Estafa en toda regla. Me cancelaron el vuelo en diciembre por overbooking y sigo esperando que me reembolsen el dinero. ESTAFA! TIMO!

Atención al cliente es excelente - poco frecuente hoy día.

Reservando un vuelo con más que un aerolínea implica algunas confusiones sobre información, pero los agentes de Sky-tours han respondido rápidamente, bien y con educación en cada ocasión. La compra era fácil al principio, y es difícil hoy día encontrar un servicio de atención al cliente bueno después de haber gastado el dinero, que parece lo único que les interesa muchas agencias. Usaré Sky-tours en el futuro.

Les reservé 4 billetes a Menorca y…

Les reservé 4 billetes a Menorca y nunca me los enviaron, me enviaron un email intentando cobrarme mas para enviarme los billetes y me negué y me indicaban que me anularían los billetes, después los compré con la aerolínea y ellos se pusieron en contacto con la misma y me anularon esos billetes también. A fecha de hoy llevo gastados 900€ en billetes y no tengo ningún billete de avión. Esta gente no tiene teléfono de contacto, nadie te resuelve los problemas y el formulario de contacto lo único que hacen son contestaciones sin sentido y sobre todo sin solucionar nada. Les he puesto una denuncia porque estoy desesperada. No compren sus billetes aquí.

HACE UNOS DÍAS COPIÉ ESTO Y LES DI 1 ⭐️ Compré un tiquete para españa el día jueves 13 de abril por soy tours y el pago se débito de mi cuenta. Efectivamente me llegó una confirmación del pago y # de orden #7378156. El día viernes 17 a las 7:50pm le llego un mail (a spam) de que la reserva no pudo ser realizada y que me devolverían el dinero. Tristemente no pude viajar a España y ahora intento comunicarme por diferentes medios con sky tours y no responder en su chat 24/7 tampoco al mail. Incluso llame a argentina a la línea de atención y tampoco responden. Es muy triste que le hagan eso a las personas. Que me recomiendan para recuperar mi dinero? —————————- HOY RECIBÍ MI DINERO TAL CUAL ME RESPONDIERON, muy amable Ericka de soporte siempre estuvo atenta a mis correos. ESTAFA! ESTAFA! ESTAFA!! están denunciados en la policía nacional por haberme hecho perder más de 400e. Compré mis billetes (tenerife_sevilla) el 24 de diciembre a través de transferencia bancaria, al pasar 5 días y no recibir los billetes ni respuesta a emails ni chats de atención al cliente, me dispongo a ir a mi banco para que me retroceda la transferencia. El director me dice que eso no se puede hacer! El dinero ya está en sus manos y eso que en la página ponía que aún no habían mandado los billetes de avión porque estaban "pendiente de pago"... entonces .... donde esta mi dinero??? Son unos estafadores, no compren ningún viaje con ellos!! Desde hace dos años retienen más de 2000€ que pagué por un vuelo que se canceló a causa de la pandemia. Emitieron un vale pero pusieron mil pegas para que no lo pueda usar y ahora se niegan ampliar su fecha de caducidad, comunicándome que el vale ya perdió su valor. Esa gentuza no se merece ni un euro de vuestro dinero!! Me ofrecen otro vuelo alterno por la misma tarifa o cancelar con un reembolso del 100%. Mi experiencia comprando en Sky-Tours está siendo terrible. La opción que me vendieron no la tenían disponible y luego empezó toda la mala experiencia, me escriben a cualquier hora del día o la noche ofreciéndome malas opciones, y cuando finalmente me dan una aceptable, pago de inmediato el costo adicional (ya que esta opción era más cara), confirmo que la acepto y no hacen nada, horas después me envían otra alternativa peor... ya van dos días con stress por no tener mis boletos confirmados, me han solicitado un cobro adicional y encima, no proceden con las compra cuando les confirmo. Terrible!

Lo primero que vemos al entrar en el portal es directamente el buscador, sin mucho más, muy parecido al portal Skyscanner que he comentado en un artículo anterior. Aquí simplemente tenemos que introducir las fechas de ida, vuelta, destino y llegada, anotando si queremos vuelos directos únicamente o no importa que incluya escalas.

Como ejemplo, Trustpilot le otorga una nota media de 8,4 sobre 10 basado en casi 2.000 opiniones de viajeros que lo han utilizado, y sabiendo que el sector de viajes es el que, junto con telefonía, genera más reclamaciones, es una nota bastante decente.

Lo mejor para poder explicar cómo funciona el comparador de vuelos Sky-tours es probándolo, y en este caso he realizado una búsqueda para un viaje a Nueva York con salida desde Madrid, encontrándome con los siguientes precios:

Una ventaja que le veo a Skytours respecto a otros portales como Edreams , es que el precio que te pone ya es total, es decir, que no tienes que sumarle más (a menos que quieras contratar algún extra como equipaje o seguro de viaje), algo que debería ser la norma, pero que en los portales de vuelos, lamentablemente, suele ser la excepción.

