I'm not a huge gambler by any means (quarter video poker mostly), but I do play enough to get comped rooms in Las Vegas at Palazzo/Venetian and Wynn/Encore. I've seen that some cruise lines have players clubs in their casinos, which can yield discounts and comps towards free play and future cruises. Do Regent's onboard casinos offer anything like this? Is there anyone with some experience with this?

Not as far as I know, and my husband loves to play blackjack onboard.

Have not been aboard since Covid, but pre-covid, if you used your room card in the slots, you did receive minimal free play back.

Most cruise lines have daily revenue targets with income from the casino accounting for a significant portion, which is why casino activities are actively promoted. On Regent and Oceania, casino income is not a major revenue source, therefore there are fewer perks and rewards.

Sounds like Regent and Oceania will offer a few hundred bucks per cabin off if you play at the level you are describing. If they see you are a pretty active player after a few cruises they may offer discounts at a somewhat higher level, especially if you have losses, but never enough to amount to a free cruise.

There is at least one person who has stayed in the Regent Suite due to their prolific gambling across the NCL lines.   So depending on level of play, you can get some good bonuses.  With Regent they don't seem to highlight the benefits.  Maybe because much of the clientele have deep enough wallets to really put a dent into the casino benefits if they wanted.

New questions about cash for playing:

I see that I can apply for a line of credit on my particular cruise. Will I be given cash if I take out a marker, or will they just post credits to my players' club account?

If I don't have a line of credit and charge to the room for some money to use in the casino, same question: will they give me cash, or just add credits to my players' club account?

Can onboard credit (that was awarded as a perk during booking the cruise) be used in the casino?

You can  not use on board credit in the casino.

It  cost more to charge to the room.

If you don’t have a line of credit and get cash from the casino, the amount you get goes on your ship board account plus a 3% fee. Casino purchases, such as entry to the blackjack tournament and cash from the casino, appear on your shipboard account and will not offset non-refundable credit.   

There are a couple of other things you can do to get cash available on the ship. First, each passenger is entitled to get $400 cash from the purser for each cruise. Second, you can use the gift order form found at the bottom of the Regent website to send yourself cash. When you send yourself cash, it is placed on your account as refundable credit, and there is no additional fee to take out the cash although there may be a daily limit on how much you can get.

If you play at higher limits the casino mgr will waive the 3 per cent fee for charging to the room. Also, IME even though on board credit is not supposed to be usable for casino play, I have found that when I take cash out to play by charging to my room, the on board credit ends up being applied to the cash, so I actually end up using it to play in the casino.

I do not remember the nature of the credit.

Dave, could you please explain how we get the $400 from the purser?   Just go to him and ask for the $400 cash pp to be charged to our room?   And there will be no 3% charge?   Thanks.

Kathy, just go to Reception/Purser to request the cash. Regent calls this a cash advance but it is not like a credit card cash advance which begins accruing interest immediately. The amount you take out is added to your account balance just like other purchases on the ship. After your cruise ends, Regent bills your credit card company a single amount as though you made one purchase. There is no fee to get the cash from the Purser.

A couple of things to be aware of. The $400 cash will not offset any non-refundable shipboard credit you might have and there may be a limit on how much cash you can get per day. If that is the case, a couple could just take the cash on two consecutive days.

No, you get the cash.  It is how to get miles for "ATM" withdrawals.  I always take lots of cash home.

Good way to rack up those miles! I assumed they're categorized as TRAVEL? I get 3x Chase Ultimate Rewards points with my Reserve card.

Cruise ship casinos: Everything you need to know about gambling at sea

Cruise ship casino gambling is a big deal to some cruisers. You know how you often hear people on a cruise ship planning their day around the entertainment, tours and mealtimes? Last night, I eavesdropped on a conversation where a group of six people was planning their entire next day around time in the ship's casino.

For other cruisers, the casino is more of an onboard curiosity than anything else. What are all those table games? Do people actually win money — or free cruises — playing in cruise ship casinos?

