School trips leave a great impact in the mind of the student, where he goes without his family, with his friends and colleagues, which allow him to rely on himself and take responsibility and enjoy the activities of the trip.

Each school planning for trips is as a recreational and educational way, supervised by social workers and school supervisors, who planning visits, ticketing, bus booking, etc.

I went on a school trip to (name of the city) of (Governorate name). of (city area in km) and (population number) approximately.

I prepared my small bag and put sandwiches, juice and water for the trip. I went to sleep early to wake up early to be full of energy on the journey.

We rode the bus in front of the school in the early morning and we left our parents and friends who did not come with us.

The bus driver displayed a documentary about the city we were going to visit and the tour supervisor told us about the directions and instructions we should follow and how to act in case of lost. He provided us emergency numbers and asked us to write them in a paper and keep in our pocket.

We arrived at our destination and started visiting the (museum name) which is a large museum featuring many important items that tell us the history of the city.

Then we went to visit the open museum which is an open area with many beautiful items.

Then we went to visit the important landmarks of the city.

The last stop of the trip was to visit the amusement park, a recreational city with lots of games.

The supervisor gave us two hours to enjoy our time, play the games we want and assemble before the door of the amusement park in preparation for riding the bus and back to our city.

We gathered two hours later in front of the amusement park door, the supervisor checked everyone’s presence and then we boarded the bus and returned to our city.

It was a beautiful day we enjoyed it a lot and we saw many of the city’s famous sights.

We learned a lot about its history and the history of its inhabitants.

Finally, we reached our city late at night. Our families were waiting for us.

We thanked the tour supervisor and went to our homes to sleep and prepare for school the next day.

When visiting the library, I was able to sign one of the famous books and see some of the authors of these books. I always watched this event through movies only. It is great to try this experience and get some interesting and useful books.

But certainly nothing is so wonderful after a long day of listening and paying attention as visiting the park and walking around it to release all that energy.

I cannot describe the beauty of how I felt in the experience of the games and activities that we did inside the park. I can say this was the best school trip experience I’ve ever had.

‘My trip started with me and my family making a list of necessary items and packing our stuff. Me and my family went on a 4-day trip to Udaipur, the city of lakes. ‘When I was in Class 5, we went on a school trip to Rishikesh, the famous hill station. My mother packed all my important things and told me to follow everything my teacher told me. It was a 3-day trip, where we had a lot of fun, ate delicious food, played games on the riverside, did rafting, bonfire and jungle-adventure.

‘My favorite trip was to Kashmir, called ‘Paradise on Earth’. It is an Indian Union Territory, located in Northern India. There were breathtaking views, serene lakes, and snow-capped mountains. It was like I was in heaven.

We traveled by train, where we enjoyed the winding green valleys and beautiful waterfall. Firstly, we explored the Mughal Gardens. There were terraces arranged near the water channel, fountains lined, and various types of flowers and trees planted.

After skiing, we were so hungry that my brother and I ate a hearty meal to recover our exhausted energy. We were so exhausted that we slept for 4 hours. When we woke up, we witnessed snow for the first time. We made a snowman and played Tic-Tac-Toe using sticks.

We generally go to meet our grandparents or go on a trip with family and friends. This year, I went on a trip to the hill stations of Ooty along with my parents, grandparents and cousins. The most important thing about these vacations is the time spent with family during these vacations we make life-long memories.

We started the vacation by going to the native village of our grandparents, which is around 100 km away from the city in which we reside. My cousins and our extended family also joined us in our ancestral home. We then took a train to Ooty. 

The train ride was filled with laughter and songs, and I greatly enjoyed the ride. We got to see the beautiful landscapes of India on our way to the destination. We reached our Ooty in the evening. It is a small hill station with beautiful natural scenery and vegetation. 

I started the next day with an early morning walk with my grandparents and cousins. I then ate my breakfast after which the whole family traveled around the town. I learnt about the birds and trees of the hill stations. During nights I and my cousins would hear stories from my grandparents. I thoroughly enjoyed these stories. At the end of my trip, we went shopping to take some mementoes to my hometown. 

Despite the fact that my summer vacation was longer, the trip was by far the most memorable experience I had at that time. I am very grateful for the time I spent with my family. During the vacation, I not only learnt new things about the natural and cultural heritage of the place but also had a great time with my family. I like summer vacations and have the satisfaction of knowing that I have utilized my time productively.

Summer vacations are the most fun time of the year as I get to enjoy my time with my family and friends. I start planning my summer vacations as soon as the final exams end. I love to travel  

Don’t you? For me traveling opens my mind to new ideas, new adventures and lets me learn. I like to learn as well and when I travel I get to learn about different people, their cultures and their way of thinking. 

