Peter Kay announces more tour dates: Here are the venues and sale date so you don’t miss out

Peter Kay’s been on top of the world since he finally returned to the spotlight after a years-long break, and his current comedy tour proves just that. As fans of the English comedian will remember, he famously canceled his standup gigs in 2017 to be with his family and was rarely seen in the media after that. Well, whatever happened, we’re glad he’s in a better place now and is performing once again!

His fans were absolutely thrilled when the 49-year-old Car Share star announced a comeback tour this year, and it looks like he seriously underestimated his popularity because the shows have been selling out left and right! In November in anticipation of his gigs, fans went to the O2 Priority site to purchase pre-sale tickets, but were super frustrated when the site crashed! That forced Kay to add more tour dates , and now, he’s done the same thing again!

This is great news for fans who have still been unable to nab tickets to see the one and only Peter Kay on stage in the flesh. So here’s what you need to know if you’re in that boat.

How to buy Peter Kay comedy tour tickets

According to the site Planet Radio , Kay’s tour began in early December 2022 and is now already scheduled to run through 2025! He’s added a handful of shows in the UK through November 2025. See the newly-announced shows below:

  • Sunday, January 29, 2023: Glasgow’s OVO Hydro
  • Monday, January 30, 2023: Newcastle’s Utilita Arena
  • Friday, October 6, 2023: Birmingham’s Utilita Arena
  • Friday, November 17, 2023: Sheffield’s Utilita Arena
  • Saturday, December 2, 2023: Manchester’s AO Arena
  • Friday, December 15, 2023: Leeds’ First Direct Arena
  • Thursday, March 20, 2025: London’s The O2
  • Monday, October 6, 2025: Nottingham’s Motorpoint Arena
  • Saturday, October 22, 2025: Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena

To purchase tickets to see Kay in his newly-added shows, they go on sale this Sunday, December 11 at 10:00 a.m.

The funnyman ensured fans everywhere would find out that he's going back on tour by announcing the news during an advert in the launch of I'm A Celebrity 2022 .

In the comedy sketch Peter can be seen carrying a roll of carpet to a bungalow, when a man in a van says, "Look it's Peter Kay" before yelling "Ey, Garlic Bread!"  - an iconic catchphrase used by the comedian.

It catches his attention and Peter replies, "Hey, it's the future lads."

The man asked, "Hey when you back on tour?" and Peter reveals, "Next month."

"Where can I get my tickets?" the man asked.

"They go on sale on Saturday" he replied.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour went live on Thursday 10 November, as O2, Virgin Media and Three users were offered access two days early.

However, many hoping to get their hands on tickets were left disappointed as the huge demand left many unable to access the apps and websites offering pre-sale tickets.

O2 and Virgin said, "Please be patient; this is by far the highest demand we've ever seen for priority tickets in 15 years. The presale lasts for 48h so keep checking." Meanwhile, Three said, "We're seeing a huge demand for Peter Kay tickets and we're aware many of you can't access the Three + app this morning. We're working on it as fast as we can!"

Peter Kay posted an apology on behalf of SJM concert on Twitter , which read: "SJM Concerts would like to reassure customers that substantial provision has been put in place for the main ticket on-sale this Saturday 12th at 10am. Plenty of tickets will be available throughout the day so please persevere and please buy from official ticket outlets."

In response to the demand, new dates were added in cities including Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham.

In 2010, Kay set a world record for the biggest-selling stand-up comedy tour, playing to more than 1.2 million people, it it's looking like he could now break his own record with his new tour.

Why did Peter Kay cancel his last tour?

Peter Kay cancelled his last tour in 2017 due to "unforseen family circumstances", which led him to be largely absent from the spotlight ever since.

He was due to perform at a planned 14-month, 100-show stand-up tour, but he announced the sad news that it was cancelled on his website, where he apologised to fans who had bought tickets, insisting it "wasn't a decision he had taken lightly."

At the time, the full statement read: "Due to unforeseen family circumstances I deeply regret that I am having to cancel all of my upcoming work projects. This unfortunately includes my upcoming stand-up tour, Dance For Life shows and any outstanding live work commitments.

"My sincerest apologies. This decision has not been taken lightly and I’m sure you’ll understand my family must always come first. I’ve always endeavoured to protect my family’s privacy from the media. I hope that the media and the public will continue to respect our privacy at this time. Once again I’m very sorry."