También, otra diferencia con el portal Skyscanner que he comentado anteriormente es que Sky-tours sí que te vende el billete directamente, es decir, que no te lleva finalmente al portal de tal o cual compañía.

¿Skytours es realmente fiable?

Me he estado documentando sobre Sky-tours, y realmente no se trata de un chiringuito creado desde un garaje, sino que mucho antes de que existiera como portal, allá por 1973 comenzó a operar en Alemania, dando el salto hace casi 20 años a EEUU, y en la actualidad se encuentra presente en más de 60 países de todo el mundo, siendo uno de los operadores que más billetes de avión vende a escala mundial.

En resumen, Sky-tours es un portal ideal para comprar vuelos baratos, ya que compara miles de vuelos de aerolíneas convencionales y también lowcost, por lo que así te aseguras de tener los vuelos más económicos posibles, y además, con precios finales. Como inconveniente, los resultados se ofrecen en un formato que no es muy cómodo, pero que permite directamente reservar el vuelo desde la misma web, lo que ahorra tiempo. En cuanto a las opiniones, son bastante positivas en base a los resultados de Trustpilot, pero me gustaría que pusieráis en la sección de comentarios vuestras experiencias, tanto positivas como negativas utilizando este portal para que ayuden a otras personas a tener más referencias.

NO RESERVEN CON SKYTOURS. Intenté reservar con ellos y me dio fallo la página en el tramo final, como no recibí ni billete ni confirmación ni habia cargo en la tarjeta, decidi comprar con otra compañia, al cabo de varios dias me hicieron el cargo en la tarjeta y ni si quiera habian enviado billete ni confirmación.

Como ya tenia otro billete les pedi amablemente que me devolvieran el cargo, y me dijeron que no, que el billete ya estaba emitido y no se devolvia. Cuando les dije que no me habian enviado billete, de pronto me enviaron una «copia» del billte «supuestamente enviado» lo cual es falso, asi que deduzco que lo manipularon dado que les amenacé con denunciarles por fraude.

Son unos sirvenguenzas y lo peor es que leyendo en otros foros de hace varios años, no es la primera vez que pasa algo asi. Asi que si sirve de algo NO COMPREN CON ELLOS, ES UNA ESTAFA!!!

Hola Leyal A mi me acaba de pasar que me dio fallo porque mi tarjeta según ellos no esta habilitada y me dice que vuelva a intentar con otra, a ti te decía eso? A mi me pasó algo parecido con Edreams, pero es verdad que cuando un billete esta emitido ya no lo pueden echar atras. A mi me tocó coger un seguro de cancelación y me devolvieron el dinero, pero no el coste del seguro. Con el tema de los billetes de avion hay que tener cuidado, pero no es necesariamente con Skytours, te podría haber pasado con cualquiera

This is a scam website. They booked our flight and charged us (sent us confirmation and itinerary even) but then at some point canceled our booking without notifying us. In response, an email was not sent notifying me of the canceled reservation. A charge was made to the card and email with confirmation sent after booking. We had to book a last minute flight home on the day of travel because Sky Tours failed to communicate.

Similar to others, I booked a ticket on Feb 17th and was cancelled with “dynamic airfares” as an excuse. Then they offerred me another ticket but more pricey. So I canceled my reservation and want my money back but it has been more than 10 days and I still have no update about my status. Totally disapointed, never use this service again. Update: just received an email and they said they have fully refund mine but take more time to show up. At least I know my current status.

SCAM - Run and protect your personal and credit information.

I booked a ticket for my son to go back to school in Florence, Italy with Sky-Tours last Friday - he received an email to view his itinerary on Sunday where he was informed in fine print that his booking was canceled. I truly believe this place is a scam and I hate I put my information on this website including my credit card information. Perhaps this site is used to gather personal information and credit card numbers, etc. I am canceling my credit cards.. I suggest everyone who deals with them would do the same. Made an airline ticket purchase - we were directed from Kayak. Only got a funky confirmation, no airline info Review follow-up: Today, 5 days after the purchase and having filed a clarification with my credit card, the company responded with a valid PNR and airline info. I had requested a refund from Sky tours a couple of hours after the purchase and had not heard from the company until today. I had already made another ticket purchase due to the uncertainty and feeling that I had been scammed.

Ticket could never be confirmed

Sky-Tours could never book the flights, which I originally purchased even after asking additional payment to confirm my reservation. I need some evidence right away that Sky-Tours has already refunded my money for my reservation # 7403411. Because 10 working days or even longer to reflect it back on my bank account sounds too long, I cannot believe any more after checking such bad reviews on Sky-Tours, which I agree. Please send me any evidence of your paying back to my account as soon as possible! Update: I could get the full amount refunded already. Thank you. One more star added. It would be better for Sky-Tours to clearly explain the procedure at the beginning and also when you ask the additional payment. Everyone would expect that the ticket could be confirmed quickly at the original price. We all do not want to chase you to get responses.

