who scammed them apparently known to the mother-daughter pair.
‘We thought we had tickets, turns out it was all a facade and a lie just to take our money. Someone we actually knew,’ she said into the camera.
The pair then pleaded with their followers to help them secure tickets for later Wembley dates, but it’s not yet known how well that campaign is going.
Taylor’s tour is currently the subject of controversy after Foo Fighters frontman and songwriter Dave Grohl took a swipe at the Love Story singer while on stage in London.
He said: ‘I know we were joking about the Taylor Swift tour earlier, I know that she’s on her Eras Tour. I’m telling you – you don’t want to suffer the wrath of Taylor Swift.
‘So we like to call our tour the Errors Tour because I feel like we’ve had more than a few eras and more than a few f*****g errors as well. That’s because we actually play live.’
Taylor is believed to have responded to Dave’s comment almost immediately, thanking her ‘live band’ the following night during the last of her Wembley shows until August.
Swiftie superfan Gillian rose to fame in the 2000s as the host of You Are What You Eat and was a regular guest on reality food health series Supersize vs Superskinny.
After appearing on numerous reality series of the era, Gillian became one of the biggest names in the health food industry via her work on TV.
She controversially competed in the 2010 series of I’m A Celebrity, famously fainting on live TV after being nominated for yet another bushtucker trial.
Gillian became only the second contestant in the show’s 10-year history (at the time) to refuse to take part in a trial, forcing ITV to refund all those who had voted for her.
