You planned our holiday perfectly and took care of everything including all the special requests we asked for. Our driver was a very friendly and knowledgeable guy who really went out of his way to help us enjoy our trip even more. He took us sightseeing to amazing locations that were not on our itinerary but which he knew we would enjoy. The management at all the hotels made sure everything was perfect during our stay and they helped us with directions when visiting local attractions. My favourite meal was the lunch we had at that very small hotel near Marari Beach !

Hi we had a wonderful time. Loved Cochin. We didn’t have enough time in Munnar. We should have done the lake cruise but were directed to do the Jeep safari. No animals were sighted / apparently the Jeep ride needs to be done early morning or at dusk. Even if we wanted to do an elephant ride / there was not time. The elephants were resting when we stopped there. Our driver was very good.

We had the pleasure of taking a relaxing Kerala tour, exploring the beautiful cities of Cochin, Munnar, Alleppy, and returning to Cochin. I must say, it was one of the most rejuvenating and memorable trips I have ever been on. The tour started in Cochin, also known as the 'Queen of Arabian Sea'. The bustling city with its rich history and culture left me in awe. From the ancient Chinese fishing nets to the Dutch and Portuguese architecture, Cochin has a unique charm that can't be found anywhere else. The highlight of my time in Cochin was the Kathakali dance performance, where I got to witness the traditional art form of Kerala. Next, we headed to Munnar, a hill station situated in the Western Ghats. The scenic drive to Munnar was breathtaking, passing through lush green plantations and waterfalls. The cool climate and serene surroundings of Munnar made it the perfect place to unwind and relax. I also got to visit the tea museum and learn about the history of tea production in Munnar. One of the most memorable experiences of the tour was the houseboat cruise in Alleppy. The backwaters of Alleppy are a sight to behold, with their tranquil waters and picturesque landscapes. The houseboat was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities and the staff on board made sure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The delicious traditional Kerala cuisine served on the houseboat was the icing on the cake. The tour ended back in Cochin, where I got to explore more of the city and do some shopping. The tour company had arranged for a local guide who took us to all the famous markets and helped us bargain for some great deals. I also got to try some mouth-watering seafood dishes in Cochin, which is known for its fresh seafood. my experience on the relaxing Kerala tour was one of a kind. The tour was well-organized, and the accommodations were comfortable and clean. The local guides were knowledgeable and friendly, making the trip even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to unwind and experience the beauty of Kerala. It truly was a trip of a lifetime.

After breakfast spend the day with local sightseeing. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundale, Munnar is 1600 Meter above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India. Local sightseeing of Munnar includes visit to Mattupetty Dam, Kundale Lake and Echo point. Afternoon proceed to Rajamalai were the rarest species of mountain goat, “Nilgiri Thars”, can be spotted. Overnight stay is arranged at Munnar.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Thekkady (04 Hrs); on arrival check in to the hotel. Proceed for the sightseeing tour of Thekkady – one of the world’s most fascinating wild life reserves. The Periyar wild life sanctuary in Thekkady is spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick ever green forest. Noted for its geomorphology, diversity of wild life and scenic beauty, the sanctuary was declared a Tiger Reserve in 1978. Optional activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Spice Plantation visit and Elephant Ride can be done at an extra cost. Overnight stay is arranged in Thekkady.

After breakfast check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey. Set out on an enchanting overnight backwater cruise in traditionally decorated houseboats. Check in time is 01:00 PM and cruise starts with lunch. While cruising in these floating luxury-villas, let your eyes settle for the rare and the unusual – skim past Chinese fishing nets, bowed-down paddy fields, and local inhabitants engaged in making coir products, rustic homes, and ancient temples and swaying coconut groves. After breakfast, check out from the houseboat and drive to Kovalam (04 Hrs Drive); on arrival check-in into hotel. Kovalam is one of the prime beach destinations in India. Enjoy the evening watching a spectacular sunset or swimming at the picturesque Kovalam Beach. Overnight is to be spent at hotel.

After breakfast proceed for a day trip to Kanyakumari. Kanyakumari is located at the southern tip of the Indian subcontinent and represents the site where the spiritual leader Swami Vivekananda spent days in meditation upon a rock off of the coast. Padmanbhapuram Palace, Suchithram Temple, Devi Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Memorial, Gandhidham and Trivenisagam are some of the sightseeing attractions in Kanyakumari. Enjoy the sunset in the evening and drive back to Kovalam for an overnight stay.

After breakfast check out from the Hotel and drive to Trivandrum Airport / railway station (depend on your departure place) for your flight / train back home, feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in the God’s Own Country.

Day 01 - Cochin to Munnar (4 Hrs drive)

Welcomed by Travel Planners representative at the Cochin Airport/Ernakulam Railway station and thereafter drive to Munnar a hill station(140 Kms/4 Hrs drive), located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India it still retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations, most of which are privately owned. With its sprawling estates, rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, picture postcard hamlets, and undulating valleys, Munnar is an ideal holiday destination. En route visit Cheyyapara & Valara waterfalls. Check into your hotel and unwind. Rest of the day at leisure to enjoy the ambiance of Munnar. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 02 - Munnar

Munnar is one of the best honeymoon places in India.
