The upcoming tour marks the first project under the new Scream Nation joint venture between Live Nation and Michael Mauldin, the creator and producer of the Scream Tour brand. Under the Scream Nation banner, a diverse array of shows and tours built around urban music and culture will be produced throughout the year. The last formal Scream Tour took place in 2012.
In a release announcing the joint venture, Mauldin stated, “The Scream Tour first came to prominence in 2001 and has since played an integral part in the discovery and promotion of some of the most successful artists in urban, hip-hop and pop music.” Those artists include Chris Brown, Trey Songz , T.I. , Ciara and Bow Wow .
Added David Zedeck, Live Nation’s executive president of global talent & artist development, “The Scream Tour has long been a powerful brand among urban music fans. Live Nation is proud to extend this incredible experience to a new generation of artists and fans.”
Complementing the forthcoming tour will be an online DJ talent search in January and February, conducted in association with Mad DJ. Prizes include the chance for contestants to be part of the Scream Tour when it hits their respective hometowns.
In recognition of Black History Month (February), tickets for Scream Nation: The Reintroduction Tour go on sale beginning Jan. 30 at www.livenation.com .

Bow Wow Sniffs Out A Trail For Tour With B2K
Bow Wow and B2K have finalized the itinerary for their Scream 2 Tour, which will crisscross the country from the end of July to the end of September.
The ambitious outing — currently boasting 35 dates — will also feature IMX (see [article id="1453258"]"Bow Wow Drops The Lil', Collars Tour Dates"[/article]) and newcomer Jhene, a cousin of B2K's Lil' Fizz who will finish recording her debut album before the tour kicks off July 25 in Memphis, Tennessee, according to Columbia Records.
Bow Wow is supporting Doggy Bag, released in December, and his latest single, "Take Ya Home," though he will also be garnering attention with his star role in "Like Mike," in theaters July 12.
B2K, who joined Bow Wow on last year's Scream Tour (when he was still Lil' Bow Wow) and in his video for "Ghetto Girls," are promoting their self-titled debut album, released in March, and their latest single, "Why I Love You."
The R&B quartet — Lil' Fizz, J-Boog, Raz-B and Omarion — will also release "Introducing B2K," a DVD featuring the "Uh Huh" and "Gots Ta Be" videos along with other footage, on Tuesday.
Before launching the Scream 2 Tour, B2K will open for Destiny's Child on several European dates this summer.

The 237,000-square-foot project blends a modern, Florida-inspired design with sustainable design strategies.
Opened in October 2023, the Jacksonville North VA Clinic & Domiciliary serves Jacksonville, Fla.’s 130,000 veterans.
The facility replaces two outdated VA clinics to consolidate and upgrade services, enhancing primary and mental health care while expanding radiology, optometry, audiology, and specialty services for Jacksonville veterans.
The 193,500-square-foot outpatient clinic features the VA’s Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model of care, offering patient-driven and personalized team-based treatment.
The clinic houses 101 patient rooms, with 12 designated for women and 62 for mental health care. Additionally, a walk-in clinic, imaging services, 2,200-square-foot rehabilitation gym, and six physical therapy patient rooms are included.
Connected by a covered walkway, an adjacent 28,500-square-foot domiciliary provides residential rehabilitation, substance abuse, and mental health services. The residential facility houses 30 beds and 19 resident support rooms.
Hoefer Welker delivers design inspired by Florida’s coastal landscape
The project design, by Hoefer Welker (Kansas City, Mo.), draws inspiration from local rivers, beaches, and the nearby Atlantic Ocean to incorporate soothing water tones and warm, neutral accents.
Specifically, the building’s clinic front façade and interior spaces feature striated metal panels and light-filled atriums. Hallways and departments are named after local rivers for easy wayfinding, reflecting the facility’s commitment to enhancing veterans’ healthcare experience.
The front façade features a pattern of overlapping slot windows and striated metal panels in two shades of copper, echoing the natural striations of sand, waves, and boardwalks along Jacksonville’s rivers. This design element creates a strong, iconic entry silhouette and provides additional shade to the main lobby.
Inside, the lobby and two-story atrium feature wood planks and a soothing palette of blues, greens, and warm sandy colors.
Green Globes certification for sustainability
This project earned two Green Globes certifications for New Construction. Specifically, the project’s building orientation and limited glazing are designed to mitigate solar heat gain, reducing energy use by 28 percent.
Additionally, features such as shaded outdoor treatment spaces at the clinic and domiciliary and resident gardens at the domiciliary provide operational savings and enhance veterans’ health and wellness.

U.S. Open preview: Five-time winner Scottie Scheffler takes his act to Pinehurst No. 2
How to watch the open on tv and who are the players chasing scheffler.
Can anyone derail the Scottie Scheffler Express?
The world's No. 1-ranked player won his fifth tournament last week at The Memorial, the first time since Tom Watson in 1980 that a player has won five times before the U.S. Open.
Scheffler has nearly double the FedEx Cup points of No. 2 Xander Schauffele and is the only player besides Tiger Woods to win the Masters, The Players Championship and The Memorial in the same season. For giggles, he's also won the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the RBC Heritage.
Scheffler will try to win his third major this week in the Open at Pinehurst, and he's been close in each of his previous three Open starts: a tied for seventh in 2021 at Torrey Pines, a tie for second in 2022 at The Country Club and solo third last year at the Los Angeles Country Club.
Scheffler has finished a combined eight strokes off the lead in those three starts.
It's never easy at Pinehurst and there's the usual stout field for a major, including PGA champion Xander Schauffele, four-time major champion Rory McIlroy and two-time major champion Collin Morikawa, who battled Scheffler to the final putt at Muirfield Village last week.
Not to be overlooked is 2020 U.S. Open champion Bryson DeChambeau from LIV Golf.
