Alicia keys is soulful and sensational, she can get the crowd on their feet and she can also get them sat down listening as she hits every note perfectly as she hammers out her beautiful ballads. You may think you don't know many of her songs but tune after tune you scream " I know this song". As much as she is a soulful singer she can also play the piano thrashing them keys to make the songs come alive and wow does she make a party swing. We all have our favourite songs but mine has got to be "one" although not accompanied by U2 it still sounds awesome with her backing singers. Her dancers are hot and sassy and that is just the men but she has fun with her dancers and although not one to chat for ever during her set she does interact with the crowd.

Towards the end of her set when she sang Empire State of mind / New York the roof lifted ... So tickets were reasonable priced, the set was long and the quality of the artist was spot on.... Don't miss out next time Alicia tours - you won't be disappointed.

The show was amazing there are no words that can describe how incredible she is as an artist and a human being. She puts her heart and soul in every note she plays and sings. Truly humble and inspiring. Love her!

On a scale of one to ten it was a 15, Alicia was incredible and the music was fantastic she was on a rotating stage and the graphics were awesome.

Alicia Keys Announces 2022 Dates for ‘ALICIA + Keys World Tour’

Alicia Keys is ready to get back on the road and perform her new and timeless hits. Her world tour in support of her seventh album,  ALICIA ,   has been rescheduled for 2022. It was originally  slated to launch in June 2020 but was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. 

Keys will kick off the European leg of the world tour on June 9, 2022, at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena. From then until July 15, 2022, she will play shows in other countries, including Germany, France, and Spain, to name a few. 

On August 2, 2022, Keys will return to the states to perform the first North American show at Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre in Charlotte, N.C. Additional cities to hear Keys belt out favorites include Baltimore, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Dallas, Tampa, and Atlanta. The tour will wrap up on September 24, 2022, at the Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville.

In March, Keys made Billboard history, becoming the only artist to  claim the most number-one hits  on the Adult R&B Airplay chart. She has 12 chart leaders, with “So Done” featuring Khalid as the last. The song appears on ALICIA , considered an  “artistic breakthrough”  for Keys by Rated R&B.

2022 tour dates kick off in June

Alicia Keys is welcoming everyone into her world with her all-new double album, Keys , out today (Fri, Dec 10th) via RCA Records. In tandem with the release, Keys invites fans into a dream-like state in her new music video for “Old Memories,” directed by Sylvia M. Zakhary & Sing J Lee. The video is part of the Keys short film for the album which will release next week.

The album offers a dual, one-of-a-kind sonic experience – the Originals version contains all new songs that are quintessentially Alicia, reminiscent of the groundbreaking soundscape that everyone has come to know and love since her debut. The Unlocked version heightens the listening experience as Alicia samples her Keys originals with the help of GRAMMY Award winning producer Mike WiLL Made-It for a fresh irresistible vibe.

The 26-track double album features guest appearances from Khalid & Lucky Daye on “Come For Me” (Unlocked), Lil Wayne on “Nat King Cole” (Unlocked), Brandi Carlile on “Paper Flowers” (Originals), Pusha T on “Plentiful” (Originals) and Swae Lee on “LALA” (Unlocked). Keys also features “Best of Me,” the second single released in October as both Originals and Unlocked versions.

Keys will take center stage at the Expo 2020 Dubai UAE to perform in their Infinite Nights series. This global livestream will broadcast live from Al Wasl Plaza and will feature the pop star performing a bespoke show under Al Wasl dome, the world’s largest 360-degree projection surface. Celebrating 20 years of outstanding musical success, Alicia will perform a combination of her biggest anthems as well as songs from her new album.

Prior to the release of Keys , Alicia welcomed fans inside her world via the YouTube Originals four-part documentary series, Noted: Alicia Keys The Untold Stories , where she shared her journey from vulnerable young star, to self-empowered woman, musician and mother.

Next year, Keys will head out on her Alicia The World Tour starting in June in the UK. US dates begin in August. Tickets are available via Ticketmaster . Stops include two nights at New York’s Radio City Music Hall and Los Angeles’ Greek Theater, among others. Keys initially announced her long-awaited return to touring in 2020 , but was delayed two years due to the pandemic.

Alicia Keys Announces New 2022 Dates for ‘ALICIA World Tour’

‘Fallin’ singer Alicia Keys was among many music superstars whose touring plans fell victim to cancellation or postponement due to the global health crisis.

