Kasabian have are set to embark on tour dates in 2023.

After playing shows across summer 2022, the Leicester rockers are set for a string of gigs, which include Irish dates and a headline show at Leeds' Millennium Square as part of Sounds of The City.

Tickets for Kasabian's live dates are on sale now and tickets for their appearance at this year's Teenage Cancer Trust gig go on sale This Friday 3rd February.

Last week saw Kasabian play an unmissable gig at the O2 Academy Sheffield on Monday 28th Novembe r to an ecstatic crowd.

Introduced by Toby Tarrant , Radio X Presents Kasabian with Barclaycard saw the band play an intimate yet epic set in front of less than 2,000 fans, made up of Radio X listeners and a few lucky competition winners.

Kasabian fans have waited months for general admission tickets for their 2022 tour, and they finally came out this morning at 9.30am.

Ahead of their album The Alchemist’s Euphoria, which will be released in August, the Leicester band are touring major venues across the UK from June.

Kasabian have had an extremely busy year, following their two albums in March, Full Throttle Take A Seat: Rap Rock Fusion and The Sacrament Of Rock .

Wednesday and Thursday this week saw presales for those who pre-ordered the new album, as well as those with Three mobile.

Kicking off the tour, Kasabian are set to headline 2022’s Isle of Wight festival alongside Lewis Capaldi, Lionel Richie and Muse, after 2021’s festival was postponed due to the pandemic.

The festival, on Friday 17 June, will also feature Blossoms, Shaggy, Sigrid, Craig David, The Vaccines and Nile Rodgers & Chic.

How to buy Kasabian tickets in the UK

Tickets have just been made available on the Ticketmaster website . Fans are advised to get in there fast - tickets are currently available for every date, but a number of shows are already at low and limited availability.

Those wanting tickets for the Isle of Wight festival can also purchase them on Ticketmaster , with the options of Saturday or full weekend tickets, as well as the choice of a payment plan.

How much do tickets cost?

Full price tickets for the full Isle of Wight festival weekend sit at £208.20, but there are teen, student, and islander discounts. Saturday-only tickets come in at £80.50 each.

For the rest of the UK tour, tickets vary by venue, ranging from £40.5 to £55.85.

There are also bundles available for Kasabian’s Manchester show - “The Alchemist’s Euphoria” CD bundle comes in at £59.75 with a standing ticket included.

Kasabian will kick off the tour at the much-anticipated Isle of Wight festival, before touring six more major venues across the UK.

Glastonbury festival 2024: Who are the rumoured secret acts?

Glastonbury  organisers have announced the full 2024 line-up for the annual extravaganza later this month.

The 2024 headliners have already been announced  for the world’s largest greenfield music and performing arts  festival  – and centrepiece of the UK festival scene every summer.

This year’s event takes place between Wednesday June 26 and Sunday June 30 at  Worthy Farm  in Pilton, Somerset.

Some of the newly announced acts include Squeeze, who will get the festival off to a flying start at noon on Friday June 28 on the  Pyramid stage .

Other new names are Femi Kuti, Seasick Steve, Jamie Webster, the Staves, the Skatalites, Jalen Ngonda, the  Vaccines ,  Johnny Flynn , Soft Play, Rachel Chinouriri and the Zutons.

On Friday Due Lipas is the headline act on the Pyramid Stage, with performances earlier in the evening from PJ Harvey and LCD Soundsystem.

On Saturday Coldplay are the headline act while on Sunday SZA will close the show.

Disclosure, The Streets, Shania Twain and Bombay Bicycle Club will also be performing over the course of the weekend.

But, every year, Worthy Farm pulls performances out of the bag with secret acts that had not previously been released – and 2024 will not be any different.

There are still acts to be announced on the official line up. One of these is on Wednesday June 26 on the Greenpeace Stage at 12pm and is one of the first sets of the festival. The others are:

• Friday June 28: Wishing Well 8.45pm (also the Transgressive Takeover at 11pm at the same location is still TBA)
• Friday June 28: Firmly Rooted, 1am
• Saturday June 29: BBC Introducing Stage, 4.30pm
• Saturday June 29: Woodies Stage, 6pm
• Saturday June 29: Levels, midnight
• Sunday June 30: BBC Introducing Stage, 7.30pm
• Sunday June 30: Wishing Well, 9pm

So who could we expect to be a secret acts. We look at all the rumours below.

According to NME , William Hill bookmakers have suspended betting on the band "after seeing some telling bets". Glastonbury kicks off a week before the release of their new album, Happenings. Coincidence?

The Killers

The band famous for Mr Brightside are next on the list as favourites to fill one of those TBA slots. Brandon Flowers and his crew are touring their new greatest hits collection, Rebel Diamonds, in the UK this June – they play Glasgow's Ovo Hydro on Wednesday June 26 and their next show is at the O2 in London on Thursday July 4, but they have nothing in the diary for Glastonbury weekend.

