SWISS ALPINE

Overall i must say it was “WONDERFUL AND ONE OF MY LIFE BEST TRIP”. We had wonderful tour manager RISHI VAIKUL, he look after everyone, he make sure everyone is comfortable and all as well as we had most amazing and friendly coach captain 🧑‍✈️, RAMBO and DARIUZ. They are so nice person and they are very energetic. They bring more fun in our whole journey.

Outstanding experience

I travelled to the Northern Landscapes with star tours in March. It was such an amazing experience. Chitrangi our tour leader & Jimmy our coach captain were brilliant. Chitrangi tried her best to keep all the guests entertained during road travel despite the microphone not working last minute. The overall organization of the tour was brilliant, enough time was provided to explore places, no rushing at all & we managed to cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary too. Hotels could have been better, but I believe that was the best the area could offer. Indian food provided was delicious too. Overall amazing experience. I am travelling again with them to Italy next month. Kudos to the entire team. 👏

Had my best trip to switzerland with…

Had my best trip to switzerland with star tours. My trip manager Rishi arranged everything so perfectly, he’s the best and coach drivers Ramadhan aka rambo and dariusz were so friendly and helpful. Overall, I had amazing trip with all of them. I would definitely recommend others to book their trips through Star Tours.

Amazing trip to switzerland

It was great trip i can’t express my feelings by words but we enjoyed a lot . All thanks to RISHI VAIKUL our tour manager and our coach captains RANBOW and DARIUS we had lot of fun with them . This is amazing trip i had till now. In this trip we didn’t face any problems because of rishi,ranbow and darius . I will recommend all other people to book from star tours specially with rishi, ranbow and darius.

The trip was well organized

The trip was well organized. The bus wqs comfortable, the driver was mindful and both guides were extremely helpful. The scheduled was explained well in advance. The hotel was good and there was good breakfast and views, esp the accessible to sea beach , pier and promenade. Thanks for keep washroom for urination in the coach. There were good music played ,plus video movie while return in well. The snowdown train was managed well , with advance ticket booking for all passengers interested. Request to make other high prices tours like scotland realtively cheaper.

We were on swiss Alpine 5 day tour. It was a wonderful experience, it is going to be one of my most memorable holidays. Thanks to Rishi, our tour manager for sorting out all the issues that came our way.

It was amazing trip with star tours. Specially, thanks to Rishi who did well as a tour manager and managed all things and activities for us. He was very kind and helpful in every situation. And also our coach captains rambo & dariuz helping us every time. They are very free minded. they have best qualities of driving. If i get chance second time for travelling with star tours I recommend all of them as tour manager and coach captains. Thank you for everything🙂

It was great, with company of one of the best tour manager, RISHI VAIKUL, and our coach captain’s are the best as well, RAMBO, he is the best guy and energetic man, Darius is also very kind, always there to help everyone in need. I have not started my tour yet, however even to decide whether you want to tour with company or not begins with your first inquiries, booking process. My experience with Neha Bhatia at New Jersey office was extremely pleasant and satisfying . Neha is very professional, polite, responds quickly and politely, and made me feel comfortable to think about taking tour that begins from London, but I am in USA. Neha made the process very comfortable with the way she talks, made everything very easy. It is people like Neha, who brings customers to the company . Amazing Swiss Alpine with STAR TOURS…

I have taken many trips with STAR TOURS as a family. Each one has given us a ton of memories and experiences. The recent one is Swiss Alpine with the tour Manager - Rishi Vaikul who has been absolutely amazing in ensuring the entire group is happy, entertained and are aware of the places we are visiting by explaining a bit of history about it. What I really liked about him is he carefully watches what every passenger needs and proactively offers support. He is definitely an asset to the company. Similarly, both the coach captain we call him Rambo a.k.a Ramadhan and Dariusz became part of the group and just fun loving. They both have amazing driving skills to ensure we don't miss out on any of the sightseeing spots on the alloted time. I must say there is a lot of focus on ensuring improvement in customer satisfaction from each tour. Overall travel experience was excellent and will be a happy customer to go back again at the same time will refer to anyone planning to take a tour with friends and family. HORRIBLE COMPANY!! Please stay clear of them

If there was a no star option I would have given it. They cancelled our scenic Scandinavia tour last minute because they did not have enough seats to fill. This is after I called them almost every week to ask them if they are confirming this tour soon. Now I tried to book another tour with them but they won't take my booking because they want 2 adults and 1 child instead of 2 adults. Just blatant disregard for their customers. They treat their customers horribly and do absolutely nothing to help them. Literally they just after your money and as soon as you make the payment you realize that they will make sure they keep your money without providing the necessary service. All the Indians looking to hire their services, please look to another company that provides better service and is worth the buck you are spending

