Tickets for the fight between legendary boxer Mike Tyson and social media influencer turned boxer Jake Paul will go on sale at noon on Thursday, May 16 at SeatGeek.com.

Organizers said an unprecedented 120,000 people have signed up for presale access , hoping to see the bout in person on July 20 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington.

The fight, which will be sanctioned as a professional bout, will be eight rounds, consisting of two minutes each. Tyson last fought in an exhibition match in 2020, but his last professional fight took place in 2005.

The Tyson-Paul fight isn't the only bout on the card. Fighters Katie Taylor (23-1, 6 KOs) and featherweight champ Amanda Serrano (46-2-1, 30 KOs) will also square off in a rematch. The two previously achieved the first-ever sold-out women's headline boxing event at Madison Square Garden where Taylor beat Serrano in a tight split decision.

The fighters will meet next week at press conferences touting the upcoming bouts -- May 13 in NYC and May 16 in Arlington.

Additional undercard bouts will be announced at a later date.

In addition to general tickets, promoters are making available several VIP packages including an "owner's experience" going for $2 million . The owner's experience will include a stay for 10 in a luxury penthouse hotel room along with "unparalleled seats, access, and amenities during fight week and on fight night." The seats include two ringside apron seats that have never been offered in boxing before along with four first-row seats and four second-row seats.

"The fight night Experience includes an exclusive stadium arrival experience, security and escort during the night, a pre-fight in locker room photo with each of Jake Paul and Mike Tyson, gloves signed by both fighters, a private green room with a top shelf open bar and all-inclusive food menu, and a post-fight in-ring photo opportunity for the group."

If you can't afford to shell out $2 million for the top-tier package, there are other VIP packages available.

CHAMPIONSHIP PACKAGE

The Champion Package will include premium floor seat locations in rows 2-4 on fight night, with a VIP parking pass and expedited premium stadium entrance, along with ringside club hospitality access with a top-shelf open bar, and all-inclusive food menu, meet and greet appearances from current and former boxing legends and celebrities, and a post-fight in-ring photo opportunity. Champion ticket holders will also be provided VIP lounge access and VIP seating for all Paul vs. Tyson fight week events and activations from Wednesday, July 17 through Friday, July 19.

CONTENDER PACKAGE

The Contender Package will feature premium floor seat locations in rows 4-6, with a VIP parking pass and expedited premium stadium entrance. Guests will have access to the Fighter Walk Lounge hospitality on fight night with a top-shelf open bar and all-inclusive food menu. Contender ticket holders will be provided VIP lounge access and reserved seating at all Paul vs. Tyson fight week events and activations from Wednesday, July 17 through Friday, July 19.

Secondary market sites like Gametime have released ticket prices for the event. CNBC reported the lowest-cost tickets are available for $357 each, and ringside seats are selling for $8,067 each.

If you're unable to get a ticket, the event will also be streamed live on Netflix with current subscribers able to watch with no additional cost.

As a two-time undisputed world champion and Olympic gold medallist, there's not much that Katie Taylor hasn't achieved in boxing .

But while sitting on the stage next to her boxing icon, Mike Tyson, in New York City , she admitted that she was "pinching herself" during the most surreal moment of her life.

"The last year my family said 'Is there anything I want to do before I retire?' One of the things I said was, 'I'd love to meet Mike Tyson' and here he is beside me," Taylor said during Monday's fight press conference.

The fight will be available to all Netflix subscribers across the globe, with no pay-per-view fees with just the monthly subscription fee required. Around 270 million people have access to the event on July 20 with more expected to sign up ahead of the bout.

"The last time Amanda and I fought it was an incredible fight. We get to do it again, it's amazing for the sport, live on Netflix, thank you to Netflix, this is iconic," Taylor said.

Long-time Pink Floyd member David Gilmour just announced he will perform four U.S. concerts this year as part of an international tour in support of his forthcoming solo album “Luck and Strange.”

His first two North American gigs will be at Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and Wednesday, Oct. 30 .

After that, the 78-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer drops into the Big Apple for a pair of concerts at New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Monday, Nov. 4 and Tuesday, Nov. 5 .

While we can’t confirm or deny whether Gilmour will perform Pink Floyd classics in addition to solo tracks on this brief jaunt, records show he has played favorites like “The Great Gig in the Sky,” “Wish You Were Here,” “Money,” “Time” and “Comfortably Numb” at concerts in year’s past, according to Set List FM .

Politics | Walz signs ‘Taylor Swift bill’ … at First Avenue nightclub in Minneapolis

New state law aims to protect ticket buyers with more transparency and requirements for sellers.

The law, prompted by the frustration a legislator felt at not being able to buy tickets to Swift’s 2023 concert in Minneapolis, will require ticket sellers to disclose all fees up front and prohibit resellers from selling more than one copy of a ticket, among other measures. The law will apply to tickets purchased in Minnesota or other states for concerts or other live events held in Minnesota.

Walz signed House File 1989 — a reference to Swift’s birth year and an album with that title — at First Avenue, a landmark nightclub and concert venue in downtown Minneapolis.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that we would be at a bill signing for House File 1989 at First Avenue,” said Democratic Rep. Kelly Moller of Shoreview, chief author of the bill.

Moller was among thousands of people who became stuck in ticket sales company Ticketmaster’s system after it crashed in 2022 amid the huge demand for Swift concert tickets and attacks from bots, which tried to buy tickets for resale at inflated prices. The situation led to congressional hearings but no federal legislation.