He briefly returned to the stage during his Dance for Life tour that came to the Manchester Central Convention Complex, but this has to be postponed due to the Coronavirus pandemic and was later rescheduled in 2022.

Where does Peter Kay live?

Peter Kay still lives in his hometown of Farnworth, in Lancashire with his wife Susan Gargan, who he married back in 2001. The couple have three children together - teenage son Charlie, and two younger children who have been shielded from the public eye.

Peter and his wife are directors of Goodnight Vienna Productions, which co-produces his comedy shows.

Kay will begin his tour on December 2 at the Manchester AO Arena before visiting locations including Birmingham, Liverpool, Sheffield, Belfast, Newcastle, Glasgow and Dublin. His run will end on August 11 2023 at the Sheffield Utilita Arena.

Following the announcement, Kay’s official website appeared to crash briefly under increased online traffic. A poster for the event featured Kay holding a sign reading, “Better late than never” and described a ticket to his shows as an “ideal Christmas gift”.

Comedian Peter Kay

Kay returned to the stage in August 2021 for two special charity events to raise money for Laura Nuttall, a then 20-year-old with an aggressive type of brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme.

There was also a brief return in January 2021 when he appeared on BBC Radio 2 to chat to Cat Deeley – who was filling in after Graham Norton left the station – about his love of music, mixtapes and the musical Mamma Mia. He also made a surprise appearance at a charity screening of his series Car Share in 2018.

Kay cancelled his last tour in December 2017, citing “unforeseen family circumstances”. Over the last few years, Kay has delighted fans with his hit Bafta-winning TV series Car Share and stand-up routines.

Tickets are already making their way onto ticket reselling websites less than an hour after early access started. We have seen tickets for both the original Birmingham dates appear on Viagogo.

For the Utilita Arena show on December 17 two tickets are already priced at £1,036 each! Just crazy prices!

Most expensive on the website currently for the March date at Resorts World Arena are listed as £531 each.

People are starting to get through on O2 Priority

Seems like someone's O2 app is working though....

Just got 6 tickets for Peter Kay’s new tour! Thanks o2 priority! First time I’ve ever used the app — Harvey Elliot Fan Club (@libpool1892) November 10, 2022

Anyone managed to get on O2 Priority yet?

We keep trying through the app - but still nothing!

A Virgin Media O2 statement has been issued

Virgin Media O2 has sent BirminghamLive an updated statement in relation to the pre-sale tickets for Peter Kay.

A Virgin Media O2 spokesperson said: “We’ve seen unprecedented levels of visitors to our Priority platform for Peter Kay tickets. As a result, some customers are experiencing difficulties trying to use the app and website despite us putting additional resource in place to help cope with such demand.

"We apologise and we’re doing everything we can to get it back up and running as soon as possible.”

O2 say it is "highest demand" they have seen in 15 years

O2 say the pre-sale is the "highest demand" they have seen for Priority tickets in 15 years. They have urged customers to be patient - adding that the pre-sale lasts for 48 hours.

Their statement said: "We’re seeing unprecedented demand for Peter Kay tickets & we know a lot of you can’t access Priority. Sorry, we’re working on it.

"Please be patient; this is by far the highest demand we’ve ever seen for Priority Tickets in 15 years. The presale lasts for 48h so keep checking."

PRE-SALE TICKETS ARE LIVE NOW

But shame the O2 app still isn't working hey? Let us know if you get through!

Less than 5 minutes to go....

And we still can't get onto O2 Priority - can you? The Three presale seems to be coping with demand - but it doesn't include any of the Birmingham shows.

O2 haven't issued any further updates apart from to say they were experiencing "extraordinary demand".

If you miss out on early access tickets...

Ticket prices (if we can get them)

After he first announced the tour, Peter Kay revealed he would be keeping the cost of tickets low due to the cost of living crisis. He added that tickets would start from £35 - in line with his 2010 tour ticket prices.

He said: "It’s good to get back to what I love doing best, stand-up comedy and if there’s ever a time people need a laugh it’s now. And with the cost of living at an all-time high, ticket prices are starting from £35. The same price they were on my previous tour in 2010."