The worst ever experience

The worst ever experience with this agency.With my husband we booked the international tickets for 2persons (3flights). We got the confirmation mail with the correct names of the passengers. However, They did a huge mistake on one of the passenger name (they wrote my husband first name as my family name). I couldn't get my boarding tickets because of non matched passenger name with passport. We tried to reach them by many online chat, many calls and many emails. No response from their side, we had to buy new return tickets for additional prices. Waiting their response for refund. ESCAPE.

Cancelled without notification.

I booked 2 fares with them more than 3 weeks prior to departure date. And when I tried to check in for the the flight found out like other reviews that my flights are not confirmed. My credit card was charged and email states booking confirmed. When I try to pull the itinerary on on sky tours then it says cancelled. I understand the part that tickets are not confirmed immediately after purchase but at least this sky tour can send an email that ticket not issued due to whatever reason. Now 4 weeks later closer to my travel date I have to buy international tickets at very high price compare to what initially paid.

Shocking. 3 confirmation emails all exactly the same. Checked my itinerary (Thankfully) only to find out flight had been cancelled. Already applied for visa with this return flight. Where is our reservation?

Hi so we are supposed to flight on March 21st to Puerto Vallarta with Air New Zealand but the receipt also said through United Airlines. No signs of this flight on Air New Zealand website and we never received the ticket, only a receipt. The plane is apparently on United Airlines but I doubt that we actually booked it. Big mistake, DONT

I made the mistake of looking at all the reviews on sky-tours after booking a internal flight in Hawaii. With all the bad reviews I feel anxious, after 24 hours my flight confirmation is still in process. My order number is #7380041, the site is really badly built, no way to access the chat for support. If the company does not give me a follow-up before the end of the day, I intend to contact my banking company to cancel the purchase. I am very disappointed to be part of the long list of dissatisfied customers.

Flight change and no notification

Booked in January for travel on May 20th and tickets were issued. Called the airlines this week to confirm the trip and found out that flight details had changed and sky tours was notified back in January but they failed to update the tickets. Have been trying to reach them for two days now but with no luck. Flight has changed to May 19th departure but tickets are issued for 20th and airline will not allow that. Need to get tickets updated ASAP!!!

Stay away from this tour agency

Stay away from this tour agency! They will scam and ask more money from you. After I made the booking and payment, I received a confirmation email stating that the eticket is under process, waited more than 24 hours status still remain the same. After contacted the support, they sent me an email requesting me to pay additional in order to confirm my reservation. I have left with no choice but made another payment, but still did not receive any confirmation. Support center is not the most helpful as well neither their chat service. Flight tickets international

Booked 2 open-jaw tickets from Turkey to USA. The price was very good specially considering it was during the holidays. I did not have to make any changes to the itinerary which is usually troublesome with low priced tickets. We traveled and came back without issues.

I booked tickets in February for a trip to an international conference I can no longer attend, I am trying to get in touch with Sky-Tours to cancel/refund my trip. I have called, no answer. I have opened two support tickets in the last week, no answer. I called United Airlines and said to have Sky-Tours contact their executive desk to process a refund. I cannot get in touch with a single person at Sky-Tours. I was talking to a live United agent within 5 minutes of calling their support number. Pitiful service, every other review is correct. If you’re wondering if you should book through sky-tours, don’t. Better off booking through the airlines or literally any other company just for peace of mind.

After booking my ticket and upgrading to the fake " platinum service, " I was just informed that I cannot upgrade or make any changes to my flights. This was not disclosed when I was booking the flights. No one answers the phone. “Never book these idiots”

I put 5 stars so that they dont con anyone else. Never ever give them your money.The pretend to book then send another email to claim more money or a worse offer. “NEVER again”

We purchased tickets to fly from Washington DC to Nova Scotia in September 2022 and bought travel insurance since my husband has cancer and his treatment was not yet finalized. We were unable to go and filled out all the papers Sky-Tours requested on time. The agent was very solicitous and said we would hear from the insurance company. We inquired regularly and were told we were in the que. Multiple emails and months later (since they have no phone number) we were told they needed our bank information because our credit card had been compromised and replaced. In March 2023 we got a partial refund, short $400. I sent an email asking why so little and how did they reach that amount and have never heard back from them. Insult to injury our bank charged us to receive a wire transfer!

The reviews are either really good or really bad....what to do.

This company is a scam! They kept on delaying our refunds for a number of flights we booked right before COVID1-9 hit in March 2020, and kept on blaming it on the lengthy reimbursement process between them and the airlines. Then, they issued a voucher which expired in December 2021, but never mentioned that it's either this voucher or nothing at all! Now, I'm asking about the status of my refund from the airlines, which I've been asking about since day 1, and they're saying that I've got no right to any more money anymore as my voucher expired! What kind of theft is this?