If you're curious, I've compiled answers to the most common questions people ask about cruise ship casinos. Some of the answers may surprise you.

Do all cruise ships have casinos?

Most large, mainstream cruise ships have casinos, including the ships of Carnival Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, MSC Cruises, Holland America, Norwegian Cruise Line (other than Pride of America), Celebrity Cruises, Princess Cruises and Virgin Voyages.

Specialty cruise lines like Disney Cruise Line, Paul Gauguin and most expedition cruise ships do not have casinos. Premium cruise lines Oceania Cruises and Cunard have casinos, while Viking, Azamara and Windstar Cruises do not. (Windstar and Azamara actually removed casinos from their ships and repurposed the space.)

Among the luxury cruise lines, Silversea and Seabourn have casinos on their non-expedition ships; Regent Seven Seas has casinos on all its ships. Smaller luxury ships like those belonging to Ponant, Ritz-Carlton, Scenic and Emerald do not have casinos. River cruise lines do not have casinos on board, even on U.S. rivers where "riverboat" gambling is reserved for casino boats, not river cruise ships.

Are cruise casinos open in port?

With a few exceptions, cruise casinos are not open while ships are in port. They are generally limited to operating while the ship is in international waters. This is why Norwegian's Pride of America doesn't have a casino. Since the ship cruises exclusively in Hawaii, it never leaves U.S. waters.

Cruisers are also often surprised to learn that the casino is closed on some nights during Alaska cruises . Cruises that sail from Victoria, British Columbia, to Seattle on the final night are a good example. The ship goes straight from Canadian waters to U.S. waters without ever reaching international open waters, so the casino closes the night before arrival in Victoria and does not reopen during the cruise.

Ports that currently allow the cruise lines to operate their casinos while the ship is in port include Bermuda and Malta, which require cruise lines to apply for a gaming license. Bermuda has allowed casino operations for licensed ships between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. since 2013. It's an ideal situation as Bermuda has no land-based casinos, and many cruise ships overnight in port on Bermuda cruises. Malta, which does have land-based casinos, allows ships that have been approved for licenses to open their casinos between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Which casino games are on cruise ships?

Gaming in cruise ship casinos usually includes a mix of slot machines and table games, such as three-card poker, Caribbean stud poker, craps, blackjack and roulette. Regionally popular table games like Texas Hold 'em and pai gow may also be available on some sailings.

Can you win money in a cruise ship casino?

Most cruise ship casino games operate under the same rules and payout percentages you would find in a land-based casino; therefore, the answer is yes, you can win money in a cruise ship casino.

Social media posts and casino announcements would indicate that at least a small handful of people win four- and even occasionally five-figure slot machine payouts on a regular basis. But just as in a land-based casino, it's far easier to lose your stake than it is to win that kind of money.

How many casino points do you need to get a free cruise?

As at land-based casinos, each cruise line offering gambling on board sets its own criteria for earning perks through the line's casino loyalty program or players club. Points are generally tied to the time played and the amount of money you gamble, including the money you win and recirculate.

Much like an airline loyalty program, casino points usually accumulate over a year, earning you better perks as you work toward increasingly higher status levels. Annual free or discounted cruises are one of those perks, often beginning with complimentary (aka comped) inside cabins at relatively low status levels.

Many casinos also let you match casino status from land-based casinos (or even other cruise lines), giving you a leg up. For example, I haven't cruised with Carnival in a while, and I've never played in the line's onboard casinos, but I signed up for the Carnival players club via its Fun Match program. When I registered, I uploaded an offer from a competing cruise line and a players club card from MGM. Now when I log in to Carnival's website, I am shown casino offers that include free and discounted cruises.

Some cruise lines also issue instant awards for the number of points earned (i.e., money spent) on an individual cruise, regardless of status. That would be like an airline awarding free future flights to passengers who spent the most money on their flights, no matter their loyalty status.

