Despite multiple conversations with Shivani, who repeatedly promised that the refund would be completed within 24 to 48 hours, this timeframe has clearly not been honored. The ongoing delays and unfulfilled promises raise serious concerns about how your company handles customer complaints. If I do not receive the refund today, I will have no choice but to publish our entire correspondence on social media, allowing the public to see how a company worth billions like MakeMyTrip.com is failing its customers. SCAMMERS - DONT TRUST ON THEIR APP -Worst customer service- FINALLY I GOT MY REFUND

I booked a Hotel by the agency MAKE MY TRIP UAE on United Arab Emirates, but the booking confirmation was not sent to my email address. Even when I made the payment, the website collapse and it showed a blank screen, after that I didn’t have any booking on “my trips”, the screen only says “You’ve no pending bookings”. I tried to contact them by many ways facebook chat, instagram, official contact centre but as I don’t have any booking reference they can’t see any transaction. Of course the website took my money and it’s very clear on my bank statement. I sent them all the proofs of the payment done but they are still saying “let us check, on 24hs we will answer you” delaying more and more. Very frustrating how the company is stealing the money in front of you. Afterwards spending 4 stressful days, could call to the hotel and they accept to refund my money. Anyway I insisted so many times to makemytrip customer service. They told me if the hotels has agreed with the refund, they could do the refund.

Worst experience of travel in last 20years

I have been waiting in the airport for long time, because makemytrip keeps disconnecting my call and not providing proper answer on status of my flight. I am unable to get boarding pass from London to Bengaluru, because makemytrip is not reinstating the booking. The airport officials said - your travel agent has to only reinstate the booking, the flight is operational. I had to keep on phoning the agents on makemytrip and the calls keeps getting disconnected. Is this the way to treat a customer who is waiting at the airport and desperately waiting to board the flight? Worst experience I ever had, I have never faced anything like this

THE WORST TRAVEL SITE EVER … I had a flight booking done through *MakeMyTrip.com* from Cochin to Auckland via Kualalampur which was cancelled 4 days before the travel date . The flight was initially booked during the weekend in spite of it being highly priced because of my family’s convenience. I had also paid extra for carrying extra luggage . The flight got cancelled and they sheduled another flight via Singapore with a layover of more than 30 hours a day later , Which not only is very inconvenient for me but refused to provide accommodation. On top of that the check in luggage weight is reduced which now forces me to pay extra . Now I cant cancel the flight nor can I get the refund … my visa goes it waste . MakeMyTrip customer service is horrible , if no use and of no help . If I have to do things on my own then why book through such medians. No customer service , no helpline. ITS A SCAM.

Hi Stayed in Emblem Hotel , New Friend Colony Delhi booked through MMT Seriously pathetic hotel , not sure how these hotels are recommended by MMT team .. Bed Bugs are spotted in huge volume casullay in the beds . Entire hotel is stinging , dampness all around and tobacco spitting in the stairs and lifts .. worst housekeeping

Very bad to contact to customer service. I want to contact for my refund but nobody connect with. I'm trying many times but very tough to conversation with company's employee.

Flight cancellation, NO refund

I emailed MMT to cancel more than a week before my flight. I received a generic response, that they are attending to my query. I emailed three more times, no informative response. Called once I returned and was refused any refund.

Not trustworthy. had very bad experience with makemy trip.I booked flight ticket from kochi -berlin on for 18th july thru makemy trip.They charged Flight charge + additional 5kg baggage allowance in which they charged 12500 for this 5kg.But at the time of checkin qatar airways denied this additional 5 kg and they asked me for pay for this additional baggage .I contacted makemy trip customer care and they said they will contact the airlines and they said they will do this amount refund once the travel completes.I had to pay again for this same 5kg.I mailed make my trip my payslip and all documents regarding this.After that they are not properly replying for the mails.After one month they send me a mail the amount is not refundable.Very disappointing..Not trustworthy for the travellers.

