The cost of education in Istanbul is lower as compared to its counterparts. Tuition fees for English-taught degree programs can range from USD 450 to 1,500. Living costs in Istanbul may range from USD 500 to 600 per month covering accommodation, food, clothing, books, transportation, and other utilities.

Since the universities can get money from the tuition fees, they can build some new and better facilities for students, such as teaching buildings, a gym, and other recreational facilities. More cash also means the university can offer a higher salary to attract better teachers.

Tuition & Costs

As an online student, you’ll pay the same flat-rate tuition whether you’re earning your degree across the street or across the country.

Your total tuition will depend on your degree program and, if you’re earning a bachelor’s degree, the total number of courses you need to complete your degree.

What is flat-rate tuition?

Flat-rate tuition is the exclusive tuition rate for UL Lafayette online students and includes access to athletics events, online library services, career services, Microsoft Office 365, and IT Support.

You won’t be charged for on-campus services and benefits, so if you’re interested in using the recreation center, on-campus health care, childcare, intramural sports, or transportation, you’ll want to explore our Campus Connection Plan.

Per-credit rates vary slightly by program. For most online degree and certificate programs, flat-rate tuition is set at $380 per credit for undergraduate courses and $480 per credit for graduate courses.

Exceptions are outlined below:

Can I use financial aid to earn my degree online?

You can use financial aid toward your online degree or certificate program, if you qualify.  To determine if you qualify for grants or loans, you must fill out the FAFSA. Submit the free application each year to receive financial aid awards. The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Title IV school code is 002031.

To learn more about types of aid and eligibility, visit the Office of Student Financial Aid website . If you have any questions about Financial Aid at UL Lafayette or filling out the FAFSA, contact our Financial Aid specialist at [email protected]

Are there additional costs or fees?

Expect to buy or rent a textbook for online courses where they are required. Many online courses – including all of our MBA courses – use Open Educational Resources, which are quality learning materials offered at no additional cost to you.

Some online courses may also require that you access proctoring services like ProctorU or Examity for exams.

UL Lafayette’s accreditor, SACS-COC, requires that “at minimum, a secure login and pass code or proctored exam and, as they become available and widely accepted, new identification technologies and practices” be used to identify each student’s identity. The integrity of academic programs at UL Lafayette depends on the institution’s ability to authenticate the identity of online students.