Best of Europe with Manish Jhaveri

It was a wonderful experience with Manish sir and our captain Paul. Specially Manish sir explained each and everything about the particular places that we visited. The food which was served was amazing. Manish sir maintained the time very well and he gave us enough time at every places. Even paul did a very good job he tried his level best to show us few places in swiss which was extremely wonderful. A special thanks to him and i would say he is a very safe driver and very calm nature and friendly. Two Words: Neverrrrr Againnnn I took the 12 day Europe Tour with my family and here are the things to note if you consider doing the same: 1. Every day we ate Indian food. When I say every day, I mean every single day. At Rome, go to an Indian restaurant for dinner, in Paris, go to an Indian restaurant, in the hotels, get Indian food catered to you. Me and my sister were so sick of having the typical Indian food for every meal: Punjabi entree, naan, biryani, salad, etc. We barley ate for half of the trip because we were so tired of Indian food. It was annoying because when you're in Italy, you would want to try native food like pizza or pasta, but we were stuck comping down on chew naan and over spicy paneer. 2. You will spend so much of the time in the tour bus, the traveling from one city to another is insane. They drive 5 hours in the morning, 5 hours at night and it gets very annoying after a while. They would stop at rest stop areas for restroom breaks which I was thankful for, but don't let that fool you. The restrooms are so disgusting. Because we always ate at Indian restaurants, we always used the restrooms there and it was the worst. There was always just one stall for 15 women in the tour. 3. Everything is so rushed. The tour guide would take us to a popular area, leave us there for an hour or 30 minutes to roam around and then we would meet again at the same spot for the next event. What bummed me out was at the Colosseum in Rome, we were rushed because we had a mini tour to attend so we barely got times for pictures and did not go inside. When was I ever going to visit the Colosseum again? This happened at multiple cities, we did not get to see a lot of places we wanted to explore. 4. The hotels were mehhh. I still remember the hotel in Rome and Switzerland, both were runned down, old, and dirty. Some hotels were on the better end, but be prepared for some that are not. I would say if you are Indian and are okay with eating Indian food every single day and do not want to plan anything, you may think about doing this tour. My parents enjoyed this tour because they did not have to worry about anything, just paying. They did not have to worry about reserving hotels, activities, and safety concerns in Europe. The others in our tour group were all Indian families so if you are not Indian I would not suggest this tour. There was an Australian family on this tour and they absolutely hated the tour and the food as they ate plain rice for most of their meals. I would love to return back to Europe and travel without a tour to revisit the areas that we did not get to spend as much time as I wanted.

We had first called Star Tours UK, without looking at the price, but just based on friend's reviews. When we called, we talked to Mr. Jayshiv Parekh about the different Europe Tours. He provided excellent customer service on that call. So, we then booked Treasures of Europe Tour online for 8/1/2022. We frequently had conversations with Jayshiv, until the employee from Star Tours picked us up from the Heathrow airport. For our tour, Mr. Amit Pradhan was the Tour Manager, while Mr. J.J. was the coach driver. We were sitting right behind J.J., and as such noticed that he was very skilled driver. He knew how to maneuver in the traffic, without making a single "oofs". Amit not only had the detailed knowledge about the tourist spots, but was very well versed with the different spots that came up as the J.J. was driving. Both Amit as well as J.J. were very friendly and caring to all of us. In just a day or two, everyone on the coach became like extended family, including Amit & J.J. We were all joking and having fun as if we were on a family tour. In Italy, the group said that they wanted to eat Pizza & Pasta. So, Amit arranged twice for us to get that also, along with the Indian food! In Paris, Amit also arranged for us to go the Top Level of Eiffel Tower. On the last day, we all wanted a group picture with Amit & J.J. Many of us also said that we will take another tour, in which we hope to have Amit & J.J. again!! Yogesh R. Shah, Pharm.D. They tend to hide offers that are available and customer service folks are unhelpful and rude. I booked two tours for treasures of Europe and historic Scotland. At the time of booking no where on the tour page on the website there was any mention of offer for free stay in London if you book two tours. I spoke multiple times with the customer service representatives who also failed to mention the said offer. It was only after we were given the brochure on the tour did we find out that there was an offer for London stay if two tours were booked. Honestly, I am a little surprised at the lack of transparency from the folks handling this. When I called the office today, I was very curtly told that nothing can be done and they were sorry they missed giving me the information but now they can't do anything

Treasure of Europe - departed on 21st July - 9 day - The WORST TOUR MANAGER - MR. NANU Star tour holds the great value which has been ruined by their tour managers. You can review all negative comments in Trustpiot. The most common complaints are related to Tour manager only. Don't book the tour if your tour manager is MR.Nanu. No complaint for star tours and their drivers. Drivers are really good but they can't do anything against rude managers. I booked the tours for senior citizens travelled from India and this guy named as MR. NANU was completely unprofessional, very rude. - He didn't allow them for toilet breaks even they are diabetic, everyone suffered lot - the toilet in coach is just for show off as they are not for use. - Never stopped at any good service station for toilet break -Mr. Nanu the rude guy has no sense yo talk with people. - mr. Nanu left young family and their kids at Switzerland without any instruction as they been late for 2 minutes. - Mr. Nanu was rude to few citizens as they asked just for room details. - Mr. Nanu rudely argued with few people as they turned up early for breakfast Everyone in our coach has given written complaints about him so; we are sure star tour has take some necessary action against him. WORST TOUR MANAGER - MR.NANU Guys, don't take chance if your tour manager is Mr.nanu.

