Rainbow Road (Wii)

Rainbow Road is the last track of the Special Cup in Mario Kart Wii . This Rainbow Road iteration has a Super Mario Galaxy theme that features sharp turns, half-pipes , alternate pathways and a cannon known as the Star Shooter .

This Rainbow Road track makes a retro appearance in Mario Kart Tour as of the 2023 Space Tour . It returns yet again in the sixth and last wave of the Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as the fourth and last track in the Spiny Cup , making it the last track in the DLC as well as the final course in the entire 96 course-filled game.

Mario Kart Wii [ ]

This variation of Rainbow Road features a narrow and translucent track with pastel colors unlike previous Rainbow Roads, and almost no guardrails, making it easy to fall off. This course features the only mandatory half-pipe pad in the entire Mario Kart series. It also has a cannon called the Star Shooter that shoots racers up like the pipe on Mario Kart: Double Dash!! 's iteration of Rainbow Road , though it resembles more of a rainbow tunnel. This Rainbow Road is filled with Dash Panels , with most of them bearing a Star Ring within them. This iteration appears to take place just above Earth's stratosphere, showing parts of the world, most notably, Canada and Greenland.

In terms of its layout, racers start with a long straightaway that leads to a downhill slope, consisting of a wide Dash Panel and a shorter Dash Panel on each side of the track, with the one of the right side in front. The road then goes bends upwards, before a Dash Panel ramp that goes over a gap. A sharp left turn follows, as well as a short straightaway with three Dash Panels close to each other, just before a left u-turn that utilises a half-pipe. The turn leads to a wavy straightaway where racers can perform tricks on. This road features some Item Boxes and many Star Bits floating nearby. The road ends off with another Dash Panel ramp.

Upon landing, racers come across a figure-eight section follows with red ramps circling around of middle of the holes, allowing racers to jump across them with enough speed or precision. The outside bends of the figure eight section feature half-pipes that hold Item Boxes. After this section, a sharp left and a long right takes racers to the Star Shooter.

The Star Shooter takes racers high up to a short right turn, which has a upwards left turn with Dash Panels right after it that leads to a unique type of half-pipe ramp with rings within that takes racers over a gap. They then land on a wide straightaway, which happens to split into two, where each path bends to the opposite side from the start of the split. Each split path features two Dash Panels and a jumpable gap with many Dash Panels at the end, which take racers to another short straightaway. Then there is just one final turn to the Finish Line : a wide left u-turn with three Dash Panels that is surrounded by a starry tunnel. After this turn, the road narrows back to normal.

Mario Kart Tour [ ]

Wii Rainbow Road in MKT

Rainbow Road as seen in Mario Kart Tour .

Rainbow Road makes its first reappearance over 14 years later in Mario Kart Tour as the premiere track of the 2023 Space Tour , being the first track from Mario Kart Wii's Special Cup to return in a future installment. It received various visual upgrades, aesthetic, and gameplay changes. Firstly, many of the star rings around the track have been redesigned, giving then a more disco-esc feel, and most of them are much bigger than previously. Additionally, the rainbow road itself has been changed to feature more darker colors, as opposed to the pastel colors it used before. A giant moon-like object can now be seen just to the right of the big drop at the beginning, and it features a rocket ship, just like the ones seen in 3DS Rainbow Road . As well as this, more celestial objects have been added around the course overall. More arrow signs have also been added, and they now are in the same style as the ones seen in SNES Rainbow Road . Alongside this, the half-pipes from the original have been retained in this version, as with all returning Wii courses in this game. The two big holes around the mid-part of the track now lack the ramps from the original, meaning racers can no longer jump across the holes. The course is also now a single lap with two sections instead of three laps, with the second section starting at the Star Shooter , which now has a glide ramp just before it.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe [ ]

This iteration of Rainbow Road returns as the final course of the Spiny Cup in the Booster Course Pass DLC as well as the final course in the DLC and the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe game overall. The course is inspired heavily from the aesthetic and design of its Tour counterpart, but has been given a major visual overhaul. The road's colors have been brightened to better resemble its original variant, but still retains the grid textures. Similarly to the remaster of 3DS Rainbow Road in this game, a bright neon border has been added to the road, though it is colored yellow instead of blue. In addition, The star ring tunnel designs have been updated once more and now feature a sort of RGB background to them. More star bits have been added compared to the Tour version, especially on the final turn.

