2017 Swift Dzire Tour is based on the entry LXi (o) variant of second generation Dzire sedan; gets powered by either 1.2L K-series petrol or 1.3L DDiS diesel

Maruti Suzuki has the subcompact sedan segment ruled by its Swift Dzire ever since it entered the Indian market. The second generation of the sedan was launched in 2012 and it was a thorough departure from the original Dzire. Based on the third-gen Swift compact hatchback, it measured less than four metres in length and shared engines with its popular sibling.

With changes to the suspension and introduction of dual-tone beige and black interiors in contrast with the Swift’s all-black theme, it stamped its authority with a very aggressive price range. It gave way for a new version in February 2015 with more refinement version and was rated as the most fuel efficient diesel car in the country.

Later, a four-speed automatic in petrol and five-speed AGS automatic in diesel entered the scenes. The Swift Dzire’s overall monthly sales figure is not just decided by the existing model though as the first generation version has for years being used as the Tour model addressing the needs of fleet and taxi operators.

We exclusively reported that the production of the original model being so far badged as Dzire Tour had finally come to an end after nine years and it would be replaced by the second generation Dzire. Due to the bigger proportions over the standard model, the Dzire Tour has been a big hit compared the taxi versions of its rivals like the Tata Zest and Hyundai Xcent.

The new version, which we spotted inside and out a few days ago has finally been launched in India. It will offer the occupants better comfort comparing the last two generations of the standard Dzire.

The Indo-Japanese automaker reduces the luggage capacity at the back as more than 120 litres of bootspace has been shaved off in the new Dzire Tour 2017 due to its sub-four metre length. Standing in line with the next-gen Dzire, the “Swift” name has been dropped on the Tour model.

The 2017 Maruti Dzire Tour has been priced at Rs. 5.25 lakh for petrol and Rs. 5.99 lakh for the diesel version (ex-showroom, New Delhi). Maruti Suzuki seems to be availing plenty of discounts on both the variants of the new Dzire for increased number of sales.

2017 Maruti Dzire Tour Engine and Specifications

The outgoing Dzire was sold with the proven and fuel-efficient 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine that makes 75 bhp of maximum power at 4,000 rpm and 190 Nm of peak torque at 2,000 rpm. Sending power to the front wheels is though a five-speed manual gearbox.

Maruti Suzuki Dzire Exterior Design

dzire 2017 exterior

If we compare the Maruti Suzuki Dzire with its predecessor, it looks totally new and you will find hardly anything taken from the previous generation models. Like its revised name, the updated design gives a whole new identity to the car, which is now a true reflection of urbanity. The immaculate proportions of the sedan look elegant and are complemented by beautiful chrome highlights at the front and the rear. The new Dzire no more seems like a derivative of its hatchback sibling as the designs look more focused on sedan category, however, it will also be shared with the 2018 Maruti Swift hatchback model .

The front of the Dzire looks impressive with the new grill that gets chrome boundary and the fog lamps also receive chrome fins. LED Projector lamps with signature daytime running lights make it a bit aggressive from the front and make it distinguishable on the road. The neat and clean side profile shows off a rounded design theme that flows till the well-integrated boot, unlike the previous generation where a boot was just attached to the back. The 15-inch precision cut two-tone alloy wheels perfectly suits the overall design and comes as a nice highlight to the package. My need for speed began at a very early age and I realised this as soon as I got my first bicycle at the age of 8. When all the other kids would break downhill I would pedal harder just to go faster and enjoy the thrill. Adding to my interest for speed, I grew engrossed in the working mechanics of two wheelers thanks to my father as he is a hydraulic mechanic and would take me along with him on his repair sessions. Eventually I became familiar with the tools and basic technical concepts of two wheelers.Super sport and sport tourers are more of my liking and the sparks to these flames were ignited the first time I experienced the maddening power of a Yamaha YZF R1. I was just 14 years old at the time and got to ride as a pillion with an older acquaintance. This one short ride influenced my every decision in terms of the bikes I want to own. As of today I’m 26 years old and a proud owner of a Yamaha Fz15 version 2.0 and a Kawasaki Ninja 650 2014 model having clocked a decent 30k Kms only while touring, waiting to clock 1000s more as riding makes me feel whole again after enduring the dismal routines of life. Engine & Transmission

Timely services will keep a motor efficient and in top shape.

