BREWING HERITAGE TRAIL ROUTE

The first portion of the Brewing Heritage Trail opened in April 2019 and is about 3/4 of a mile long. You can HOP ON at Findlay Market or in Grant Park and a downloadable trail map is below. 1. Cincinnati Pride Parade and Festival

Cincinnati's most colorful and inclusive parade sashays along Seventh Street at 11 a.m. and heads south on Vine Street, dispersing into the massive Pride Festival at Sawyer Point Park. The family-friendly festival features a wide variety of vendors – with over 100 informational and nonprofits and more than 70 different retail vendors – plus plenty of food, beverages and entertainment, including this year's headliners, The Aces and Priyanka.

4. June in Olde Williamsburg

This annual festival includes amusement rides, games and activities for all ages, live music, craft vendors, food trucks, fireworks and a kids' fest. A parade kicks off the festival at 6 p.m. Friday. Rozzi's Fireworks cap off the festival Saturday night. To ease parking and congestion, there's a shuttle service between new the high school parking lot and the festival grounds provided by Croswell Bus Lines.

5. Juneteenth Tasting Event

Celebrate the cuisine of the market’s Black-owned businesses and sample dishes that harken back to the history and importance of Juneteenth. Eighteen vendors will be on hand with samples, including Afromeals, Eliza Jane's Bakeshop, Flavors of the Isle, Gramma Debbie's Kitchen and Nay Nay's Bread.

6. 'The Rocky Horror Show'

Experience the phenomenon that has captivated generations. Two squeaky-clean college kids meet a twist of fate as their car breaks down outside a creepy mansion. Inside, they encounter the charismatic Dr. Frank-n-Furter. RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant Dusty Ray Bottoms plays the lead in this humorous cult classic musical. Note: The play contains mature content unsuitable for young children and the faint of heart.

7. Lebanon Garden Tour & Scavenger Hunt

Explore eight private gardens of the Northern Historic District of Lebanon on this self-guided tour. Homes are close enough to be walkable to each featured garden, and some of the older homes on the tour have interesting histories. You’ll find water features, herb, hosta and pollinator gardens, a community garden, sun/shade gardens and unique sculptures and artworks. Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions, and a scavenger hunt highlights a special feature of each garden. Those who complete it have a chance to win prizes. Ticket includes a map and admission. The tour is hosted by the Lebanon Council of Garden Clubs.

8. Montgomery Garden & Tree Tour

Sign in at Swaim Park and receive a map of the gardens on the tour, then drive to each location and enjoy gardens at your own pace. The tour, hosted by the Montgomery Beautification & Tree Commission, includes five private gardens and two city parks. You'll discover gardens filled with native plant species, a garden with hydrangeas, a pollinator garden and homeowners who built a pond in their yard during pandemic lockdown. You can also get tips for discouraging deer and other foraging animals, and ideas for growing your own fruit, vegetables and herbs. Artists from Cincinnati Brush & Palette Painters will be at each garden creating works of art.

9. American Heritage Day

Symmes Township celebrates its 200th birthday this year and on Saturday hosts American Heritage Day, featuring historical reenactments, carriage rides, demonstrations, live music and more. Parking is available at Camp Dennison Memorial Park (State Route 126) and Kugler Mill Park (9950 Kugler Mill Road).

10. SOS ART 2024

Now in its 22nd year, SOS ART 2024 presents a 24-day art show of creative expressions for peace and justice. The exhibition is a kaleidoscopic community view on the sociopolitical world, with more than 100 Greater Cincinnati artists taking part to make powerful and diverse statements on the theme. You'll find paintings, sculptures, photographs, prints, installations and artist presentations, as well as miniprints on peace and justice by artists from all over the United States. Opening night also includes a tribute to late artist Gloria McConnaghy, followed by a potluck reception and live music.

Dojo Gelato Pride Pooch Parade Costume Contest: Dress up your four-legged friend and show them off on a red carpet parade. Judges will score the costumes based on creativity, cuteness and the dogs' ability to wear the costume as intended. The event benefits Cincinnati Animal CARE Shelter.