Booked my first coach trip with them to enjoy Valentine's Half Term - The 4 Day Paris Tour. They seemed great when booking the tour and ensured every facility which then turned sour on the actual trip. Detailed review on the review centre and Trust Pilot website. When asked and made suggestions about improvements, the company got very defensive hiding behind excuses, making feeble apologies and left a what you would call bad taste in the mouth. I would suggest to get all your answers to questions asked in writing and not trust their call centre be it even minor queries. Overall, Star Tours UK used to be good and so used on a friend's recommendation who was surprised and embarrassed too but new cost cutting and poor response to critiques have made them a bad experience.

We did the 3 day Paris Tour w/ Disneyland. This tour was booked by my aunt so we had no expectations for what to look forward to. She was given a brief description from the website and nothing else. To make things clear for future reservations, let me summarize this trip: 1) this trip is meant for people who don't care to actually experience Paris. Tours are given as a drive through by which every site is viewed from your bus seat. 2) the most time you'll spend on this trip is on the bus. To get from Southall, London to Paris will take 10 hours. 3) the tour runs on desi-standard-time. We left 1 hour late because for some reason we needed to wait for passengers that arrived extremely late. At Disneyland we were told that anyone who doesn't board the bus at 6:30 sharp will be left behind, LIES. We waited 32 minutes, again, for a couple that got lost. 4) the driver doesn't tell you the full itinerary. If you like to play the waiting game then by all means, this is for you. 5) surprises happen.. a lot. We were told will be dining at 2 different restaurants. Surprise was that it was the same restaurant but at different locations. The restaurant was BHOJAN. - it was the worst Indian food I had but it was horrible. Food was cold, naan was the size of a samosa and cooked on a tava that made it very hard and chewy. There were no food labels so some of the food was meant for Jain dietary restrictions--- not my cup of tea. The food was bland, no spice at all. 6) hotel was novohotel, 1 hour outside of Paris to keep you stranded and without options to wander out on your own. 7) the tour guides assistant had no idea of the plans and was extremely misguided. Not to mention she almost got 5 of us killed by having us cross a busy street against a cross signal by walking us to the wrong restaurant!!!!! Seriously woman?!! 8) Throughout the trip you're told to "please hurry" while you're eating, while you're touring, while you stop for breaks. My god, please, I'm on vacation to RELAX not to jog through chores. 9) on the bus you're told to use the toilet for emergencies only. Except the riders chose to use it frequently and there was absolutely no regulation towards this. So if you like to ride in a bus full of shit, then be my guest. In all, save your money people. Worst guided tour ever. 1 star for the driver Thomas for being enthusiastic. He was a great driver and with such long driving time, I didn't not feel road sick at all. The company itinerary and employee training is the real issue here not the driver.

Posting on behalf of my parents. Following are their comments on a recent Europe tour with Star Tours. From My Dad- I am a senior citizen recently visited Wonders of Europe by coach during 22nd - 31st of August 2015 with my wife. Following is our personal experience with Star Tours. Everything was good (like staying in hotel, food etc) except one which is very critical to any touring, the Tour Guide. Our tour guide was Ms Kamal with whom we had a terrible experience. My wife had an ankle sprain while getting down from the coach at Eiffel Towers, Paris. We informed this to Ms Kamal. We visited the Eiffel Tower since the lift was working but while coming down the power failed at the second floor and it was a nightmare to come down by the stairs. As a result we reached the coach a few minutes late. Instead of showing any empathy (because of an ankle sprain and power failure at Eiffel Tower), Ms Kamal accused us and uttered derogatory words like Non-Sense and Rubbish 3 times in front of all the tour members. It really hurt us. We have visited many foreign countries but never had such bad experience anywhere. While we understand that we need to be punctual to be able to complete the tour on time but that was not the way to handle any situation. I am really surprised to see a reputed touring company like Star Tours employs such a rude and tourist unfriendly guide. She must be trained on how to courteously behave and deal with tourists specially senior citizens. So, I suggest anyone booking through Star Tours must ask about the tour guide and if the tour guide is Ms Kamal then you should think twice in selecting the tour. She is Arrogant, Short Tempered and not at all TOURIST FRIENDLY.

We booked MJEP tour(Majestic Europe) for august & it was worst experience ever&waste of hard earned money. Tour manager was horrible/nasty & some hotels are not up to class/standard(dirty smell from non smoking rooms) & hotels with out AC in Paris. food except Paris is bad or tasteless.sight seeing times are very less. No WiFi/less leg space in bus. Before booking star tour promise us to get first four seat in bus as we are first one to book that tour but tour manager refuse to give/honor,instead he took front two seat for him self. smell of alcohol & cigarettes from his mouth . whenever ask Tour manager try to insult our guest ,he show movies of his own choice & listen to music of what he likes (in-spite of some people request he refuse to change movie or songs) People including tour manager are sleeping for boring movies as no one was interested. wasted lots of-time for shopping instead of sightseeing for his commission/gift. called higher authority to complaint & certainly will not recommend star tours for others.

