Britain’s most-successful dance group, Diversity, have announced their brand-new UK and Ireland tour, Supernova, with the 66-date tour taking place across 40 towns and cities throughout 2023 and 2024.

Diversity ’s illustrious career shows how they continue to innovate, grow, and achieve. Collectively Diversity recently won Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment of 2020 at the British Academy Television Awards for their incredible Britain’s Got Talent routine.
Diversity have also confirmed that they will be supporting anti-poverty charity the Trussell Trust, which provides emergency food and support to people locked in poverty while campaigning for change to end the need for food banks in the UK. Diversity are bringing their new show Supernova to Swansea Arena in 2023
The group impressed the audience at Swansea Arena with their previous show - and they've now announced a new performance next year
- 12:34, 16 NOV 2022
Britain's Got Talent winners and highly-regarded street dance troupe Diversity are bringing their new show to Swansea Arena next year, it's been announced. The group, currently comprising 13 dancers of different ages, including fan favourites Ashley Banjo, Jordan Banjo and Perri Kiely, took the nation by storm when they won the third series of the talent show back in 2009 - and they've gone from strength to strength ever since.
Earlier this year, they brought their 'Connected' show to Swansea - it was one of the first dance shows to take place at the new Swansea Arena. If you haven't been yet, the brilliant performance venue can host up to 3,500 people and opened in March. You can read our recap from the opening here .
Now, Diversity are planning their return to the city with their new show "Supernova". They'll be visiting 40 towns and cities across the UK over a 66-date tour throughout 2023 and 2024 - and will be dancing into Swansea Arena on Saturday, November 11, 2023. For more Swansea stories, go to this page of our website, and you can keep up to date with the latest What's On news by signing up to the What's On newsletter here.

Tickets will be available on the Swansea Arena website here - presale goes on-sale this Thursday, November 17. Tickets are priced from £33.24 each, plus a £3.80 transaction fee. The suggested minimum age for the show and its running time are yet to be confirmed.
Explaining what people could expect, organisers said: "Supernova follows Diversity’s sold-out Connected tour earlier this year, which combined playful, comedic routines with powerful statements on human connectivity. Big, relentless, and energetic, the tour dazzled fans across the UK.
"Diversity’s illustrious career shows how they continue to innovate, grow, and achieve. Collectively, Diversity recently won Virgin Media's Must-See Moment of 2020 at the British Academy Television Awards for their incredible Britain's Got Talent routine. Diversity have also confirmed that they will be supporting anti-poverty charity the Trussell Trust, which provides emergency food and support to people locked in poverty while campaigning for change to end the need for food banks in the UK.
"Attendees on the tour are being invited to bring along food donations to the shows, where there will be collection points across the venues each night. There will also be collection buckets for any cash donations."
The announcement comes after it was announced that British 1970s and 80s chart-toppers Madness would be taking over Singleton Park on Friday, July 21, 2023, with special guests, The Craig Charles Funk & Soul Club.
Throughout their career, Madness have had ten UK top ten albums, and 15 top ten singles - they've also won a multitude of awards including a prestigious Ivor Novello. They're perhaps best known for their hits Our House, It Must Be Love, Baggy Trousers, and House of Fun - but they've recorded many, many more songs.
Swansea will also be hosting American supergroup Hollywood Vampires next year. The group comprises actor Johnny Depp, rocker Alice Cooper, Aerosmith lead guitarist Joe Perry and guitarist and musician Tommy Henriksen and, typically, they perform tributes to the great lost heroes of music, as well as some of their own material from their studio album Rise. Dance troupe Diversity have announced presale tickets for their upcoming Supernova tour that will stop in 44 towns and cities across the UK.
Founded by dancer and presenter Ashley Banjo , the group rose to fame during their stint on Britain’s Got Talent and, more than a decade on, they’re still going strong.
Giving fans across the country something to look forward to, they released a video teasing the extravaganza that’s set to be one of their biggest tours yet.
Calling it The Supernova Tour, presale tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 18 at 10am for locations including Eastbourne, Northampton, Nottingham, Portsmouth and Cornwall.
Posting an explosive reel hinting at what audiences can expect from the event, the announcement said: ‘We’re so excited to announce we will be touring with a brand new show!
‘THE SUPERNOVA TOUR! We can’t wait to create something special for you all!
‘Tickets go on general sale 10am Friday 18th November and presale starts this Thursday at 10am. Hit the link in our bio for more info [sic]’.
Fans were quick to virtually share their delight and excitement following the news as congratulatory comments poured in.
One wrote: ‘Can I afford it?! Nope but will I be there Yes yes I will!!! [sic]’
‘Yesssss can’t wait to see you again!! [sic]’, was another’s response.
Members of the group took time out to share their own joy at heading back out on the road with Perri Kiely posting: ‘HERE WE GO AGAIN!! [sic]’ and wife of Ashley, Francesca confirming: ‘It’s happening’.
Beginning next October, the tour schedule will continue on into 2024 where it will finish its run in April 2024 at Wolverhampton Civic Hall.
This new showcase follows in the wake of the troop’s current sold-out Connected tour that combined comedic routines with routines that made statements on human connectivity.
Never ones to shy away from promoting activism through dance, the group made their mark after winning a Bafta for their take on The Black Lives Matter movement during a performance on Britain’s Got Talent .
Bagging them the award for Virgin Media’s Must-See Moment of 2020, the routine that walked viewers through what happened to George Floyd and the incident’s aftermath, caused a stir after receiving thousands of Ofcom complaints .

