Telangana is the newly born 29th state of India, consisting of the ten north-western districts of Andhra Pradesh. It was originally part of the region comprising Hyderabad in Andhra Pradesh. With the separation, Telangana has got a whole new identity, packed with rich history and culture this state is exploring its tourism strengths.

The capital city of Hyderabad is shared between Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The famous Char Minar is located here, which is also a shared monument among the two states. However, Telangana has a lot more to offer than just that. The Chowmahalla Palace, the Golkonda fort are some of the historically significant sites situated in this state. The Kuntala waterfalls born out of a love story between a prince and a sage's daughter is one the largest waterfalls in this state which offer a cool respite to the tourists. Apart from this, there are many famous temples here such as Bhadrachalam and Mahabalipuram Temples; of which the Mahabalipuram temple is also called the Shore Temple owing to it's proximity to the beach.

The tourism industry has played an important role in the economy of different countries in the last decades. Many countries have considered tourism as a mean for generating more travellers and tourists that resulted in more business and profits in their home countries. The self-developed theoretical model consists of a set of dimensions relating to service quality and satisfaction from the outlook of the hotel guests, who are visiting Kerala hospitality industry, has been developed by the researcher, which is depicted in Figure 1.1. Tourism is growing day by day around the world. In every state, one of their major incomes is from tourism industry itself, so all the governments are promoting tourism industry as much possible. But in Kerala, the liquor policies, harthal are affecting the tourism in flow to certain extent, even though a major portion of the revenue is from tourism industry. Service quality is having a tremendous role in the quality upliftment. Once service quality improves, tourist flow will also increase. This in turn will help the state in building a good image and position in hospitality/Tourism map.

The tourist gets an insight into the rich and diverse cultural heritage of India. Cultural and heritage attractions have the value in devising market strategies that better suit the needs of the cultural and heritage tourist. Warangal is the second largest populated city in Telangana state and has a great historic past. The Government of India recognized Warangal as a ‘Heritage City’ considering its historical importance in the context of Kakatiya dynasty. Satisfaction is a final product of one’s decision making process. To access the final product everyone has to travel a long journey which includes collection of information, evaluation and taking the final product decision. This research paper is designed to give an overview of potential Cultural Heritage tourist sites in Warangal city along with contemporary developments. This Paper aims to cover the feeling and understanding of the value of the stay such as knowledge and experience gained, value of the destination, worth of each rupee spent. It also covers the decision making process in visiting tourist destination, how the tourist expectation are met out, how they feel about destination and whether they can recommend this tourist destination to their friends and relatives. An attempt has been made to assess the level of satisfaction of tourists about the destinations, which include climate, local people, tour operators, infrastructures like roads, transport, traffic, tourism information, shopping centers etc. This aspect helps the tourism planners and local governments to take strategic measures to improve the tourism business.