The official title given by the manufacturer in terms of the name of the engine, the displacement and the number of cylinders.

A bigger displacement and more than four-cylinders generally indicate a performance-oriented engine.

All cars in India either run on petrol, diesel, CNG, LPG or electric power.

Gives a good idea of the performance of the vehicle under full thrust. A higher figure here usually means a higher top speed as well.

Higher the power, the peppier the engine but it can also affect fuel economy.

Relates to in-gear acceleration. A higher figure here means better roll-on acceleration, fewer gear shifts, and possibly better fuel efficiency.

The more torque at low RPM range makes the engine feel more responsive. It also allows the engine to run smoothly without too many gear changes.

This is the maximum fuel efficiency that an engine gives. All numbers are provided by the manufacturer based on tests conducted and specified by the standards of the ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India)

Such fuel efficiency attained while driving in special conditions makes it unlikely to get it in real-world conditions

Cars come with different drivetrain configurations depending on the segment.

Front-wheel drive (FWD) is most common in mainstream cars while expensive cars or SUVs come with rear-wheel drive (RWD) or all-wheel drive (AWD).

Type of transmission used to transfer power from the engine to the wheels

A manually operated transmission is the most popular type, thanks to its simplicity and low cost. Varied types of automatic transmissions are also available.

Set by the Indian Government, this governs the amount of air pollutants released by cars to make the atmosphere safer for humans.

Manufacturers today offer turbochargers to boost engine power without affecting its fuel economy. Superchargers are found in more expensive cars but on the downside, they are not very efficient.

Turbochargers are more effective but require plenty of heat management. Superchargers, meanwhile, offer linear bump in power but they are comparatively more complex.

Dimensions & Weight

The length of the car decides its segment. In India, cars that are less than 4 metres in length enjoy reduced excise duties.

  • Length: 3995

Longer length results in more cabin space. It also adds to straight line stability.

A car's width is defined as its widest point without its mirrors.

  • Width: 1735

Although more width gives you more lateral space inside the cabin, it makes the car more difficult to park in narrow spots.

The height of the car denotes the highest point of the vehicle from the ground.

  • Height: 1515

Taller the car, the more headroom there is on offer inside the cabin. However, a tall boy stance also affect the car’s centre of gravity which can cause more body roll.

The space between the center of the front and rear wheels.

  • Wheelbase: 2450

The longer the wheelbase, the more space there is inside the cabin.

It’s the space between the lowest point of the car and the ground.

  • Ground Clearance: 163

If the car has a good amount of clearance, it’s easier for it to clear big speed breakers and overall, deal with bad roads.

The total weight of the vehicle with all the standard equipment and all the required fluids.

A lightweight car will always be more efficient and easier to manoeuvre whereas a heavy car would give you a sense of solidity while driving.

The number of doors define the category of car. For example – four door means sedan, two-door means coupe while five-doors usually refer to a hatchback, MPV or an SUV.

The number of people that can be seated comfortably in the car, which has also been mandated by the car manufacturer.

  • Seating Capacity: 5

Smaller cars usually have two rows which can seat five, but some SUVs and MPVs have three rows and can seat around 7-8 passengers.

Boot space defines how practical the car is with respect to how much luggage it can carry.

  • Bootspace: 378

A boot with a large and wide opening is ideal for loading heavy items. Additionally, a lower loading height also makes it easy to put in luggage.

The official volume of the fuel tank of a car, usually denoted in litres.

If a car has a large fuel tank, it can cover long distances without refuelling.

Suspensions, Brakes, Steering & Tyres

Almost all cars in India use an independent front suspension which is usually the MacPherson Strut type.

The rear suspension can either be non-independent or independent.

Most of the budget cars have non-independent suspension while the more expensive ones get independent rear suspension which offers better bump absorption.

Most of the vehicles sold in India get ventilated or non-ventilated disc brakes upfront.

- The ventilated discs are more popular thanks to them providing better stopping power and it also works well in hot conditions.

In affordable cars, drums brakes are fitted at the rear as they are cost effective.

Disc setup at the rear is now getting more popular as cars are getting faster in the real world.

The official kerb-to-kerb minimum radius a car takes to complete a 180-degree turn.

