This is a nice Mom and Pop Hotel. A husband and wife couple run it. They are nice and gracious people. Room is large. It is clean and well maintained. Check in/Check out time is 9. 30 am, If you reach earlier, you might have to wait till existing guest vacates room (Plan accordingly). One very good feature is that they allow you to keep your baggage there for half a day after you check out for Free. For example I came on Saturday morning and stayed still sunday morning. I check-out sunday morning and left my bag at their counter. I spent sunday also sightseeing Hampi. On sunday evening I picked my bag and went to board bus for journey back to my city. The main attraction in Hampi is Virupaksha Temple. Next to this temple is a small area of 200 meter by 200 meter which is full of small Lakshmi Heritage Tourist Home | Rooms & Guided Trekss, restaurants, souvenir shops etc. This is the best place to stay in Hampi and it is also more expensive. This Lakshmi Heritage Tourist Home | Rooms & Guided Treks is in this good area and the day's rent was Rs 2000. It is pleasant to walk the streets in this small area at night, it has a touristy atmosphere with tourists and shops and cafes. At the edge of this area is the Tungabhadra river (only about 100 meter wide). A ferry can take you across and in dry season it can be walked across. The other side of river has many more Lakshmi Heritage Tourist Home | Rooms & Guided Trekss at around half the rate. You would have to spend 30-40 minute in morning and evening to come from that side to here. Plus when you come in with luggage it will take a bit of physical effort to carry it. On the cons, for hot water to bathe, you have to tell the owner. It is not always present in tap. The first thing you notice is that all houses have been converted either into homestays or restaurants. We arrived early and were moved to the New Lakshmi Heritage guest house, which is the new adjunct. A little removed from the main building, but it gives you the privacy and peace you want. The room was clean, fresh sheets, pillows and tidy - amidst a rural setting. It's very close to the Virupaksha Temple as well as the river side. Great choices to watch the sun set or rise. There is a bike shop nearby, for rent. Eateries are stone's throw away. Make note that the Lakshmi Heritage Tourist Home | Rooms & Guided Treks does not provide drinking water, and that might be the case with all the Lakshmi Heritage Tourist Home | Rooms & Guided Trekss and guest houses in Hampi. For that matter, even restaurants don't serve water with your meal. The family who runs the place is helpful, and generally nice people. Not intrusive at all. They offered to help us get to Hospete when our pick-up van ditched us. (That is another thing travelers need to be wary of. Buses apparently do that. They also agreed to let us keep our luggage behind since our bus was late in the night. Also, there is WiFi available and hot water 24X7. Value for Money and Comfortable stay at Hampi

Check-in time is 9:30 am, but we reached around 7 am and the caretaker happily entertained our early check-in request. Hampi is a village, and by that standard, the rooms here are simple and comfortable. Clean rooms, bathroom with solar powered hot water were provided. I would recommend booking an AC room (Deluxe) as the heat in Hampi becomes unbearable, especially around noon and if you are allotted a room on the top floor here. Lakshmi heritage has two properties, about 100 m away from each other and we were allotted a room in the older property. According to the owners, both properties are similar. The location of Lakshmi Heritage tourist home is convenient, as this side of the Tungabhadra river has the main attractions in Hampi. This tourist home is very closely located to restaurants like Mango Tree and Gopi Rooftop which are decently priced and serve good quality food, and Mango Tree serves different cuisines which are a must try at Hampi.

Budget hotel with good maintenance

I and my friend went last month to Hampi and we booked the best deal in makemytrip. Lakshmi Heritage home is located near the virupaksha temple(5 min walk from the temple). Also, the Tungabhadra river was adjacent and nearby. The room was clean and decent. The washroom was also decent. The only concern was the AC water was leaking inside after running the AC for a couple of hours. Never open doors during 3-4:30 in the evening, there are lot of monkeys wandering and they bang on doors, windows. The owner lady was very friendly in providing more information about Hampi and her husband was also very helpful in fixing any issues with the room/hot water and they were welcoming. Close proximity to all major attractions in Hampi

Laxmi heritage is strategically located in Hampi. Very close to Verupaksha temple Hampi bazar. The host or the attended was warm and welcoming. Served us amazing coffee whenever asked for. The rooms were big, spacious and clean. The place is situated in Janata plots. We don't need to take any ferry to visit any major attractions. Good food places like mango tree are close by. That is a must visit for lunch and as many meals as you can. Also you can walk to Hampi bazar, the monolithic bull, Krishna temple from here in no time. The coracle boat rides from Verupaksha temple as also at a short walks distance from here. The boat ride is a must do while visiting Hampi. My visit to Hampi was made and this place made it possible !!

But then there are soo many such guest houses within walking distance from the bus stand and the temple. Room need to be a bit better for stay with family.. For single or bachelors it's fine... It's tough to find out anyone if or when needed. A table fan in a room worth 2000 bucks oh common. Roo was pretty clean.. A good place for solo traveller for sure, it's easy to find them, also they are very nice. Its a small establishment, with the essential facilities only, ac/ non AC, hot Bath, they will not be providing with the towels/ soap all that, so you have to carry that, also there is no food at the premises, but there are many outlets around who cater to it. Check in time is strictly 9:30am, As I had reached at 6:30am, there were no rooms free and had to keep my bags and explore till the time stated. When I returned my bags were in the room and kept ready for me. Perfect stay. Thank you.

