Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato Announce 'Future Now' Tour
The music superstars will launch their "Future Now" tour next year.
— -- Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas fans rejoice; the pair announced today they are heading out together on tour.
“Nick and I have decided, and we are announcing, that we are going on tour next year,” Lovato, 23, said today on “ Good Morning America " of "Future Now: The Tour."
Demi Lovato Explains Conflicting Emotions Behind Song 'Father'
Watch nick jonas perform on the 'big' piano at fao schwarz.
The pair, who first appeared together in Disney’s “Camp Rock” in 2008, said they are joining forces mainly for their fans.
“Demi and I were business partners and, obviously, have a long history of being friends, but the chief for us was about living in this moment, taking a step out individually over the last year-and-a-half, two years, and growing with our fans and then saying, you know, if there was ever a time to do it, it’s now,” Jonas, also 23, said. “[We’re] so excited to get in front of our fans and rally curate the moment each night.”
Lovato called making sure their fans enjoy the tour the “most important thing.”
“The most important thing is taking the show on the road and getting to share this experience with all the fans that have supported this music for the past, you know, couple of years,” she said.
Jonas has already been a part of one of Lovato’s world tours, behind the scenes, when he served as the musical and creative director of Lovato’s “Neon Lights” tour in 2014.
“I was part of the creative team on the tour and the chance to work behind the scenes was fun but now, to do this together, is really special for both of us,” Jonas said.
The “Jealous” and “Cool for the Summer” singers are also business partners, launching their own Safehouse Records record label in May.
“We kind of looked at each other a couple of years ago, about two years ago, and said we each had our own journey with not feeling safe to create, right, and as an artist you have to be vulnerable to do your best work, or we found that that’s the case,” Jonas explained of their inspiration. “…It’s about a community of people feeling comfortable to release things they want to release and have that support, starting with Demi and I, and eventually branching out to other artists and signing new people is the goal but it’s been an incredibly exciting couple of months for us.”
They launched the venture with their shared manager, Phil Mcintyre, and say the label is about creating an environment in which to create music but also one in which the artist feels supported emotionally.
“It’s kind of that overall kind of wellness type of environment that you can create music in,” Lovato said.
Lovato and Jonas also tweeted about the 2016 tour, including a link to RSVP for tickets.

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas Are Going on Tour Together
Former disney stars announced the "future now tour" monday.
OMG it's a Disney dream.
Nick Jonas confirmed Monday morning that he and Demi Lovato will be going on tour together. Dubbed the "Future Now Tour," Lovato and Jonas are going to be "working hard to make the best tour possible," the former JoBro told Elvis Duran .
The 23-year-old pop star also gave a few details about what fans can expect from the tour, including how many outfits audience members can expect to see. Jonas joked that he'll actually have more than Lovato.
"I'm going to have two more costume changes than Demi," he joked.
Between Lovato's Confident album and Jonas' hot tracks such as "Jealous" and "Chains" off his self-titled album, this tour will most likely be absolutely incredible. Anybody already having Camp Rock nostalgia?! And to think they started at sleep away camp and now they're all grown up going on a world tour.

The Disney duo have been friends for a long time, so long, in fact, that Lovato even weighs in on his rumored romances! Although she never reveals too much information, she does make it clear that his happiness is her No. 1 priority. When asked if he should get back together with Selena Gomez , Lovato said she felt he should do whatever he thinks is best .
"I'm Switzerland! I have no opinion on that! Listen, if I have an opinion on something, I'm gonna say it," the "Heart Attack" singer, 23, said. "I honestly don't have an opinion. I want him to be happy. I definitely want him to be happy."
Lovato added, "He deserves the best."
And the best he shall receive! Since this interview, which took place in early September, he has been linked to Kate Hudson . Lovato, on the other hand, is still tied to her long-term boyfriend, Wilmer Valderrama .
Maybe we'll get some adorable PDA pics from the road!

Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas ‘ paths continue to intertwine: the longtime Disney peers and friends have announced an extensive summer tour for next year. The Future Now tour will launch on June 24th in Sunrise, FL and end on September 17th in Los Angeles.
“Demi and I, we’re business partners [and] obviously have a long history of being friends, but the key for us was about living in this moment” Jonas said during their joint Good Morning America appearance. “Taking a step out individually over the last year and a half, two years, growing with our fans, and saying if there’s ever a time to do it, it’s now, to come together and do this tour.”
This will be Jonas and Lovato’s sixth tour together. Lovato opened for the Jonas Brothers for their 2008 Burnin’ Up tour and for select dates on the band’s 2009 and 2010 world tours. As a solo artist, Jonas served as a special guest on Lovato’s 2012 and 2014 tours. On the 2014 Neon Lights tour, Jonas also served as Lovato’s musical and creative director.
In May, between Jonas’ self-titled 2014 album and Lovato’s recent LP Confident , the pair launched a new record label together called Safehouse. Safehouse will be a joint venture with Island Records and the pop stars’ manager Phil McIntyre.
Recently, Jonas released new singles “Levels” and “Area Code,” though he has not confirmed when he will drop his next solo album and his own Safehouse debut.

Demi Lovato Nick Jonas ‘Future Now Tour’ concert review
At the end of June, former Disney stars Demi Lovato and Nick Jonas kicked off their co-headlining tour, “Future Now Tour.” Since beginning their tour, the duo has been traveling and performing all around the United States and Canada. They plan to finish off the tour in mid-October with 3 concerts scheduled in Mexico.
On Wednesday, August 24 th the “Future Now Tour” stopped by Vancouver, where Demi and Nick took the stage at Rogers Arena. Fortunately, being out of university for the summer, I was able to drag a friend along and check the show out!
[springboard type=”video” id=”1650609″ player=”mtvt006″ width=”480″ height=”400″ ]
Admittedly, I am not a huge fan of Demi’s, but Nick’s co-headlining status was enough to convince me to go. In addition, it is undeniable that Demi has some of the strongest vocals (if not the strongest) out of all of the musical starlets who came out of the Disney machine.
Leaving the show, I couldn’t help but compare Nick and Demi’s concert to that of their former Disney counterpart Miley Cyrus . Back in 2014, I attended the Vancouver stop of Miley’s “ Bangerz Tour .” While there was nothing to complain about when it came to Nick and Demi’s vocals, their energy was notably lower than that of Miley (which is somewhat predictable based on their contrasting public images). I looked around several times and was actually shocked at how still the audience members were in comparison to the crazy party that was going on during Miley’s show. Although I don’t expect Nick and Demi to come out on stage singing atop a rhinestone encrusted car anytime soon ( which Miley did , btw) , they definitely could use some embellishment in both their stage presence and the actual stage design itself (Nick and Demi just sang in front of a screen that changed colours from time to time). In addition, the thing I particularly liked about Miley’s concert was that she really flushed out the songs on her album Bangerz . On the other hand, Demi and Nick’s set was pretty much all radio hits ( which, let’s face it, have been overplayed at this point). Another big aspect that set Miley’s concert apart was the audience demographic. I was surprised by how young ( I’m talking 6-12 year olds) Demi and Nick’s crowd was, despite the fact that both singers are clearly trying to mature their image. I guess Miley’s wild public antics were, at the very least, effective in changing up her fan base (as many of her concert-goers were 16+).
Nonetheless, I did enjoy the concert, however, it was not an event that had me gushing about how good it was to everyone I subsequently ran into. Although I am biased, I truly believe that Nick has plenty of potential to push himself even further when it comes to owning the stage. While Demi has had years of being a solo artist, Nick is still relatively new to the scene. I am hoping that next time Nick is in town he will be headlining his own show and will be able to explore his own creative pursuits more. This time around it felt that he was letting Demi shine, thinking that he wasn’t the true star of the show. However, I think with the success he continues to have; he will soon realize otherwise.
3.5/5 Stars
Overall Review:
Nick is more than ready to branch out on his own and break free from his Disney roots. The “Future Now Tour” feels like it is a transition point for Nick, as he embraces his inner unleashed talent and charisma. Demi can continue to do her thing, as long as she is okay with the average age of her audience being 8 years old. Otherwise, she may need to call up her old pal Miley for some tips on how to dramatically shake things up.