Avoid this people if you can. Total waste of time and money. They have a misleading booking system to watch out for if you are living outside London and want a pick up / drop off outside London. We were told before booking that they would arrange pickup and drop off near where we live and asked to make online booking and contact them. Once done they said that they cannot arrant pickup and we will have to arrange one with taxi that cost us £200 extra. Yes, eye watering £200 in addition because all their pickup points does not have long term car parks. Tour started 2 hours late, old ladies 70+ who started at 5 from tooting and came to their pickup points for 6:30 Starr was made to wait until 8:30 sitting outside in cold. As usual ferry was missed and nearly had to rush through all the first day itenerary. Because of this kids and toddler had to wait until 10:30 at night for dinner. Indian vegetarian dinner served on first night was ok. Was meant to continental breakfast buffet but nothing more than bread, butter and jam. Worst value for money. Second day itenerary was ok could be better compared to what other tour operators offer. Night dinner was the worst we ever had. If travelling with kids, this would be the last food you would want to give to your kids. Last day is nothing more than waste of time, except for madurodam. Was told trip to chocolate factory but it was nothing more than an outlet no demonstration. Same for the cheese factory on second day. All this just for snatching some commission from these outlets I guess. Missed the return ferry I spite of doing nothing on third day and had to wait for 2.5 hours. Worst tour you can give to your family and no value for money. Only good thing about the trip was th guide who was friendly and tried to help with the mess. Avoid these tours.

Good deal for short time. Dinshaw is an excellent manager- underpaid and overworked. Sean is an excellent driver- contracted bus driver. Buses are not owned by Star Food- needs a major change. Star must bring back caravans with fresh food they used to have. Eating Mutter panir and Dal Makhani most often by local Punjabi food places is a limit. They need to serve local lunch and Indian dinner but variety in Indian dinner is a must. Indian citizens possibly will not appreciate local lunch but then they need to be separated from NRIs with non indian kids who want a variety. Hotels were okay. They can do better. Food at hotels was crummy. I have never seen more mushy eggs. Eggs are easy to cook but I can't understand how they can mess up in eggs!! Eggs were not enough at some Swiss hotel. They refused to serve more. They gave eggs for five people when 47 needed them. We could use a newer bus with more facilities Bus had a small dingy restroom that was only for emergency. I expected a full use restroom. Europe itself is a pit. Everywhere you go you have to pay for rest room use per person. That is cheap!! SWISS ALPINE

Overall i must say it was “WONDERFUL AND ONE OF MY LIFE BEST TRIP”. We had wonderful tour manager RISHI VAIKUL, he look after everyone, he make sure everyone is comfortable and all as well as we had most amazing and friendly coach captain 🧑‍✈️, RAMBO and DARIUZ. They are so nice person and they are very energetic. They bring more fun in our whole journey.

Outstanding experience

I travelled to the Northern Landscapes with star tours in March. It was such an amazing experience. Chitrangi our tour leader & Jimmy our coach captain were brilliant. Chitrangi tried her best to keep all the guests entertained during road travel despite the microphone not working last minute. The overall organization of the tour was brilliant, enough time was provided to explore places, no rushing at all & we managed to cover all the places mentioned in the itinerary too. Hotels could have been better, but I believe that was the best the area could offer. Indian food provided was delicious too. Overall amazing experience. I am travelling again with them to Italy next month. Kudos to the entire team. 👏

Had my best trip to switzerland with…

Had my best trip to switzerland with star tours. My trip manager Rishi arranged everything so perfectly, he’s the best and coach drivers Ramadhan aka rambo and dariusz were so friendly and helpful. Overall, I had amazing trip with all of them. I would definitely recommend others to book their trips through Star Tours.

It was great trip i can’t express my feelings by words but we enjoyed a lot . All thanks to RISHI VAIKUL our tour manager and our coach captains RANBOW and DARIUS we had lot of fun with them . This is amazing trip i had till now. In this trip we didn’t face any problems because of rishi,ranbow and darius . I will recommend all other people to book from star tours specially with rishi, ranbow and darius.

The trip was well organized

The trip was well organized. The bus wqs comfortable, the driver was mindful and both guides were extremely helpful. The scheduled was explained well in advance. The hotel was good and there was good breakfast and views, esp the accessible to sea beach , pier and promenade. Thanks for keep washroom for urination in the coach. There were good music played ,plus video movie while return in well. The snowdown train was managed well , with advance ticket booking for all passengers interested. Request to make other high prices tours like scotland realtively cheaper.

It was amazing trip with star tours. Specially, thanks to Rishi who did well as a tour manager and managed all things and activities for us. He was very kind and helpful in every situation. And also our coach captains rambo & dariuz helping us every time. They are very free minded. they have best qualities of driving. I have not started my tour yet, however even to decide whether you want to tour with company or not begins with your first inquiries, booking process. My experience with Neha Bhatia at New Jersey office was extremely pleasant and satisfying . Neha is very professional, polite, responds quickly and politely, and made me feel comfortable to think about taking tour that begins from London, but I am in USA. Amazing Swiss Alpine with STAR TOURS…

I have taken many trips with STAR TOURS as a family. Each one has given us a ton of memories and experiences. The recent one is Swiss Alpine with the tour Manager - Rishi Vaikul who has been absolutely amazing in ensuring the entire group is happy, entertained and are aware of the places we are visiting by explaining a bit of history about it. What I really liked about him is he carefully watches what every passenger needs and proactively offers support. He is definitely an asset to the company. Similarly, both the coach captain we call him Rambo a.k.a Ramadhan and Dariusz became part of the group and just fun loving. They both have amazing driving skills to ensure we don't miss out on any of the sightseeing spots on the alloted time. I must say there is a lot of focus on ensuring improvement in customer satisfaction from each tour. Overall travel experience was excellent and will be a happy customer to go back again at the same time will refer to anyone planning to take a tour with friends and family. HORRIBLE COMPANY!! Please stay clear of them