When I was young I was able to travel across Canada. Even in a western country, there are different cultures and I got to see Ottawa and Montreal up close. The French Canadians are not the same as the Western Canadian and my experience was fabulous. 

Going to the east was not as exciting as traveling through the Rocky Mountains though. The grandeur and beauty of that mountain range defy description. Snow-capped almost all year round, these mountains stood tall and majestic. 

They even have a glacier in their midst that is something to behold. Lake Louise stands out as well with its multi-colored water and mountain surroundings. But as good as those trips were, they do not compare to when I left Canada and traveled to Asia for the first time. 

Here I was traveling to a completely different culture than I had experienced as a child. My itinerary was taking me to the land of the Morning Calm and was known in earlier days as the hermit kingdom. 

This was going to be a new experience for me. The plane took off going in a northerly direction as airlines like to fly close to land. This is a good policy as the passengers get to see the grand western mountains from a new angle. 

Up to and past Mt. Mckinley the snow-covered peaks glistened under the sun’s rays… That look was made better by the contrasting dark green colors of the forests that make their home throughout the mountains. 

Then as we were flying over the north Pacific ocean the realization set in that I was in for an adventure. The bright blue waters of the Pacific made the Japanese islands look like little diamonds set on a velvet cloth. 

A few minutes later we were passing over the eastern coastline of Korea, with its tall waves beating against the rocky shores. It was too late to turn back. We were almost to our destination, Seoul. 

After we had landed and I found my way to my hotel. The great thing about Korea is that it has signed both in English and Korean making it easy for foreigners to navigate to their destinations without hassle. 

The taxi drivers were polite and very helpful, plus they did not try to rip me off. They drove me directly to my hotel and helped me get inside. In looking out my hotel window I could see what made Seoul so attractive. It was a modern city filled with history. 

A history the Korean people were proud of. That pride was found in the lack of an entry fee to their wonderful museums. Even their ancient palaces were not that expensive to enter. Seoul. Has at least 3 of them within its borders. 

The main palace, Geongbokgung, is backed by Seoul’s mountains giving it a picture-perfect quality that is astounding. It took some time to see it all. After I left the palace I headed to the first national treasure of Korea, Nam Dae Mun or the southern gate. 

It stood tall and proud and it would be the entrance you would come through if you were traveling to Seoul from the south. The wide Han River is quietly weaved its way through the city supply the residents with pure mountain fresh water every day. 

There is too much to list here that both Seoul and Korea have to offer but it was a trip of a lifetime and one I will always remember. It wasn’t a vacation nor an adventure. It was a true travel experience.

My Memorable Journey Essay for Children

When I was 15 my parents took me to my hometown, yeah, my hometown where my grandfather was born. Its a small place in Uttarakhand ‘ALMORA’.

Its a small valley surrounded by mountains and in winters it looks like that our valley has worn sweaters (snow covering mountains).

We took a Volvo bus from Delhi to Haldwani (centre between plains and mountains) and from Haldwani we took another bus to Almora.

Travelling from Delhi to Haldwani was normal, everything is just straight, temperature is normal but from Haldwani to Almora the ride becomes adventurous and amazing.

Path to travel are not anymore straight, our bus travels in zig zag direction, the temperature started falling, we felt cold and put on some jackets and sweaters.

When I saw outside the window, a fresh wind touches my face and small drop fall on my face (os ki boond) I was just mesmerized by that environment, its far better than any city. We approximately take 10 to 12 hours for reaching there.

It is such a beautiful place, I don’t know how everything was so much beautiful there? Then around 5 or 6’o clock am, we reached Almora.

Bus drops us at bus stop which is located at one of the mountain then by walking we go down and now the beautiful place become more beautiful we saw a river, its water was cold and my heart captures that place, we took some rest on the bank of river, a cold wind touches my soul, and sound of water make us feel pleasurable.

There are big stones inside the river, we captured some photos there.

There is a bridge to cross the river which is very clean and beautiful. There are small temples visible to us between mountains.

People are busy in their work. Women and men both are doing their work in farms. There are many cows and buffaloes eating grass.

Then we again started to walk, after 1 km we reached our lovely beautiful home. We all had taken some rest then after that we had some food from our neighbour who all were so kind and the food was very tasty.

I had never eaten such a good food.

Then we went to our kul devta temple for pooja, there we click selfies and pics. There are big mountains surrounding us everything is so much beautiful there.

