Stuart text us exactly where he would meet us before the tour and was there when he said. He very efficiently got us set up with our helmets and then patiently explained how to ride and made sure we were each comfortable. Colorado Segway Tours – Denver-Boulder

Discover two of America’s favorite towns, Boulder and Denver, from the ground up with Colorado Segway Tours. They operate guided sightseeing and historic tours year round, weather pending.

Explore these two unique Front Range cities in style on a Segway. It’s perfect for friends, family and corporate outings. All tours include comprehensive training by a Certified Segway Guide.

Segway tours in Boulder and Denver

Segway tours last two hours each and cover around eight miles of riding. They begin at 9am, 12pm and 4pm, in both Boulder and Denver. Reservations are required, and tours do get sold out, so plan ahead. You can reserve your spot online or by calling their office.

Children must be 14 years or older to attend the tour. Dress appropriately for the weather. Tours operate all year, however the outside temperature must be at least 40 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s best to wear sunglasses and sunscreen. There is a small storage in the handlebar bags. Helmets are required and provided.

Boulder: Covers historic neighborhoods, the Mork & Mindy House, Chautauqua Park, Flatiron Views, Gregory Canyon and the Pearl Street Mall. Tours depart from 931 Mapleton Avenue in Boulder.

Denver: Covers parks, trails, historic sites and the Platte River. Optional excursions include Confluence Park, Cherry Creek paths, Colorado Convention Center, Cheesman Park, Denver Art Gallery, Denver Mint, Ball Arena, Lower Downtown, 16th Street Mall, and Capitol building. Tours depart from 701 Water Street in Denver, across from the Downtown Aquarium.

Requirements

• Advance reservations required (sorry, no walk-ins)
• We require a minimum of two people to run a tour
• All riders are required to sign two waivers in-person at the tour
• Riders under 18 years old must have supervising adult sign the waivers for them
• The outside temperature must be at least 40 degrees, and

This is achieved thanks to the mobility that driving the segway, a two-wheeled electric vehicle, gives you, even if it's your first time, as you'll be given a short training session on how to ride it before you start.

The tour through the streets will also be comfortable as it is a tour for small groups , about 6 people in total, so you won't bump into or disturb the rest of the participants. This way, the tour guide who will accompany you will also be able to give you a more personalised experience.

Unobscured views and a mellow pace will make your visit to this beautiful park memorable. Your guide will point out exotic plant life, local animal life, and of course, numerous spectacular geologic formations and the unique caricatures hidden within them. We make several short stops to admire the sights, and will stay on the Segways for most of the tour. You’ll view the wonders of the South and North Gateway Rocks, Kissing Camels, Three Graces, Sleeping Giant, Park Overlook, and Praying Hands. You’ll learn about the geological and cultural history of the park, not to mention, the opportunity to learn the most famous tall tales and true stories The Old West and Colorado Springs have to offer.

These tours take place on city streets and bike lanes and are considered moderate to advanced.  All guests will receive training and rider evaluation, in the coned zone, prior to the tour.