See Tickets - which will release tickets as part of the general sale on Saturday - has set price brackets at £41.25, £57.75 and £74.25 for the Utilita Arena show on December 17. A Peter Kay Live - Best Seat Ticket Package which includes a top price seated ticket, limited edition gift, show programme and VIP laminate and lanyard costs £151. All prices include booking fee.

O2 responds to problems with early access tickets

O2 have taken to Twitter to say they are "seeing extraordinary demand for Peter Kay". They have asked fans to be patient.

Their full tweet said: "We’re seeing extraordinary demand for Peter Kay. We know customers are struggling to get on to our Priority website and app before 10am, we're working on it. Please be patient, thank you."

How to prep for general sale on Saturday

As we've seen the demand boom for Peter Kay today it's only bound to get busier on the general sale this Saturday.

General starts this November 12 at 10am and tickets can be bought from SeeTickets and Ticketmaster . Here's a few tried and tested tips to get ahead of the online ticket queues.

Tips for getting Peter Kay tickets:

  • Join the waiting room at 09:45
  • Join the queues on as many sites as possible, multiple borwsers and on more than one device
  • Phone apps, like Ticketmasters app are often quicker
  • Be cautious of demand based tickets - the more people online the more the prices will rise
  • If you miss out on tickets only buy tickets through official resale platforms
  • Know when to refresh - before queue starts is good but NOT once you have joined queue

Be back soon

We're taking a short break from the blog and will be back soon with more updates.

Fans are having issues getting accessible tickets on pre-sale

Accessible tickets are reserved for fans in wheelchairs, accompanied by a carer or need extra assistance accessing the venue. Fans can get a carer for free if they buy one accessible ticket (which are usually same price as general seating).

In general sales these tickets are listed but not all fans have been able to find themduring today's pre-sale. According to O2 Priority's website the accessible tickets vary depending on the venue and the different layout but we've seen fans have issues on Three and O2.

@sseairtricity @SSEBelfastArena and @TicketmasterIre can you please help me understand why it was not possible to buy #accessible tickets for @peterkay_co_uk in the presale this morning? The option just wasn’t available and I was on before 10am. Thank you #DisabilityTwitter pic.twitter.com/LWkUvrfOVK — Mary-Elaine McCavert (CP&M-E) she/her (@MaryEMcCavert) November 10, 2022

Another update for O2 Prioirty users

There still seems to be issues accessing the pre-sale ticket codes on the app, we've tried and it still isn't loading.

Both Virgin Media and O2 phone network users should have been able to buy tickets through O2 Priority today.

Disgraceful made over 190 phone calls to the accessible line to get my son a wheelchair ticket Peter Kay his hero ! Also in the priority waiting room since 08.30 crashed sight as big companies yet again have the monopoly of the seats!! New dates added to Manchester

There's also been a handful of new dates added to Manchester's show lineup on SeeTickets and Ticketmaster .

Fans can get pre-sale tickets today for the December 2 and 3 shows but seven more dates will be available to buy in the general sale this Saturday.

Fingers crossed for more Newcastle dates.

// JUST ANNOUNCED @peterkay_co_uk confirms SEVEN new roll dates for @AOArena - 22 & 23 September, 19 & 20 October, 5 & 6 November and 1 December 2023! Tickets will be available from 10AM Saturday 12 November. https://t.co/iemwrTORZm pic.twitter.com/n8Xa6Nl4wJ — AO Arena (@AOArena) November 10, 2022

New dates confirmed for other venues

Four new dates have been added to Birmingham's list of shows at the Utilita Arena.

Peter Kay will now play six shows in the city in December, March, June, July and August, you can see the full new dates on SeeTickets.

No new dates have been added to Newcastle's Utilita Arena just yet.

Could another pre-sale be on the cards?

Could there be another pre-sale option added?

With so many issues today and thousands missing out on tickets could another pre-sale option be added? Other arena tours this year have sometimes included up to five different pre-sale options from American Express, different venue pre-sales for each region and even Spotify.

How to get pre-sale tickets on Gigs and Tours?

We've recieved a lot of questions as to how fans managed to buy pre-sale tickets on Gigs and Tours.

Although not originally down as a pre-sale ticket retailer it seems some fans are having success in today's sale so it's only worth a try.