If there was a no star option I would have given it. They cancelled our scenic Scandinavia tour last minute because they did not have enough seats to fill. This is after I called them almost every week to ask them if they are confirming this tour soon. Now I tried to book another tour with them but they won't take my booking because they want 2 adults and 1 child instead of 2 adults. Just blatant disregard for their customers. They treat their customers horribly and do absolutely nothing to help them. Literally they just after your money and as soon as you make the payment you realize that they will make sure they keep your money without providing the necessary service. All the Indians looking to hire their services, please look to another company that provides better service and is worth the buck you are spending

Best of Europe with Manish Jhaveri

It was a wonderful experience with Manish sir and our captain Paul. Specially Manish sir explained each and everything about the particular places that we visited. The food which was served was amazing. Manish sir maintained the time very well and he gave us enough time at every places. Even paul did a very good job he tried his level best to show us few places in swiss which was extremely wonderful. Me and my family went on Historic Scotland tour recently. Hotel , bus, driver and Tour guide were very good and cooperative. The itiniary was not very hectic. Third day's restaurant where we had our dinner, was clean, food was tasty. Suggestion - instead of going to Lake district, an overnight stay in Edinburgh was preferable. That way maximum points of Scotland could have been covered.

Absolutely awful experience, they schedule everything late. Food was not nice. Toilet on the coach was blocked causing foul smell. The tour didn't cover much to sightsee or do activity wise. I wasted my money and don't recommend anyone to travel with star tours!

Disappointed Title: Disappointing Experience on Star Tours' 10-Day Wonders of Europe Tour Rating: 1 out of 5 stars I recently embarked on Star Tours' 10-day Wonders of Europe tour, and I must say that my overall experience was extremely disappointing. As a frequent traveler, I had high expectations for this tour, but unfortunately, it fell far short of them. From poor customer service to uncomfortable conditions and limited food options, this trip left much to be desired. My journey with Star Tours began on a sour note, as I had previously taken a four-day tour the week before and had already expressed my concerns to both customer service and through a review. Despite reaching out to them, I received no response until day five of the tour, and even then, the response was vague and unhelpful. The lack of timely and appropriate customer service only added to my frustrations. One of the main issues I encountered was the misleading information regarding food options. Although the tour claimed to provide vegetarian meals, it was limited to Indian vegetarian cuisine, which was not suitable for my preferences. This lack of variety and consideration for different dietary needs and allergies was a major letdown. Additionally, the absence of labels and proper information about the food made it difficult to navigate and find suitable options. Another significant problem was the feeling of being singled out throughout the tour. As one of the few non-Indian and non-black individuals on the trip, my companion and I were consistently placed at the back of the bus and were always called last. This meant we were unable to disembark promptly, further inconveniencing us. It was evident that the tour did not cater well to diverse groups of travelers, as we were unable to participate in certain activities such as Hindi conversations or entertainment. The lack of operational charging ports in the coach was another inconvenience. This was particularly problematic during long drives, as we were unable to charge our devices or even use fans to combat the excessive heat inside the bus. The insufficient cooling system caused discomfort and headaches, making the overall journey unpleasant. Furthermore, the tour's arrangements for meals and stops were subpar. Being ill from day two onward, my companion and I were unable to eat for the remainder of the trip. The limited opportunities to purchase food were mostly at gas stations, which are not known for offering the best quality options. This lack of suitable food combined with the uncomfortable bus conditions made the tour extremely challenging and unpleasant. Hygiene was also a concern, as the packed bus often resulted in issues with body odor and uncomfortable seating. Moreover, the disregard shown by the tour staff was disheartening. The constant need to prove our inclusion in the group at restaurants and the refusal to serve me properly cooked food in one instance were highly unprofessional and unacceptable. Additionally, the rushed itinerary left little time for enjoying the locations or purchasing souvenirs. The tour felt more like a race to check off items from a checklist rather than an opportunity to immerse oneself in the wonders of Europe. Lastly, the dismissive response I received from customer service after the tour had ended further exemplified the lack of concern and disregard for the issues I faced throughout the trip. Their response implied that the tour was intended primarily for Indians and not for international or diverse cultures, contradicting their initial claims. In conclusion, my experience with Star Tours' 10-day Wonders of Europe tour was deeply unsatisfactory. The lack of response from customer service, misleading information regarding food options, uncomfortable conditions, and feeling ignored throughout the tour all contributed to a negative experience. I would not recommend this tour to anyone seeking an enjoyable and inclusive travel experience.