Now we start our pooja ceremony, my mother did it all, she tell us to take ashirvaad from our Kul Devta.

Then after pooja we all went to meet people whom we don’t even know but my father knows them. We saw our farms, played with kids and that’s all for a day.

We went to sleep and in the nights, it’s very cold, in summer season too we have to take blanket at night while if we compare cities, we can’t live without air conditioner and the climate of Almora is naturally cold and mesmerising.

Then next morning we went for trekking, awesome weather, we had eaten plums from trees for the first time, those plums were so juicy and tasty. We saw various type of animals and birds which we can’t see in cities.

The environment is so much lovely that I wanted to live there for my whole life. Then we packed our bags sadly we have to come back to Delhi again it was so hard to leave such a beautiful place.

But then my dad said son we are going to Nainital for more fun, then by bus we are back to Haldwani, from their we took train to Nainital.

Nainital we all know is such a beautiful place to visit in holidays to enjoy and relax.

It lies in kumaon region of Uttarakhand there we hire a hotel room and open our back packs, took some rest and ate some tasty food, all night we took some extra rest so that we can enjoy the Nainital trip as well, the next day.

We woke up early morning and had some breakfast and went to see the beauty of Nainital.

The lake is also called Naini lake and see the Corbett national park and Gurney house.

We clicked some selfies and photographs their also. We bought some stuffs for our friends and colleagues.

Kilbury bird sanctuary was awesome place to visit to see birds of different variety.

If you visit Nainital then don’t forget to visit Bhimtal, Sattal, Ghorakhal and Naina Devi temple. These are the most amazing places of Nainital to visit. We don’t have the time to visit these places as our vacations are getting over.  

This is my memorable trip to Almora and Nanital, I suggest you all to visit Almora and Nanital at once. You will feel same as I felt to go there.

These are two most mesmerizing places that I have ever visited. These places are so much awesome that anyone want to live there for a whole life.

Now there is a regular trip to Almora once in a year to enjoy the nature’s beauty. We all went to Almora every summer or winter vacation for relaxation of mind and body.

Almora makes me feel at home, such relaxation is nowhere, those cold winds are incomparable, those river sounds are nowhere.

I took my 2 toddlers into first class on a flight. Parents shouldn't be scared to do the same.

• I took my twin 4-year-olds in first class on a trip to Florida. 
• It wasn't my original plane, but after having to change my flight, those were the only free seats. 
• No one batted an eye, and they got to eat cake and watch TV. 

When my surgeon told me that after my ACL reconstruction surgery , I was going to have to delay my trip to Florida, I panicked. I had planned the whole trip so my twin daughters and I could fly together to spend some time in the sun with the grandparents.

I had to change my tickets, and when I checked the airline's website, the only three available were in first class .

I doubted whether it was crazy to take not only one toddler but two on first class, and what other passengers would think of us. I worried someone was going to be mean to me or them, especially since one of them would be flying across the aisle from me.

Turns out, no one cared, and we had a memorable flight .

I prepped them before the flight

My husband and our older child were sitting at the back of the plane, so I explained to the twins what was happening before boarding. I told them we had to be on our best behavior because they were probably going to be the only kids on that section of the plane and that Daddy wouldn't be able to come to sit with us.

To my surprise, they were not the only kids there. Another child around their age was sitting right in front of us, and a teen was further up front.

They were excited about the big seats but, more importantly, about being able to watch endless shows on their tablets , as I had promised.

The flight attendant was so kind

Food was another thing I was nervous about. Being used to flying coach, I missed the window to order a toddler-appropriate lunch for them from the airline , so I knew we were stuck with whatever was left over. I made sure to have plenty of snacks to avoid meltdowns.

The flight attendant made sure they had enough cookies and warm nuts, and instead of giving them the full fancy meal, they got to eat cake for lunch. They were so thrilled.

She also helped me get both twins into the bathroom when it was time for a break and checked in with us several times throughout the flight.

They were better behaved than some of the adult passengers

I was worried about how they were going to behave and if people were going to treat us poorly after reading so many airline nightmare stories from other parents.

One of the twins was seated across the aisle from me and next to a stranger, and I was ready to jump into action if that passenger was rude to her. To my surprise, they didn't really care and laughed when my toddler kept asking for more cake without taking her eyes off the screen.

Other adult passengers around us were even worse behaved than my toddlers were, complaining when they needed to get up to let their seatmates use the restroom.

While I can't afford to fly in first class with my kids regularly (or ever again), this flight with them restored my faith that not all travelers are mean to kids and that parents and non-parents can coexist when up in the air.