Most mainstream cruise lines use comped cruises to fill cabins on dates they anticipate having a surplus of vacancies. These extra offers often appear random, but are generally targeted for marketing purposes rather than as rewards for high amounts of play. New players may receive these comps after low levels of play because cruise lines are always interested in attracting new casino players.

All of that adds up to the possibility of receiving a free cruise for a small number of points earned for cruising, as well as guaranteed free cruises as your points rise to the levels of play set out in the cruise lines' casino loyalty programs.

What is the best casino game to play on a cruise ship?

The best casino game to play on a cruise ship is the one that is most entertaining for you. Ultimately, you play to have fun, right?

The games that require a combination of skill and luck are the ones where the odds of winning are in your favor. For example, the overall odds on blackjack favor the casino by only 1%, while the casino has a 25% edge overall when it comes to slot machines.

Those odds mean the cruise lines operating casinos will favor slot machine players over card players, both in terms of the number of games provided and the loyalty perks awarded.

In summary, for winning money, the best games are skill games. For earning loyalty perks like free cruises, slot machines are the best choice.

Are drinks free in the casino on cruise ships?

Historically, drinks have not been free to cruise ship casino gamblers the way they usually are in land-based casinos. There are exceptions, however.

Free drinks in the casino are a perk of casino loyalty on Royal Caribbean, Carnival, Princess, Holland America and Norwegian Cruise Line. Reach the required level, and you'll earn free drinks from the casino bar, usually for a full status year. Carnival, Princess and Virgin Voyages also often throw in free drinks (either in the casino or throughout the ship) for individual comped cruises. Everyone actively gambling in the casino gets free well drinks on Celebrity cruises.

In addition, drinks are free in the casinos of luxury cruise lines like Silversea, Seabourn and Regent Seven Seas because all onboard drinks are included in the cruise fare. On the big-ship lines, anyone who purchases a drinks package or cruises on a fare that includes drinks will also be drinking "free" in the casino.

Are cruise ship casinos regulated?

Cruise ship casinos are regulated in two ways. They typically adhere to the laws of the ship's country of registry. But because gambling normally only takes place while the ship is in international waters, cruise lines that sail from U.S. ports also adhere to the rules set out by the Cruise Lines International Association. Those rules state that all equipment purchased and installed on the vessels of member cruise lines will meet the regulatory standards of the Nevada Gaming Control Board or other licensed jurisdiction for payback and internal software.

Additionally, house rules must be made available in every casino. Each member cruise line is to post at every gaming table minimum and maximum betting limits for each game, and only adults are allowed to play the slots or the tables.

What's the age minimum to gamble in a cruise ship casino?

The minimum age for gambling in a cruise ship casino is 18 in most cases, but there are exceptions. MSC Cruises has a minimum gambling age of 21 on any cruise with a U.S. port; otherwise, the age is 18. Some cruise lines, including Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, raise the minimum age to 21 on Alaska sailings.

Do ships run casino tournaments?

Cruise ship casinos on mainstream cruise lines often host tournaments on board featuring various casino games. The list includes slot tournaments, as well as card game tournaments for blackjack and Texas Hold 'em.

Some tournaments are invitational, offered to casino loyalty members of a certain level only. These are often held on cruises hosted specifically for players who have reached that level. For instance, Royal Caribbean holds Signature cruises designed to pamper and entertain these top-level players.

Can you smoke in the casino?

Casinos are often seen as the last bastion of cruise ship smoking freedom (beyond small, designated areas on deck). But the number of ships that offer nonsmoking casinos is steadily growing.

Celebrity Cruises does not allow smoking in its ships' casinos, and the relatively small casinos on luxury ships are generally nonsmoking, as well.

Several lines have hybrid options. For example, some Carnival ships have separate smoking and nonsmoking casinos. Norwegian has separate smoking rooms on some ships; however, cigarette smoking and e-cigarette use are allowed in casinos on ships that don't have separate smoking rooms. Princess does not allow smoking except at designated slot machines, and Holland America also has designated smoking areas in the casino.