Package name : Majestic Europe . Coach trip 6.5.2023 to 19.5.2023 Hi , I am customer of star tour travels, UK. We , family of four traveled in Majestic Europe Package (13 nights 14 days) on 5. 6.2023 . We enjoyed the trip very much. Meeting people from different part of the world and developing a new friendship is an awesome experience. I would like to share some of my views or suggestions regarding the tour. Tour co ordinater: Special thanks to the co ordinater , multitalented and cool headed man. He kept on engaging us by singing, joking and sharing his life experiences . Pros First on the positive note , sharing some pros. The stay and food provided was good. They took immense effort to provide us the indian meals for dinner and lunch. Cons: As per itinerary we are supposed to be picked up by the coach which starts from London in the afternoon ( L , D). Due to some operational issues the ferry got delayed. Though the delays are not under control, we were not informed neither by the startours nor by the company Xplore travels, India through which we booked our trip. Not knowing the reason we were standing at the pickup points from 2 o clock onwards. Finally the coach arrived at 5.30 pm. If we were well informed about the delay we would have spent our time in exploring the city instead of simply wasting our time at the pick up point. As we were clueless and no communication from the co ordinater we missed our lunch and not compensated by the company though the delay was by them. Though we carried our luggages exactly prescribed as per the star tours norms ( infact 3 luggage are smaller than the prescribed size) the moment the driver saw the luggage his expression was not welcoming. Atlast boarded the bus and started our tour. *The coach is below average. No leg rooms and not advisable for 14 days long road travels. Have heard from fellow travellers that the same star tours provide good coach for the London coach trip . On day 2 of the tour, we realized the air-conditioning was not working and informed the same to the driver and Co ordinater. The driver replied rudly that it's not a car to cool down immediately . Next day after many passengers made the same complaint he checked and admitted the problem. After four days it got repaired . The coach had inbuilt WC. Though we all used the washrooms when we were at the break points and at the sight seeing points , we were not allowed to use WC in the coach not even in emergency situations. It was under lock for the last three days and denied for the use. Many women are above 50 years and faced the inhuman attitude.The company should review this issue, as it is not an pleasant experience. Views on additional trips provided by the company: The company provides additional trips by paying and enrolling on the spot. They are 1. Zurich city tour , 5 Erous Not worth opting it 2. Ice flyer at at Mount Titlis 17 erous Had a very good experirnce and enjoyed a lot 3 . Rome night tour, 20 erous Waste of money and time. We went for this after a tiring day and very much disappointed. Forget about the lights at buildings , no lights on the streets of the city. Suggestions Visiting the Fragonard perfume museum can be avoided as there is nothing to view except the marketing agenda. That time can be utilized for shopping.

Just sharing my mesmerizing Panoramic Europe trip (20 to 24 May 2023) experience. It was a really splendid time with tour leader (and a multi- faceted personality) "Dinshaw" as he showcased all the tour attractions and communicated all the nitty gritties. It was an amazing and cozy journey with the coach driver. My first coach trip with Star Tours was a memorable one with all the co-passengers (including Antakshari, Jokes and other fun activities). “No respect for food preferences. No alter arrangements...”

We have been with Sttr Tours before and had a very good experience so when we had visitors we were absolutely sure that this time we will book with Star Tours again for Scotland trip. We book the Scottish Highlands tour. Day 1 we were supposed to visit Glasgow Cathedral. Website says you may be able to visit from inside based on the time you reach. We followed the time schedule provided by the tour manager and did not encounter any issues/traffic on the way and yet we did not reach there on time. The schedule on their website is misleading as there was no way we could have made it. Day 2 - most of the passengers on the trip were strictly vegetarian and the Tour manager was aware of this, yet on Day 2 as a part of continental breakfast (included in the tour) bread was served which had eggs in it). Tour Manager did not alert passengers about it and nothing pro active steps were taken to make alternative arrangements for passengers. Even after suggesting to get bread from the supermarket, nothing was done and Tour Manager simply wasted time discussing with their office who were not able to make a decision even for this minor thing. We had kids and passengers with long term health condition go hungry without breakfast that day. Complained to the team that very day, was told someone would get in touch but no one called. We did call again but no apologies or nothing was done to address the issue for that day. You are made to feel that nothing matters to the team once you have paid. Star Tours has lost my trust and my business and I won't be referring anyone again to these guys. 0% care for the passengers. Not recommended.I do have invoice number and call log details to prove I was on this trip

Our hotel rep at the ramada in antayla was very truthful and honest with us about what tours we would like therefore we ended up NOT wasting money. He was so kind to reccomend local areas to see and eat which was so helpful. Our tour guides for the tours were so knowledgeable especially Berkey with Perge and aspendos & the VR tour. We really enjoyed the tours, the boat trip was beautiful and we were able to sit at the front. very good value for money. 20th/21st October 2022. Only downside would be that the buses were abit stretched on the seating but the tour guides worked really well to problem solve this quickly.

We had first called Star Tours UK, without looking at the price, but just based on friend’s reviews. When we called, we talked about the different Europe Tours. He provided excellent customer service on that call. So, we then booked Treasures of Europe Tour online for 8/1/2022. We frequently had conversations, until the employee from Star Tours picked us up from the Heathrow airport. We were sitting right behind the driver, and as such noticed that he was very skilled driver. He knew how to maneuver in the traffic, without making a single “oofs”. The tour manager not only had the detailed knowledge about the tourist spots, but was very well versed with the different spots that came up as the driver was driving. Both were very friendly and caring to all of us. In just a day or two, everyone on the coach became like extended family. We were all joking and having fun as if we were on a family tour. In Italy, the group said that they wanted to eat Pizza & Pasta. So, he arranged twice for us to get that also, along with the Indian food! In Paris, he also arranged for us to go the Top Level of Eiffel Tower. On the last day, we all wanted a group picture with them. Many of us also said that we will take another tour, in which we hope to have them again!!