Shorter the turning radius, the lesser space you need to make a tight turn or to take a U-turn.

Almost all steering systems in cars today have an assist to help park them better at low speeds - these can be hydraulic, electro-hydraulic or electric.

The wheels used on cars are either steel rims with plastic wheel cover hub or alloy wheels on higher spec models or expensive cars.

Razor cut, or diamond cut alloy wheel design are not getting more popular. Manufacturers usually offer these in top-end trim of their car models.

Important in a country with varying quality of roads, spare wheels ensure one doesn’t get stranded when one of the main tyres gets damaged.

Select premium car models feature space savers (smaller than the stock wheels) to save on boot space.

The profile/dimension of rubber tyre that fits on the front wheels.

The profile/dimension of rubber tyre that fits on the rear wheels.

A digital gauge that provides the live status of the air pressure in every tyre of a car.

For accurate readings, ensure that the sensors on the rim are not tampered with during any wheel/tyre repairs

Anchor points or strap systems built into car seats to keep child seats in place, especially during a crash

ISOFIX is an international standard for child seat anchor points, but not all car manufacturers follow this standard

Mandatory fitment in cars sold in India, emits loud beeps when it detects that occupants are not wearing their seatbelts.

Seat belt warning is mandatory for front-seat occupants, but it is recommended that all occupants wear seat belts.

Maruti Swift Dzire [2015-2017] Key Specifications

About maruti swift dzire [2015-2017].

The DZire is a highly successful model for Maruti Suzuki and maybe the most successful sedan ever for the company. The first-generation DZire was launched in 2008 and an all-new generation was launched in 2012. The new-generation DZire is a compact sedan and recently it got a facelift treatment. The new DZire is a Swift with additional boot and same wheelbase.

The DZire now got a cosmetic upgrade with the titivated version. There is a new front grille, new headlamps, revised front bumper, rear bumper, tail gate, alloy wheels and even tail lamps. The engine options on the DZire have increased now and even the engines are tweaked for better performance and even better fuel efficiency. The diesel engine produces 74bhp, 190Nm and it now even has an option of an automated manual transmissions as well. The petrol variant produces 83bhp and 115Nm and comes with manual and automatic options.

Further to this, read Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire Road Test details by our expert.

The Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire is one of the best-selling compact sedans and the recently given facelift makes it look stylish and more premium. The Swift DZire now has a thick chrome grille that makes it stand out and smoked-out headlamps too. The front bumper has also been re-designed. The side profile remains the same, except for the new design of the alloy wheels. The Z variant has alloy wheels and 15-inch wheels, while the other variants have steel wheels and 14-inch wheels. The rear also has changes at the rear, for instance the new chrome strip that runs across.

The interiors of the Maruti DZire are one of the best in its segment. It isn’t very jazzy, it is a neat flowing centre console with black and beige dual tone that makes it look premium. The integrated music system has USB and aux connection and now it even gets bluetooth connectivity. The steering mounted audio controls now even have telephone answering and rejecting buttons added as well. There is now even keyless entry and push start and stop button. The DZire is now a lot more feature loaded than before.

The DZire has beige-coloured fabric seats and can seat five people. The boot at about 300 litres isn’t the largest but is good enough.

Engine Transmission

Just like the Swift, even the DZire has the same two engines available on offer. The 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine that produces a maximum of 83bhp of power and 115Nm of peak torque. This comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission and an option of four-speed automatic transmission will also be on offer. The second engine is the 1.3-litre diesel engine that churns about 75bhp of power and 190Nm of maximum torque. This also comes with a five-speed manual transmission and now even an AMT (automated manual transmission) is also on offer. These are the same engines that are also offered on the Swift.

Performance and Handling

The engines on offer, the petrol and diesel have good performance and mileage. These are well balanced engines. The ride quality of the Swift DZire is good and even the handling is just fine. The suspension set-up on the DZire is more for comfort while that on the Swift is a bit more sporty.

Braking System

The brakes on the Swift DZire are disc at the front, while the rear continues to have drum brakes. There is ABS with EBD on offer for higher variants.

The 1248 cc Diesel - powered variant delivers a fuel economy of 24 kmpl in city and 26 kmpl on highways, while the Petrol variant offers a mileage of 18 kmpl on urban roads and 20 kmpl on freeways, respectively.