Kings of Leon

Sex on Fire favourites Kings of Leon have made the rumour list based on their diary. The band are playing on Sunday June 30 over Glastonbury weekend in their British Summer Time show in Hyde Park, so in theory they could squeeze in a Worthy Farm appearance over the long weekend.

This is one of the more unlikely rumours but they have still made the list. The band released their Saviors album at the beginning of the year, which meant they were tipped to be a secret act at Glastonbury; however, they are slated to play at the Isle of Wight Festival later this month which has been dubbed as a "festival exclusive".

Liam Gallagher

The former Oasis frontman has been performing in the capital this week and will continues his UK dates in June at which he'll be playing the whole of Oasis’s debut album, Definitely Maybe, to mark the record's 30th anniversary.

This led to fans believing he was destined to perform at Worthy Farm but the man himself has denied that he's playing the festival on social media site X, when asked by a fan.

Vampire Weekend

William Hill are currently offering 8/1 odds  on Ezra Koenig and bandmates to appear at Glastonbury.

The idea seems unlikely given they are midway through a US tour this summer in support of their album Only God Was Above Us. But their last gig before the Worthy weekend is in Bonner, Montana on June 23 with their next one, at Red Rocks in Colorado on July 19, leaving enough time for them to jet to and from the UK to perform.

This rumour is not that far fetched given where the former bandmates will be over the weekend. Jamie xx is headlining Woodies on Friday night while Romy is playing a DJ set on Friday at the Levels area. Could a reunion be on the cards?

Weezer are performing in the UK with the Smashing Pumpkins across June. Their final show will be at Cardiff Castle on June 14 before they jet off to North America in September.

Glastonbury 2024: Here are the bookies’ odds on who’ll play a secret set – with betting suspended on huge act

Fans were quick to speculate that one act in particular would be filling the TBA slot at Woodsies

The bookies’ odds have been shared for who may be playing a secret set at Glastonbury 2024 – and bets have been suspended on one huge artist already.

The legendary Worthy Farm festival will be taking place between June 26 and 30 this year, and will see headline sets from Dua Lipa , Coldplay and SZA , as well as Shania Twain , LCD Soundsystem , Little Simz ,  The National and others.

The initial wave of acts were confirmed back in March , and since then the organisers have been drip-feeding separate posters for the festival’s many areas and stages – including Left Field , Woodsies , The Glade , the Acoustic Stage , Silver Hayes , The Park , Block9 and The Common .

Yesterday (June 4), the festival shared the complete schedule details for 2024 , and confirmed numerous new acts in the process. These included Tems , James , Jamie Webster , The Staves , The Zutons , Soft Play (fka Slaves), Rachel Chinouriri , Femi Kuti , Seasick Steve , Squeeze , Johnny Flynn and many more.

That being said, fans were quick to spot some gaps in the schedule, where a number of secret sets will be taking place . One particularly significant gap was spotted on the Woodsies Stage at 6pm on Saturday. Immediately, a wide consensus was shared that the gap would be filled by Kasabian – who are currently gearing up to release their new album ‘Happenings’.

Other names thrown about for the slot included Kings Of Leon , The Smile and Troye Sivan .

Now, following much speculation online, William Hill has shared the bookies’ odds for the Woodsies secret slot, and confirmed that bets on Kasabian filling the gap have been suspended.

This, William Hill said, was because of the sheer number of people taking the bet within just hours of the festival announcement. “We only opened our market on acts that could play secret sets at Glastonbury yesterday, but after seeing some telling bets on Kasabian to make an appearance, we’ve been forced to suspend betting on them,” said spokesperson Lee Phelps. “Plenty of people seem to be in the know that Serge Pizzorno ’s band will be appearing at Glasto and have taken the initial 3/1 we offered.

Others listed as potentially filling the slot include Britpop icons Pulp – who were also rumoured as appearing last year – as well as Kings Of Leon and The Killers . Find the full list of odds below.

Other unfilled slots are also seen on the Glasto schedule, including one at Levels at midnight on Saturday, and three slots in Nowhere. There are also two vacant slots on the BBC Introducing at 4:30pm on Saturday and 7:30pm on Sunday.

Last year’s edition of Glastonbury had a notable appearance from Foo Fighters , who played a surprise set on the Pyramid Stage under the moniker of The Churnups.

“You guys fuckin’ knew it was us this whole time, you knew it was us, right?” Grohl joked about the much-talked-about mystery slot, before performing ‘My Hero’. “We’re not good at secrets.”

The year before, Jack White performed an impromptu set on The Park Stage, which is also historically known for hosting secret sets. Before that, the likes of Pulp , Foals and Radiohead ’s Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood had made surprise appearances there.