I always had trust in Star Tours as I have seen them in operation since a long time & many people I know have used their services. But the Pandemic has made them a greed mongering monsters. I booked a 14 days tour of Europe for Summer of 2020. Considering the unprecedented times, the tour was cancelled and they gave us vouchers of a certain validity. Knowing their credibility, I was assured that my money was in safe hands. Now when I want to use my vouchers against a flight booking through them, their USA office denies its limited use saying that it can only be used for a tour booking. My circumstances have changed, I cannot plan a tour now and they are restricting the use of my own money vouchers. You have shaken my trust in your brand. If I cannot use the real money vouchers to purchase your own product and service then you are literally cheating me. I will assure that Star Tours never come to my mind when I think of my future travel plans, nor I will recommend your services to my network.

my trip was cancelled in April 2020 due to corona, and star tours gave me voucher of 630 pound which is totally useless for me as I have no way in future to utilize it. they said that its transferable to anyone but I know,no one to buy from me.even I requested star tours to deduct my cancel charges and refund me remaining amount but they said that no refund of voucher.

I've traveled with my family in "06 Days - Best of Europe without Disney". We stayed in Novotel Hotels & Resorts, 91120 Palaiseau France. My daughter and I was misbehaved by the Novotel hotel reception. I had called the tour manager to the incident location. I was calling Police but didn’t call as suggested by the tour manager. Later, I reached out to Star tours about the incident. I was surprised that the tour manager didn’t update Star tours about this incident. After so many phone call and emails, I was told that identified reception is not in service for Star tours. This doesn’t solve the problem. Star tours screwed our entire vacation, and nothing has done to the guest recovery. Star tour doesn’t care about your respect and dignity. Star tours charges traveler hefty money for Quality vacation. I don’t want anyone with face the same situation which I and my family faced, IT IS NOT TRUSTWORTHY TRAVEL COMPANY AND WORTH WHILE TO LOOK.. Stay away from this tour company.

Mindblowing Experience... Would like to thank each one of you from bottom of my heart.Before recommending us the tour they kept in mind very clear that we will be travelling with 21 months old kid. And trust me my son too had great time. I am so overwhelmed with the service of Star Tours because every place mentioned in the itinerary provided by them they covered each and every place without any skip... and dinner at Indian Restaurants was the cherry on the cake.... Thank you so much for making my Scotland trip a memorable one...Will plan next tour very soon.

They dont know Europe the way they claim to Last year me and my husband took a tour with them and the overall experience was average. Not the bang for the buck we paid to them. The hotels were very ok ok not the greatness expected. TM services were also luke warm. Food was fine but nothing what they have been boasting about all over social media. Travel comfort and cutting corners were becoming much expected everyday. Think twice before traveling with these guys.

My experience with Star Tours UK was very bad last year. First the phone sales didn't know anything and still i went to the website and booked a tour with them, mainly because of the name in the market. The tour was equally bad with the TM being not concerned about providing proper explanation of sights and all. The coaches were not comfortable and was a harrowing ride. The hotels were of very bad choice. Food options were bad as well. DO NOT TRAVEL WITH STAR TOURS.. Everything is cut short.

We took the europe tour by star last year 2018. I am deeply disappointed by the level of service provided by them. Long distances of travel between destinations and hotels. No care provided to seniors on the group or children. Food quality not up to standards as claimed. What sort of company is this running tours in Europe. I am sorry to say it was the biggest mistake of my life to go with them.

I called your customer care to book tour for my parents, it seems he was just reading the page, that I can also do from the website. He had no knowledge of flight, Visa etc. Quite disappointing since I am planning a trip to Europe.

Great trip with a good driver, clean coach, and knowledgeable guide. Dinner was provided at Bhojan group of restaurants which is not good. At least three people had issues with the food provided during the trip. Perhaps, Star tours shall consider providing better quality food in the future. Will definitely go with Star tours but if required I'll eat outside.

From your initial question I had thought you were just having a tour in London (or perhaps a bit of UK as well). Your requirement is different from that.

How many nights in 'total' will you hope to be spending on your trip (total in UK + the other countries) ?

And what's the make-up of your family group, eg how many seniors, adults, children.

The Star Tours coach trip I've just seen does London-France-Germany- Switzerland -France-London for only 6 nights. Sounds like hell for a family group, is that the one you are considering.

Being on a train is far more comfortable than a coach, or even than flying.

I have travelled by train from London to Italy via Geneva and really enjoyed it.

For the amount of money it will be costing you for this trip, it really is worth putting just a bit of time into planning it and being realist about time.