Do cruise ship casinos take cash?

Cruise ship casinos accept cash at both slot machines and table games. As an example, you can sit down at a slot machine and feed in a $20 bill, which is then converted into "credits" on the machine's screen. The value of the credit depends on the denomination of the machine. Alternatively, you might walk up to a roulette table and lay down $20 and exchange that for chips.

The exchange of cash at machines and tables is a one-way deal, even when you win. Slot machines and dealers in cruise ship casinos don't dispense cash. When you finish playing, you may be issued a paper credit slip to take to the cashier's cage for cash, or you may have your winnings loaded directly onto your onboard account on some cruise lines. At the tables, you will take chips to the cashier to exchange back into cash.

If you don't travel with cash, you can find ATMs in the casino or at guest services. Alternatives to cash in cruise ship casinos are paper credit slips, which can be played as cash at either machines or tables, onboard credit or casino free play loaded on your stateroom account, or lines of credit arranged with the casino.

You can also charge gambling money directly to your onboard account like you would charge a drink at a bar or anything else on board. Fees for gambling charges vary among cruise lines, but in most instances, table games charge a service fee, and slot machines do not.

For example, my husband recently requested money from his onboard account at a blackjack table and was charged a 5% surcharge. The ship we were on was not set up to charge onboard accounts directly from the slot machines (sometimes they are), so I had to go to the cashier for a credit slip to play. I was not charged a surcharge, although if I had asked for cash, I would have been. Both of our charges were added to our final onboard bill.

Because there is no fee added to money for slot play, onboard casinos will usually put rules in place about how quickly you can cash out of the machine. The rules are designed to keep cruisers from using slot machines as ATMs to get either cash for the table games or to cash out onboard credit they've been given from the cruise line or their travel agent.

Bottom line

If you like to gamble, cruise ship casinos provide a fun way to spend a sea day or evening on the ship. You can take lessons to learn the games you don't know how to play and even participate in tournaments.

Besides the fun of playing on board, many cruise lines have players clubs that offer onboard perks and even free cruises. And since the odds of winning are about the same as in a U.S. land-based casino, with similar regulations in place, cruise ship casinos are a safe bet for fun and entertainment — though we always encourage you to play responsibly.

Casino on Mariner?

We are real casino rats - how is the casino and is it open alot? Thanks!

Well, Regent ships are not large and therefore, neither are the casino's. By law (not sure what law), the casino's are closed when the ship is in port. Therefore, on port intensive cruises the casino's are closed until the ship is out of the port. On sea days they are open quite a bit of the time. I'll let someone else report on how the casino is since we tend to be too busy to spend time there:)

We just got off the Mariner, and Travelcat is right...it's small. But we spent many nights there, if only for a few rolls of the dice. The casino has slots on one side, a small (but fully stocked bar) in the middle, and then tables for poker, blackjack, roulette and craps. Great service from both bar and casino employees. It's worth a stop, if not regularly.

Is the poker table a real poker table or an electronic thing? Our last cruise on the mariner the poker table was a weird electronic thing that no one was ever interested in so it never had a single game going.

I not a Casino person, but I have seen, on several cruises, several "bracelet" poker players.

Unlike the larger, mass-market cruise lines, Regent does not operate its own casinos. The casinos are franchised to third-party operators, much like the gift shops and the health spas. Be sure you understand the house rules before you sit down at the blackjack table, as they vary from what you might expect. Bring cash, as it is not really feasible to pre-arrange casino credit.

We love regent and I love the slot machines but the casino leaves a lot to be desired. In fact I am very disappointed in the casino but if the cruise is port intensive I am really too tired to stay up late gambling anyway.

Poker video machines have the worst odds of any casino. Unlike Vegas, there is no competition. The shops have outrageous prices. Enjoy the shows and music and bar conversations.