Wii Rainbow Road in MK8DX img2

As for gameplay, the entire course is now Anti-gravity , making it the fifth track in the game to do so. Other than that, not much has changed besides the addition of Anti-gravity and some Spin Boost Pillars , as well as the addition and elimination of some railings. Furthermore, the jump ramps around the two big holes removed in Tour have been restored. The positions of the Dash Panels with star rings on the final turn of the course have noticeably been inverted. The atmosphere reentry effect from the original version of the course has been retained, along with the course once again being three laps unlike the Tour iteration. The mini-map has also been rotated 90 degrees compared to previous versions. Finally, the music also no longer skips the intro of the song on the third lap and instead plays it from the beginning like most other tracks.

Shortcuts [ ]

  • At the beginning of a lap, shroom and then press the jump button at the right time, this will make you fly in the air and end up at the ramp. ✱   for MKWii
  • When you reach the part of the track with two holes, use a mushroom or a Star and jump over the holes. It's required to do a trick; otherwise, it won't work.
  • After clearing the area with two holes, use a Mushroom, Star, or wheelie (either if you have done the second shortcut, or by using the half-pipe), and skip the first turn by going into space to the left of it.
  • Once you reach the half-pipe jump section after the Star Shooter, cutting inside the uphill turn will allow you to completely skip the prolonged half-pipe jump. If done correctly, this can save a moderate amount of time. ✱   for MK8

Trivia! [ ]

  • This track is considered to be one of the hardest tracks in Mario Kart Wii and in the entire Mario Kart series due to having many sharp and unstable turns, and almost all of the track has no guardrails, making it very common for players to fall off the track.
  • This is also the longest three-lap DLC track of the Booster Course Pass and the longest course overall in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe .
  • This was the second Rainbow Road course to have Earth in the background; the GBA iteration was the first.
  • When drifting on this track with manual drift on, a different sound is heard rather than the tires squeaking. This trait has been kept for later games in their Rainbow Roads .
  • This effect was removed in Mario Kart Tour , but was restored in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe .

Mario Kart is known for both establishing and ruining friendships. One of the best parts of the series is its iconic courses, and none are more legendary than Rainbow Road. It is featured in every game, providing endless smiles and rage-quit moments.

12 Best Tracks From The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass

Take a trip down memory lane with the best tracks from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Booster Course Pass.

Rainbow Road has eight main entries, with some versions being remade in later games. Some courses offer obstacles and curves, while others throw jumps and multiple tiers to navigate. No matter which one you're racing on, you're bound to have a good time. Invite some friends over, pick your favorite character, and try not to fall off Rainbow Road!

Updated on November 19, 2023, by PJ Molloy: It's a bittersweet time for Mario Kart fans. The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass DLC has finally ended, adding eight new characters and 48 tracks to this beloved title. If that wasn't enough, Nintendo will no longer be adding content to Mario Kart Tour.

There’s a lot to love about Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s DLC , but the remade versions of some iconic Rainbow Road tracks are the best parts. Similarly, Mario Kart Tour provides two remixes of classic Rainbow Road courses. With support for these titles ending, now is the perfect time to see how the new Rainbow Road tracks compare to the classics.

The following tracks are ranked based on difficulty, uniqueness, ascetics, and fun factor.

10 SNES Rainbow Road - Super Mario Kart

You have to start somewhere.

The Rainbow Road that started it all makes for a perilous race, with vicious Thwomps that try to crush you and no guard rails to save you from plummeting to your doom. However, that's all there is to this course, making it feel a bit dull by today's standards.

The remastered version from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe offers a tiny coat of fresh paint by having the Thwomps shake the road when crashing to the ground, providing makeshift ramps to trick off. It's a welcome addition that adds some oomph to this classic track, but it still falls short compared to its successors.