  • Refresh, refresh and refresh
I googled O2 Priority Peter Kay and the venue I wanted and used that link. It brought the error page up but a lot of refreshing and the venue page came up eventually with the link to Gigs and Tours and in I went. — Chris O'Keeffe (@8chrisOKeeffe8) November 10, 2022

Fans outraged by £900+ tickets

The resale prices are astronomical.

One fan tweeted: "How are Peter Kay tickets already on resale for £900+? It's a joke. Should of not allowed resale"

Another fan shared a reaction to what seems to be an increased number of 'bot' fans this morning.

@peterkay_co_uk @TheO2 #peterkay @axs Already tickets on resale site @viagogo for WAAAAY over the odds #StopTheBots pic.twitter.com/jsGgtbJQ8t — Dean Heckley (@DeanHeckley) November 10, 2022

Re-sale tickets going for £900

Again 'fans' trying to make profit are at it again as resale tickets are starting to be listed.

It happened with Harry Styles, Coldplay and almost every other major ticket annoucement this year as people try to make a profit off desperate fans.

Prices are already being listed on Viagogo for more than £900 PER TICKET!

Other ticket sales?

With pre-sale proving to be difficult today there's still another sale date this week.

General sale starts this Saturday, November 12 on SeeTickets and Ticketmaster but as queues reach high numbers today fans will have to be quick.

Ticket queue tips

  • Joining the waiting room can boost your space in the queue - opens 15 minutes before each sale on Ticketmaster
  • Refreshing your browser before joining the queue can be beneficial but NOT once you have joined
  • Join on more than one device and for more than one date
  • Be flexibile with venues

There's some ticket success

Even with the app glitches some fans have been able to buy tickets this morning.

An update from O2

The sheer number of people trying to get tickets is causing tech issues on the O2's app.

We’re seeing unprecedented demand for Peter Kay tickets & we know a lot of you can’t access Priority. Sorry, we’re working on it. Please be patient; this is by far the highest demand we’ve ever seen for Priority Tickets in 15 years. The presale lasts for 48h so keep checking. — O2 (@O2) November 10, 2022

What's the queue looking like?

There's currently 5,674 people in the online queue for the two Newcastle shows.

We're expecting this number to rise as the mobile app issues are resolved, whatever you do don't refresh the browser otherwise you'll lose your place.

Pre-sale tickets are LIVE

You can now buy tickets on Ticketmaster, as the pre-sale queue has opened.

Join the online queue here

Three users struggling to get onto app

Three users are also having issues getting on to pre-sale.

Fans have quoted this when trying to get onto the app:

'Connection closed before full header received'

With four minutes to go we just hope the tech issues will all resolve. For fans struggling to get on we suggest keep refreshing the app or maybe try joining on another device

Join now to get ahead in the queue

There's not long to go now, 10 minutes, which means Ticketmasters waiting room is now open.

This is an additional holding space which lets you can join and when the queue opens at 10am you will automatically be placed in the queue. It gives you a chance to open up another tab, have a think about where you want to sit and of course calmes the nerves just a little bit.

Join Ticketmasters waiting room, here.

Choose your spot in the crowd

Peter Kay will stand up in Newcastle on March 9 and 10 2023 at the Utilita Arena.

Pre-sale will start in just 15 minutes time, but before it does it could be worth having a look at the stadium layout. As thousands are expected to rush on to buy tickets your wanted tickets may go quicker than expected.

Confirmed ticket prices

Peter Kay confirmed himself that tickets will start from £35, keeping prices as low as possible with the cost of living.

Prices have now been confirmed for the Newcastle shows which start from as little as £35 but rise to as much as £135. Other seated ticket prices range between £50 and £65. Due to ticket sites 'demand based pricing systems' the lowest £35 tickets could rise as more people flock to online queues.

Tickets go on sale at 10am, on Ticketmaster or SeeTickets .

How to get pre-sale tickets with Three

There's just over half an hour to go until the pre-sale starts on Ticketmaster and SeeTickets.

Fans with Three Mobile are able to buy tickets early as long as they have access to the Three+ mobile app. On here you can get a uniqe Peter Kay access code, which has to be entered in on Ticketmaster or SeeTickets to enable you to buy tickets today.

It's a fairly simple process, just ensure you keep an eye out for your access code and save it. To avoid invalidating the code make sure you buy the tickets first time as soon as you reach the front of the queue.