Safety Features

The DZire is now offered with dual airbags as an optional feature across all the variants. This shows how Maruti Suzuki is working towards enhancing safety. The other safety features on the DZire are seatbelts, ABS, engine immobiliser, halogen headlamps, side impact beams and central locking.

The DZire is certainly a class leading product in its segment and also the best seller. Maruti knows what the customer needs and they have nailed it to perfection despite several shortcomings in the compact sedan.

Competition

The Maruti DZire is a direct competition to the Tata Zest, Honda Amaze, Ford Figo Aspire and the Hyundai XCent. The DZire is certainly the best seller and has the best resale value too.

Cheating on the name of Security Features

02/24/2016 11:23:19 | Raj Sharma

Nothing, very poor response from Company

Company response has to No. One like No. Automobile Company of Inda

I am having Swift Dzire Top Model with all the safety features; a month ago I met a fatal accident on national highway. my vehicle roll four to five time on road and jumped on road side, I was wearing seat belt then I nearly survived, my all the safety features like air bag, abs it didn't worked. When I call to company people their very surprising reply I received that the accident was not happened in that conditions where these feature works. All though they trying to convince me through their service manual. In service manual also mentioned that these features has to be work, in which condition my accident happened. Most disappointing that I wrote a mail to company on very next day of the accident, till date company is not bother to response me. This is worst response from a largest automobile company. Fake information, poor safety feature and very poor response. So please before buy a Maruti vehicle think a lot about safety and security. And be ready to receive a very pathetic response from Nations No. Car Company. Customer

Excellent Ride Quality

10/22/2015 22:58:16 | Sunil Baisla

I bought Dzire Ldi in March 2014. I chose Ldi over Vdi just to save the additional registration amount(above 6 lacs) I bought the Ldi-x package from Maruti for Rs. 48,000 where in they offered all the features which Vdi has. Have driven it 25k in one and a half year, the car is absolutely smooth, very nice pick-up, low engine sound, and very nice mileage. Have taken it to almost all cities around Delhi like- Dehradun/Mussorie, Jaipur, Agra, Nainital/Ranikhet, Chandigarh/Mohali the driving experience is so pleasing, tireless that now m planning it to take it to a very farther place like Udaipur or Bhopal or Varanasi. It delivers a mileage of 19KMPL in city conditions and 21 on highway, if speed is restricted to 60KMPH to 80KMPH it may deliver more than 23KMPL also.

Honestly, with given price and looking at other cars in this segment it is no doubt the best choice. But yes safety features like ABS/EBD and airbags should be given as standard.

2015 Swift Dzire Automatic

08/31/2015 10:35:43 | Thomas Wilson

+ Excellent upshift when power is required + Silent cabin + Reasonable mileage. The car averages about 18+ on highway conditions. The city is hard to calibrate - as traffic situations vary too much. I would assume 7 to 8kmpl at under 5 kmph, 10 kmpl at 30 to 30 kmph,

- The color of the upholstery can be a few shades darker. - Media console could have included bluetooth

Shift quality is good - as the engine is well matched to the gear box. Upshifts are pleasantly - almost immediate - surprisingly without the rubber-band effect. I also own the Astar automatic where i felt that the engine was mildly under powered to match the gear box (but that is a different car with different characteristics and utility). The shifts are also jerk free and seamless.

CHEATING BY FAULTY DESIGN

06/19/2015 14:26:01 | Gyan Dev Dobriyal

My name is Gyan Dev having Swift Dzire Vxi registration no DL9CAG 8857. Purchased date Nov 2012. Current mileage 20 000 KM. RECOMMENDATION: Pls do not purchase New Dzire as having technical issues in manufacturing. Maruti has cheated us as follows: 1. This is low rpm car having rpm less than 800 just 642 RPM creating huge issues like rpm fluctuation on switching on head light, vibration, less comfortable drive after 10, 000 KM. This has been done just to get subsidy from Govt in taxes(Govt gives rebate in cars having rpm less than 700). 2. Low boot space-To get subsidy from Govt in taxes Maruti reduced car length but not passing on differential amount to consumer. Its a type of corruption. 3. My car is having vibration, rpm fluctuation, low pickup, low mileage right from first service but no concrete solution. 4. This problem is being faced by all dzire vxi costumer after 3rd service as after switching on head light rpm drops and ecm does not anticipate the same and car starts performing poor day by day. 5. Requesting all new dzire vxi costumer to fight for this in consumer forum for faulty design.. I HAVE BEEN FIGHTING FROM LAST ONE YEAR BUT NO CONCRETE REPLY. Gyan Dev 9811069593 9811069591

