How far in advance do I need to schedule my visit?
Because we customize each visit, we ask that you contact us 5 to 7 business days before you’d like to come. This gives our campus visit coordinator time to arrange any appointments and ensure that a tour guide is available.
What happens if I need to cancel my visit?
Please e-mail [email protected] or call the admissions office at (800) 522-1887, ext. 230.
May I bring a friend?
Yes! Many students like to schedule their visits with a friend. Please let us know in advance and have your friend’s contact information available when making the appointment.
Are parents included?
Yes! Parents often take the campus tour, go to lunch and participate in the admissions and financial aid appointments. If you are visiting overnight, we can recommend several nearby hotels for your parents and they can join you on campus the following day.
If I decide to spend the night, where will I sleep?
Bethel College has a select group of student ambassadors who host prospective students overnight. They have private rooms in the residence halls with an extra bed for you.
May I stay with my friend who is a current student?
We like you to stay with one of our student ambassadors because their rooms are equipped with an extra bed, and we know how to reach them in case of a scheduling change. However, if you would prefer to stay with another student, please let us know when you’re coming, and we’ll schedule the other components of a day visit while you’re here.
Do I need to bring money for meals?
No! Admissions will provide you with meals in our campus dining facilities while you are on campus.
Have more questions? E-mail [email protected] or call our office at (800) 522-1887 ext. 230 or (316) 284-5230. We look forward to hearing from you!

Virtual College Tours: Exploring Campus From Home
Whether you’re just beginning your college search or you’re already working on your college applications, the pandemic has changed how most schools are doing campus visits. In addition to taking extra precautions on campus tours, some colleges have created a virtual campus tour option .
A virtual campus tour gives you a peek into life on a college campus, without requiring you to step foot on campus. It acts as a substitute for those who are unable to come to campus in person for whatever reason.
How does a virtual college tour work?
Virtual college tours bring the campus visit to you through your smartphone or computer. You may need to register first, but for most colleges virtual tours are completely free. The virtual experience is designed to showcase the entire campus, including on-campus dining, amenities, residence halls, and classrooms.
Why are virtual college tours useful?
Virtual college tours help you to picture yourself on campus in a way that scrolling webpages doesn’t. This can be helpful in deciding whether or not a college could be a good fit for you. Especially during the pandemic, a virtual experience can be a good temporary substitute when you can’t make it to campus.
What makes Bethel University’s virtual college tour unique?
Bethel’s Virtual Campus Experience gives you a little bit of everything and acts as a launching pad to help you explore a variety of areas across the university. You’ll be able to hear from current students and admissions staff, take a video tour of campus, explore residence halls, watch online lecture recordings, and learn more about what it’s like to be a Bethel student. You can also watch a recording of a Chapel service to see how we integrate our faith with the college experience. If you’re interested in a more personalized experience, you can schedule a virtual meeting with a Bethel admissions counselor.
We hope this helps if you are trying to plan an upcoming visit, but are unable to come in-person. Virtual campus tours are an excellent option if you need to explore your colleges from home.
Register now and start your Virtual Campus Experience at Bethel! Or, if you’d prefer to come in person, individual on-campus visits are still an option. We’ve just made a few adjustments to keep you and our community safe. Schedule your i ndividual campus visit today.

Film follows harrowing journey of a migrant caravan
The final film of the 2023-24 KIPCOR Film Series focuses on a social issue at the center of current discussion and controversy.
Estamos Unidos , a film by Alvaro M. Morales, tells the story of a migrant caravan’s journey from San Pedro Sula, Honduras, to Mexico City in early 2019.
Their odyssey began amidst interventions from the governments of Honduras, Mexico and the United States that aimed to halt the normalization of caravans as a new immigration route.
The screening is Sunday, April 7, at 2 p.m. in Krehbiel Auditorium in Luyken Fine Arts Center. The talkback following the film will feature the filmmaker himself, via Zoom.
Alvaro “Alva” Morales is a social entrepreneur who works at the intersection of technology, storytelling and activism.
He directs and produces projects in virtual reality, augmented reality and traditional documentary formats. His projects have received support from National Geographic, Meta, the Tribeca Film Institute and Open Society Foundations, among others.
Rooted in his experience as a formerly undocumented American, Morales’s work focuses exclusively on advancing public discourse around immigration justice.
He is currently in the final year of a joint MBA-MPP program at Yale University, where he is exploring how to best position his career for social impact.
Morales says of his film, “The caravans were turning upside down the traditional migrant passage through Mexico. They were taking a journey that typically occurs in the shadows, and … making it as visible as possible for safety and political leverage.
“With this in mind, I saw an important role filmmakers and allies had to play in the caravan movement.”
Estamos Unidos illustrates the stakes and human toll of migrating to the United States, as well as the courage of those seeking opportunity and refuge.
With a U.S. presidential election looming, the film provides an important look at the immigrants whom politicians employ as scapegoats for their anti-immigrant rhetoric.
KIPCOR, the Kansas Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution at Bethel College, sponsors the film series each school year. It is free and open to the public, with a freewill offering taken to support KIPCOR and the series.