O2 Priority issues

Pre-sale tickets should be available for fans with O2 Prority or Three Mobile but it seems issues have already started.

A lot of fans are having difficulties getting onto O2 Priority as the app experiences technical issues just 45 minutes before tickets go on sale.

Newcastle shows and full UK tour dates

Peter Kay's tour is split over the end of this year and next year, as he takes to a new city every couple of weeks. The comedian will stand up to Newcastle crowds on Thursday, March 9 and Wednesday March 10 2023 at the Utilita Arena.

But as anything goes with live ticket sales we'd always reccommend fans have another venue and date in mind just in case of a sell-out show.

Peter Kay talks to Zoe Ball: 'I should only be on the news if I'm dead!'

Comedian Peter Kay has revealed he will perform a monthly residency at London's O2 arena, starting on 16 December until 18 November 2023.

It follows this week's announcement of his first UK tour in 12 years , which was lacking any dates in the capital.

Kay has been absent from the spotlight since cancelling his 2017 tour due to "unforeseen family circumstances".

"I thought we should've called this tour Peter Who?" he told BBC Radio 2's Zoe Ball breakfast show on Wednesday.

The 49-year-old Boltonian added that he couldn't believe the original tour announcement - made during the commercial break of the first episode of the new series of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! on Sunday - had made headline news.

"I should only be on the news if I'm dead, not if I'm on tour," he joked.

He thanked fans and said he had been "overwhelmed" by the reaction.

'Me and Prince'

Kay will become the first comedian to be given his own residency at the O2 in Greenwich, which has a capacity of 20,000. He will perform there once a month for almost a year.

"There's basically been me and Prince who have done it and look what happened to him," joked Kay, referencing the US musician's death in 2016.

Prince completed a record 21 consecutive concerts run at the same venue in 2007.

Prince holds the record for the longest residency at London's O2, with 21 consecutive gigs in 2007

"Michael Jackson, he was another, he was supposed to do 50 nights," noted Kay, about the singer who died in 2009 before the start of his planned This Is It residency. "I got his shows," he quipped.

The Phoenix Nights star told Ball he had performed several low key warm-up gigs ahead of the tour already and had a few more coming up.

"No matter who you are, if you're not funny they won't laugh," he said. "I over-analyse it all… but anyway, they've been going well.

"I've done a few - people keep calling them secret gigs but they're not secret. It's first come first served."

Kay said he felt the interest in the new UK and Ireland arena dates, which begin on 2 December at the Manchester AO Arena, was down to the fact ticket prices start at £35 [not including booking fees] - the same price as they were during his 2010 tour.

"You've got to meet people half-way, it's bad times, plus that's why people need a laugh," he said.

"I think that's why it was on the news because it was something happy for once and not doom and gloom.

"I thought it was a nice thing, a bit like when they used to have panda at the end of Newsround with John Craven."

The dates will mark Kay's first live tour since 2010, when he scored the Guinness World Record for the biggest selling stand-up tour of all time, playing to more than 1.2 million people.

The entertainer has kept a low profile in recent years. He notably returned to the stage in August 2021 for two special charity events to raise money for Laura Nuttall, a then 20-year-old with an aggressive type of brain cancer called glioblastoma multiforme.

There was also a brief return in January 2021 when he appeared on BBC Radio 2 for a conversation with Cat Deeley - who was filling in after Graham Norton left the station - about his love of music, mixtapes and the musical Mamma Mia.

He also made a surprise appearance at a charity screening of his series Car Share in 2018.

In Sunday's surprise advert for his new tour, Kay was seen carrying a rolled-up carpet into a house while confirming to nearby fans he will return to stand-up comedy next month.

The advert concluded with the fans asking Kay whether he had finally bought his mother a bungalow - a reference to the comic's previous Mum Wants A Bungalow tour. Kay replied that he had, explaining that his mother now wanted a new carpet to go in it.

Tickets for his tour go on sale at 10:00 GMT on Saturday 12 November with priority tickets going on sale via two mobile phone companies from Thursday.

Roula Khalaf, Editor of the FT, selects her favourite stories in this weekly newsletter.

At least 60 people died and more than 100 were injured after attackers opened fire at a large concert venue in Moscow late on Friday and a blaze took hold of the building.