Memories stay with us forever! Similarly our stay with Laxmi Heritage was a memorable experience. The service was very prompt. Mr. Kiran was always available to take care of our requirements. He was an amazing host. He also helped us plan out our sightseeing. We stayed there for 2 nights. Also, since it's location is very close to many sightseeing places it gets booked really quick so be prompt enough. It is just 20 steps away from mango tree. This is village behind the temple and this area is the heart of the Hampi heritage site, the small restaurant is available there, prices are cheaper, the owner is very polite and friendly, we cant expect more than that because Hampi is located a very remote area, the overall experience is very good

Booked this place in a December and got this place after searching a lot as it was a holiday season. Reasonable price considering the property. Looked comfy and homely. But due to some issues in the room booked we were not able to stay in that room. Since no other room was available, the owners were kind enough to give us more comfortable alternate room in a house. Though we were disappointed with the room ( was a one time issue we were extremely happy with the owners who didn't give a chance.

We choose the Air-Conditioning room and it is well worth the money to have at least one room that is a little cooler than the hot outside. Non of the restaurants have AC in Hampi.

Circled by a picturesque chestnut forest, Aul Tkhagapsh is surrounded by many visually-arresting natural landmarks – a mysterious rock formation called “the canyon of a hundred crying eyes”, beautiful waterfalls with organically formed stone basins and the Tiger cave, which is called so because of the whimsical clay dripstones. Despite its tiny size, the village itself has a lot to offer. You can see the only wooden mosque on the coast, learn about the customs and traditions of the Adyghe people, try on traditional clothes and taste authentic food and local wines.

If you love picturesque ancient ruins put the Loo Temple on your must-see list. Drowning in the lush greenery of the Sochi National Park, Loo Temple is the remains of a 10th-century Byzantine temple, that’s been ruined and reconstructed multiple times. The temple was used as a place of worship and a fortification over the years.

Aibga Ridge

This spectacular mountain ridge stretches for 23 kilometers and has the Rosa Khutor Alpine Resort nestled at its feet. The ridge comprises of 10 peaks, with the four tallest being the best known: Aigba peak I (2391 m), peak II (2450,5 m), peak III (2462,7 m) and Black Pyramid (2375,3 m). Save a day or two to explore the ridge, full of rapid rivers, alpine meadows and waterfalls.

Achepsinskie Waterfalls

To admire the spectacular views that Achepsinskie Waterfalls offer, you’ll have to endure a pretty tiring trekking route through the Achishkho Mountain to the Achipse River. But those striking panoramas are totally worth the sweat and while the trekking may be tough going, it has a very decent infrastructure.

Khmelevskie Lakes

Located almost 2000 meters above sea level, Khmelevskie Lakes is an alpine lake system, named after the Russian botanist Vikenty Khmelevsky. Spread around emerald-green alpine meadows and surrounded by lush green forests, there are four rather sizable overgrown lakes and a few smaller ones.

Lake Kardyvach

Arguably the most popular tourist spot near Sochi, Lake Kardyvach is simply breathtaking. Situated 44 kilometers from the Krasnaya Polyana resort at the altitude of 1838 meters, the lake stays frozen for seven to eight months a year and even in summer the water temperature is never hotter than 12℃. The water in the lake changes its color depending on the time of year: in spring it turns green and in autumn it becomes dark blue, and no matter what season, it’s unbelievably clear. Akhshtyrskaya Cave

A unique monument of prehistoric architecture, Akhshtyrskaya Cave is set on the right side of Akhshtyrskaya Gorge, about 120m above the Mzymta River and 185m above sea level. The cave begins with a 20m corridor and then gets divided into two halls, 10m and 8m wide. The cave has been heavily explored by archaeologists, who discovered traces of Neanderthal culture dating back to 40,000 BC.

Possible introduction of electronic visas in Krasnodar Krai

According to the Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, the possibility of introducing electronic visas for foreign visitors of Krasnodar Krai, similar to those existing in the Kaliningrad region and on the territory of the Free Port of Vladivostok, is being considered now.

“Electronic visas are new for us, we are familiarizing with them. The government decided to introduce electronic visas on the territories of the Free Port of Vladivostok and the Kaliningrad Region as an experiment which starts soon. As soon as we learn this form of work and understand how much our foreign partners are ready to act on the basis of reciprocity, we will consider your appeal”, – Sergei Lavrov said at a meeting with the governor of the Krasnodar region Veniamin Kondratiev.

The introduction of electronic visas in Krasnodar Krai aims to increase the inbound tourist flow and to attract foreign investors to the region. According to V. Kondratiev, Krasnodar region actively cooperates with foreign investors: there are about 300 enterprises with foreign capital which turnover is 9 billion dollars in the region. Krasnodar Krai is also a popular tourist region where about 15 million tourists annually rest, 6% of them are foreign citizens. This year, Krasnodar Krai also hosted a ministerial meeting with German Minister of Foreign Affairs Sigmar Gabriel and a conference of partner cities of Russia and Germany.

According to the governor of the region, the introduction of electronic visas will help to create a favorable climate for attracting tourists and foreign partners. As noted Sergei Lavrov, the Russian Foreign Ministry will shortly hold a presentation of Krasnodar Krai which will attract additional investors and help strengthen relations with foreign partners in the region.