9 RMX Rainbow Road 2 - Mario Kart Tour

A slight update to a classic track.

RMX Rainbow Road 2 is the second Mario Kart Tour track inspired by the original Rainbow Road from Super Mario Kart. This version borrows the track design and obstacles while adding a new twist for some extra pizzazz.

The gimmick here is that the road is filled with large, bouncy mushrooms that act as trampolines. They undoubtedly make the course more interesting, but it doesn't address the track's simplistic design or make any significant changes. It's a step up from the original, but not by much.

8 RMX Rainbow Road 1 - Mario Kart Tour

A better take on snes rainbow road.

The first remixed Rainbow Road track from Mario Kart Tour adds a more interesting twist than its successor. This time, the track includes a few gliding sections where you're launched into the air and must dodge massive asteroids before landing.

Mario Kart: Every Game In The Series Officially Ranked

Nintendo's kart racer has spanned decades with multiple entries. Which Mario Kart entry is the best?

This new idea offers a much better challenge than RMX Rainbow Road 2, making for a more engaging race. It's a refreshing way to update a classic Mario Kart track, and it works fine for a mobile game. Despite that, the simplicity and lack of major design changes keep it from being one of the best.

7 Rainbow Road - Mario Kart: Super Circuit

The perfect course for speedrunners.

Super Circuit's Rainbow Road is pure eye candy. There's a surprising number of things to see for a Game Boy Advance title, like shooting stars that crash onto the road and thunderclouds that shrink you if you pass under them. Bowser's Castle from Paper Mario even makes a cameo in the background.

As for the track design, it's understandably plain, given the GBA's hardware limitations. Luckily, the course is packed with sharp turns, jumps, and hidden shortcuts to make things interesting. Despite its simplicity, Rainbow Road makes the best of the hardware and remains a fun course.

6 N64 Rainbow Road - Mario Kart 64

A nostalgic track with an even better remake.

N64 Rainbow Road is a legendary course, thanks to the gorgeous fireworks resembling the character's faces and its whimsical music track. Despite that, this stage is held back from being the best Rainbow Road course due to its easy-to-dodge Chain Chomps, guard rails that prevent you from falling, and tedious length.

Thankfully, the remake from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe fixes most of those issues, while adding new surprises. The Chain Chomps take up most of the road, a flying train tosses coins onto the track, and the course has been shortened to a much more reasonable length. While the N64 version feels like a chore, the Switch remake is a thrill to speed through.

5 Rainbow Road - Mario Kart DS

A giant roller coaster in the sky.

Rainbow Road from Mario Kart DS feels like a cosmic roller coaster. The track is filled with loops, spirals, curves, and well-placed boost pads to help things speed along. With little guard rails to help you, you need to stay on your toes if you want to zoom into first place.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: All DLC Racers, Ranked

From Birdo to Peachette, here are the best DLC racers in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

While there aren't any unique set pieces or concepts, the many twists and turns keep you enthralled from start to finish. Overall, it's a solid Rainbow Road course, albeit a little too easy to fall off. At least Lakitu stays employed.

4 Rainbow Road - Mario Kart Double Dash

An underrated gem of a mario kart track.

It's a shame this version of Rainbow Road never returned because it's a gem of a course. This track is a spectacle to behold, with a stunning view of a city to provide a unique flare. To top it all off, there are plenty of boost pads, sharp corners, and spirals to keep you hooked until you reach the finish line.

Thanks to Double Dash's character-specific special items, this version of Rainbow Road offers a distinct challenge compared to others. The track is pretty narrow, meaning a well-timed giant banana peel from Donkey Kong or a massive Koopa shell from Bowser requires expert skill to avoid. Good luck!

3 Rainbow Road - Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

An epic anti-gravity race.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe's Rainbow Road stands out for taking you off the road to launch you into a massive space station. This segment offers a delightful challenge, thanks to its conveyor belts, which can either help or hinder you depending on the direction they move.