Demi lovato and nick jonas have announced a joint three-month north american tour "future now" that will begin next year..
Singer Demi Lovato and longtime friend Nick Jonas have announced a joint three-month North American tour “Future Now” that will begin next year.
The 44-date tour will open on June 24 at Florida’s BB&T Center and hit cities across the US and Canada before concluding on September 17 in Los Angeles, reported Aceshowbiz.
Tickets for the upcoming shows go on sale on November 7.
“Demi and I, we’re business partners, obviously have a long history of being friends. But the key for us was about living in this moment,” Jonas said when he made an appearance alongside Lovato on “Good Morning America” on Monday.
“Taking a step out individually over the last year and a half, two years, growing with our fans, and saying if there’s ever a time to do it, it’s now, to come together and do this tour,” Lovato added.
Prior to the tour, Lovato and Jonas, 23, have several times hit the road together in the past.
The 23-year-old “Cool for the Summer” singer joined her friend when he was still a part of Jonas Brothers on the group’s 2008, 2009 and 2010 tours. Jonas also helped produce Lovato’s “Neon Lights” tour last year.

Not only is the programme emotional for the simple reason that it is their final TV outing, but it also features nostalgic footage from their Top Gear days, as they retrace their footsteps from their Botswana special on the BBC show, which aired 17 years ago in 2007.
This is definitely the end of an era not only for Prime series, but also for British TV on the whole.
So what’s next for The Grand Tour as the streaming giant prepares to open a new chapter? Here’s all you need to know.
What’s going to happen to Amazon’s The Grand Tour?
While One For The Road is the final episode for Jeremy, Richard and James on The Grand Tour, it doesn’t mark the end of the series completely.
The show will be continuing, but there will be new presenters helming the programme when it returns.
During a recent interview with Metro.co.uk , Richard said: ‘It will be carrying on. The Grand Tour continues. We’re stepping away as the hosts, but Prime will be continuing it . So I can’t wait to sit on my own chair and watch somebody else do it. That’s amazing.’
When giving his verdict on who Amazon should hire to take over, TV personality outlined: ‘If you’re making any show that at its heart has a subject, whether it’s cooking, dancing or cars, the hosts, the primary makers of it, have to have that passion in their heart. And we always did.
‘You never had to be a car geek to watch our show. Plenty of people who weren’t did watch it, but it was important that we were the car geeks.’
Jeremy echoed Richard’s point of view, offering his point of view for what Amazon should do net.
‘My advice to Amazon would be – and I’ve given this to them already – for heaven’s sake, do not get well known people who “like” cars,’ he told The Sun .
The Clarkson’s Farm star added that in his view, there’s ‘no point in hiring somebody who “likes” cars. Because that’s not enough’.
He continued: ‘I would get three complete unknowns. Start small, like we did. They’ve got to be absolute petrolheads,’ stating that in his view, the next presenters should be motoring journalists just like him, Richard and James.
‘You’ve got to have someone who does nothing but think about the show. I was completely engrossed in that show for 20 years,’ he summarised.
When could The Grand Tour return?
There’s no word yet on when The Grand Tour will return with its new roster of presenters.
The first season of the show aired between November 2016 and February 2017 with 13 episodes, followed by 11 episodes in the second season, which lasted from December 2017 until February 2018.
The third season of the show featured 14 episodes which were released between January and April 2019.
Then for the fourth season, the number of episodes was cut down drastically to just four, which came out between December 2019 and December 2021.
Finally, the fifth season, which began in September 2022, has just wrapped up with the last of its four episodes, with the finale dropping on September 13 2024.
One might assume that Amazon will want to keep the momentum going with The Grand Tour, but it’s unclear how far into the process the company is on the search for new presenters.
So while at this point we don’t have a clear timeline for the release date of the next season, fans can rest assured it will be on its way.