For Keys, the stalls came amid a series of delays for her seventh studio album, ‘ALICIA,’ which eventually hit digital shelves September 2020 (as we reported here ).

Now, nearly a year after first announcing she was pressing pause on the global jaunt designed to support the LP, the 15-time GRAMMY winner has pulled the curtain back with updates for her devoted fans.

Taking to social media Monday ( May 17 ), Keys sent her fans into a frenzy when she announced the 2022 dates of the world tour.

Set to kick off in the United Kingdom at Birmingham’s Utilita Arena in June 2022, the songbird is set to soar across Europe with stops planned in France, Spain, Germany, and other countries before flying to North America to perform a slew of dates in major cities like Los Angeles, Atlanta, New York, Charlotte, and more.

The tour will come to its finale in September 2022 in Nashville.  Review the pic above to see if Miss Keys will be cranking out her hits in a city near you.

Fourteen-time Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and global superstar Alicia Keys will bring her ‘Set The World On Fire’ tour to Australia this December, joined by special guest John Legend.

Both Grammy Award winning artists will bring their full bands to perform arena shows nationally and one very special a day on the green at Rochford Wines, Yarra Valley on Saturday December 7.  Australia marks the final leg of Keys’ ‘Set The World On Fire’ world tour.

Keys, whose prominent profile piece aired Sunday night on ’60 Minutes’ has been performing on a global stage since the international spotlight locked on to the 20-year-old’s 2001 release of her debut album ‘Songs In A Minor’. Led by the massive #1 hit ‘Fallin’, the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard charts, going on to sell in excess of 10 million copies worldwide and garner five Grammy awards.

This success was further cemented by subsequent album releases ‘The Diary Of Alicia Keys’, ‘As I Am’, ‘The Element Of Freedom’ and hit singles ‘No One’, ‘If I Ain’t Got You’, ‘Superwoman’, ‘You Don’t Know My Name’, ‘Empire State Of Mind’ and more.

Keys’ fifth studio album ‘Girl On Fire’ debuted at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, #1 on Billboard’s R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart and #1 on the Top Digital albums chart. In addition to being the best-selling R&B album in the U.S., ‘Girl On Fire’ reached #1 on the iTunes album chart in 19 countries.  The title track is a global top ten smash which has sold more than three million units in single sales worldwide since its September 2012 release. Special guest on the tour will be the soulful and sensual sounds of nine-time Grammy award-winner John Legend, and his band.

Since releasing his 2004 debut album, the critically acclaimed Billboard #1 ‘Get Lifted’ featuring the hit single ‘Ordinary People’, singer/songwriter Legend has sold more than seven million albums worldwide, won three Soul Train Awards, the BET Award for Best New Artist and the special Starlight Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame, in addition to his multiple Grammy wins.

Legend followed up in  2006 with the platinum-selling ‘Once Again’, featuring collaborations with Kanye West, will.i.am and Raphael Saadiq; 2008 brough ‘Evolver’ led by the hit single ‘Green Light’ featuring Andre 3000; and 2010 delivered a collaboration with The Roots, ‘Wake Up!’ which won the Grammy for Best R&B Album.

Alicia Keys unveiled the dates for her upcoming Keys to the Summer Tour across North America on Tuesday (April 18).

The run of 23 dates kicks off June 28 at FLA Live Arena in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and make stops in cities including Atlanta, Boston, New Orleans, Salt Lake City and Seattle before closing Aug. 2 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif. Each stop will be unlike any concert the KEYS II star has done before thanks to completely redesigned production and staging that will present the singer’s soulful, piano-driven sound to fans in the round for the very first time.

Alicia Keys announced today that she will be launching a North American summer concert tour which starts June 28 th  in Ft. Lauderdale, FL . Produced by Live Nation, the  KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR   follows her sold-out and critically acclaimed The Alicia + Keys World Tour which brought Keys across Europe, North America and will soon head to Latin America.    