Most Beautiful Metro Stations in Moscow

Most Beautiful Metro Stations in Moscow

Visiting Moscow? Get yourself a metro card and explore Moscow’s beautiful metro stations. Moscow’s world-famous metro system is efficient and a great way to get from A to B. But there is more to it; Soviet mosaic decorations, exuberant halls with chandeliers, colourful paintings and immense statues. Moscow’s metro is an attraction itself, so take half a day and dive into Moscow’s underground!

The best thing to do is to get on the brown circle (number 5) line since the most beautiful metro stations are situated on this line. The only exception is the metro stop Mayakovskaya one the green line (number 2). My suggestion is to get a map, mark these metro stops on there and hop on the metro. It helps to get an English > Russian map to better understand the names of the stops. At some of the metro stops, the microphone voice speaks Russian and English so it’s not difficult at all.

Another thing we found out, is that it’s worth taking the escalator and explore the other corridors to discover how beautiful the full station is.

Quick hotel suggestion for Moscow is the amazing Brick Design Hotel .

These are my favourite metro stations in Moscow, in order of my personal preference:

1. Mayakovskaya Station

The metro station of Mayakovskaya looks like a ballroom! Wide arches, huge domes with lamps and mosaic works make your exit of the metro overwhelming. Look up and you will see the many colourful mosaics with typical Soviet pictures. Mayakovskaya is my personal favourite and is the only stop not on the brown line but on the green line.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

2. Komsomolskaya Station

Komsomolskaya metro station is famous for its yellow ceiling. An average museum is nothing compared to this stop. Splendour all over the place, black and gold, mosaic – again – and enormous chandeliers that made my lamp at home look like a toy.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

3. Novoslobodskaya Station

The pillars in the main hall of Novoslobodskaya metro station have the most colourful stained glass decorations. The golden arches and the golden mosaic with a naked lady holding a baby in front of the Soviet hammer and sickle, make the drama complete.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

4. Prospect Mira Station

The beautiful chandeliers and the lines in the ceiling, make Prospekt Mira an architectural masterpiece.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

5. Belorusskaya Station

Prestigious arches, octagonal shapes of Socialistic Soviet Republic mosaics. The eyecatcher of Belorusskaya metro station, however, is the enormous statue of three men with long coats, holding guns and a flag.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

6. Kiyevskaya Station

The metro station of Kiyevskaya is a bit more romantic than Belorusskaya and Prospect Mira. Beautiful paintings with classical decorations.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

7. Taganskaya Station

At the main hall Taganskaya metro station you will find triangle light blue and white decorations that are an ode to various Russians that – I assume – are important for Russian history and victory. There is no need to explore others halls of Taganskaya, this is it.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

8. Paveletskaya Station

Another and most definitely the less beautiful outrageous huge golden mosaic covers one of the walls of Paveletskaya. I would recommend taking the escalator to the exit upstairs to admire the turquoise dome and a painting of the St Basil’s Cathedral in a wooden frame.

It’s absolutely beautiful! Moscow is a great city trip destination and really surprised me in many ways.

My partner and I did a self guided Moscow Metro tour when we were there 2 years ago. So many breathtaking platforms…I highly recommend it! Most of my favorites were along the Brown 5 line, as well. I also loved Mayakovskaya, Arbatskaya, Aleksandrovski Sad and Ploshchad Revolyutsii. We’re heading back in a few weeks and plan to do Metro Tour-Part 2. We hope to see the #5 stations we missed before, as well as explore some of the Dark Blue #3 (Park Pobedy and Slavyansky Bul’var, for sure), Yellow #8 and Olive #10 platforms.

That’s exciting Julia! Curious to see your Metro Tour-Part 2 experience and the stations you discovered.

Moscow’s nightlife scene is thriving, and arguably one of the best the world has to offer – top-notch Russian women, coupled with a never-ending list of venues, Moscow has a little bit of something for everyone’s taste. Moscow nightlife is not for the faint of heart – and if you’re coming, you better be ready to go Friday and Saturday night into the early morning.