The anti-gravity mechanic blends perfectly with Rainbow Road's sci-fi concept. Since bumping into other racers gives you a speed boost in anti-gravity mode, you must race strategically to ensure you don’t accidentally boost out of bounds. With plenty of twists, branching paths, and gorgeous set pieces, this Rainbow Road is a dream come true for Mario Kart fans.

2 Wii Rainbow Road - Mario Kart Wii

An oustanding throwback to super mario galaxy.

If you like Super Mario Galaxy , you'll love Wii Rainbow Road. With dozens of star bits littered across the track, launch stars that propel you into the air, and a stunning view of Earth beneath you, this course provides the same liberating sensation of soaring through space as Mario's beloved Wii adventure.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe: The Best Booster Course Shortcuts

Knowing shortcuts is half the battle in Mario Kart 8!

Wii Rainbow Road was remade for wave six of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass , and it's still a joy to play. The new graphics emphasize the vibrant colors, ensuring every second of the race is breathtaking. This track is just as thrilling as when it debuted in Mario Kart Wii.

1 3DS Rainbow Road - Mario Kart 7

The best rainbow road track.

3DS Rainbow Road is nothing short of a magical journey through the wonders of Outer Space. One moment, you're speeding across the rings of a planet. Next, you're dodging massive Chain Chomps on the moon. This course offers so many surprising twists and thrilling ideas that it's enough to make you stare in awe.

The best part about 3DS Rainbow Road is that every lap is different and introduces a new, exciting idea. This course was remade in wave three of the Booster Course Pass , allowing you to experience this majestic track on the TV for the first time. This version is not only the best Rainbow Road track; it's one of the best Mario Kart courses ever.

Karts are the main vehicles in the Mario Kart series . They can come in various sizes and colors for each character. While early Mario Kart games only depicted one kart, the Pipe Frame , subsequent games have introduced newer karts with their own distinct appearances and stats such as speed, acceleration and handling. Usually, the kart that is closest to average in terms of stats in each game is defined as the Standard Kart .

Karts have also appeared in other game series and media such as in the Super Smash Bros. series , comics, and toys.

History [ edit ]

Mario kart series [ edit ], super mario kart [ edit ].

In Super Mario Kart , Pipe Frames are the only kart in the game. The term "kart" also applies to the extra lives a driver has in Grand Prix mode. In the mode, all drivers start out with three karts, and one kart is lost when a driver comes in 5th place or lower or by retrying a race. When all karts are lost, the player is forced to exit to the title screen. It is possible to regain one more kart in the Grand Prix by placing the same position three times in a row.

Mario Kart 64 [ edit ]

Pipe Frames return in Mario Kart 64 , with slight design changes and new sounds. Depending on the characters that use them, karts pertain to one of three weight classes: light, medium, and heavy. Lights are karts that show a high speed but a fairly low endurance. Medium karts show all-around traits, whereas Heavy karts have high endurance but poor speed.

Every kart has its own stats, which are qualified by the amount of stars on its acceleration, speed, and weight. In general however, lightweight karts have a high acceleration, but a fair low speed and endurance. Medium-weight karts have balanced stats, whereas heavyweight karts show a high top speed and endurance, and low acceleration. There are twenty-one karts in the game.

Mario Kart Arcade GP subseries [ edit ]

In Mario Kart Arcade GP , all the characters use a kart with rounded details and a solid build as opposed to other previous Mario Kart games. However, in Mario Kart Arcade GP 2 , the characters have an option to choose a secondary kart that was made for them. In Mario Kart Arcade GP DX , there are now different karts that can be used by drivers.

Just as in Mario Kart: Double Dash!! , all the karts are rated by the amount of the stars for each aspect. Regarding to the character selected, they can be light, medium, or heavy, emphasizing one of these aspects for the vehicle available. Some karts return in later installments and are listed in bold .

