good to ride in, cooler, but do seem to run big in size/length

Great gear at a great price… the jacket is a bit warm for the hotter days of summer and not enough vents but the armor is distributed around the entire torso. Hopefully I’ll never have to find out if it actually works… items run pretty true to size, as well. Makes ordering online easier..

Sizing information.

These chest sizes seem appropriate, so you can use your suit coat size or chest measurement to double check. You’ll want to check your belly also and make sure that your belly does not exceed 6” less than the chest size above (example, XL/46 will handle a max belly of about 40”). The cut of this jacket is very square in the shoulders, so it will work well for those with average to wide shoulders, but it will be too wide for those with sloped shoulders.

Our Two Cents

The Coaster II jacket has a very nice fit and has a great look for street and cruiser riders. It comes in four colors including Black/Brown for a more vintage look. And to add to the street/cruiser styling, the leather used is a combination of a “stealth” finish leather with some shiny leather accents. The heavy leather combined with the very substantial GP type armor should provide excellent crash protection. This jacket is equipped with two zippered vents on the front torso and two more on the sleeves. There are also two rear release vents. These venting features will keep you comfortable from mild temperatures to pretty warm temperatures. And when it gets colder you can utilize the full sleeve thermal liner which will block some of the air from entering the jacket and give you some insulation against the cold as well. The thermal liner has zip off sleeves, so you can use just the vest part or the liner with full sleeves depending upon the weather. Take the “View Larger Pictures” link above to see some good shots of the liner and the jacket’s other features and to view the leather finish I spoke about above. The jacket comes with a full circumference zipper and a short rear zipper to attach the jacket to any of Tour Master’s leather pants. The Decker pants would be an ideal leather pant choice that would work for street riding and commuting. You could also choose any of the textile pants as well.