Moscow City Center, Kremlin
The treasury of our Moscow panoramas is gradually increasing.
We have already been shooting aerial panoramas for 6 years. During this period of time we shot many interesting cities of the world: New York, Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur, Sidney, Miami, Las Vegas, Rio de Janeiro, Dubai, Los Angeles and many others. However, we didn't succeed in shooting Moscow, the city we live in, though we did our best. The case is the flights over Moscow are forbidden except those of Russian Federation Ministry of Civil Defense and Emergency Response and Russian police. Taking in consideration these administrative restrictions we applied our creativity and resolved this problem by the following:
1) We made a virtual tour over Moscow Encircling Highway : MEH and Interchanges
2) Yauza, Ramenki, Southern Port
3) In May 2010 near the Crocus-City the first in the world 1 gig pixel panorama was shot from the helicopter. It shows the Kremlin, the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, Novodevichiy Convent, the TV Tower of Ostankino and many other places of interest.
4) This sphere shot from the height of 1000 m which shows most part of Moscow and regions.
5) Last spring we have shot the panorama of Novodevichiy Convent
6) We have done a virtual tour over Moscow State University
7) Earlier this year we have done a fabulous panoramas of Moscow City business center
8) One of Moscow City panoramas has been converted into stereo format
9) We have created a giga pixel panorama of the center of Moscow
Also it is worth to view one of the photos by Sergey Semenov devoted to the rehearsal of the Victory Parade of May 9.
It had success on the exhibition World Seen by the Russians held in Moscow, on Tverskoy Boulevard in May-June 2011.
And now we would like to introduce a virtual tour around Moscow Kremlin.

Moscow city 360-degree virtual reality tour.
Take the virtual tour of the kremlin, moscow river, saint basil’s cathedral and red square.
The Moscow Kremlin usually referred to as the Kremlin, is a fortified complex at the heart of Moscow, overlooking the Moskva River to the south, Saint Basil’s Cathedral and Red Square to the east, and the Alexander Garden to the west.
It is the best known of the Kremlins (Russian citadels) and includes five palaces, four cathedrals, and the enclosing Kremlin Wall with Kremlin towers. Also within this complex is the Grand Kremlin Palace. The complex serves as the official residence of the President of the Russian Federation.
The name “Kremlin” means “fortress inside a city”, and is often also used metonymically to refer to the government of the Russian Federation in a similar sense to how “White House” is used to refer to the Executive Office of the President of the United States. It had previously been used to refer to the government of the Soviet Union (1922–1991) and its highest members (such as general secretaries, premiers, presidents, ministers, and commissars). The term “Kremlinology” refers to the study of Soviet and Russian politics.
All of Moscow’s main streets start at Red Square , so it’s easy to see why this is considered the heart of the city. A massive space of 330 meters by 70 meters, the square is flanked by the Kremlin, Lenin’s Mausoleum, two cathedrals, and the State Historical Museum. In 1945, a massive Victory Parade was held here to celebrate the defeat of Nazi Germany by the Soviet Armed Forces.
St. Basil’s Cathedral , one of the most recognizable buildings on the square, was built in 1555. The unique cathedral has architectural details inspired by Byzantine and Asian designs, as well as details that resemble those found in famous mosques. There are nine individual chapels inside the church, all decorated with colourful mural art.
Yuri Gagarin Is the First Man in Space. Yuri Alekseyevich Gagarin was a Soviet pilot and cosmonaut. He was the first human to journey into outer space, when his Vostok spacecraft completed an orbit of the Earth on 12 April 1961

U of I Locations: Moscow (Main Campus)
From the moment you step on campus, you’ll understand why the University of Idaho has been named the most beautiful college in the state . Iconic buildings are connected by tree-filled green spaces, walkable paths and welcoming plazas. Don’t be surprised if you’re greeted with a friendly smile and wave from a peer or professor, especially on the historic Hello Walk.
Our community extends way beyond campus. Moscow is a tight-knit town of about 25,000 people, full of vibrant activities, businesses and events that love to welcome college students. You’ll find incredible opportunities for recreation and exploration in the surrounding area, too.
Want to see it all for yourself? Plan your campus visit today .
Life on Campus
Whether you live in the residence halls , a fraternity or sorority or off-campus, you’ll be minutes away from your classes and places to study and play.
There’s always something to do: grab a snack in the Idaho Student Union Building , check out a book from the U of I Library 's more than 2 million holdings, take in the beauty of nature in the Arboretum and Botanical Garden , watch a play in the Hartung Theater or a game in the ICCU Arena , take a fitness class in the Student Recreation Center , catch a Vandal Entertainment -sponsored concert and so much more.
A True College Town
Venture only a few minutes off campus and you’ll be in downtown Moscow. It’s no wonder Seattle Magazine called it “a college town with a soul that shines through year-round” — the calendar is packed with festivals, cultural events and community gatherings like our award-winning farmers’ market on Main Street.
No matter what you like to do, you’ll find an activity to fall in love with . Experience a local art museum or theater production, dance to a live band at a street fair or a local coffee shop, dress in period garb for the Moscow Renaissance Fair or enter a local 5K run or bike race. Volunteer opportunities abound with local nonprofits that support the arts, sustainability, youth and children, the LGBTQ community, health care and more.
And did we mention food? You’ll find a huge co-op with natural and organic options, cozy pubs and coffee shops with Pacific Northwest vibes, locally owned restaurants with cuisines from around the world, and funky hole-in-the-wall spots for affordable college-town snacks.
A Hub For Outdoor Adventure
Moscow sits at the heart of the Palouse, a one-of-a-kind landscape of rolling hills and scenic vistas. We’re surrounded by mountains, lakes and rivers full of opportunities for adventure , whether you love hiking, biking, camping, fishing or just taking in a gorgeous sunset. You’ll experience all four seasons in North Idaho, too — so bring your sunscreen for a late-summer rafting trip and your parka for skiing, snowboarding or ice skating in the winter.
