Sandra was an amazing guide! She was extremely knowledgeable on the colosseum and let us in on many niche fun facts. They were professional, prompt, and funny. Book with crown tours if you want a great tour for a great price. Thank you Sandra!

My husband and I did the Priority Access Colosseum, Roman Forum & Palatine Tour on our first full day in Rome, and it was MAGICAL! Our guide Marianna was absolutely incredible; she shared fun facts and amazing history throughout our walk, and there was always something new (well, historical!) to see and learn about. She was super sweet and ready to answer any questions, and we had a blast. Definitely book your visit here, and if you're lucky enough to have Marianna as your guide, you are guaranteed an excellent experience.

Unacceptable, didn't have a guide, they knew in the morning, told us right before our time. Worst part, after explaining everything, they explain everything again outside of their building causing us a ton of time in the hot sun to sit in line in the skip the line tour. Absolutely horrible way to treat us. Don't know how much to refund us?!? Don't use them

Booked through the app GetYourGuide, this tour was a group of about 25 for the Colosseum, Forum, and Palatine Hill. Met at the office just outside Colosseum. Radios given to hear tour guide. Guide spoke English. But radios used as separation can occur due to heavy traffic. Radio use is a little muffled. So, we stayed up front with the guide. Tour is very informative and our guide, Evis was outstanding. She answered questions and was very nice and patient with guests. Colosseum is amazing when you consider the age, history, and legends. Overall a great experience!

We did the 3 hour tour of the Roman forum and the colosseum. Eva was our guide. She was phenomenal in how she managed the group, the crowd, and provided an full blown experience. We not only left having learned about what we saw, but able to actually picture life in ancient Roman times. While it would be easy to let the ruins do the speaking, Eva made it so much better!

Huge fraud. Do not be dumb like us and run very far away from this compagny. We paid tickets to go to visit Borghèse gallery. 33€ personne person. Because of GPS WE walked 2 hours and never found it. Of course. No refund. The guy told us that eh would give us 20% discount if we come back. We really wanted to. We bought 2 other tickets. On the way to go, we realise that real price is 16€ per person. For the difference we thought maybe it was a guided tour, but with a lack of Informations on their website. Not. They juste make you pay the double because they buy the tickets instead of you, and because they Say they make you skip the line. When you are inside, the BEST! One line. YOU CAN NOT SKIP IT! Even the guy from the museum who scans the tickets laughs of us and tell us this is bullshit and a FRAUD! THEY ARE THIEFS. My bad. Just my money that I put in the toilets. I have been told since I am 6 years old that italien are specialists to steal money from the tourits. For the CrownTours company, this is not a legend......

I would recommend staying away from this company. Our tour of the Forum and Colosseum was HORRIBLE. Our guide's knowledge and grasp of what we were seeing was abysmal. We paid extra for the arena floor and were told at the last minute it was cancelled - without reason. Our tour started late. Our guide barely spoke English and lost us on several occasions in the crowds. It was downright bad. When I complained, they admitted the tour guide was ill-prepared. It was not worth our money. Crown Tours said they would make it right and refund us. It's been 3 months and they keep dragging me along as if they are going to refund me. I am tired of waiting. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

My son and I took a Vatican small group tour. Our guide never stopped talking and she made ridiculous statements. For instance, she said Michelangelo never painted before he got the commission to do the Sistine Chapel, she then added this proves there was divine intervention in his painting. Come on. He studied painting too. He considered painting equivalent to house painting, not art, and preferred sculpting, but to tell people he never painted was unforgivable for a guide.

We went on a Colosseum tour with crown and we're lucky enough to get tour guide Lumi. She was AMAZING. So knowledgeable (former history teacher), I mean a book of knowledge! She was witty, funny, entertaining and down right the best. Request her.

Terrible experience with Crown tours. We were not able to get our visit because the people from Crown Tours did not pick us up at the place indicated by our operator "Get Your Guide". They mixed information, and were very rude when we finally met. They tried to put all responsability on our shoulders, saying we have been late which was a lie. No alternative proposed, no reimbursment, for a visit for 4 people. This event just devastated our family stay in Rome.

As the most enduring symbol of the Roman Empire and one of the most famous landmarks in the world, the Colosseum receives more than 6 million visitors per year, so it's not easy to escape the crowds. A visit is worth it, though, if you want to see the world's largest amphitheater – once known as the Flavian Amphitheater – and try to imagine what it would have been like 2,000 years ago.

A standard ticket to the Colosseum also includes access to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill, so many (but not all) tours also include those ancient sites. Inside the ancient complex, there is very little signage explaining what you're looking at. A good guide will not only get you skip-the-line access but also bring these incredible places to life. Keep in mind that most Colosseum tours only give you access to the arena floor and upper level. If you want to visit the underground hypogeum, you need to make sure it's included in the tour.

The tour meets at Largo Gaetana Agnesi on the hill overlooking the Colosseum about 30 minutes before the official entry time to get everyone checked in and set up with headsets. Upon release of payment and guarantee of booking, all guests are submitting compliance to the following Terms & Conditions Policy. Should any doubt or dispute with said Terms & Conditions arise before booking, it is advised to contact us before placing your booking and submitting payment. Cancellation Policy We respect that your time is valuable and want you to feel as comfortable as possible when booking with us. We have a 72-hour easy cancellation policy. Does NOT apply to all Colosseum Underground Products. Any cancellations that occur 72 hours or more before the scheduled time are eligible for a FULL REFUND or re-booked(if available) at no additional cost to the client. Cancellations between 36-72 hours before the event may be transferred to a different date/time of the same tour (if available) or another tour available in our platform. (A transfer fee between 10% to 35% may be applied) Additional charges may apply for tours at higher price. Cancellation requests made within 36 hours of the tour date/time cannot be refunded nor transferred. All cancellation requests/tour changes must be made either by email [email protected] or by calling (0039) 392 533 1594. All bookings eligible for refunds are processed within 24 hours of request. Early Colosseum Underground Booking At Crown Tours, we try our best to keep our calendar as updated as possible with the latest availabilities from the Colosseum. However, as the Colosseum gradually releases availabilities for tickets throughout the year, and the tickets for the period selected might have not been released yet, tour times might have a slight variation in time/day depending on availability. Due to new regulations of the Colosseum administration all Colosseum Underground booking are to be considered non Refundable and non trasferable within 32 days of the tour date. This would be the case with ANY SUPPLIER. We will be able to provide the availability right after the release of reservations and we will always do our best to make sure your tour will start on the same date and time chosen. In any case, if your booking will be subject to changes till that time we will inform you, and according to our cancellation policy, you will be eligible to get a full refund. All teenagers and children under the age of 18 must show proof in order to receive the discounted rate. All students (age 18-26) must show a valid student ID in order to receive the student rate.