had a terrible experience with this app after booking a train ticket. Not only was my booking completely messed up, but I also never received my refund. I tried contacting customer support multiple times, and I’ve gotten absolutely nothing—no help, no answers, nothing. It’s as if they’ve just decided to ignore me. I paid good money for a train ticket, and when things went wrong, they left me hanging. It’s been weeks, and I’m still waiting for my refund. This is unacceptable! The lack of communication and support is appalling. If you’re thinking of using this app, don’t. They’ll take your money and disappear when you need help. A Nightmare with SpiceJet Airlines: A Warning to Fellow Travelers On the night of August 31st, 2024, our journey with SpiceJet Airlines from Dubai to Delhi quickly turned into a nightmare. Our flight, originally scheduled to depart at 10:45 PM, was delayed multiple times without any clear communication. First, we were told it would take off at 1:45 AM on September 1st. As frustrating as that was, nothing could prepare us for the next delay: 7:30 AM. However, the most distressing part of this experience was the lack of support from SpiceJet’s ground staff. Instead of offering genuine help, we were given absurd options like taking a different flight from Dubai to Pune, or worse, canceling our current flight and booking a new one with another airline at our own expense. This left us and other passengers feeling abandoned and helpless, with no alternative but to wait for hours on end. To add insult to injury, SpiceJet informed us that any refund for our disrupted flight would take up to 30 days. The audacity of this airline is beyond comprehension, expecting us to wait an entire month to get back what is rightfully ours after such a horrendous experience. It was also shocking to hear from fellow passengers that this isn’t an isolated incident. Apparently, this has been happening for quite some time. SpiceJet’s recurring delays, poor communication, and lack of customer support have become the norm. We were left feeling powerless, stranded in a foreign country with no real help or concern from the airline that we trusted with our travel plans. This experience was not just a minor inconvenience—it was a complete disruption of our lives and plans. I urge anyone considering SpiceJet to think twice before booking. No one should have to go through what we did, and no airline should be allowed to treat its passengers with such blatant disregard. Please don’t go to this trap . I bought tickets for my parents for a round trip and to change the departure date I had been calling them for a month but they bn given false reassurance and telling me it will be done and their support stuff will call me .but I did not get any call . Then I keep calling and was getting the same response again and again . One night before the departure they told me that new ticket had bn issued and it will be emailed within 2-3 hours . But nothing was there !! And when called them back they started given me same story that support team will contact you . It was my worse journey so far with any travel company. Pls don’t don’t waste your time and money to them . Felt I got betrayed by them . I am regretting buying so expensive tickets by them …

Beware of Scammers! I was sold four tickets for a flight that didn’t even exist with the airline, costing me over $4,000. Afterward, they informed me that the flight was unavailable and told me to cancel and request a refund. It took over a week and countless emails to finally get my money back. On top of all the hassle, they charged a $100 service fee! They took my money instantly, held it for a week, and then deducted a service fee for absolutely nothing. This was not a service—just a scam and a major inconvenience.

"I'm sounding the alarm on MakeMyTrip after a disastrous experience! On August 2, 2024, I booked three tickets (Booking ID: NN2A97OA95380161741) worth ₹1,14,530.39, but never received my e-tickets despite waiting 1.5 hours. After that they told me that my ticket has been failed and we will get full refund .Despite promises of a 4-hour refund, I've received nothing after over a week of follow-up calls, which were met with excruciating hold times and disconnected calls. I've provided evidence, including screenshots and a recording of my conversation with customer support. This ordeal has been mentally harassing, showcasing MakeMyTrip's poor customer service and unprofessional behavior. Beware of failed bookings and unfulfilled refund promises! I demand an immediate refund, compensation for mental harassment and time wasted, and improved customer service. Now they told me that you will not getting any kind of refund. They will make you fool and holding your calls on hold. I WANT MY REFUND ON AN URGENT BASIS.