A minimum of four men dressed in camouflage burst into the Crocus City Hall concert venue on the outskirts of Moscow, where a band called Picnic was due to perform, the Ria state news agency reported, citing one of its reporters, who was a witness.

The shooting was the largest loss of life in a terrorist attack in Russia in at least a decade and recalled the Islamist insurgencies that marked the first decade of president Vladimir Putin’s rule.

Russia’s Investigative Committee, a crimes unit, said more than 60 people died in the attack, adding that the total was likely to rise.

Russia’s national guard said “a search is ongoing” for the attackers. The assailants left the venue in a white Renault, according to state newswire RIA Novosti.

Putin heard reports from the heads of four Russian security agencies on the investigation into the attack, as well as officials in charge of efforts to help the victims, the Kremlin said in a late-night statement.

Earlier Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that the president was informed of the attack “within the first minutes” after it began and was “constantly receiving information about the events and the measures being taken from all the relevant agencies”, according to news agency Interfax. “All the essential instructions have been given by the president.”

News outlets on social media app Telegram posted graphic videos that appeared to show several people being killed by the unidentified men and cited unverified death tolls several times higher than the FSB’s.

Videos from outside the building showed an enormous blaze engulfing the roof, sending smoke billowing out into the night sky.

Officials described the attack as an act of terrorism. Some of them speculated that Ukraine, the country Russia launched a full-scale invasion against two years ago, was responsible, without providing any evidence. Kyiv immediately denied any involvement.

A US official said the US had no reason to doubt a claim from the Isis terror group that it was behind the attack. The FSB recently said it had broken up an Isis cell in Kaluga, a city south-west of Moscow.

Sergey Sobyanin, Moscow’s mayor, said the venue had suffered a “horrible tragedy” and cancelled large-scale public events due to take place this weekend in the Russian capital. People were also evacuated on Friday night from big malls in some other Russian cities over fears of similar attacks.

The US embassy in Moscow said it was “shocked” by news of the attack and expressed “sincere condolences to the Russian people”.

Terror attacks rocked Russia in the 1990s and 2000s, mostly related to two bloody separatist wars in the southern republic of Chechnya, which formed the backdrop to Putin’s rise to power.

Friday’s attack will bring back memories for Moscow residents of the Nord-Ost siege, when Chechen fighters took hundreds of people hostage in a Moscow theatre in 2002, leading to the deaths of more than 170 people.

After Putin’s security services quelled Islamist insurgencies in Chechnya and neighbouring Dagestan, major attacks had largely subsided in the past decade, with the most recent coming in a 2017 suicide bombing in the St Petersburg metro that killed 15 people.

Earlier this month, the US government had information about a planned terrorist attack in Moscow — potentially targeting large gatherings — which prompted the state department to issue a public advisory to Americans in Russia. The US also shared this information with Russian authorities in accordance with its long-standing “duty to warn” policy, according to Adrienne Watson, a spokesperson for the National Security Council.

Six other western countries’ missions issued alerts in early March warning about attacks on public venues, including concerts, in the next 48 hours.

Putin dismissed what he said were “provocative statements” from the western embassies while speaking to Russia’s FSB security service on Tuesday.

“This all recalls outright blackmail and the intention to scare and destabilise our society,” Putin said, fresh from extending his 24-year rule until at least 2030 after last weekend’s presidential elections.

Videos posted on Russian social media after the attack showed men with automatic weapons roaming the lobby of the venue, driving screaming people into a corner, and shooting several of them at point-blank range.

Some people could be seen prostrate on the floor of the lobby, apparently after being shot.

Another video, taken by a concertgoer, showed seats on fire inside the hall, and people trying to flee as automatic fire was heard and smoke filled the room.

“I was in the lobby, I heard machinegun fire, the crowd was running out through the service entrance,” the Russian RBC magazine cited a concertgoer as saying. “There was a crush. Once on the street I heard the machine gun fire again.”

The FSB and Russia’s national guard stormed the building, where the attackers had holed up, according to state media. Videos showed emergency helicopters circling over the flaming roof.

Crocus City Hall is located just outside the perimeter of the Russian capital, and is a big concert venue close to an exhibition centre of the same name that regularly hosts conferences and other events.

The hall can host 6,200 people. Tickets for the concert by Picnic, an older- generation Russian rock band that began performing in 1978, were sold out.