Linda -- Like you I am also a casino rat and this was one of my biggest concerns the first time I sailed on Mariner (what was I supposed to do to fill my time between 10pm and 1am if not play in the casino? LOL)

The tables are actual tables, with dealers, quite friendly I might add...and they will switch games based on what you all want to play if there is a steady group. You will notice the same 20 or so people who play in the casino whenever it is open (that is what I mean by group) and we found that the Casino manager was willing to make one of the tables either Let It Ride or Black Jack or 3 Card Poker depending on what we all felt like playing.

As far as slot machines, they are OLD OLD OLD and there are only a couple of the newer electronic type that offer bonus games but none of them pay very much although the bonus games do come up quite often.

Video poker, as Nevile mentioned, has terrible odds but no worse than any other casino at sea and I did see Royal Flushes hit more than once on both of my Mariner cruises so it is possible!

I decided I'd answere my own question in case there was anyone else out there who cared. The only poker table is actually three card poker. The electronic Hold ' Em table that was completely unused on my last mariner cruise is gone. There are lots of black jack tables, roulette and craps. And many old slot and video poker machines.

DH and I love to gamble, but prefer poker. If the craps table ever really gets going we may jump in. The casino has been pretty empty any time we have checked it out.

The Regent ships used to have pokertek tables. Live play with an electronic dealer. One Mediterranean cruise in the summer a few years back this was really popular, always people waiting for a seat in the evenings.

Last years Mediterranean cruise I noticed that the table was gone and the casino was a ghost town. Maybe a few people playing blackjack.

I decided I'd answere my own question in case there was anyone else out there who cared. The only poker table is actually three card poker.   The casino has been pretty empty any time we have checked it out.

thank you for clarifying the poker table for us! we were floating in October and had no luck at the slots and I don't understand craps and neither it nor roulette were up anyway. there was only one blackjack table with any players and I turned to stare at the poker game. I thought it was unlike anything I had ever seen. what was the point?

being Regent, everyone was kind and explained what I was seeing so I sat down at the table with just two other players. I played for an hour and walked away up ten dollars! that is pretty amazing for entertainment.

the poker game is largely a no-brainer. absolutely no skill is involved. at least on blackjack, you need to know how to add.

the DH sidled up behind me and stared for awhile and decided to sit down and give it a go. second hand, he was dealt a royal flush. with a payout of 40-1, he won enough to subsidize our gaming the entire cruise. it's just luck ... or not. I sat next to a man who couldn't seem to get any decent cards for two nights.

btw. the Mariner casino is open to the Stars Lounge below and karaoke comes right up the staircase. on our cruise, the noise was hilariously pitiful. on the other hand, if a good song started, our table would join in the yodeling.

Regent cruisers don't seem to be attracted to the casino but it's there and the play is with real money.

Are business services available?

Business equipment is available, including fax machine and copy services. Fax reception is complimentary; fax transmission and ship-to-shore phone calls are available at standard tariffs. For a nominal fee, guests may send or receive e-mail via computers on board. The only Adobe-based software available onboard is Acrobat Reader. Click here for our cellular phone policy .

Are laundry/valet services available?

Yes. All guests will now benefit from FREE Valet Laundry Service during their cruise. Enjoy the luxury and convenience of freshly washed, carefully pressed and folded laundry picked up and delivered to your suite throughout your voyage.

Are there beauty/barber services available?

Beauty salon services and spa services including manicures, pedicures, facials and a variety of spa treatments are available by appointment on all ships. For your convenience, you may reserve your spa treatment by calling Serene Spa & Wellness at 1.877.718.4244 beginning 60 days before your cruise.

Are there special activities for children?

Our Club Mariner program is designed for age groups 5-8, 9-12 and 13-17, and is supervised by specially trained counselors. Club Mariner is available on select sailings only. Please ask your travel professional for details. Guests under the age of 16 are not permitted in the Spa or Fitness Center.

Can I send mail onboard?

Outbound mail service and postage are available on all ships at a nominal charge.

Do you have foreign currency exchange?

Yes, you may purchase certain currency from the reception. All onboard foreign currency exchange transactions will be charged to the guest's onboard account. As we are unable to provide all currencies, most can be found within the ship’s terminal.