Mario Kart DS [ edit ]

In Mario Kart DS , Standard Karts replace Pipe Frames in the game. These karts are redesigned, having white bumpers and a frame of different color palettes that matches the character's custom color. The emblem of the character is shown over the hood, although the player can replace it with their own in the emblem maker option . Additionally, every character can select at least one of three vehicles (excluding Shy Guy , having only his Standard SG), exclusive for being rather different in design and stats than the character's Standard Kart. While a Standard Kart has plain stats, the other vehicles can have a high speed, acceleration or items ratio, depending on what the vehicle is made for. Every Kart is qualified by six ratings:

  • Acceleration: The time for achieving the top speed. Lightweight karts like Yoshi 's Standard YS have the highest acceleration rating.
  • Speed: The top speed level when a kart moves forward. Most of the karts within the heavyweight class show the highest speed rating.
  • Weight: The kart's endurance. When a kart has a higher weight, it is capable of knocking lighter karts further.
  • Drifting: The friction power of the kart when turns by powersliding . A high drifting rate makes the kart turn tighter.
  • Handling: The control over the vehicle in all type of terrains. The strength of the Mini-Turbo boost caused by drifting also depends on how high the kart's handling is.
  • Items: The variety of items to obtain in an Item Box . As the kart's item stat is high, the character can receive rarer items more commonly. The smaller the kart's wheels, the lower the meter is for the Items stat.

Mario Kart Wii [ edit ]

In Mario Kart Wii , karts are once again redesigned with various details added than they appeared formerly. Similar to Mario Kart DS , the typical go-karts receive the name of Standard Karts, and are classified according to the size of the vehicle, split in three groups: Standard Kart S for small-sized characters; Standard Kart M for medium size characters and Standard Kart L for large characters. Though weight classes are replaced for size classes, the general aspects of the karts are the same as appeared throughout the series.

  • Speed: The level of the top speed.
  • Weight: The strength of the vehicle to knock apart others.
  • Acceleration: The time to achieve the top speed.
  • Handling: The control of the vehicle.
  • Drift: The friction power of the vehicle.
  • Off-road: The speed of the vehicle over rough terrain.
  • Mini-turbo: The power of the momentary speed burst after drifting or making a trick.

The Karts and newly-introduced Bikes can be divided into six classes of vehicle counterparts based on their stats. In addition, each racer can vary the kart's custom stats with the bonus points they have for each feature and select other five karts in the determined character's size. Unlike in other games, every kart has a unique color scheme for the players using it. Unlike Bikes, Karts cannot perform wheelies. However, they can release a more powerful boost by drifting than a bike, depending how long the respective button is pressed. Compared to bikes, karts generally offer superior speed and weight in exchange for being weaker in every other stat. Additionally, bikes have six trick variants while karts only have three.

Mario Kart 7 [ edit ]

Karts return in Mario Kart 7 , with the Standard Karts having a similar design to their appearance from Mario Kart DS . Karts now deploy gliders if a character is propelled in the air from a high place to help them glide, and when underwater, a propeller appears at the back to help push the kart along. Players are able to customize their karts as well by selecting different tires and gliders.

Mario Kart Tour [ edit ]

Karts make their reappearance in Mario Kart Tour , where they are now acquired randomly through Pipes or Spotlight Shop, which cost rubies . In addition, Karts are sorted into three rarities: Normal, Super, and High-End, with the last ones being rarer, and overall being more powerful. Unlike in previous games, the player cannot customize their karts, and karts no longer have different stats. Karts now boost the points obtained in racers, and all of them have different skills which can also boost points.

Mario and Luigi driving karts

In the Club Nintendo comic " Die Jagd nach dem Nintendo 64: Krawall im All ", Mario and Luigi are seen driving karts in their mission to find a spaceship shaped like the Nintendo 64 . They compete against Wario and Bowser and they drop Banana Peels to make Wario and Bowser crash. The karts in this comic resemble those from Mario Kart 64 . Unlike their video game equivalents, though, they can also be turned into jet skis by pushing a button on their steering-wheels.

Mario Kirby Meisaku Video [ edit ]

A Pipe Frame appears in the Mario segment of the Mario Kirby Meisaku Video where Mario drives it during his pursuit of W . After being attacked by some monsters, the kart spins out near a vegetable garden.