The general on sale for the KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR  will begin  Friday, April 21 st  at 9am local time.  Pre-sales will run from Tuesday, April 18 th  –Thursday, April 20 th . Alicia Keys Fan Club and Keys Soulcare Pre-Sales will launch Tuesday, April 18 th at 1pm ET. The KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR  will bring the GRAMMY Award-winning global superstar back to North America for 23 arena dates and an all new,completely reimagined and redesigned concert experience and set list. The tour will feature Keys, for the first time ever, in a 360-degree, “in the round” production setup which will allow fans to experience her live performance in an entirely new and exhilarating way. Keys, known for incorporating innovative and engaging production design into her live performances, worked with director Diane Martel (who directed “If I Ain’t Got You” and “Like You’ll Never See Me Again” – two of Keys’ most powerful videos) and designer Chiara Stephenson to design the concept and staging of the  KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR .   

Of the first-time, “in the round” production staging, Keys says, “ The KEYS TO THE SUMMER TOUR  is going to be completely unforgettable and unmissable! I describe it as a celebration of freedom and self-liberation! Alicia Keys joins the growing list of musicians planning to keep fans outside this year. On Tuesday, (April 18) the R&B singer revealed dates for the Keys To The Summer tour, set to kick off in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. on June 28.

In a statement provided to Live Nation, the 42-year-old described the tour as “going to be completely unforgettable and unmissable!” 

Jill Scott Joins Alicia Keys For Final Tour Stop In Nashville

With 23 dates across North America, the Girl On Fire performer has stops in Atlanta, Boston, New Orleans, Philadephia, Toronto, and Washington D.C., before closing on Aug. 2 at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif.

Announcing the tour, the New York City native shared a vibrant video on social media. In the clip, viewers get a glimpse into Keys’ personal life with intimate footage of her and her family. The video also shows appreciation for her fans.

In September 2022, the Grammy Award-winning musician wrapped the Alicia + Keys World Tour in Nashville with a surprise performance from Jill Scott.

During the event, the women performed  Keys’ song “ Jill Scott ,” named for and dedicated to the Philly native. The duo also delivered a live version of” The Way” from Scott’s acclaimed debut album,  Who Is Jill Scott?

Tickets for the one-of-a-kind Keys To The Summer tour go on sale to the general public on Friday (April 21) at 9 a.m. local time. Pre-sales for Spotify, Live Nation, Ticketmaster, and each venue on the tour will begin Thursday (April 20) at 10 a.m. local time. Additionally, fans belonging to the Alicia Keys Fan Club and Keys Soulcare have advanced access.

Inside Missy Elliott’s first headlining tour, with Busta Rhymes, Ciara and Timbaland

LOS ANGELES (AP) — At a 24,000-square-foot studio near downtown Los Angeles, Missy Elliott , Busta Rhymes and Ciara are preparing to film the video announcement for a tour no one saw coming.

This summer, the trio — along with legendary producer Timbaland — will hit the road for Elliott’s first headlining arena tour, appropriately titled “Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience.”

“Listen, I didn’t realize I never had my own tour,” says a smiling Elliott, holding her tiny Yorkie, named Fendi, dressed in Gucci. “The last real tour that I went on — like, consistent days — was with Beyoncé and Alicia (Keys).”

That was in 2004.

Call it long overdue, but the timing is ideal. Over the last few years, Elliott — the forward-seeking artist — has been recognized for her talents as a musician, producer, songwriter and beyond .

In 2019, she became the first female rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame and received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards. In 2021, she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. In 2022, her hometown of Portsmouth, Virginia, named a boulevard after her. Last year, she became the first female hip-hop artist inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

“Getting those accolades, I feel like I’ve finally made it,” Elliott says. “It feels amazing. I feel so blessed.”

“What we’re seeing now is kind of the rest of the world catching up,” says Mona Scott-Young, Elliott’s longtime manager and co-producer of the tour. “She’s always been ahead.”

In his green room, Busta Rhymes tells the AP that a tour had never come up in conversation across his decades of friendship and collaboration with Elliott. (He’s the intro and outro voice on her canonical debut album, 1997’s “Supa Dupa Fly.” They’ve long since been inseparable.)

“She doesn’t really tour and she doesn’t perform often. I just kind of understood my sister — the unspoken thing,” he says. “You knew that if she decided to do this, go to the place where she was actually ready to tour, the s--- was going to be crazy because one thing Missy never did was play with her production. And you saw that in everything she did, from her shows to her videos.”

He continued: “Missy will turn down $10 million to do a show. … She’s super in control of her destiny in that way, and without compromise, is what made her super incredibly great. You can’t do nothing but love her for that. She’s a true artist in the purest form of the word.”

And make no mistake, this isn’t a nostalgia tour.