This comprehensive guide to Moscow nightlife will run you through the nuts and bolts of all you need to know about Moscow’s nightclubs and give you a solid blueprint to operate with during your time in Moscow.

What you need to know before hitting Moscow nightclubs

Prices in moscow nightlife.

Before you head out and start gaming all the sexy Moscow girls , we have to talk money first. Bring plenty because in Moscow you can never bring a big enough bankroll. Remember, you’re the man so making a fuzz of not paying a drink here or there will not go down well.

Luckily most Moscow clubs don’t do cover fees. Some electro clubs will charge 15-20$, depending on their lineup. There’s the odd club with a minimum spend of 20-30$, which you’ll drop on drinks easily. By and large, you can scope out the venues for free, which is a big plus.

Bottle service is a great deal in Moscow. At top-tier clubs, it starts at 1,000$. That’ll go a long way with premium vodka at 250$, especially if you have three or four guys chipping in. Not to mention that it’s a massive status boost for getting girls, especially at high-end clubs.

Without bottle service, you should estimate a budget of 100-150$ per night. That is if you drink a lot and hit the top clubs with the hottest girls. Scale down for less alcohol and more basic places.

Dress code & Face control

Door policy in Moscow is called “face control” and it’s always the guy behind the two gorillas that gives the green light if you’re in or out.

In Moscow nightlife there’s only one rule when it comes to dress codes:

You can never be underdressed.

People dress A LOT sharper than, say, in the US and that goes for both sexes. For high-end clubs, you definitely want to roll with a sharp blazer and a pocket square, not to mention dress shoes in tip-top condition. Those are the minimum requirements to level the playing field vis a vis with other sharply dressed guys that have a lot more money than you do. Unless you plan to hit explicit electro or underground clubs, which have their own dress code, you are always on the money with that style.

Getting in a Moscow club isn’t as hard as it seems: dress sharp, speak English at the door and look like you’re in the mood to spend all that money that you supposedly have (even if you don’t). That will open almost any door in Moscow’s nightlife for you.

Types of Moscow Nightclubs

In Moscow there are four types of clubs with the accompanying female clientele:

High-end clubs:

These are often crossovers between restaurants and clubs with lots of tables and very little space to dance. Heavy accent on bottle service most of the time but you can work the room from the bar as well. The hottest and most expensive girls in Moscow go there. Bring deep pockets and lots of self-confidence and you have a shot at swooping them.

Regular Mid-level clubs:

They probably resemble more what you’re used to in a nightclub: big dancefloors, stages and more space to roam around. Bottle service will make you stand out more but you can also do well without. You can find all types of girls but most will be in the 6-8 range. Your targets should always be the girls drinking and ideally in pairs. It’s impossible not to swoop if your game is at least half-decent.

Basic clubs/dive bars:

Usually spots with very cheap booze and lax face control. If you’re dressed too sharp and speak no Russian, you might attract the wrong type of attention so be vigilant. If you know the local scene you can swoop 6s and 7s almost at will. Usually students and girls from the suburbs.

Electro/underground clubs:

Home of the hipsters and creatives. Parties there don’t mean meeting girls and getting drunk but doing pills and spacing out to the music. Lots of attractive hipster girls if that is your niche. That is its own scene with a different dress code as well.

What time to go out in Moscow

Moscow nightlife starts late. Don’t show up at bars and preparty spots before 11pm because you’ll feel fairly alone. Peak time is between 1am and 3am. That is also the time of Moscow nightlife’s biggest nuisance: concerts by artists you won’t know and who only distract your girls from drinking and being gamed. From 4am to 6am the regular clubs are emptying out but plenty of people, women included, still hit up one of the many afterparty clubs. Those last till well past 10am.

As far as days go: Fridays and Saturdays are peak days. Thursday is an OK day, all other days are fairly weak and you have to know the right venues.

The Ultimate Moscow Nightclub List

Short disclaimer: I didn’t add basic and electro clubs since you’re coming for the girls, not for the music. This list will give you more options than you’ll be able to handle on a weekend.

Preparty – start here at 11PM

Classic restaurant club with lots of tables and a smallish bar and dancefloor. Come here between 11pm and 12am when the concert is over and they start with the actual party. Even early in the night tons of sexy women here, who lean slightly older (25 and up).