Diversity – Connected 2022
Diversity took the nation by storm when they won the third series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009 and have so far sold out nine UK and Irish tours, sold over 600,000 tickets, with countless television and live performances. They celebrated this incredible achievement with a critically acclaimed sell out 48 show UK tour, Born Ready.
This tour is set to be even bigger, and to take them into the new decade of Diversity, Ashley has created a new show, Connected, which centres around the world of social media, the internet, and the digital era we now live in, but more importantly how this connects us all.
Apart from their incredible live shows, Diversity are undoubtedly certified TV superstars. Ashley Banjo returned as a judge on Dancing on Ice earlier this year and fellow Diversity member Jordan Banjo hosted two series of BBC 1’s primetime and BAFTA nominated show The Greatest Dancer. Jordan along with Perri Kiely are also part of breakfast radio royalty, presenting Kiss Breakfast every weekday.

Take That in Swansea: Road closures, timings, support act, set list and everything else you need to know
T ake That will become the second music act to perform at the Swansea.com stadium on two separate occasions this week, as they bring their This Life tour to the home of the Swans. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will play 29 dates across 15 cities around the UK and Ireland, including a stop off in Swansea on Thursday, June 6.
The band performed in front of a sell-out 27,000 people back in June, 2017, as they brought their Wonderland tour to what was then known as the Liberty Stadium. It was a memorable evening for the city, which saw them play some of their best known hits, and the evening finished with a fireworks finale. You can read more about that by clicking here .
Now, as the trio get set to return to the stadium this week, we've put together an at a glance guide of everything you need to know about the event, from road closures and the support act, to the predicted set list and more. Find out about the latest events in Wales by signing up to our What's On newsletter here .

The north car park will be open from 3pm for those with car parking pre-booked onsite. The catering village at the Swansea.com stadium will be open from 4pm, with doors opening at approximately 5pm.

Those parking at the lcv group are being warned that access to Alamein Road can only be obtained from the east, past Morfa Retail Park. Greater Toledo International Youth Orchestra travels to Japan for four-city tour
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - The Greater Toledo International Youth Orchestra is headed to Japan for a four-city tour.
The tour is part of the group’s mission to “bridge cultural diversity through music.” Several students from school districts throughout northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan play in the orchestra.
13 Action News caught up with the orchestra before they left on June 7.
“It’s much more modern, even than we are,” said Wesley Droll, a violin player in the orchestra. “The cultural differences between us is probably what I’m most excited for.”
The trip includes three concert performances in various cities, including Toledo’s sister city, Toyohashi.