“We are in the best spaces in our lives, individually and collectively, we’re at the most experienced spaces in our lives,” Rhymes says. “We’re no longer Daniel-san. We’re now all Mr. Miyagi senseis. You know what I’m saying? We’re all at our perfection levels of what we’ve been doing and building together as a collective family for 30 years.”

Elliott echoed the sentiment.

“The lineup feels something special,” says Elliott. “It’s family. It’s not put together.”

On set, the trio are styled by longtime collaborator June Ambrose — all-black looks, like if the Avengers were impeccably dressed and made up of R&B and hip-hop legends. They take photos as a group and individually.

After her solo photo shoot, Ciara starts to tear up.

“When I was a little girl, a little artist coming up, and you would ask me, ‘Who inspires you?’ I would infuse a combination of people: Michael Jackson and Prince and I would say Missy Elliott. She’s one of the best performers of all time,” she said.

“She means a lot to me as an artist but also as a person, as a sister. She’s always someone I can call for the truth, and she’s got to keep it real with me. She’s someone I can call and cry to if I need to.”

But ask her if there will be any on-stage collaborations — Elliott wrote and was featured on Ciara’s huge hit “1, 2 Step”; Ciara’s on Elliott’s “Lose Control” — she laughs. “Missy’s very particular. I don’t want to ruin any surprises,” she says. “I think from beginning to end, people will be on their feet. All of us have a lot of energetic records.”

“Somebody’s gonna die!” Rhymes jokes.

“And come back to life,” Ciara cuts in.

“Let’s keep it positive,” Rhymes laughs. “Someone is gonna die and come back to life.”

Later, Elliott offers a hint at what fans can expect from the show. “It’s an experience, it’s not just you seeing the artist on the stage,” she says. “I want people to travel to those moments, those (music) videos , I want you to relive it on stage. It is most definitely a lot of good, good stuff. Expensive stuff!”

The “Out of This World — The Missy Elliott Experience” kicks off in Vancouver, British Columbia, on July 4 at Rogers Arena and concludes in Rosemont, Illinois, at Allstate Arena on Aug. 22.

It will hit Seattle; Oakland, California; Los Angeles; Las Vegas; Denver; Austin, Texas; Houston; Fort Worth, Texas; Tampa, Florida; Sunrise, Florida; Atlanta; Baltimore; Hampton, Virginia; Philadelphia; Washington, D.C.; Newark, New Jersey; Boston; Brooklyn, New York; Detroit; Montreal and Toronto.

The tour is produced by Young’s Monami Entertainment and Live Nation. Presale begins tomorrow , and tickets will become available to the general public on Friday.

16-Time Grammy Award Winner Alicia Keys Debuts Video For “Kaleidoscope”

Alicia Keys and the Broadway company of  HELL’S KITCHEN  today released the original music video for  “Kaleidoscope,”  the new songwritten for the musical  HELL’S KITCHEN  by 16-time Grammy Award winner  Alicia Keys  featuring  Maleah Joi Moon . With Keys, lead cast member Maleah Joi Moon, and the Broadway company of  HELL’S KITCHEN , the video also has a colorful cast of extras to showcase a true New York kaleidoscope of music, dance and community. Filmed entirely at Manhattan Plaza, the video is a love letter to the Hell’s Kitchen community where Alicia Keys was born and raised. From Manhattan Plaza’s courtyard to the Ellington Room where Alicia first learned to play the piano, the visual soars with the magic of the city, a world full of hopes and dreams and the long-held belief of every New Yorker that “anything is possible here.” 

The video’s director Kajal, a New York native herself, wanted to capture the rhythm and energy of the city that are the heartbeat of the song and the musical. Leading an all-female directing team, Kajal uses the lights and sounds of the city along with unique camera angles, vintage lenses, wide angles and more to bring cinematic flair to the story.  Choreography was directed by  HELL’S KITCHEN  choreographer Camille A. Brown. 

The cast of characters in the video were encouraged to bring their own sense of style to their wardrobe, something with their own unique sense of New York swagger. Alicia joined in — fans will see a nod to her family ties in a scene where she wears an exclusive custom-made GIANTS vest from the Dean Collection exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum, designed by Savant.

“This video is so special to me, it captures the spirit of Hell’s Kitchen, the place I grew up, and the new musical we’ve worked so hard to bring to life! One that is now debuting on Broadway on 4/20!