The second floor of the Ugolek restaurant is an extra bar with dim lights and house music tunes. Very small and cozy with a slight hipster vibe but generally draws plenty of attractive women too. A bit slower vibe than Valenok.

Very cool, spread-out venue that has a modern library theme. Not always full with people but when it is, it’s brimming with top-tier women. Slow vibe here and better for grabbing contacts and moving on.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

High-end: err on the side of being too early rather than too late because of face control.

Secret Room

Probably the top venue at the moment in Moscow . Very small but wildly popular club, which is crammed with tables but always packed. They do parties on Thursdays and Sundays as well. This club has a hip-hop/high-end theme, meaning most girls are gold diggers, IG models, and tattooed hip hop chicks. Very unfavorable logistics because there is almost no room no move inside the club but the party vibe makes it worth it. Strict face control.

Close to Secret Room and with a much more favorable and spacious three-part layout. This place attracts very hot women but also lots of ball busters and fakes that will leave you blue-balled. Come early because after 4am it starts getting empty fast. Electronic music.

A slightly kitsch restaurant club that plays Russian pop and is full of gold diggers, semi-pros, and men from the Caucasus republics. Thursday is the strongest night but that dynamic might be changing since Secret Room opened its doors. You can swoop here but it will be a struggle.

Mid-level: your sweet spot in terms of ease and attractiveness of girls for an average budget.

Started going downwards in 2018 due to lax face control and this might get even worse with the World Cup. In terms of layout one of the best Moscow nightclubs because it’s very big and bottle service gives you a good edge here. Still attracts lots of cute girls with loose morals but plenty of provincial girls (and guys) as well. Swooping is fairly easy here.

I haven’t been at this place in over a year, ever since it started becoming ground zero for drunken teenagers. Similar clientele to Icon but less chic, younger and drunker. Decent mainstream music that attracts plenty of tourists. Girls are easy here as well.

Sort of a Coyote Ugly (the real one in Moscow sucks) with party music and lots of drunken people licking each others’ faces. Very entertaining with the right amount of alcohol and very easy to pull in there. Don’t think about staying sober in here, you’ll hate it.

Artel Bessonitsa/Shakti Terrace

Electronic music club that is sort of a high-end place with an underground clientele and located between the teenager clubs Icon and Gipsy. Very good music but a bit all over the place with their vibe and their branding. You can swoop almost any type of girl here from high-heeled beauty to coked-up hipsters, provided they’re not too sober.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

Afterparty: if by 5AM  you haven’t pulled, it’s time to move here.

Best afterparty spot in terms of trying to get girls. Pretty much no one is sober in there and savage gorilla game goes a long way. Lots of very hot and slutty-looking girls but it can be hard to tell apart who is looking for dick and who is just on drugs but not interested. If by 9-10am you haven’t pulled, it is probably better to surrender.

The hipster alternative for afterparties, where even more drugs are in play. Plenty of attractive girls there but you have to know how to work this type of club. A nicer atmosphere and better music but if you’re desperate to pull, you’ll probably go to Miks.

Weekday jokers: if you’re on the hunt for some sexy Russian girls during the week, here are two tips to make your life easier.

Chesterfield

Ladies night on Wednesdays means this place gets pretty packed with smashed teenagers and 6s and 7s. Don’t pull out the three-piece suit in here because it’s a “simpler” crowd. Definitely your best shot on Wednesdays.

If you haven’t pulled at Chesterfield, you can throw a Hail Mary and hit up Garage’s Black Music Wednesdays. Fills up really late but there are some cute Black Music groupies in here. Very small club. Thursday through Saturday they do afterparties and you have an excellent shot and swooping girls that are probably high.

Shishas Sferum

This is pretty much your only shot on Mondays and Tuesdays because they offer free or almost free drinks for women. A fairly low-class club where you should watch your drinks. As always the case in Moscow, there will be cute girls here on any day of the week but it’s nowhere near as good as on the weekend.

maruti suzuki swift dzire tour ldi 2017

In a nutshell, that is all you need to know about where to meet Moscow girls in nightlife. There are tons of options, and it all depends on what best fits your style, based on the type of girls that you’re looking for.