Super Mario-kun [ edit ]

Karts are commonly seen in the Mario Kart adaptions of Super Mario-kun , where they are used in races against other racers.

Super Smash Bros. series [ edit ]

Super smash bros. melee [ edit ].

In Super Smash Bros. Melee , there is a collectible trophy of a red Pipe Frame , but it is called "Racing Kart," associating it with karts in general.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl [ edit ]

Karts make a brief appearance in Super Smash Bros. Brawl . Unlike in Melee , where they appear as trophies, they are obstacles for the Mario Circuit battle stage. All the karts are as seen in Mario Kart DS , driven by red Shy Guys competing a race, while characters carry out their battle there. The karts tend to pass in the road where contestants fight, dealing damage to anybody who makes contact with them. Characters can use their moves against karts to send them flying away. Unlike how they looked in Mario Kart DS , Karts come in various colors, and their bumpers and emblems are colored differently as well.

Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U [ edit ]

Karts driven by Shy Guys reappear in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS on the Rainbow Road stage, as well as in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U on both the new Mario Circuit stage and the one returning from Super Smash Bros. Brawl . Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and Donkey Kong are also seen driving karts in Rosalina's reveal trailer.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate [ edit ]

The aforementioned stages except for Rainbow Road and their kart obstacles return in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate .

Paper Mario series [ edit ]

Paper mario: the thousand-year door [ edit ].

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door , one of Luigi's adventures takes place at Circuit Break Island, where the citizens have kart races every day. Luigi begs Torque to let him drive a kart, called the Big Green 01, and instantly wrecks it. Unable to pay and repair the kart, Torque follows Luigi to Rogueport .

Paper Mario: Color Splash [ edit ]

Luigi mentioning Lakitu in Paper Mario: Color Splash.

In Paper Mario: Color Splash , after Mario collects the green Big Paint Star from the Emerald Circus , it flies off the map to restore Luigi's kart's colors somewhere off-screen before returning to the Prisma Fountain . When the Big Paint Stars form a rainbow road up to Black Bowser's Castle , Luigi drives to Port Prisma in his kart, and he later transports Mario and Huey to the castle. After Mario and Huey defeat Black Bowser and rescue Princess Peach , Luigi, Princess Peach, and Mario drive back to Port Prisma in Luigi's kart.

Paper Mario: The Origami King [ edit ]

In Paper Mario: The Origami King , Luigi uses his kart to drive Mario to Toad Town , stopping in front of Princess Peach's Castle. Later, the kart is seen tipped over at the castle grounds, and Luigi drives it again after being rescued from inside a wall. Near the end of the game, Luigi finds the Key to Peach's Castle in his kart's tailpipe.

Mario Kart 8 From the Pit [ edit ]

In Super Mario Run , Mario and his kart appears as a statue.

Item description [ edit ]

  • Mario Kart: " Start your engines! Looking at this statue may give you the urge to drift, but try to be careful. "

The Super Mario Bros. Movie [ edit ]

Stuart from the Despicable Me series riding on a kart in the Illumination logo for The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

In The Super Mario Bros. Movie , Stuart from the Despicable Me and Minions series uses a kart in the Illumination logo prior to the opening. When Mario , Princess Peach , and Toad arrive at the Jungle Kingdom , the Kong that greets them brings them to Cranky Kong on a kart. When it goes off a ramp, it opens its glider. After Cranky Kong suggests using karts to return to the Mushroom Kingdom , the group go to the kart workshop to build their own vehicles. Mario builds a kart resembling the Standard Kart M and Pipe Frame while Toad builds a kart resembling the Tiny Titan . The group are joined by Donkey Kong , Cranky Kong, and the Great Kong Army on their own karts to drive down the secret passage and Rainbow Road . While the group drive down Rainbow Road, the Koopa Troop ambush them with their own karts. Some resemble the Bullet Bike with Banzai Bill faces, while others are equipped with cannons that fire Green Shells and Bullet Bills . The karts built by the Kong Army are powered by banana juice, while the karts built by the Koopa Troop are powered by lava . [1]