Sujit Shirke Review - Star Tours Scotland Package Reflecting on my recent Scotland tour with Star Tours, led by tour manager Sujit Shirke, I feel compelled to share my experience, which was marred by incidents that fell short of acceptable standards in the realm of customer service. From the outset, our journey was marked by an unfortunate incident. Despite being a mere 15 minutes late to board the bus, Mr. Shirke opted to proceed without us, even as we stood right beside the bus. What followed was an uncomfortable demand for us to leave the tour on the spot, an embarrassing spectacle for all onlookers. This lack of consideration and respect, particularly towards senior female travelers, was an upsetting and unwelcome introduction to the trip. It is also worth noting that Mr. Shirke demanded an apology from us before allowing reboarding, a demand that further exemplified his mishandling of the situation and disregard for customer satisfaction. Regrettably, our travel experience also faced logistical challenges. The absence of phone charging facilities and onboard restrooms on the bus added needless inconveniences that could have been easily mitigated. Furthermore, the time allocated for each tourist destination was disappointingly inadequate. With a mere half-hour granted per location, a substantial portion of this time often dissipated in restroom queues, leaving us with an insufficient 15 minutes to truly appreciate the sights. Our grievances appeared to fall on deaf ears, with Mr. Shirke choosing to grant us entry only after attending to the needs of all other passengers. This approach to conflict resolution only heightened our dissatisfaction. During a designated meal stop, we were unceremoniously rushed through our meal, prompting feelings of discomfort and undue haste during what should have been a leisurely break. Compounding our frustrations, there were instances of misconduct by fellow tourists. Some individuals consumed alcohol on board, in blatant violation of the no-alcohol policy. However, these transgressions seemed to go unchecked, further undermining the integrity of the tour experience. In retrospect, I am deeply disappointed by my decision to choose this particular tour package. I implore Star Tours to reconsider individuals like Mr. Shirke for roles that involve direct customer interaction, as their behavior not only casts a shadow on the tour company's reputation but also reflects negatively on our fellow countrymen traveling abroad. Having spent a month in the UK, I can personally attest to the warmth and graciousness exhibited by the British populace. It is disheartening that incidents like those under Mr. Shirke's management can mar the overall perception of the country. In light of the aforementioned events, I strongly advise against choosing this tour package, as the tour manager's conduct and the overall experience left much to be desired.

We are really happy to express our happiness after finishing this tour, because as we booked by attracted of history in Scotland but star tour's manager made that more historical with providing detail of each and every historical place.

It was a "Historic Scotland" tour of 3night/4days. It wa a very meticulously planned programme keeping in mind the tourists needs. We were never rushed while visiting a place of interest and travel time in between the visiting places we're filled with the historical and economic facts of places we would be visiting next. That's a great information upfront! The tour manager Mr Sanjay Sihag is a man who knows his job well and the historical facts of the places he's taking us to. His time managing skills and keeping the group entertained are really great. Our driver Mr Gary is one cool chap and his driving skills are very good. Even on the narrow roads of hill sides we never had anxious moments. Star tours selection of hotels for stay and restaurants for food are really top class 👌 I would recommend Star Tours to any tourist without any reservations. Keep it up Star Tours, you have many places to take us!

Extremely disappointed from start to finish, coach with a stinking toilet that did not work for the whole trip and no effort to resolve the issue. Substandard accommodation with non A/C rooms and where there was A/C didn’t work and extremely rude hotel staff refusing to speak in English. Food with almost no choice and not even a soft drink at dinner time, also dinner on 2 out of 4 days was around midnight with young children unacceptable (despite running to there schedule) and if by any chance you want to complain there not interested and also block you on Social Media so you can’t comment which is what they have done to at least 5 people who have put honest but negative reviews they have blocked us on Facebook.

Had an amazing European tour with the company. They also helped to process visa and handled financials and valuable documents like BRP and passports with great care. The value for money is amazing.covered the itinerary exceptionally well. Expert tour managers and Mr Raymond, our manager, is a superstar. Will definitely travel again. Highly recommended

We did a day long trip with Star Tours, to Bournemouth and Durdle Door in the first week of June, 2023. First about a few things I liked with Star Tours. The booking was smooth and uneventful. The time provided at different sites was adequate and the programme itself has been well prepared. We departed from Wembley almost on time. The 30-seater coach provided was quite cramped, with very tight space to sit and extremely limited leg room. I do not mind paying more for comfortable space and leg room. The air-conditioner did not work for two hours, when the inside temperature coach exceeded 35deg C and the interiors became oppressive. The cleanliness of the coach could be improved appreciably and the window panes could be kept clean, which will provide an enjoyable view to the passengers. The tour manager was polite and responsive. However, when I compare to the experienced and trained English tour managers, the relevance, frequency and adequacy of information provided leaves a lot to be desired. There was not much desire to proactively engage with the passengers, which is sad. The Tour Manager did not lay down the rules of the game in the beginning of the tour in terms of the need for strict punctuality etc., with the result one or two groups were invariably late (the coach departed Bournemouth half an hour late at 5pm because of late coming pax, arriving London late), putting the other punctual passengers to difficulty. There was no announcement at all about the legal requirement for wearing the seat belt, with the result most passengers in the bus did NOT use the seat belt, which is a dangerous safety lapse. Although the responsibility for wearing the seat belt is that of the passenger concerned, the Tour Manager should ensure that this legal information is shared. In fact, one or two passengers were constantly moving inside the coach for no tangible reason and the Tour Manager had nothing to say about it. At the end of the trip, there was no announcement thanking the passengers on behalf of the company, which was a bit odd. The Hindi songs played (although there were a few passengers were not from India) often were a bit too loud. The driver was ok, barring an occasional lapse of judgement.(The coach was stopped by the Police Patrol for over 5 minutes for a conversation with a driver and I am not sure if this had anything to do with any traffic violation). It is important that the review should be seen in the light of feedback and suggestion for raising the bar.