What payment types are accepted for deposits and full payments?

American Express, MasterCard, Visa and personal checks are accepted for deposits and full payments. For your convenience, your final payment may be automatically charged to the credit card used to make the initial deposit. Regent Seven Seas Cruises accepts no responsibility for credit card foreign currency/transaction processing fees independently assessed by issuing banks. None of these fees separately charged by the issuing banks accrues to the benefit of Regent Seven Seas Cruises. Third party credit card charges can only be accepted when accompanied by valid authorization to charge from the relevant card owner.

Do you accept travelers checks as a form of payment on board?

Beginning in 2018, we are no longer accepting foreign travelers checks as a form of payment on board. U.S. dollar travelers checks will continue to be accepted on board as a form of payment as well as foreign currency cash.

Do you offer kosher dining options?

Yes, please contact Special Services at least 150 days in advance of your sailing so that we may provide your preferred selections ( view full menu ).

All frozen kosher prepackaged meals are provided by Borenstein Caterers Incorporated. This New York-based company has catered kosher meals for more than 60 years and works under the supervision of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America (the OU). The menu selection includes an assortment of breakfast, lunch, and dinner dishes, with appetizers, soups, side dishes and desserts to choose from, each presented in plastic containers and double wrapped. Additionally, all bread is Pas Yisroel and all dairy products are Cholov Yisroel.

For those guests who are not strictly kosher and would like our chefs to prepare their meals, we have limited quantities of kosher proteins such as veal rack, ribeye steak, lamb rack, turkey breast, whole chicken, and fresh or frozen fish available on board. Please note that the preparation of these proteins will not be according to the rules of kashrut.

We are pleased to serve guests kosher meals, both prepackaged and fresh, exclusively in our elegant Compass Rose restaurant. Once on board, please contact the maître d' of Compass Rose to make dining arrangements.

Do you offer medical services?

Each ship has a licensed and registered doctor and nurse for professional and emergency services, which are available at customary charges. The ships' medical centers are designed to provide medical care for certain temporary illnesses and accidents, and are not intended or capable of providing on-going treatment of pre-existing medical conditions. For guests requiring oxygen equipment, an oxygen concentrator is the only form of oxygen equipment allowed aboard ship, and must be provided by the guest. Regent Seven Seas Cruises' wheelchairs on board are for emergency purposes only.

Do you offer religious services onboard?

Non-denominational services are available onboard when possible.

How can I give someone a gift onboard?

We're delighted to assist you. From chocolate-dipped strawberries to a bottle of Dom Perignon, Regent has a very fine selection of attractively boxed gift items that bear the Regent logo. Click here for a gift form (PDF) .

Is Internet access available?

Wireless access is available throughout the ship, including most suites. Access is provided utilizing satellite communication systems. Service and speed will vary port to port. Please be advised that bandwidth-heavy applications such as Skype, Netflix, YouTube and VPN are not included in our FREE Unlimited WiFi plans.

Additionally, Starlink’s high-speed WiFi is currently available on Seven Seas Mariner® , Seven Seas Grandeur™ and Seven Seas Voyager® , and will be available on every vessel by the end of 2024.

If you are utilizing a mobile device that access the internet via a cellular carrier's network (4G for example) instead of the ship's wireless access, it will be treated as if you were using your cell phone and International roaming charges will apply. Any costs associated will be billed directly through your cell phone provider, and not through the ship. Check www.wmsatsea.com for more information.

Is there shopping onboard?

The ships' boutiques offer a selection of designer fashions, perfumes and Regent Seven Seas Cruises logo items. Toiletries and convenience items are also available for purchase. The boutiques may be closed occasionally while in port due to local government regulations.

Should I tip onboard?

All gratuities are included in your cruise fare except for services from Serene Spa & Wellness ™ .

What is "open seating?"

You can dine whenever, wherever and with whomever you choose during regular dining hours. In some of the alternative restaurants, reservations are required.