Other appearances [ edit ]

In the Nintendogs , it is possible to find Mario, Peach, and Bowser Karts from Mario Kart DS , They play the GCN Mario Circuit , GCN Peach Beach , and Bowser's Castle music from Mario Kart: Double Dash!! , respectively, when used. Mario and Peach Karts also return Nintendogs + Cats , with the Bowser Kart being replaced by the Yoshi Kart. When used, Mario, Peach and Yoshi karts play the Mario Circuit , DS Peach Gardens , and DS Yoshi Falls music from Mario Kart Wii , respectively.

Names in other languages [ edit ]

Trivia [ edit ].

  • The Kart appears in Nintendo Monopoly under the name " Mario Kart ", where it replaces Reading Railroad as a purchasable vehicle. It costs $200. There is also a Coin Block / Brick Block card that charges the player $150 for renewing their Kart license in the 2006 version, and only $50 in the 2010 version. The ? Block card in both versions allows the player to take a spin in the kart, which advances them to the Mario Kart space along with a $200 passing Go bonus.

  9. Mario Kart: Every Version Of Rainbow Road, Ranked

  10. Wii Rainbow Road became a section track for its introduction in MK Tour

Most tracks in Mario Kart are composed of a unique lap, which is run 3 times by the racers. But a few tracks are instead divided in sections, for instance in MK8 there are N64 Rainbow Road, 3DS Rainbow Road, Mount Wario, Big Blue or some of the city tracks. So section tracks are not unique to Tour. And they're not bad per se : when a track is ...

  11. WII RAINBOW ROAD IS COMING! : r/MarioKartTour

Remember it's Mario Kart Tour Nothing makes sense ... We also didn't really have an idea of when Wii Rainbow Road would be coming because of the ID gaps not being able to predict it. I bet the NY Tour and Wii RR being slightly off schedule is partially related to the Underwater/OR course not being ready, experiencing a large ID jump between ...

  15. Wii Rainbow Road Confirmed for Mario Kart Tour : r ...

My only problem with the track, it's my favorite ever, but i dislike how they are recycling so many elements from the MK7 Rainbow Road :/ that random reused moon model from 7 could've easily been Starship Mario or the Comet Observatory, this track has Mario Galaxy references already, so i think it would've been a great idea to push then further to make it more unique, i suspect they may end up ...

  19. What's your opinion on Wii Rainbow Road : r/mariokart

Worst 3D rainbow road. It's one of the best Rainbow Roads. I love the Super Mario Galaxy stuff in it like the guard rails with launch stars on them, bits of Good Egg Galaxy play in the music, and star bits surrounding the wavy road. The music is great, the setting is great, and the track itself is great.

Rainbow Road (Nitro) SNES Rainbow Road. N64 Rainbow Road. But we only have 1 Bowser Castle, that being: Bowser's Castle (Nitro) I think Wii Bowser Castle has a better chance to be remade instead, this track in my eyes would work better with Mario Kart 8 than Wii Rainbow Road. Wii rainbow road is coming : r/mariokart. File names for wave 5 tracks. Wii rainbow road is coming. This shows once again the prefix leak was accurate. Koopa cape is 52 and sunset wilds is 53. Both match with the prefix leak. Well it's not accurate anymore because of Moonview Highway's ID.

    2. N64 Rainbow Road. This track has gotten the biggest glow-up in Mario Kart history aside from SNES Bowser's Castle 3. The music is honestly one of the best Rainbow Road songs ever, maybe not the best, but it's easily a top 5 rainbow road song, it's not as emotional or magical as the original, but it sounds very triumphant and exciting, and i ...

You start in the dungeon of Edinburgh Castle, wind through the castle and along the walls, escaping onto the bluff overlooking the city, then down the mountain through old town and over the bridge for the finish. Florida. marrakesh, alger, dublin, mexico, beijing, moscow or st petersburg, idk. Rio Raceway. Venezia.