Supporters of Minnesota’s new law say the state joins Maryland as among the few states to pass protections for ticket buyers into law.

Ticketmaster did not immediately respond to a request for comment on the new Minnesota law. Taylor Swift’s media team also did not respond.

Jessica Roey, a spokesperson for reseller StubHub, said in an email, “StubHub has long advocated for legislation that protects fans from anti-competitive and anti-consumer practices in the ticket buying process. We share the goals of HF1989 and look forward to continuing discussions with policymakers to advance policies that provide more transparency, more control, and more choice for ticket buyers.”

Walz, a Democrat, said the new law is “protection so you don’t get a bad ticket, a fraudulent ticket, and resellers can’t snatch them all up before you get an opportunity.”

Two young girls — one wearing a shirt that said “A LOT going on at the moment” in a nod to Swift, and another wearing a shirt that said “Iowa 22” in reference to basketball star Caitlin Clark — attended the bill signing with their dad, Mike Dean, who testified in support of the bill this year.

Dean said his daughter “came to me in December and said, ‘Dad, I want to go to see Caitlin Clark.’ As a father, I just couldn’t resist. And so I went online to go buy tickets.”

The tickets were supposed to cost $300 total, Dean said, but they ended up costing over $500 because of hidden fees. The timer had begun in the online checkout process, so he had just minutes to decide whether to buy the tickets or lose them.

He ultimately bought the tickets. But Dean said these practices mean customers can’t make informed decisions. The new law, he said, will bring transparency to the process.

The law takes effect Jan. 1, 2025, and applies to tickets sold on or after that date.

Adrianna Korich, director of ticketing at First Avenue, said she supports the new rules, saying fans are sometimes tricked into paying up to 10 times a ticket’s face value because of deceptive websites and resellers who list tickets without actually possessing them. The new law bans both, she said.

“We have all heard the horror stories from the Taylor Swift Eras tour and have seen the astronomical prices that are being charged at checkout,” Korich said.

Taylor Swift kicks off her European leg of 'Eras Tour.' Here's the full list of show dates

Taylor Swift is beginning the European leg of her "Eras Tour" journey, starting in the City of Light.

On May 9, Swift is set to take the stage for a performance at the Paris La Defense Arena, followed by three more nights of shows in Paris. after that. This week marks her "Eras Tour" return since she last performed at the National Stadium in Singapore on March 9.

Fans are also excited to see how Swift might incorporate her new album "The Tortured Poets Department," which came out April 19, into her "Eras Tour" performances moving forward.

Swift is set to have her last international show in London, where she will perform five shows at Wembley Stadium between Aug. 15 and Aug. 20, before heading to the U.S. and Canada .

In June 2023, Swift announced a total of 50 international dates on social media and on her website .

“EXCUSE ME HI I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY,” she penned on Twitter and Instagram June 20, 2023. “I can’t wait to see so many of you on The Eras Tour next year at these new international dates! Visit TaylorSwift.com/tour for more information on your registrations, pre-sales and on-sales!!”

As for who will be joining Swift on the stage, the "Cruel Summer" singer shared in July 2023 that Paramore would be touring with her as the opening act of some of her international shows, starting May 9, 2024, through the end of August.

How to get tickets to international shows on Taylor Swift’s 'Eras Tour'

The “Shake It Off” singer’s fan base infamously crashed Ticketmaster when they overcrowded the system while trying to buy tickets when they went live on Nov. 15, 2022. Since then, the platform has employed a new ticket purchasing process that has kept crashes at bay — so far.

The new purchasing multi-step process first requires pre-registration in order to be eligible for pre-sales and regular sales. However, pre-sales and registration are closed for all current international tour dates.

Fans who are interested in attending an international show can try purchasing tickets on reseller sites such as StubHub and SeatGeek.

Resale tickets are available for Timberwolves playoff games following their win in Denver on Monday night, but scoring seats for the next home game will not be cheap.

The Timberwolves blew out the Nuggets 106-80 on Monday, effectively destroying the best team in the NBA last year. Game 3 of the series is Friday night at Target Center.

"This is the most sought-after ticket I've ever seen in our 30 years here," Michael Nowakowski, owner of Ticket King in Minneapolis, said on Tuesday. The Wolves looked good from the start of Monday night's game, and Nowakowski said within 10 minutes of the game starting, the resale website started going crazy. It's been rocking and rolling ever since, he said, with thousands of tickets sold since.

Resale tickets are the only option left for Friday, and prices are at a premium. Nosebleed seats are running at least $300, and getting closer gets even more pricey: Expect to be out about $1,000 to sit in the lower bowl.

If you've really got it like that, you can spend anywhere from $4,000 to $17,000 per ticket to sit courtside. Eras Tour , what?

Minnesota sports fans are starved for a winning team in any sport. "They want something to cheer for, they want someone to follow, and the Timberwolves are giving them that," Nowakowski said.

Tickets for each of the upcoming scheduled games Friday, Sunday and next Thursday (if necessary) are labeled "selling fast" on ticket resale website StubHub. There's a notice across the top of the site's Timberwolves page stating it has sold more than 250 tickets for the team in the past day.

While ticket prices sometimes fall as games approach, Nowakowski predicted that in this case prices will keep ticking up as Friday approaches, and the number of available seats keeps falling short of demand.