What is the dress code onboard the ships?

Attire ranges from Casual to Formal Optional. Casual wear consists of resort-style outfits; some examples are jeans, shorts, t-shirts, and tennis shoes. Casual wear is appropriate for daytime both on board or ashore. Casual wear is not appropriate after 6:00 PM. On the night prior to disembarkation, guests may need to pack their luggage early due to morning flights the next day. With this in mind, on the last night of every voyage, we will relax the dress code for dinner to Casual.

Otherwise, the recommended onboard dress in the evenings is Elegant Casual. Dinner dress for ladies includes a skirt, or slacks with a blouse or sweater, a pant suit or dress; slacks and a collared shirt for gentlemen. Sport jackets are optional. Casual wear is not to be worn at dinner. Ties are not required.

On sailings of 16 nights or more, Formal and Semi-Formal attire is optional on two of the evenings. On the two Formal Optional evenings, guests are welcome to dress as per the elegant Casual dress code or opt for a more formal choice of clothing including gowns and cocktail dresses for ladies; tuxedos, dinner jackets or dark suits with tie for gentlemen.

What is your smoking policy?

For the comfort and safety of all of our Guests, smoking is not permitted in any enclosed dining area, certain public venues, elevators, the Theater, and all suites and balconies, and is only permitted in specific designated smoking areas. The use of electronic cigarettes is allowed within designated smoking areas only.

Cigarette smoking is only permitted in designated areas of the outdoor pool area and the following public rooms: Seven Seas Splendor : Connoisseur Club, Pool area (designated area opposite side of the Pool Bar) Seven Seas Explorer : Connoisseur Club, Pool area (designated area opposite side of the Pool Bar) Seven Seas Voyager : Connoisseur Club, Horizon Lounge (outdoor one side designated area), Pool area (designated area opposite side of the Pool Bar) Seven Seas Mariner : Connoisseur Club, Horizon Lounge (outdoor one side designated area), Pool area (designated area opposite side of the Pool Bar) Seven Seas Navigator : Galileo's (outdoor one side designated area), Pool area (designated area opposite side of the Pool Bar)

Cigar Smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club on applicable ships and the designated area on the opposite side of the Pool Bar.

Pipe smoking is only permitted in the Connoisseur Club. Pipe smoking in open deck areas is considered an extreme fire hazard and is not permitted.

Failure to comply with the above smoking policy will result in guests being asked to leave the ship at their expense, without refund or credit for the unused portion of their cruise.

What is your alcohol policy?

The sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be limited to guests aged 21 years or older. However, with the exception of Hawaii, Alaska and New England voyages not leaving U.S. territorial waters, guests between the ages of 18 through 20 may purchase and personally consume wine and beer only while on board and with the consent of an accompanying parent.  Authorization will be given only when the accompanying parent completes the Young Adult Alcoholic Beverage Waiver form.  This form can be obtained and completed at the Reception Desk upon embarkation.  While sailing on select international voyages, guests 18 years or older are permitted to consume alcoholic beverages without having to complete the Young Adult Alcoholic Beverage Waiver form. Guests are kindly reminded to consume alcohol in moderation. Regent Seven Seas Cruises reserves the right to prohibit and retain all liquor brought aboard the ship.

Where can I store my valuables?

Each suite is equipped with a personal safe with an electronic combination lock. Dimensions of the safe: 4 inches (10cm) deep, 14 inches (35cm) wide, 7 inches (17cm) high. Regent Seven Seas Cruises is not responsible for any personal articles such as money, jewelry, cameras, binoculars, documents or any other items, which you retain personally or in your suite.

What are the casino policies?

Guests must be 18 or older to enter or gamble in the casinos on our ships. US dollars are used. A 3% fee will be charged to your account if we receive a cash advance against your shipboard account. There is a $3,000 maximum per guest per day for these cash advances.

What voltage outlets are available onboard the ships?

Each suite is provided with both 110 and 220 electric volts.
